Mr. Murray was an excellent representative. He was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. He answered all of my questions and saved my family a lot of money on closing costs.

I give them 5 stars, they did my mortgage and several business owners I know, they work so much better and faster than the banks and rates are the same, I got 3.625% and this was in Nov 2016 when everyone else was getting 3.75

Super easy to work with. I was able to get a better interest rate than we initially discussed. Overall the experience was amazing, especially being a first time home buyer. OVM Financial team worked with me and made sure I was able to get the best rates possible. Even in the midst of Covid this team went all out. They kept me notified of all changes that were happening as soon as then happened. If I ever buy in VA again, OVM will be my first and only option.

I didn't expect that the process would happen so quickly and the people that I was dealing with were helpful and friendly especially ANGELO King. The day before meeting them in person, ANGELO had everything ready for Matt to lock in a great interest rate for me. I highly recommend them.

UPDATE-
Thank you Sarah and Eugene on Cynthia's team! Eugene was a great help to me after we got passed to contact issue I was able to see OVM for what everyone else sees them as! Eugene notated that we recently had a baby, he extended himself to me even after hours as he understands questions arise at any time. I have left with a plan of action and I look forward to working more with OVM in 9 months!

So, my mother was financed through OVM earlier this year, throughout her entire process she raved about how awesome OVM was. This inspired me to contact them for my mortgage lending needs. All the fabulous reviews solidified my decision to contact them.

My husband and I submitted an online Pre-Qualification last week. After submitting an automatic message generated and we were notified someone would be contacting us within 48 hours. Sad to say no one ever got back with us. 3 days pass and I go to their website to get their phone number when I was greeted with a Chat option. I attempt to inquire about my previous app and all the chat did was submit my information..AGAIN.. I ask her when someone would be contacting me, she said "as soon as someone is available." the chat ended.

3 days later still. have. yet. to hear from someone at OVM. So, I take the opportunity to give them a call on Monday (11/13) and I spoke with Sara who is the assistant to Cynthia. She did a whole entire new app and this time something must have actually processed because CK notified me my credit file had been pulled. Sara and I concluded our phone call with her explaining my file was going to processing and I would here back Monday or the following day (11/14). Most of Tuesday passes and nothing, so I give them a ring and the sweet receptionist is trying to help me but for the life of me I couldn't recall Sara's name at the time. Unfortunately I wasn't able to follow-up.

However, this morning I dialed them up because sheesh this is leaving a bad taste in my mouth. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt, after all my mother loved them. I was able to have my file found by my husbands name and I was transferred to Sara. Whom informs me she has passed my file to Eugene and he would be taking care of me. She went to shoot him an email to ensure he had my file on hand, she was not able to email due to internal errors. She then informed me she would give Eugene a call and call me back.

Sigh.. I am not pleased or impressed thus far. I am hoping to hear back from Eugene by the close of business today. If no, I will ask that they delete my file all together and I will continue searching for a mortgage lender to work with. Quite disappointed.

Recently, my husband and I worked with Bryan Miles at OVM for the mortgage financing of our new custom home. What an awesome and welcoming experience! Bryan was very professional, knowledgeable and wonderful to work with during our mortgage loan process. Throughout our mortgage loan process, Bryan was very professional. He always took time to ensure we were informed every step of the way. Thank you, Bryan and the OVM team for helping us achieve our new homeowner goal!

They give accurate information but didn t listen to us at all. I explicitly stated we were applying for the VA Loan as my husband is a veteran. I also stated we were looking for a 30 year term for around 260,000. I filled out the application the same way. John submitted our application as a 15 year term for 300,000. We explained where our credit was prior to applying and yet he still did it just to tell us (actually, he called my husband even though they had been working with me) we needed to boost our credit . No explanation, didn t tell us that the pandemic changed the way banks are doing prequalifications, nothing. He called my husband at work to chuckle and tell him there s NOTHING he can do to help us. Then advised we work with a credit agency to help, even though we previously explained that we had done that already and we just needed to establish revolving credit to help at this point. It felt like everything we discussed before and everything I put into my application went in one ear and out the other. Terrible experience. Waste of our time and energy, just to negatively effect my credit .

Everything went smooth and was handled very professionally. Phillip and his assistant were very responsive and communicated timely and professionally with any questions or concerns.

Chip had my best interest at heart. He really did me right, and I'm sure he'll be honest with everyone as well. I would completely recommend OVM Financial.

OVM Financial was recommended to me by a friend. Initially, when I went to be qualified to buy a home I saw I could have confidence in them. My home buying process turned out to be great! They kept me informed, answered all my questions so that I understood pertinent details, if there was an issue they assisted me towards resolving a problem, and connected me with associated businesses necessary to complete the home buying process. What I really liked was that they always returned my text/call or email; that is a mark of professionalism. The whole process went smooth to closing.
Secondly, they were genuinely personable, and never seemed too busy to speak to me. Should the question come up to me in the future I would recommend OVM.

I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Michael Murray from the start he only dealt with me mainly through text messages and email and the loan paperwork was all electronic. Whenever I sent any paperwork I never got any response and was told by my real estate agent that s just the way he is and if he doesn t reach out everything is good he constantly made simple mistakes like spelling of my name , phone number , ethnicity and huge ones like wrong social security, wrong employer and charging my card for the loan processing before inspections were done on a previous property I ended up backing out from. He wouldn t check his email often so I would often have to fill out the same paperwork multiple times. He has a terrible attitude and no sense of customer service. I m glad my agent made up for all the inconvenience and constantly made sure everything was good to go. Every other experience with the rest of the staff was great I wish I had gone with someone else.

Both Matt and William Yanaga did a great job from beginning to end assisting my family and I. I was a first time home buyer and they answered all my questions and kept me up to speed on all the updates. Couldn t be happier.

Ovm financial in va Beach va failed to figure out my taxes and insurance for escrow purposes. They missed by just under 900 for the year. My insurance didn t go up. My taxes don t go up. So now I m short and my house payment went up over $100.00 a month. Truly unprofessional business. I do not recommend this business to anyone looking for a home loan.

Working with OVM has been a pleasure, they are very thorough and always timely reaponsive. My lender provided great advice and I was able to save more money than anticipated during my process. This is a highly recommended company.

This is my 4th time buying a house, so I have dealt with many lender s including brokers and directly from the bank. I applied for a loan through Navy Federal and OVM at the same time. My loan was rather small and difficult to approve, but that did not stop OVM from treating me like a customer of high importance. Particularly, my broker Crystal Inscoe. She came up with several solutions to get that near impossible loan approved. She also returns emails and phone calls very promptly, including on Saturdays. The rates I got were very good. Navy Federal was just the opposite, they were hard to get in touch with, and you had to schedule phone conferences. It was way easier to deal with OVM and if you want the best service ever, ask for Crystal Inscoe.

they both worked hard so that my mortgage loan would be approved in time for my closing date. I called them several times with questions and if they couldn't answer the phone,they returned my call right away and took care of my concern. Also, whenever one of the staff sent me an email, Jillian called to let know the email was coming and what I should do next.

Inconsistent communication for an FHA loan. I was working with Andrea Hale. I understand the loan was small and they wouldn't get much money from me if it went through, but the lack of communication was frustrating to say the least. There was nothing but static silence when I sent in all of the documentation--no word on a closing date for weeks. The deal eventually fell through, but that's no fault of OVM.
