Good for getting some work done and meetings
They serve long blacks with sparkling water as it should be done

I would recommend going here if you like waiting an hour for a table and another hour for very very (below) average food (visited on a Sat for lunch). Since they are extremely busy (bafflingly enough) they are also not very flexible on ordering your food while you wait.
This place is rediculous. Definitely overrated. Us a group of four has been sitting there for 30 min, after placing our orders. Then we were told that they forgot to place it. How professional!
Delicious food, cool atmosphere and friendly staff. The coffee was really good!
Got a cold drip coffee and a beef brisket. Both were amazing.
The beef was cooked just right and not over, poached eggs were done just right and did not taste rubbery, coffee was mild with floral hints and served with one single cube of ice so the drink stays cold but doesn't get diluted.
Overall, a must try!
nice coffee place, located in a warehouse setting with long Q. loving this coffee place, very popular among Gen-Y and beyond.. haha.. Cheers
Nice setting and atmosphere. The coffee here is one of the best in Melbourne and never disappoints. The food is served well but I personally find lack of choice. It s more of a coffee place with some food rather than a brunch place. It can get a bit noisy as table is shared with others.
I'd rate my breakfast burger a 5 and the decor and service were pretty good. The person I ate with was not as impressed with the eggs Benedict Waffle so we'll go with a 4. Had a 15 minute wait at 1040 on a public holidays but right now it's 1120 and the line curves up the street so come early. The food was served quickly though.
Coffee is very good. I recommend flat white. Mushroom and omelet types are highly recommended. Price is expensive
Good coffee and service but food as many mentioned feels slightly overpriced for what you get. A $24 dish left me unsatisfied
Twenty minutes for two regular takeaway coffees. Very efficient.
Take away menu only but still blown away! Delicious breakfast burrito and mushie/egg brioche bun. My partner said the chorizo in the breakfast burrito was one of the best he had tasted! Of course coffee was outstanding as well. No almond milk but had oat and soy.
Excellent coffee. Canonical definition of Melbourne hipster. Love this place.
The ambiance was great. The food and iced chocolate was good. However, the seating was a bit limited. Would not recommend for rush hour.
Wonderful Melburnian interior decoration.
Step in and you will feel the urge to have a coffee!
Wonderful staff and quick service.
Great and really nice coffee. The food and service are also amazing. Highly recommended to visit
Tried a few different cafes around Melbourne Uni, by far this is the worst coffee I've ever had. For $5.7 (regular size), I expect some fine coffee. It was ridiculously sour, I thought the milk had gone off. I asked my friend, he's coffee was the same, so I guess must be the type of beans they use. If you don't like sour coffee, wouldn't recommend this place.
It was great! But a bit crowded
If you wanna chill and spend time alone, I don t recommend here.
The foods and coffee were nice. And location is also good. I recommend waffle egg bennie :)
One of the coolest roasters in Melbourne. Try to visit its outposts also, The Traveller and Brother Baba Budan. The cool thing is that Baba Budan was a 16th century Sufi that's supposed to have taken coffe out of Yemen to the World. He took 7 seed in his belt in one of his travels (that explains the different names).
For a place that's known for its great coffee, the milk in our lattes was burnt
Coffee was fine. Food was below averag. No high chair for babies. Good environment.
Delicious coffee and Benedict Eggs !! But toast was a bit unfortunate
Gorgeous atmosphere, great background tunes. It s the perfect cafe for solo productivity in style. Helpful staff.
Oat milk mocha was good but wasn t quite hot enough as there was heaps of tiny, gritty un-melted chocolate bits at the bottom, tasting like hard little flecks of sediment that I initially thought were coffee grounds. It was also quite watery for some reason, which I never find with oat milk coffees from other cafes.
Nice coffee, friendly staff, but I ordered wild mushrooms and it wasn't good. Also it was expensive. This place is not good, for me.
Awesome coffee. Great staff and service. Always accommodating.
Buttermilk crumpet was unique in a good way. Coffee was great too.
Great coffee. I love exploring when staying in the Melb CBD and although this cafe is just outside that i was not disappointed. Cafe alse has a great ambience to it. Well done.
One of the best coffee in Melbourne. Worth trying is the Eggs & Waffle and Beef Brisket Hash for the unique flavour combination.
Mostly I'm there for the coffee, which is quite good. It's always busy, the decor and staff are nice, and on the rare occasion when I've eaten there I've been happy with the food.
Great coffee, and amazing avo smash. 2 large rye slices, and a mound of avo that must be 2 full avos. Poached egg on the side. That's a full proper meal.
Fantastic coffee in a trendy converted warehouse space. Exciting menu and warm, friendly staff
Nice cafe looks like a warehouse on outside but cool decor
Only had coffee and a cake as we were there quite late. But great buzz and ambience. Friendly staff. Plenty of place to chat with friends or do some work in quieter corners. Will definitely visit again to try the food.
Good dining environment with friendly staff, well known for their coffee and it's actually quite nice.
One of the Uni students' and staff favorite cafe
Great spot if you are in need of a flathead and a cinnamon scroll/croissant. Probably the best i had in melbourne. Looks like a bit of a studenty part of town, however great service and exceptional coffee. Also seemed to be the only place open early on a sunday, which went down a treat
Service can vary between amazing to indifferent (waiting 15 minutes to pay a bill). Coffee is always great, if you have a bad coffee here then there has been a disturbance in the force. Good food, very sweet biscuits, great hot chocolate. Can get quite busy and a bit loud but staff have always been very accommodating.
One of our favourite breakfast locations. The team care about their for and their coffee. Always busy, always buzzing. Don't be afraid to sit and people watch, there's Melbourne in a nut shell who drop in
Deliciously roasted coffee. The baked eggs with chorizo was warm and satisfying for the belly.
Great industrial-chic atmosphere and welcoming staff. Good spot to sit and read or refuel on your lunch break/day off.
Fantastic food, prompt service and great coffee! (Additional pictures added from a follow on visit)
Love this place, I ve been there couple of time and it was always good.
Their coffee is great, but i wont recommend cold coffee I believe it was too watery wasn t very nice.
The food is great we all the dishes were amazing
Definitely recommend
The taste is ok, but the portion is small and not full
Nice place, good coffee, friendly staff. What more do you want
Good menu, quick and attentive service, warehouse-style environment. Nice buzz inside. Bit pricey.
Nice place, nice food, nice atmosphere:) I'd recommend to try the smoothies/ drinks on the special list. (I've tried the ginger bread smoothie this time. Wanna try the strawberry rose smoothie too! ) Their cold brew is cool as well!
cosy place to hangout in carlton, melbourne, Australia
Excellent find. Lovely place, great food, great crowd. Everything I have tried has been wonderful. I suspect there is nothing on the menu that is anything other than wonderful. Usually a good queue to get seated but not bad. If you are solo, super easy to get a seat usually.
A great place to visit with friends for breakfast/brunch. Very crowded on Sundays, so make sure you reserve your table. Friendly staff. Ordered roasted cauliflower and vanilla shake. It was amazing.
Roast chicken roll and beef burger, flat White.
Chicken was well roast. Very tender, but less season.
Bacon was well cook, crispy but not dry. overall it was really good.
Flat white, the foam and temperature were perfect.
Well mixture. Balance, you can taste the sweet of milk, and the flavor of coffee.
I've probably spent low triple digits at this place. A class unimelb haunt, probably the best coffee in the area with some of the best food too. The *only* (very slight) problems I have with this Cafe are that it can get expensive and that it's usually quite packed so can sometimes result in a wait to get a table.
Not a fan. Just another low rent cafe with delusions of grandeur.
Never have such amazing flavoured coffee in last 15 years in Melbourne.
Amazing.
Excellent coffee as usual. Seven Seeds is one of Melbourne s best coffees and has been for a long time.
Also highly impressed with COVID-19 protocols - including watching for QR check-in to register on the system before seating our table, and setting clear guidance on when masks needed to be worn before taking coffee order.
Decent food and great coffee. Highly recommend as Melbourne must see brunch location. Weekday visits isn t a bad choice to drop in. Would definitely visit again.
Excellent coffee, clever cafe food (although served in modest portions). Seven Seeds is run by hipsters, but they're friendly non-judgemental hipsters so all comers feel welcome.
Food looks great in pics but we never got to taste it because our "15min wait" turned into a 45min wait and then we were told it'd be an additinal "30min" to get food. This place has potential but management seriously needs to consider efficiency. For instance, correct me of I'm wrong but placing two people on a table that could easily fit five people does not seem logical. Very saddened by the experience considering we chose to come here on my sister's b'day for brunch.
Try the Eggs Benedict and waffles as they are simply delectable! I have brought many friends over and they can't agree any less.
Must go for coffee and breakfast.
Solid staff, solid coffee, solid space.
One of the better flat whites and long blacks in town.
The coffee is yummy and the food is fantastic ! I wish Sydney has this one...
I love the warm of environment in there.I ordered mocha. So, That coffee has stronger than other cafe. I m very satisfied of it. Staffs are more friendly than other cafe as well. The food is bigger portion than some cafe. It has more comfortable chairs and tables than some cafe. This cafe will be my favorite ever!!
Great food. I really enjoyed s bit out of the way but the building is cool.
There are so many cafes in Melbourne but Seven Seeds is one of the best! Good coffee and good vibes
Best coffee I've tasted in Melbourne for sure. Flat white was so full of flavour, every sip was a delight!
Great coffee beans here! The latte and flat white are satisfying... we also bought a cute cup here!
Great food! The pulled pork waffles & eggs was amazing, as well as the espresso french toast! The pork neck roti was also delicious though the meat slightly dry. Coffee was great too! Only downside is that the chocolate/cocoa they used in their mocha was a bit too acidic for my taste. Did not complain at the store as I didn't think there was anything actually wrong with it, so nothing to fix, just that it didn't agree with my taste.
honestly the coffee was so delicious, I had to order 2 for myself hehe
