Great vibes and a beautiful fit out, the staff are also really friendly. The menu is great. Lots of sweet and savoury options and a cool selection of teas and smoothies etc. Pretty standard brunch pricing for Melbourne $$$.

The mood was extraordinary. The sustenance and frosted chocolate was great. Lunch costs are somewhat high and not the best contrasted with numerous others in the neighborhood your an understudy anyway as a grown-up gathering customers for espresso here is incredible. Can be boisterous however.Will return without a doubt and look at the nourishment, which looked stunning as everybody ate around me.

The menu is extremely limited, we were tempted to walk out upon seeing the menu. However we decided to stay and try the egg waffle. It was nice but a tad heavy. Service was unfriendly. There are nicer cafes in Carlton so I would not come back.

Really nice place... good selection of food and the coffee is always on point! not too hipster or pretentious... super fast food service order and it's at the table in a few minutes.. will be back again and again

Coffee - got a takeaway flat white. Taste is earthy and complex, starting slightly acidic and with a creamy finish. The mouthfeel is full and balanced, rich and lingering.

Full disclosure, this is my favourite coffee in Melbourne, hence the branded KeepCup. I've been getting a coffee here a couple of times a week for the last three years and despite searching I've yet to find a consistently better coffee around town!

The staff are friendly and even when flat out they are efficient. More importantly, no matter how busy they are the coffee is consistently awesome! Not once have a got a burned coffee from here.

The downside is everyone in the area knows the place is great so it can get ridiculously busy, especially from 11:45am to 2pm, meaning there might be a long wait for your coffee.

Had coffee and lunch here and the slow cook ossobucco special was delicious. Paired with a single origin filtered brew. The perfect things for a winters day.

Seven Seeds is by far my favorite Melbourne coffee roaster and the cafe does not disappoint. Food was delicious and the cafe itself is a great location with plenty of space. Highly recommend visiting this spot and you'll leave after consuming just that little bit too much caffeine

Came in for breakfast with my partner. They made a mistake with our coffee order. It didn t need to be a big deal - just letting me know a mistake was made, apologising and then fixing it would have been fine. What happened instead was the waiter was hostile when I notified of the mistake and enquired about a resolution. He spoke to me rudely and insulted me by suggesting no mistake had occurred, then lying about the situation and not apologising. After this occurred my partner and I felt too uncomfortable remaining here so left our plates and coffees on the table untouched and left. It s a shame about the horrendous service as both the food and coffee looked great.

Directly connected with coffee growers in Ethiopia making for great filter coffee (Gold Mesh, Aeropress, and Pour Over).

Space is really well designed with a cupping laboratory in the back as well as small shop at the front selling roasted beans. One of the best cafes / roaster in North Melbourne.

Been there a lot of times and once I just forget to pay the bill. When I realized that I have been blocks away from it. And I just came back the next day to pay my bill. It is really funny every time I thought about it

Smash hit every time, except waiting is a pain. Allow minimum 40 minute walk in to walk out.

This place has really gone down hill. Found that the coffee and food quality has been diminishing, and overpriced. $25 for eggs on toast? I know its brunch but that's unreasonable when the food isn't that good. Shame as I used to like this place for its innovative food

Very happy with the food, coffee and value for money at this place. Very cool 'weekend destination' spot for all-day breakfast. I had the Truffle Omlette which was delicious and a massive serving (I couldn't finish it all myself). They were very busy when we went (saturday), and didn't seem to have enough servers as there was quite a wait for food. Also no split bills on weekends is pretty annoying. But otherwise good vibe and friendly staff.

Good coffee and breakfast. It s a nice and busy cafe with plenty of tables. Ordered a cup of cappuccino and it was okay, not really fascinating or something. The breakfast set was adequate but it would be great if they could serve toast and scrambled egg separately else the toast get soggy.

It is really delicious, the atmosphere thief tmd is good. Hamburg is worth recommending. Crisp outside, smooth inside. perfect!

The broccolini salad is absolutely smashing! The thick layer of beetroot powder is super tasty, quite sweet. The crunch of the pistachios and wild rice is also a standout. Can t recommend enough.

A cosy warehouse style setting for breakfast or brunch. The service was excellent, food and coffee was great! A good place to hangout on a Sunday morning catching up with your friends. Will definitely visit again to try other dishes :)

Ventilation is awful, service is bad. 14 minutes can not make a coffee.

Good coffee, good food and good atmosphere. However, might have to wait a bit longer for the food which I think should be improved. On subsequent visit, the wait was even longer. Don't think it was with the wait though.

I cam for the coffee (which was great i might add!), but the cardamom porridge/oatmeal was the best oatmeal I have ever had!!!!

We went in for about 10 minutes and went in. I asked you to eat ice flat white and said that it taste the same as your ice lattes. I was sued and delicious! Good mood of atmosphere

Cool venue just north of the CBD. Nice interior and layout and the coffee equally as good.

I almost gave up looking for the right cappucino in Melbourne for my taste. But I finally found it here. It was flavourful and creamy with the right balance of acidity and bitterness. I can really taste the coffee instead of just milk.

Good food, nice decoration, quite cosy but also a bit expensive. But all brunch places are expensive. Recommend going early if you are going for brunch during the weekends.

Great haunt. Popular student hangout, can be a bit of a wait for takeout.

A Melbourne coffee cafe institution really. Never disappoints. A little pretentious in it's youth but has mellowed nicely over the years.

No high chairs. What kind of cafe doesn t have high chairs?

The good old Seven Seeds cafe. Great food, good vibe but quite noisy. There is usually a long wait (30-45min) so best not to go there at 12pm

As the place got bigger, the cafe got busier. I remember having a consistently great coffee when i was studying in Melbourne around 2014-2016 when the cafe was only consisted of one small block. The cafe at that time was very cozy, the barista and waiter were more relaxed and friendly - radiating good ambiance of the cafe.



Would love to come back again during a non-peak hours. Hopefully, there be better vibes next time :). Wishing you all the best!

Either it is an overrated site or we had bad luck ... but I did not like it. Maybe I did not make the right choice, maybe the table was not comfortable, maybe the waiter did not have a good day ... I just know I will not be back. Best options in the area.

I went to eat early in the morning. The atmosphere in the store is relaxed

We were here for breakfast on a weekday and it was still relatively busy, and i can understand why.
The coffee was pretty good and the breakfast menu offers some other options that differentiates it from other cafes.
Service was pretty quick and food was prepared well and was quite good. Looks like a popular place for locals to hang out including students/workers with their laptops. May be a little pricier than some other places but not dramatically more. Definitely a place to visit again.

Seven seeds had such an amazing vibe - with all the beautiful foliage and plants you feel as if your outside when your in :) the only negative I have to say is that their vegetarian and vegan menu could use some improvement

The cool cats that work here are too cool for school, but the coffee is great

Used to be good. This time very bad and arrogant service. I was moved from my seat once and had to wait forever with no one coming to offer coffee order or menu. Went to register and was offered apology with no intention to resolve the issue. They all seemed not to care. Ended up ordering takeaway Magic coffee which was burnt and tasteless.

Delicious and busy spot for weekend brunch. Even kept the kids happy with strawberry & rosewater milkshake and beer battered chips.

The waitress was rude, condescending and made us feel very unwelcome. We had been using it as the go-to brunch destination because there is room for prams and its central location. Unfortunately the arrogant service has lost our business henceforth.
