Dropped in for a coffee. Great staff. Flavour of the coffee was great. Had it in a take away but decided to sit in to enjoy. Latest music was playing in background which was quite nice. Then the staff collected my cup letting me know they 100% recycle them there. Will return for sure and check out the food, which looked amazing as everyone ate around me.

Typical Melbourne coffee/brunch place, good food (try the eggs Benedict on waffle, the hollandaise sauce is pretty good), didn't quite like the coffee though. Be prepared to wait; the staff however warned us about the waiting time to be seated and to get the food, which was a nice touch.

One of my favourite Melbourne coffee roasters, seven seeds does great coffee, fast and helpful service and delicious cakes (not baked on site though). The space has a converted warehouse feel and there is never too long a wait for a table if you don't have a huge group.

The food menu changes every so often but usually is pretty poor fare for vegetarians, they will never modify a item off the menu either so your choices for non-meat meals is pretty limited.

Having said that the coffee is what you go here for.

Quoting a self confessed home brewer: Nick, "I'd give 3.5 stars as we didn't experience it properly. We just went in there, ordered a coffee, stood around and got the coffee. The kitchen was a bit too dark for our liking. It was a health and safety risk for their staff. Best coffee I've ever had."

The chicken cubano was great!

The chicken cubano was great!
The avocado toast didn t have enough avocado taste, tasted watered down.

Nice vibe to do some computer work in! Nicely decked out space, plenty of tables, plenty of power points, lots of beautiful plants. The staff were pretty friendly and the playlist was awesome - uplifting, productive vibes.
I had the gluten free brownie which was super tasty but a bit too sweet.
I was a bit disappointed that tide was well out on my pot of green tea but other than that, all good! Though I expected that they would have wifi but actually don t.

Waited 15mins for a table on a busy Saturday for brunch, really wasn't too bad. Fantastic food and coffee, recommend their egg benedict. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff.
There are some 1hr street parking around but is not easy to find a spot.

Nice

Awesome place for a really good quality breakfast and high quality coffee. Despite many menu changes, they have consistently delivered great dishes.

As at July 2017 I thoroughly recommend the smokey beans or eggs and waffle benedict Oh and the catch brew is really good!

The location of the coffee is a bit far from the city centre, but it's easy to find and it's one of the most famous cafes in Melbourne. The coffee was fine, the milk was well frothed, it was a good cup of coffee, and it went well with his reputation. The hamburger is also delicious, the bread is crisp, and the sauce is also very good, which is worth recommending. The service and environment are very good, if I go to Melbourne next time, I will go again.

Always good quality. Prices are not too low, not too high, and definitely worth it. Was busy when in around 1:00 but the staff are great and we were out the door with our takeaway before long.

7 Seeds is close to the hospitals, unis and student accommodation, not far from the markets and the tram stop.
It s located in a big barn of a place, so tables are very well spaced, and there s some limited outdoor seating in a relatively quiet street.

Review for the discerning introverts:

Review for the discerning introverts:

Interesting. Upon stepping in here, I noticed the vibe to be relaxed, casual & almost familial; friends & family looked intimate enjoying their time together.

The food was good, I had the burger but the real winner was the side of chips we had with spicy cream sauce & tomato sauce. Why? The outside had a satisfactory crunch to it; giving the teeth a nice texture of taste, while the inside was fluffy and not too cold/hot. The sauces weren't extreme flavours either which was good for a morning occasion, nor were they bland; just right.

This place really felt like the home of Goldilocks this way. My friend had the egg and waffle & said the flavours were nice yet evened out; not too pointed in one direction.

Overall, despite the noisiness, my friend & I didn't need to shout & I was content & relaxed. Check it out.

Oh and the coffee is good also (I got the single origin they had on at the time of writing); the mug sizes could be larger for those who prefer more milk (yes, I know. The size is about retaining the intended flavour; but what about the extra shot options? Melbournites are coffee addicts!)

Really lovely service and relaxing vibe that you don t feel like you have to leave after gulping down your coffee. The cafe is divided into sections so although it is jam packed, you only have to wait a couple of minutes for the staff to find your table. We ordered iced long black -lukewarm at first but with the humongous ice cube, the temperature drops to perfect in a few minutes. The coffee has fruity taste and though we didn t order any food, what we saw on many tables did look delicious!

Very poor experience at Seven Seeds for breakfast on Friday morning - service was remiss and food/coffee was average. Although not very busy, I waited 30 minutes after ordering to be told wait staff had forgotten to place our order with the kitchen. Was not offered the option to cancel my order, or any further acknowledgement of the error as I settled the bill. Given its price, I expected the situation to be handled better.

Staff and service : EXCELLENT, great staff!!!!!

Staff and service : EXCELLENT, great staff!!!!!
Decorations and vibe : great !
Food : extremely AVERAGE.....really need to work on the combination of flavours, also potatoes not crispy enough , some potatoes even undercooked.
Music: can be improve ... not really consistent genre even throughout just one meal ...

The coffee is so very good and the venue appealing and spacious. They know who to source their baked goods from - top quality (with the buttery croissants a favourite of mine to have with Vegemite). The morning rush can be a bit impersonal but if you become a regular, the staff are really friendly.

Nestled amongst two universities, assorted apartments, warehouses and construction sites, Seven Seeds is one of a handful of Melbourne coffee institutions. Mind you, co-owner Mark Dundon is an old hand in Melbourne coffee circles, having previously set the standard at St Ali.
The decor is coffee hipster, with tables filled with students & uni staff along with other professionals lucky enough to work near by. Weekends see more variety at the tables next to you. In either case, there's a good chance you'll have to wait for a table add the place does get busy
You can expect delicately roasted coffees and a number of choices on offer in the grinders each day. Some may find the house blend a little too milky as a latte, so if you're like me you'll order a strong latte or better still a ristretto instead.
The menu is basically all day breakfast with a couple of exceptions. They don't have a full kitchen, but they do well given the space available. People don't come for the food though. They come for the coffee & stay for the food, as is only appropriate in Melbourne.
For coffee lovers.

I've been wanting to try the food at Seven Seeds (even though they're famous for their coffee) after lots of good recommendation from friends.

We had the roasted mushrooms and wagyu burger and it was simple but good. The mushrooms were awesome with the ciabatta and the pesto they used was just delish.

Coffees were great, nice spacious seats although a lot of it were communal tables. It was pretty busy when we went on a week day but still got seated very quickly. Our food took a while to come but it was worth the wait.

Would definitely come back.

Excellent service

Beautiful interior, you wouldn t know it was there unless you really looked for it. It was very busy even on a Tuesday lunchtime so I assume the food must be great, we only had coffee but that was great!

Seven Seed is one of Melbourne's top 5 cafes!
traveller with brother baba buba!?
It's the same group as there! The coffee beans are really good and the people at work are really friendly.
Where to get a good vibe!!
If you are traveling to Melbourne, I hope you will stop by and have a cup of coffee!
The food is delicious, but it's a bit expensive!!
Personally, egg Benetite was delicious!!
So latte is also delicious and good!!
They also cook waffles themselves!
The location is not just near Victoria Market, but when I went to play there
I think it would be nice to hear it together!! Hahaha

Nice coffee, and service.

Nice coffee, and service.
But I feel it's overrated. I ordered Hunters Breakfast for $26, good flavours but way too oily and felt like, it was lacking a piece of bread to equalize that oil.
