Great hospital and staffing. But no decaff coffee ? Terrible for consideration on patients with caffeine restrictions.ot cardiac patients. Please change this policy.

This hospital nearly killed me because some of the medical staff is lazy and sloppy. I was in anaphylaxis but they refused to give me standard care because they did not know how to identify anaphylaxis. Run, do not walk, to a better hospital. This one nearly killed me from gross negligence and actual malice. If medical staff does not know something, they should ask colleagues who do know or they should google it. Leaving a patient to suffer and nearly die from lack of care should be grounds to take away the facility’s license.

Forrest Gumps mother said “stupid is as stupid does“. This definitely applies to Orlando Health scheduling. I don’t think they learned the days of the week because when I said it needs to be before Wednesday, I was repeatedly told well I have a Thursday appointment. It was so irritating. I finally told the girl you’re too stupid to talk to and hung up.

It's awful what happened to Christina Grimmie. :( I'm sorry for you're loss.

This is my second time here. The first time I was admitted for three days just for then to monitor me. Now I'm just sitting here... I've been here since about 7... didn't get into a room until about midnight and the doctor still hasn't come in to talk to me.... In just ready to go home at this point.

We are glad that we selected Orlando Regional Medical Center to receive our urgent medical needs. This medical institution is all about serving the community with all medical needs with excellence. Healing begins with extraordinary human qualities of the staff which comfort the patiants. All levels of staff is extreamly kind and comforting. They make you feel that you among loving family members. My wife was admitted to this hospital and we experienced professiinal service with extra care and concern.
We glad to call this hospital "Hospital with Big Heart to the community.

My health was first not the bill ,they never even ask for my insurance card .The doctors and nurses was the best it was slow but the service covered that can't get everything life is better. The only hospital I want to go to and I live Haines City.

Friendly staff. Huge waiting room for surgery patients family.

I took my father to ORMC and the ER waiting room is absolutely disgusting. There were cups scattered all over the floor, trash and even food sitting inside their decorative plants. Someone was asking for change in the waiting room and confronted me both times I got up. If they can't maintain their waiting room, Then I am not sure I trust them caring for my family member.

Most of the people we encountered were rude. There were a few ladies who genuinely cared about my family's comfort, wants, and needs, but the majority of the staff we spoke to were rude and had extremely poor attitudes and did not fully explain what was going on for the first few hours.

Horrible Horrible experience i will never go back,misdiagnosed,wrong medication etc.Nurses think there doctors there very judgmental and really have no ideal what there doing,very unprofessional.

Nurses on the second floor (2C)are extremely rude to patients and visitors !!! Everyone apprears to have an attitude every question I asked the answer was (NO) including for a better chair (Nurse stated that the chair i had which was very uncomfortable was the only chair in the unit) This is the worst experience i have had during my visit to ORMC ! Diffently will think twice before returning to this hospital !!

My sister's boyfriend went in for an operation on her stomach and ended up having 1/2 his stomach removed, than had a heart attack. So far he is alert and talking. My sister needed a wheel chair and they brought one to her and brought her to the 8th floor right to the room. When she was done visiting, a security went upstairs, picked her up, walked her to the her car and he walked her to her car. She said thank you and he shook her hand. Another day we went to go to lunch, I couldn't push the wheel chair and carry food at the same time so a man came over and helped us to the cashier and he paid our bill and brought the food to a table for us. Come to find out, it was a worker there. There is more but don't want to carry on, like opening the doors for us and answering any question we had. I would recommend this hospital to everyone I know.

I never got to meet my surgeon before or after the procedure. Majority of the staff assumes you are an expert and know all of their terminologies and abbreviations. Nursing staff seemed like it was all their first day. Just called for the third time to refill prescription (pain killers) and was told it will be 24-48 hrs to write script... would have been nice to know that was standard procedure seeing that I am down to my list pill.

My experience with Orlando health was extremely positive. When faced with a clerical problem they managed to fix it In a reasonable amount of time.
Also getting a Intravenous inserted was problematic but they were able to get an expert in a timely fashion to get it done. I was very happy with the services provided.

This hospital wants to see you suffer and does not care about their patients. 91% of the doctors, nurses and administrators only care about money while they watch you cry in pain for hours waiting to be seen.

Staff was great, don't know if because I'm in the military, but I didn't had to wait long

Construction accident - broke back L3 - Compound fracture 6 inches below knee left leg. - broke right foot. 3 surgeries. 2 blood transfusions. Excellent hospital & care.

No one at this hospital knows how to wash their hands. While I was an in-patient, waiting for an X-Ray, I overheard a trainee ask, "Shouldn't we wash our hands between patients?" and the trainer reply, "No, that's just for your protection (it's for infection control and it's to protect patients, actually), and you should only do it if you're being tested or inspected or something."
Later, a surgeon, who was also unaware that hands can be washed, or that gloves exist, forcibly grabbed my face without permission or even a how-do-you-do? to examine me.
That assault was the last straw and I signed out AMA immediately.

Currently, I am treated by doctors from this Hospital for my treatment in and before Breast Cancer, and I am currently receiving chemotherapy, and the service I have received has been of quality and excellence. For this reason, I congratulate your President as well as the medical staff and all the employees who work in it.

Madjer and Angela are an awesome nursing team! These two have taken amazing care of me above and beyond the normal care you should receive they are genuine and professional!! No matter how many times I ring my bell they come to my rescue as I had extensive surgery and cannot do much myself. Great woman with great personalities, I'm lucky to have them taking care of me! They have explained everything in detail and have asked me multiple times what they can do to help which is awsome when your in a position like mine and you cannot do for yourself! They have been nothing but PERFECT AND I HOPE THEY ARE RRCOGNIZED FOR THEIR EXCELLENT SERVICE! These days it's hard to find people who love and enjoy their job to the point where they treat everyone around them with respect a lot of places don't get this lucky to have a team or nurses genuine and hard at work!!!! Thanks for taking care of me!!!!!!!!!! Madjer&Angela YOUR GREAT!!! Please don't ever change you guys are helping people in a way I can't explain well enough!!!!!!!!

I've seen a Hematologist, Neurologist, Cardiologist, Neurosurgeon, Surgeon affiliated with the Cancer Center. I've had numerous tests, procedures, chemotherapy. I can say with everything that I have went through for the last two years That I have Never had a bad experience with any of the medical staff at this medical center. They have saved my life and now I am back to being myself. I love every doctor that I have interacted with and the nursing staff are the best I've ever seen.

I walked out of the hospital today, overhearing two doctora say I was there for attention. They didn't think I heard, horrible bedside manner. The doctor that came in after saying that making me feel like some crack head off the street.I didn't sit in the ER under a heart monitor and told I was going to be admitted for someone to tell me I'm here for attention. Seriously??. I'll go to another hospital, when I get my proper care my lawyer will send you the bill. Absolute nonsense!! You should be ashamed. 8/30/2019 1:51pm

The hospital is beautiful and a Level 1 Trauma Center however much of the nursing staff lack basic beside manners. I had a hard time finding any empathy from much of the staff.

Why would you have a parking garage at the childrens side and not for regular emergency i feel they need to fix that.

They diagnosed me with scabies when I actuslly have a deadly staph infection. Terrible. Quit ur jobs over there please you are literally killing me. Still fighting to see the correct doctor to treat me.

My husband had major surgery at ORMC for cancer his stay was 7 days. I was there everyday and everyone I came in contact with was welcoming, easy to talk too and very pleasant. The 7th floor step-down unit was absolutely the best, all the nurses, assistants, etc. were caring, helpful and they really were top notch! Truly impressed! I can't say enough about his doctors, Dr. Escalon, Dr. Skinner and Dr. Herrera they gave us the best care possible and they really took time with us and always showed genuine concern. If you need medical help, then this hospital should be your choice.

LITERALLY HORRIBLE! STARVED ME FOR 12+ HOURS! WORST STAFF, CONSTANTLY LYING TO PATIENTS!!!! Kept me in a windowless room, did not give me any information after I survived a motorcycle accident. Didn t clean my wounds and the bandages were not properly fashioned.

Don't ever come to this hospital they lie about my husband they told him that he could go home on Monday and they keep him still and this hospital will give you the run around and they will not keep you updated on what is going on and I went last night I was just minding my own business and security told me I had to leave and the bus wasn't even running yet and the doctor told me I could wait in the lobby

I would give zero stars if I could, service was awful. When asked if I could eat, I was told I would be informed shortly, yet after waiting 2+ hours, an order I didn't make was ordered for me although I had not been informed if I could eat yet and then when I confronted the nurse with the confusion I was told "you said you wanted your diet advanced? You should've known this was gonna happened!" As she was upset for being in pain and getting flustered I guess?... Nurses are very argumentative and uncompromising or unconplient with patients needs as I asked many times to confront docs and none were ever contacted or maybe I should have guessed what they said too?

I am an orthopedic surgery patient. My visit was an absolute circus up until Pre op. Sent in the wrong places by 3 different employees. Also have consistantent problems with the Ortho doctor admin staff. No solutions offered by office supervisor.

The Doctors and surcgical nursing staff were a 5 star performance which is the reason for 3 stars. Will probably not repeat for future health care.

The Nurses on floor LP9 have been phenomenal. The hospital as a whole has went above and beyond for my boyfriend. Before Monday I had taken my boyfriend to 2 other hospitals. Both hospitals said here is some medicine, go home. Brought him to ORMC when things got worse. I mean worse as in not able to move. Not able to do anything with his lower extremities. Well here it is friday morning and they did back surgery to fix the problem. They also caught his kidney going into failure. They started giving him potassium and his kidney is back to normal. They caught the blood clots in his leg as well. Great hospital.

waited 3 hours for blood work when they finally came, no one could find the charts. Very unprofessional and I will not be putting my life in there hands again.

Outstanding quality, compassion, and competence in the ER and on 5th floor North. Our loved one was admitted through the Emergency Room, and ended up having 2 surgical procedures. during his stay. The patient and family were treated exceptionally well. Some of the family work in healthcare, me included, so we have some contest when we say that the 5 north staff provided some of the best care we have ever seen! Heartfelt thank you and appreciation to Dr's Supplee, Claudianos, Garcia; & RN's Laura, Gabbie, Corin, Haley. You made a difference in our lives.

My father had a stroke and the hospital had him sit in the waitin room for over 2 hours ridiculous

The worst experience ever, the room is nasty af , my bf been sitting in one spot for 5 hrs straight . I hate it , the nurses and doctors are bad.

My husband had back surgery with Dr. Webber. Guest services were so kind and comforting while waiting for his surgery to be finished. The staff members overnight were mediocre. We've experienced worse. Dr. Webber was on time the next morning, which was great, but getting discharged was a nightmare (our only complaint). If you're in a hurry, don't count on getting out on time.

Had surgery on my arm, they saved my life, I was impressed by how professional everyone was, they made the stay as less painful as possible it is a great hospital

Horrible! I had a grand mal seizure on Monday and was rushed to this Orlando Health on Underwood st. I was rushed to the ER, but I had to wait almost an hour for someone to see me. The right side of my face was all scared and stinging from my fall. After this took place it took a minute for them to assign me a room. My nurse said a neurologist was supposed to see me that night or early the next morning. Unfortunately, I didnt see a neurologist until Wednesday, late afternoon. Then had me to an EEG test then at 9pm had me do a MRI. Im hoping to be discharged today,Thursday. I spent much longer in this hospital than I should have. This Orlando Health has HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION! Ive already told family and friends if i need to be rushed to the hospital again , do NOT send me to this one on Underwood st.

In considerate and indecent staff in ICC. Only two nurses were decent and genuine. The doctor spoke to my dying father with no respect or regard for his comfort. They lied to us and didn't take care of him until I asked about things. The nurse literally would watch her watch and come in barely able to contain a grin when his time was coming She didn't even try to hide her satisfaction. I thought it was just me until other family members confirmed it. My dad when he could talk wanted to leave because it was something about his doctor and that nurse. They will answer for this. It was indecent to treat him that way to say the least!

The people at Orlando Regional are caring, compassionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated to patients and advancing healthcare for all. Regardless of a patient's financial situation, insurance, or residency, they never turn away those most in need. They're non-for-profit and community based, and are staffed with some of the best professionals in the country. The times life took a turn for the worst and my family or I needed advanced medical treatment, we went to ORMC and never had a negative experience. I'm grateful for the care we received, and recommend this hospital in the highest.

ER would offer me little treatment because I have no insurance. Tried to say it was stress and dehydration even though I had IV at a center earlier. Referred me to surgery center. $8k bill for almost nothing.

Doctors are extremely nice and professional but front desk staff are unprofessional and rude they seem to look at the patients as cattle rather then humans. My mother has heart failure and was about to pass out in the waiting room and the lady at the front desk told her to go sit back down it's not her turn in line. She ended up passing out and they still had no sense of urgency and made her continue to wait in the waiting room. If you value your family's life do not go to this ER

My name marlene I left from Massachusetts to see my brother in Florida Orlando, to say good bye before he died and the staff and police kicked me out and didn t let me see my brother. I was crying and the staff kicked me out to cry outside, and I stayed outside crying with my son in the rain, they didn t give me information about my brother while I was crying in the rain outside. The hospital treated me really bad and humiliated me so much that I felt not belonging to this earth. This happened to me 3 times, and I had to return to Boston without saying goodbye to my brother and he passed without me saying my goodbyes. I never seen something so horrible like this hospital. Ismael santana was my only brother and no he s gone without hearing my voice say something to him. This hospital has no heart or feelings for others. They don t have sympathy for people like me this hospital is terrible. Worse attendance ever

My Mom was hospitalized in July 2018...she was on 8C. I cannot began to express in words alone the heartfelt gratitude I feel for this team. They took amazing care of my Mom...like she was their family member.
I have never seen a team of staff more dedicated to the well-being of a patient. When I say staff I also include the Dietician that work 8C that young lady went above to accommodate my Mom.
Team 8C is top notch: Emily, Dee, Chynna, Kahini, Morgan, Angela "Vein Whisper", Angela (Morning Nurse), Stephanie, Gina, Paige & Sebastian...I applaud each one of you for your excellent service!!

Five stars based on the wonderful doctors and nurses...they are exceptional in every way and felt completely at ease, comforted and confident with my care once I was taken back for surgery prep. The facility itself however needs overall attention including better time management and communication for appointment/surgery time and comfort for the patient and those waiting for the patient. I was given two different report times for my surgery and arrived based on the earlier time, waited two and a half hours before being taken back for surgery. The facility has nothing to keep the person waiting comfortable as far as offering refreshments, coffee, etc. Given the competition out there with nicer waiting areas, this is an area to focus on improvement.

My son was seen by pediatric cardiology. The Dr was great and explained things so that my son could understand. She listened and validated his concerns. The medical assistant Kendra was awesome! She had my son laughing and put him at ease so he wasn t so nervous.

0rlando Health Medical Center takes a team approach to doctors when in the hospital. In my case, and heard from others, there was ver little ownership, accountability, or follow through. I took a day to get discharged.

I don't have an experience with them but Christina Grimmie died there and they deserve 5 Stars for trying to save her.

My roommate was hit on his bike and was sent there. They did not try and help him notify anyone to his location or his condition so his friends and family could find him. Then they kept moving him around so much they lost some of his stuff the big item being his wallet and all it contained. He has no insurance. He did sue the driver that hit him and got a settlement. ORMC put a lean on it before he was even notified of it. It is for way more than he was billed in the mail. about 60,000 more. He can not talk to anyone about this as they do not answer. He has had to borrow money from myself and our other roommate to survive making it tough on all of us. Do your self a favor and stay away. If you end up in an ambulance ask them to take you somewhere else if you can. They are crooks pure and simple.

My mother in law is on the hospital right now in north tower 8 floors and the nurse with need to said the nurses my mother in law need at bath example yesterday she not have bath if you are not there she does not have a bath is terrible.

If I could give 0 stars I would. We waited 3 hours to be seen by the real doctor and then he tried to discharge us without fixing the issue. Never come here! He said that an insanely high blood pressure is nothing to be concerned about. Disgusting.

My husband and I have been coming to this office for over 13 years and have nothing but good to say about it. We have never had a problem getting an appointment even if one was needed for the same day. The o$ice staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Dr Coskun and /he Physicians Assistants take time listen and know the up to date things in medicine. Also waiting times are minimal.Everyone there is super!

Nothing but GREAT! My husband has Cancer and we have been to the cancer center and also seen Other Doctors, labs, tests, etc. We come here from Melbourne often and very pleased with everyone here. Everyone is so kind and Professional.

Excellent customer service and care! I didn't have to wait at all for assistance/care. As soon as I walked into the emergency room While the registrar was getting my information, the nurse next to him was asking me what's the matter. They immediately took me to the back and did an EKG, took blood and got my medical information. I didn't have to wait long before getting escorted in a wheelchair to get my X-ray (I was fully capable of walking but I enjoyed the ride, lol.) Then a few minutes later they got me a room where we stayed comfortable until I left a few hours later.

From the moment I walked in the doors of the hospital until the moment I was discharged, everyone I came in contact with were caring, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and explained every procedure they were going to do.

Suprised how quickly i got through emergency.. I must say they have gottenmore efficient and withthe same patient care

My mother was hospitalized there and received excellent service. In the last moments of her earthly life they do not see she was treated with sensitivity. Your family members are very grateful.

I was sick really sick but guess what i said i was not ready for the shot but they gave i t to me anyway now thats annoyying

Absolutely disgusting , the staff is rude and so brainless it s almost laughable I had a nurse who was taking care of my grandmother leave a whole syringe of blood on her bed side table then came back 2 hours later to retrieve it and while giving my grandmother her meds, my grandma said she didn t want the full dose, the girl ignored her and shot her up with it anyway, then she was sick for the night because narcotics make her ill not to mention how half the hospital is under construction and there were a group of girl scouts running around unsupervised

This is one of the most amazing hospitals in Orlando ,Fl I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. I was taken here on December 21,2014 as a Trauma patient after a very fatal Car accident. I was on the brink of death, I had to be brought back to life and this hospital, this staff they took me in and they helped me. They did every single possible thing they could. They gave me love and support as my family would. My stay in this hospital lasted 4 months and 3 weeks and although I was in a coma for a lot of it, I have my family to prove exactly how amazing this hospital is. People are giving this hospital 1 and 2 stars for such stupidity. Let them do there job!!! There are here to help you, if they say you can't leave or they need more tests, then that's it! And of course they want your insurance information(what ? You want them to do everything for free) . Look at the good this hospital has done. Thank you for saving my life Doctors and staff at ORMC !! YOU ARE AMAZING

Nurse was so rude to my brother never expected a nasty attitude come from a nurse ! We were waiting in the room in the er , the wait was not long at all , but when the lady nurse came in my brother greeted her ,and said hey how you doing how s your evening her response was. ,better than you , #wrong

Attention has been 100% excellent and we are Puerto Rican but we do not complain about the attention my mom is in intensive care and they treated her like a queen

Last week my aunt had a stroke and the experience with emergency room and hospital stay was excellent. Then this week Tuesday we had to go to emergency room again because my aunt fell and was the worst experience. I'm a bit on the fence of I like this place or not.

Received great care and attention from the staff all the way through. Thank you ORMC.

I expected a great experience here. Far from it. ER nurse logged my pulse high even though I saw it (68). Doctor tried to say I only had anxiety (I am literally a published author on anxiety who is never anxious). In pain, they barely let me speak for myself. I had to demand further tests. I did need a surgery. I decided to go elsewhere because the staff were barely awake and acted like they do not care if people suffer or die. ER looks dirty and full of staph. Nurses should not diagnose and the doctor should retire. No wonder everyone is going to natural medicine or oversees. $750 for saline bag. Bring a family member to help or you will be treated poorly as I was. Not one daytime nurse should be working in nursing.

Parking is a real issue. And no security or parking guards to assist the issue. Accident waiting to happen!!!

I just has a surgery there and found the entire experience to be very comforting, professional and Kind. From the people in the surgical prep to the Doctors, to the nursing staff on the 11th floor, I felt like I was treated like a king. We are lucky to have this facility in our wonderful city.

I had two fingertips bones broke, I went to ORMC ER after going to a Florida Hospital ER. ORMC ER was the best choice, they knew what to do with my injury. They need it to admit me like Florida Hospital were saying.

I came to the ER yesterday and had amazing ppl take care of me (I live in Citrus county and hospitals are horrible there) anyway from check in, nurses,CT tech were professional and caring Dr. Barton sat down with me and explained EVERYTHING about my injury my test results and what I should do about my recovery and prognosis his professionalism and care were palpable and like I said my nurse was great even a volunteer was trying to help me. I suggest that everyone go there. Thank -you for reminding me what a real ER is about. I came to Orlando to see my mother)

Er to slow lot of times.slow at discharging patients and my dad.he was not happy when he was in hospital for mens issues but did like food and tray passers.times bosses can be irate with workers causin them to be hysterics in a meetin in office threaten to wrote them up or worse just dpnt need you and not productive enough or dont care if you have anxity issues on job and cry and cant breath under peer pressure.you all need to improve in lot of areas and respect people and be more mindful in peo peoples needs and checkin in out faster efficent.kudos to dr o brian dr Falk who took care of us years ago in car wreck in morning.kudos to air care team in all they do there friendly nice!,mike la.
