Bought a car Saturday. came in the next week to pay my down payment. And the monthly payment jumped up $10. I asked them to go through the paper work with me. And I had certain questions about the trade in. He kept brushing my questions aside trying to move forward without addressing my concerns. They did discount the car 500 bucks. But I felt like I was stuck with the car since everything had been signed. I honestly feel taken advantage of. I wanted to just say may i have my old car back please UPDATE... It's nice to see that the owner has responded to all of the positive reviews on here in the last week. Seems like they really don't care UPDATE. these guys just suck they didn't get my plates until after the temp tags expired

Was pushed over the top to leave a review after today. Have owned our Mazda CX-5 for almost 3 years. Went in to have the tire repaired for nail damage. I went in assuming it would be free (like every other tire place in the entire world). Nope. $20. So out of principle, I said peace and went to the Big O Tires down the road. What really grinds my gears about this dealership, though, is their complete lack of ability to figure out our prepaid maintenance. One of the reasons I bought our car there was their ability to sell me on their maintenance plan being able to keep up with the Toyota Care plan. Turns out there is literally no maintenance plan. I found out about 6 months ago that all they did was take money from the purchase price and tuck it away as a credit to any maintenance I do in the future. As if that isn t bad enough, there hasn t been a single time in the 4 services we ve had that the service department can figure out how to properly apply our prepaid credits to a service without me having to call in to sales, then get transferred to accounting, then have accounting call service and explain how to do it. The main service guy named Alex has twice made my wife (who was not there when the car was purchased and doesn t understand the prepaid maintenance deal) feel stupid for thinking that the cost of our service would be taken care of. After getting charged for our 1st service, I had to call in and beat them up to get it fixed. Next complaint: the car wash. It s actually pretty good now. However, the first 2 years we had the car, there was no car wash. The sales reps sold us on Oh dude, cancel your sonic car wash pass and come get free washes whenever you want . It s not that easy. You have to park, get out for a token, tell them what car you re driving, then get a single token for the wash. Although I m complaining about the wash not working for awhile, I m giving this review an overall 2 stars because the car wash is actually pretty nice now. Last complaint: I think this is tied to the fact that they can never figure out our service agreement, but I can never send my wife for service. It s her car, but I have to take it in myself. I m too worried about the service people either knowingly or unintentionally taking advantage of her. They charged her for our first service and I had to call to get it sorted out. Now she and I both don t feel comfortable taking it in because she asks less questions than I do and can get steam-rolled more easily. No bueno. Now that I ve got the complaining out, I m honestly not sure if Mazda dealerships everywhere suck or it s just this dealership. I dread having services come up. I don t think I would ever buy another Mazda, mostly because of the dealership experience, and partly because I haven t been wow d by our car.
I went to the dealership to have them program a keyless entry that wouldn't program. I had previous remotes that programmed fine. They said that it would take an hour to resolve the issue. When I came back, they said that the keyless entry was bad and that they would sell me a new one for $183 when you can buy one on ebay for $20. They kept my car for an hour, but the rep admitted that it only took a couple of minutes to try a remote that they had in stalk and confirm that it would program. For the time that it took to turn the key in the ignition a few times and open and close my door 3 times to confirm that the new remote would program, they charged me $65.74. I will never go to this dealership again. Rediculous! If you ever go here, make sure they tell you up front exactly what you will get and how much it will be or they will take advantage of you. Typical greedy dealership.
I couldn't agree more with Courtney Booke, I would NOT shop at this dealer again. I recently bought a car from them, first I made the deal with the salesman on the phone after he spoke with their GM, and then they raised their price on me the next day I came in to buy the car, their GM Chip said they need to make some money on it. They didn't care about the deal we made just the day before, I ended up having to pay more than what we made the deal for. a week later I discovered a dent on the hood, they said they won't fix it because they didnt make much money on the car. I am not a satisfied customer in any way. I saw the owner responded to have people call their GM Chip Hawkes
My husband and I have been researching the Mazda CX-5 for quite a while and are very interested with it. We finally went in today so I could test drive it. The sales man was very nice and informative. However, once we asked to look at payment plans, the man presenting the financial information didn't take us seriously and belittled us. He wouldn't bother with giving us actual numbers or a print out of anything. He just threw out some "ballpark" numbers out of his head. We both felt that he thought we were wasting his time. Because of his service, or lack thereof, I can guarantee that we will not be returning to buy a car from Orem Mazda.
Not the best customer service. They finally ended up getting us what we wanted. Only after sending us out the door and we drove 2 hours home. Then they called and asked us to come back after talking to some big boss the next day (should have done it in the first place.) Would have said no, had we not been in need of the vehicle. It was in our price range and fit our family needs.
I wish I could say my experience was a good one, but it really wasn't. I've been going here for about a year now and I decided that I needed a bigger car because my family is getting better. I got a Mazda Cx7. I was promised that they would pay off my trade in, but yet they rolled over almost $5,000 onto a new loan which I got ripped off for. This car was used so it did not have warranty. Yet two weeks after I took it off the lot the check engine light came on. And the service guy had told me $105 just to determine what the problem is. What the heck? I bought this car from a dealor not off the road it shouldn't have problems two weeks after. Over all it was a big mistake of trading in my car. All I recommend is make sure you look over all numbers before signing anything. They will slip in thousands!
It used to be great service here, but lately it s been slacking! Not sure if it s under new management or what, but when I walked in to get an oil change, I was told they aren t taking any walk-ins and wasn t even offered to set up an appointment. Apparently they don t want my business even though I ve purchased 3 cars from this location. I recommend everyone goes to a different place for their service needs and find a different location to purchase their vehicles.
I recently bought a car here, and I had a great experience with my salesman, Sebastian. The reason that my rating is lower than it could be is because they definitely take advantage of customers with dealership interest rates. We had been there all day, they knew that we needed a car by the end of the day, and they didn't show me and my wife the APR until just before dealership closing time when it wasn't going to be possible to negotiate the interest rate at all. Buying a car from here could be fine, but get pre-approved for a loan prior to working with them. Lessons learned.
Bought a 2012 BMW not impressed with there supposed check point system , Cracked Windshield , Bad Alternator, Passenger Seat Sensor bad, Bad Starter, Leaking Turbo lines, They have NO idea how to service anything but a Mazda buyer beware. I give 2 stars cause they replaced the battery and alternator. Buy the warranty or you will be sorry just like me. Yes I am smiling till I got up the next day and really checked out the car. They are like every other dealer put the least amount money into it to get it out the door. Ken Garff VW next door treated me allot better.
The service here was terrible. They screwed me with the new car I bought. The sales reps that I had were very dishonest when it came to purchasing a car. They told me the prices was going to be cheaper with leasing options, however when it came to the signing agreement, I was pressured & taken advantage of. I traded in my car & put $2000 down for my car & ended up paying $150 more a month for a car that could have been financed for cheaper. I pay 310$ for a "leased car", because I was told financing it would be more expensive. Not the case. They added all that they could to me lease to charge me the max they could. They pressure you into getting what they want. & once you figure out they screwed you, they dodge you. My rep stopped contact with me saying basically "too bad." I had to email a bunch of higher ups for them to even talk to me. I basically lost a lot of money going here. They wouldn't help me with something more in my price range or even mention a lower lease option. They made it seem I had no other options. They used sales tactics of showing me terrible, uncleared cars, just to try & make you keep the one they forced on you. Very rude & dishonest. Bryce is a jerk. & they only care about maxing out everything you can for your lease. My friend has a car from mazda that is worth $6000 more than mine, with a smaller lease term, & pays less than me for the same type of car. Terrible, dishonest, & not customer friendly unless you do what they want. I would give it a zero if I could. However, I love Mazda cars. Be very careful & fully informed before you go in. Even if you feel like you "trust" them, don't. So I am stuck with the higher payments & the car since everything was signed. I tried talking to them, but with no luck again. Just another corrupt dealership just looking for sales. They were late paying off my trade in. I had to bug them just to get it done. They don't care about people. I have tried to look at other places to finance & even legal options. It just seems like I'm out a lot of money & generally screwed. Update: They contacted me to see "What they can do." The rep seemed nice & wanted to help, however it's been about a week since I was contacted about any solutions.
Parts dept ordered in the wrong part, it took 3 trips to finally get the right piece, and it was 4 times the price quoted on the phone.
Bought a decent car here for an okay price, but they were not very up front about promotion details. for example, I was told I would get free tires for the life of the vehicle, they failed to mention that I had to have my car serviced by them every 5000 miles to qualify for that. About 6,500 miles in I had to replace the tires from them cracking due to the cold.
Well, its a car dealer. If you want a new car you have to use them.
Service department are crooks. They wanted to charge over $100 to find out why our check engine light came on using their "specialized equipment." Auto Zone or Checker will do it for free using a standard diagnostic code reader. It's a scummy tactic to rope you into getting the overpriced repair done at their shop. During a recent oil change, they said that we needed a coolant flush because the coolant was dirty (Coolant is clean and was recently replaced) and they insisted that the serpentine belt needed replacing (even though it shows no signs of wear.)
We were shopping for a better car. Things we're going great until we had a problem with the radiator and our sales man said that the lemon law was already used. We didn't use it for anything. Nothing was changed on the car. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN. Jesse sold us a car that had problems and didn't say anything about it. Both my husband and I ate very unpleasant with how Jesse has treated us.
The sells men were awesome! Funny, kind and seemed like they cared. I found a car that I liked and wanted to buy, went to the finance guy and we asked specificity if the gap insurance was through the bank (because its half there price) and he said yes, unfortunately come to find out it wasn't, and it was double the banks gap insurance price. So incredibly frustrating.
Orem Mazda left a bad taste in my mouth. My girlfriend was looking for a Mazda and tried a Mazda6 Touring which was nice, but we felt it was overpriced. According to CarGurus and other sites, it was. The car salesman was nice enough, but the floor manager clearly only wants to make as much profit as possible. He didn't try to accommodate us at all, ignored my girlfriend and spoke only to me. He was your stereotypical car salesman. We bought a Mazda3 GT at Bountiful Mazda yesterday and had a much better experience there. The staff was helpful, nice, and really listened to my girlfriend throughout the experience. The pricing is best at Bountiful, D. Dahle, and Southtowne.
Original Review ( Update Below ): Amanda was amazing! Best salesperson I have ever had interaction with. She is very knowledgable and professional. I felt like I was talking to a friend the whole time! Definitely don't hesitate to do business with Amanda at B Mazda Orem, you won't regret it! Update: I took the car in to be serviced and after receiving the list of servicing the vehicle needed I was pretty taken aback by it all. I thought that I had found a dealership that I could trust to do business with but that's not the case with B Mazda of Orem. They fell short on the "facts" they provided on the vehicle and I drove it off the lot just to have to spend a hefty amount just to make sure it was safe on the road.
Do not go to this Mazda! The customer service has vanished. I use to talk about how great Orem Mazda was. But now I tell everyone I know to avoid them like the plague. I have reached out multiple times on Facebook, and email, and each time they tell me it has been passed to management and they will reach out, and they never have. I am externally disappointed in this Mazda and will go to other dealerships.
