Great room with alot of pools, great with AC and alot of beds
Excellent staff, great amenities, beautiful pool area with hot tubs, slide, and lazy river.
Owner since 1984 and every year the units continue show their age. Furniture is worn and disgustingly stained
But the pool areas are great and well maintained.
My family has owned for 20 years this place has it all an affordable
Love this resort have been coming here since I was 13 yes old and now I'm 38. The people are very friendly the rooms are clean and spacious a little out dated but alot of things to do.
Really great Holiday Inn Club Vacation Resort. The Orange Lake Property is HUGE consisting of 3 neighborhoods... West Village, North Village, and River Island. Two 18 hole and one 9 hole golf course, 3 Putt Putt courses, 6 pools, a lazy river, several restaurants, and many bars. Rooms are condo / apartment style. Very close to Disney. Great amenities, good food, good service, especially for the price. I wish they had an all-inclusive option and swim-up bars along the lazy river. They need to have smaller inner tubes with bottoms along the lazy river for toddlers. Easy to say no to the sales presentation, and they don't harrass you to do it, which is especially nice when all you want to do is spend time with the family. You can easily spend a week here and enjoy without having to set foot in a park (unless you want to). Highly recommended.
Best vacation club to be apart of. Everything from lazy river, glof, mini golf, rock climbing, spa, pools, water slides, bar and grill, restaurants and much more. The resort is family/kid friendly and good for all ages. Affordable prices and great employees that are professional. Very relaxing.
Stayed in the building where the lobby was. It had one elevator that dated back to the 1970s for more than 50 rooms per floor and it was located outside the hallway and no be tilacion or cooling within the elevator. Room was ok, although very outdated, desperately needs refreshing. Parking was free and wifi was also so a plus. Price wise good for you dollar if you get or find a discount.
Everything you need in one place. Several golf courses, restaurants and pool. Also a nice lazy river to float on all day! If you're looking for "kid adventure", DisneyLand isn't far away.
The unit had a washer & dryer - nice for a week stay. Clean & well maintained. Most of the people were friendly. There is a lazy river!
Don't try to save your favorite inner tube on the lazy river or the guy will try to make you feel guilty. Instead, the kids who have been saving inner tubes (without having paid wristbands to use them) were given free day passes for putting the tubes away.
$8 fee if you want an exchange of fresh towels - another reason the washer & dryer were great!
One of the greatest vacation house in The kissimee -Orlando area
I always enjoy myself with the kids when we go several times a year. This visit was different the parking lot was dirty, the master bedroom had an old boxed tv, and the staff was not that nice this go round. The most fun was at Sea World.
Villa was great! 5 Late check in(not until 4pm) and early check out (by 10am!) Housecleaning was ringing the doorbell at 950am! 1 which means you don't get a full day stay 1 Free parking 5 but they get you with all the other things. Like the lazy river 4 but if you want a tube...$9/ person 1 Guards will take away your tube if you don't have the paid wristband. Staff needs better managing. Shuttle drivers are insane! 1 And you can't get a parking pass until you have spoken to a salesman about timeshares!! After repeating that we are not interested we recieved the pass with an attitude! 1 It's the typical Holiday Inn patrons as I expected just all packed into a small area like the lazy river and pools. 1 Don't expect the Hilton treatment here or the patrons either. We came for the lazy river which was fun and big but not sure we'll return.
Beautiful heated pools, comfortable rooms and a lot of fun activities. Also by some of the best attractions. What more could you ask for.
A great place for a family vacation...and to own as well!
Pretty nice place to stay. It's huge, and has a lot if different amenities to offer. Shuttle service is offered, but only within the resort. The lazy rizer is really nice, but the price to rent a tube is kind of steep.
Clean and friendly environment. 20 minutes away from the amusement parks.
Checked in today and was told no units available with a waterpark view. I requested a room with a waterpark view 2 months ago, then again called this morning and spoke with Ashley, to confirm my request. I understand they can not promise anything. But I feel there was a lack of making any effort to accommodate us. VERY DISAPPOINTING WAY TO START OUR VACATION.
This is not your typical timeshare resort. This is however your typical used car salesman's resort. Everywhere you go you must either drive or wait on the shuttle, which is very show and there is only one... They continue to harass you about buying in to the timeshare even when you say no 3 times. Their amenities are typical but are also very mondane for being so close to other resorts. I would not suggest this to anyone traveling or looking for a basic resort. Please visit another one this does not make Orlando look good for tourists. Also I did pay for a weekend and did not get a "free" trip. Therefore, this review is authentic and not just some upset sucker.
Great amenities...54 holes of golf on site and proximity to parks cuts way down on travel time
Beautiful resort, really no need to leave to find food or entertainment. They have several restaurants on site & plenty fun activities. I love it, I will be visiting resort again & possibly considering investing in a time share.
More little bugs in the rooms than I would expect but then again it's Florida. Seems like it's an older facility too. I'm sure the high rise is more updated.
Resort with very nice, with lots to do, many pools and kept very well clean, only request would have been slightly more staff on hand to assist when needed
Wonderful amenities and plenty of room for everyone. Close to Disney as well for an easy commute to all the parks.
We stayed in the north village. It was beautiful and quiet. The pool was beautiful as well. No complaints.
I would definitely stay here again. It was very clean, excellent service and plenty of amenities!
Great view, huge space it was like a mini house we had a 3 room 3 bath plus a Jacuzzi. Own kitchen and washer and a dryer was a plus did not expect that. Other then the rooms being a lil out dated with the style similar to the 70s just because of the colors but that s the least part of it drinks ,pools, stores and activities are all near by
Beautiful Place The Kid's Had fun Even the Adults had fun Love Staying There.
First vacation with wife and 2 daughters who are 1 and 3 years old. Daughters both got real sick, so Liz and Lynda at the front desk took care of me in a major way so I could extend our stay and salvage our vacation. When we needed help with the safe, Dominique the security guy came right up and helped us and had my daughters high fiving him and laughing and feeling good. When we felt better we hung by the pool and Letty from river island grill made ordering lunch very special and fun for my daughters. The folks and environment are fantastic, we would have had a horrible first vacation experience had we not stayed here. As soon as we got back we started a budget to go back every year. Thanks to all for everything you did for us holiday inn!
Just spent four nights here. It was quiet and comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped other than not having a spatula. Was very clean unit and staff we encountered were all friendly and helpful. Would stay here again for sure!
One thing awesome people, great place for vacationing
Best resort in Florida!! So much to do if you have kids you will not have to leave the resort.
Rooms are nice, sales staff is very agressive about upselling their resort waterpark passes, and the security and cleaning people werent very helpful when we had issues, took them a long time to get back to us.
Greatest vacation ever I did not want to leave ever so much to do limitless fun
A little dated and big liars on the marketing department
Love Orange Lake . We have a time share and have been there dozens of times.
Orange Lake pulled a classic bait and switch. We came down to Orange Lake after driving 20+ hours because we were told one thing and then upon arrival was given a much different experience. Upon arrival we learned they had given away our room in the North Village and didn t have a room available for us. After waiting for two hours, they put us in the very back corner of East Village Hall by ourselves in a building that hadn t even seem to of been cleaned. They had posted on their website that all pools were open and slides were closed. We decided we could live without the slides since all the pools were still open and we could swim at all of the pools. After exploring the resort we find that only the river island pool is open and that it has reduced hours and they close in the middle the afternoon for an hour to clean, which leaves you with no pools to swim in for a portion of the day. So they are advertising and telling you one thing on their website and when you call, but they are giving you much less than what they are advertising once you arrive. It is very frustrating after driving 20+ hours to have an expectation of what will be open and have it be much less than what they had promised. Also all the pools seem to be operational and running just fine, but they have closed signs out front. There seems to be no reason why the pools could not be open. By not opening the pools except for river island you are simply forcing more people into a closer area which makes the whole situation worse. It would be nice if there was a little more transparency about what to actually expect.
Normally time-shares can be a money pit. But this resort has excellent on site activities, restaurants, nature walks, gym, golf galore, an arcade and movie room which will keep young and all busy. Spacious bungalow/apartments with comfy beds, too. You might have to skip the theme parks...or be close enough to enjoy all of it.
Nice family resort with lots of stuff to do every day of the weekm. Units are spacious and clean. Would get 5 stars if the timeshare pressure wasn't so strong.
Huge rooms, full kitchen and dish washer. Endless ammenities throughout the resort
Huge place, rooms are roomy has a few pools to choose from.
We have owned time share here since spring of 2002. In the last 15 years we have spent 35+ weeks here. We absolutely love it! They are always adding new things. We come for 2 weeks at a time and never leave the resort except to get groceries.
We stayed here a whole week and didn't really have to leave the property lots of activities and fun for the kids
Awesome and is close to Disney World and Universal Studios
We are unhappy with our stay... everything at this resort has a upcharge.. except for basket ball rental which was only two hours at a time.. staff was very friendly but didn't know what was going on when asked questions like? We're do we go for armbands for lazy river.. staff stated to the left.. when we went left they were closed we had to walk all the way to the right and it was a distance...when we finally arrived to get bands they were 9 dollars each day for 1 day.. that is a ridiculous amount... also once we got bands the pool was closed for cleaning for 1 and 1/2 hours.. if we would have know this we would not have gotten bands for the day also this was at 1130 to 1 who closes pool during the hottest part of the day.. and why did staff not tell us it was closed for cleaning ...we payed 36 dollars to only play for 4 hours because that was all the time we had....while pool was closed we decided to check out arcade were kids played one game then when we tried to purchase extra tokens on card.. staff member told us we could not until someone with a card came over to override with a card... really we were told we would only have to have room card with us ....this has not been a GREAT experience for us..
I'm still here but so far this place is lavish like I could live here forever. Its super clean and the wifi is great
This is one of the better time share places in Orlando however being 1 of the better places also means it has 1 of the higher expenses so be prepared to pay higher rates than at your normal time share locations.
I have been standing here for about 3 vacations now. My family and I love this location it has it all.
The Lazy River with Rapids at the Signature Collection was amazing! The Staff, from Check-In ( a young man came from behind the counter and helped me walk to the Signature Check In... how kind!) through check out (LOS! Amazing customer service!) was top notch. Even had fun on the rainy day... How can you not have fun at Orange Lake?! We will be back.
Grounds pretty, kitchen utensils iffy, do not go to presentation
It was a beautiful resort to stay at for the night. We enjoyed our stay, large rooms. Large eating areas and we'll situation in Orlando.
Home away from home. Located in a perfect area for Disney
The best place to be with the family. All in one place.
Don't trust the vacation station. We bought 4-day package and VIP tour from the resort and were thinking of getting a better deal. And realize that we were being ripped off. First of all, we were told the VIP tour was non-refundable, but were able to refund them at the guest service in the Universal studio, except they told us the full price were $30 cheaper than the resort sold us. So, apparently someone is getting more than 10% of commission out of them.
This place is nice. It has everything you could ever want, but it is sprawling and can be very difficult to navigate.
Nice place to stay. Nice pool area and good cocktails. The nachos are great
We had some problems with electrical outlets. Service arrived same day and fixed them. Space was perfect for our group size. Always prefer staying at the vacation resident opposed to hotels!
Great place for a family vacation. You will not be disappointed. Something for everyone. Clean condos and pool areas.
Service was quick and responsive, the accommodations were very nice, and the experience was quite pleasant.
Beautiful place. We only stayed 1 night. We came to check it out. Thought about looking into a timeshare here. It was pouring out all day off/on. Thunder, lightning so no pools or lazy river.. big bummer :( nice restaurants good food, music. Very friendly staff.DANIELA at front desk was friendly, professional, knowledgeable about everything. Easy parking. Price was reasonable. Main reason we stayed here was the lazy river. Stinks maybe next time.
It was amazing..... Very spacious... Clean updated... All you need away from home... Home away from home....
Upon arrival, the bathrooms were not clean specifically toilets. When called to clean toilets they only cleaned one bathroom. Not enough towels provided for 11 people. When requested one more towel we were going to be charged $4 per extra towel. The unit sleeps 12 people. No one came to check on us to see if we needed anything else.
Great resort. Several pools. Lazy river. Slides. The units are wonderful. Food on site not so great.
Very good place, espectacular villas and huge space
Rooms were very nice and clean. Many great amenities and friendly staff.
Rain comes down, everyone out.. And Sun comes comes out 20 minutes later. Tried to go in the pool an hour later, they called the Police on me. Now if you paid the $69 for the Cabana, yeah you also get kicked out and no refund. Are you kidding? It rains everyday in Florida. Beware if you want to book a Cabana. No Refunds.
Best place to stay for a vacation in or around orlando
Great place for the family vacation. Wilson Family has built a Disney level place to stay and play.
Their staff takes care of the place like it's their own.
Sales group needs to focus their approach on adding value to the existing plans of a vacationer or owner not that what they've planned or have is no good.
Very comfortable and entertainment place to have fun and rest with family. You feel like home away home. The only issue I don't like: they promote the "water park" that is just one slide and a short lazy river but they charge you if you want to use a tub for the river!
A magnificent place to stay in Orlando on family vacations.
Lying salespeople, rude, horrible customer service, cockroaches, ants, smell, overwhelming size, forced presentation, way overpriced, free wouldnt even be worth it to ever stay here again. Only positive thing is 2 bedroom is spacious and the full kitchen is nice. But unfortunately it doesn't matter when the rest is horrible.
