Very happy with my health insurance at ONVZ a quick return of invoices easily accessible by phone, easy to submit invoices, no other insurance for me.
I never actually give reviews. But if you are going to take out insurance somewhere, I want to prevent you from doing so with ONVZ. There is little customer-friendliness I have sometimes sat on the phone with tears in my eyes. And the administration is a mess, I get several emails that contradict each other. I have been working on an expense claim for 3 months and will not get my money back. ONVZ is 1x and never again! Don't insure yourself here !!
Professionals who answer questions are asked via Twitter. Minus point, they sign their answer with two letters without a first name. I find aloof
And wanted to go to the Onvz site 4x this week, but not available 3x. Am pleasantly surprised when the site is online

I find it annoying that I cannot see which declaration I have submitted. See that I have submitted a declaration but not which one. I find it difficult.
Submitting declarations via the App is useless, every time I get the notification back illegible, and every time I submit the declaration I can read it properly on my screen before I send it. sometimes I have to submit the declaration 3 times, it also happens that I only find out after a few months. THIS SYSTEM DOES NOT WORK SO GOOD, DO SOMETHING IT.

This morning, with tears in my eyes, I read the response to my application for my family to insure us with ONVZ as much as possible. After several years with another insurer, I became enthusiastic about ONVZ. How delighted I was to join ONVZ with my family. Now my application appears to have been accepted for me and my partner, but for my 15-year-old son, only minimal insurance is possible. Because he may have to wear braces in a year. Our motivation to switch health insurance was not at all because of the orthodontics. We are looking for a personal, emphatic organization. Because I am good friends with the physiotherapist, I thought I would find this at ONVZ. She is very pleased with ONVZ, namely which parents can you ask their child (ren) to be insured under in life? Does playing safe financially outweigh the proposal that the parents want to insure their child less? In life we have no guarantee whatsoever on earth. As a person / as an insurer you may want to predict what the future will look like, but that is of course elusive. Does the ONVZ team include parents who came up with this? In a moment of reflection of life, can you keep looking deeply at justice team? Once again my motivation to join you was not orthodontics at all, but just like other years with a different insurance, we have always been insured to the maximum. I am writing this with tears in my eyes. What kind of a society we live in that an insurer desires / expects a financial boon for the company to continue to exist, then submits as a sacrifice the proposal to insure a child of parents who want to become customers who will insure for less. It's a dilemma where the scale is tilted the wrong way. Please ONVZ in the coming years reflect well on this as a person, as a parent, as a team and owner. The blessing and survival of your company is only assured in the future on the basis of fair business strategies. That and profit means for the company and that you prevent your parents who love their children dearly from asking them to insure them less very sad this.

ONVZ has clear overviews of the various insurance policies. Their website in particular offers many options, including a quick way of declaring. Questions will receive clear information about the mail and telephone. Top ONVZ!
It is shocking. With ample insurance, there are adders under the grass. There is doubt about client / physical therapist integrity and often initiates surveys with several clients; and additional unlimited insurance is not without worries! One claims file access and the tone is extremely insensitive and almost intimidating. Shame,. Nothing is what it seems. It must be as cheap as possible for them and the patient is the victim. Cold shower!

Healthcare in the Netherlands is already on the back burner, if you are also milked by your health insurance is the pinnacle. ONVZ is an excellent health insurer. Good policies with wide choices and an excellent online claim system. After years of negative experiences with, among others, Zilveren Kruis Achmea, I have finally had a health insurance company that I am 100% satisfied with for a few years! I can recommend ONVZ without any hesitation!

Today submitted the same invoice for compensation for the third time because of an accident abroad because it could not be found in my file. Foreign hospital bill would be reimbursed directly via Zorgassistentie but never happened and I still have to pay for it myself. Processing now takes two months and is not yet complete.

I have been a customer at ONVZ for a long time, but there comes a time when you decide to switch to another insurance company. I know that ONVZ alktijd has had a good score with customer satisfaction but I can not say anything about this because I did not really need them.
Last year I needed them and I come to the conclusion that my customer satisfaction is very low. This is due, among other things, to the wrong advice that I have received from ONVZ. She advised me to include a world coverage, which I could see as a good travel insurance where there was no cover for luggage. Ok, so fine. I have been on holiday in Asia and have had hospital costs there because of a fall with a scooter. I was under the assumption of ONVZ's advice that I was insured for these costs. This is not the case. That is, you have lost your own risk first. So I can pay 385 euros and if I had a normal continuous travel insurance of about 60 euros a year everything would have been reimbursed. ONVZ costs me extra 325 euros.
If you call the health care consultant and you have a question about the coverage of your policy you get the answer that she can transfer you to colleagues because she has no knowledge of the content of insurances !! When I received my policy number. she did not give them that because all policy numbers start with a 1 or 2. Leave my policy number. start now with a 5 (at least according to the ONVZ site) You then wonder what a care consultant does or does. Oh yes, it is busy, so you may have to wait 10 minutes. She may never have heard that your customers can also call back proactively!
The ONVZ site is slow and unclear. I can not quickly see how many visits I have had to the physiotherapist, etc.
I do not understand how that high score of ONVZ comes about. But perhaps I am an exception that has a bad experience with ONVZ when you need them or ask questions.
For me, at least enough reasons to switch to another insurer. And take a separate travel insurance, haha.

ONVZ service has experienced a free fall. Willingness and the communication of the consultant leave something to be desired. I really felt like a second-class citizen. Nevertheless, the telephone conversation with them ended abruptly to keep my anger in tone.

ONVZ is a good health insurance policy for us. We have opted for a reimbursement policy from the start. Additional insurance has also been taken out. Why I give 3 stars is the fact that you have to take out higher supplementary insurance from an early age. Too bad we had the Extrafit for years, we wanted to go to the Optifit from 2020, actually more because we wanted to keep the amount for non-reimbursed medication, but because I filled in osteoarthritis properly, I was rejected because I would need more exercise care and that is actually not fair in my eyes. We have been a customer for a long time, we are not leaving, but it was a big disappointment. You do not need a physio for osteoarthritis. I had more physio in the past to prevent surgery.

The declaration App does not work in the Micro Edge Brower and in the Google Chrome browser it takes a long time before you have entered expense claims online. . You have to enter each declaration separately and then you have to wait a long time after each submission before you can submit something again.

ONVZ will now also introduce a preference policy for medicines. I once went to ONVZ to get rid of the discussions at the pharmacy, because despite the doctor prescribing a medical necessity, you do not get the medicine the doctor prescribes but a generic medicine. ONVZ now no longer has any added value for me compared to a budget insurance policy. I am super fit now and save 150 per month, I can easily pay for my medication.
Dear Jordy, I will pay more attention to costs in 2020. And what you call it doesn't matter to me, I have to show again that I have had migraine attacks from the generic medicines. P.S. Price difference between generic and original is 6.00 per month.

I have been insured with ONVZ for several years. Full free choice in care. Handling declarations is always done carefully and quickly. In addition, you can provide clear overviews of your health care costs and deductibles (both on the website and in the app) and I am always well, friendly and knowledgeable with questions and advice.
For me also a very bad experience. I have been working on my km reimbursement of travel costs to hospital and a replacement caregiver for two weeks. Km reimbursement authorization is not automatically extended, although the attending physician states that I need lifelong treatment ONVZ wants to keep asking for a new authorization for seated transport. The invoices are rejected time and time again and various personnel are spoken by telephone and each time you hear a different story. Everything is also selected by telephone in advance for replacement informal care, but is also always sent from box to wall. I receive other answers and actions by email than by telephone from the attending employee. You become really powerless. A healthy person doing this on a daily basis already costs a lot of energy, but a sick person who already has little or no energy must also continue to fight with these types of authorities. Despondent and powerless. I am actually completely done with ONVZ but unfortunately no possibility to get out halfway through the year !!! I would rather give 0 star because they don't even earn 1 star.

Insurance terminated by mail.
Already 62 years Dutch and insured there, I get the e-mail that I must submit a statement from the SVB that I am rightly insured in the Netherlands (not read ..). A few weeks later I receive the email that my health insurance policy has been terminated .. call the SVB, no here is another statement that you may be insured in the Netherlands .. So ONVZ terminated without checking anything an insurance policy by mail (!!) .. Very coincidentally my eye fell on that mail .. Called, mistake no time now .. later .. will be repaired today .. 3 (!!!) days later called again .. who have you been on the line. but it is indeed strange .. they promise me that they will deal with it tomorrow .. and then you have an answer within a few weeks .. Not accepted .. error of you, want it to be repaired now and I am insured again .. and after much penetration I was told that I would be called back today .. I am curious. But anyway .. an email that you no longer have health insurance .. how do they do that when I'm 80 ..

Definitely not for expats!!! they do all they can to delay the application. sending numerous request by email with encrypted message. They also make reference to emails and questions they never asked and claim that if you do not answer they cannot process the application. Even in USa it had been easier for my family to get insured.

However, I am annoyed that when I check the submitted declarations, I cannot see which ones I have already submitted (and which have not yet).
If you submit several claims at the same time, only a submission date and time is insufficient to check. It makes it difficult to check my own submissions.
Being able to declare directly, without having to log in first (quite complex with bells and whistles), is a great improvement! TOP.
