I have been a customer at ONVZ for a long time, but there comes a time when you decide to switch to another insurance company. I know that ONVZ alktijd has had a good score with customer satisfaction but I can not say anything about this because I did not really need them.

Last year I needed them and I come to the conclusion that my customer satisfaction is very low. This is due, among other things, to the wrong advice that I have received from ONVZ. She advised me to include a world coverage, which I could see as a good travel insurance where there was no cover for luggage. Ok, so fine. I have been on holiday in Asia and have had hospital costs there because of a fall with a scooter. I was under the assumption of ONVZ's advice that I was insured for these costs. This is not the case. That is, you have lost your own risk first. So I can pay 385 euros and if I had a normal continuous travel insurance of about 60 euros a year everything would have been reimbursed. ONVZ costs me extra 325 euros.

If you call the health care consultant and you have a question about the coverage of your policy you get the answer that she can transfer you to colleagues because she has no knowledge of the content of insurances !! When I received my policy number. she did not give them that because all policy numbers start with a 1 or 2. Leave my policy number. start now with a 5 (at least according to the ONVZ site) You then wonder what a care consultant does or does. Oh yes, it is busy, so you may have to wait 10 minutes. She may never have heard that your customers can also call back proactively!

The ONVZ site is slow and unclear. I can not quickly see how many visits I have had to the physiotherapist, etc.

I do not understand how that high score of ONVZ comes about. But perhaps I am an exception that has a bad experience with ONVZ when you need them or ask questions.

For me, at least enough reasons to switch to another insurer. And take a separate travel insurance, haha.
