Absolutely beautiful! I just had drinks at the bar, but it was very comfortable and welcoming.

I had a much needed mommy spa day yesterday and spent some time at the pool after to swim and eat lunch. The staff, esp. Lacey and Ricky were so awesome. Genuine kindness and interest in all the guests. I m sure it s tough to keep that great attitude and customer service, with the added stress with social distancing rules, but you wouldn t know it when speaking with them. It was very refreshing in all aspects. Can t wait to go back!!

Lunch at the restaurant was excellent. Food flavor and presentation both wonderful.

I also had a bad experience with Michelle a few weeks ago. We had a day at the spa and went down to relax at the pool and were told to leave since we were not a hotel guest. She later apologized when she confirmed that we were guests. How rude. It really ruined our mood and opinion of the place. We won t be back.

The staff was welcoming and courteous. Location is surrounded by numerous shops/restaurants and of course the beach. The room was clean and full of amenities. Complementary snack/drink bar was a nice surprise. I would highly recommend staying here if you are in the Jacksonville area.

What a beautiful place. The entrance is amazing and if I were a kid I would play in the fountain instead of just wanting to.

So I waited a while to write this. I thought I was crazy but I heard my company will not be coming back to this hotel for its next Christmas party.

My date and I were told there was no parking for us even tho we rsvped. We showed up at 815 for a 7 to 11 party and found after getting a drink that we missed dinner entirely. It was buffet so it's not like it would have hurt just to leave it out. I mean I have been in the business for 17 years and while serving alcohol normally you at least leave finger food. I was told also that it was like golden coral and not worth it. The side bars that were set up looked like they pulled them out of a motel 6 party from the 70's. Cans of coke and Jack Daniels were the top shelf. I went to the lounge down the hall and found it beautiful and the drinks were made well. Nice menu, night and day different.

Why one star. Even if you didn't have any parking left for a prepaid event with rsvp...... In the pouring rain I was turned away with no reason other than we are committed. I asked what that meant and was told the same thing like a machine irs recording. Not offered to barrow an umbrella or told where to possibly find parking in dark rainy weather. Just basically we don't care.

Beautiful decor. Nice check in Experience. Located right on beach. Slow call back from pre check in concierge service. Only few rooms with balconies which makes very little sense for ocean front hotel. Central location to great shops and restaurants. Brock & Christian servers at pool amazing! Dog friendly. They need to promote this more! Can even pre order doggie bed and bowls!

I planned a three day meeting for sixteen associates at OneOcean Resort. The hotel is a great location for work and relaxation with numerous restaurants in a two minute walk. The hotel staff was excellent; Sarah the meeting planner was easy to work with and the banquet captain, Toni, was the best. If you are looking for a great hotel, great meeting location and an excellent staff that take care of their guests, this is the place for you.

Birdie was an excellent waitress at Azurea!!! She made our morning beautiful and we love to continuously visit One Ocean Resort & Spa!!!

Extremely clean!!! And we have stayed at five star resorts and never have we had better treatment than we had at One Ocean Resort. We spent a long weekend there. The resort is right on the water. The staff is amazing! There was not a "no" to anything we asked. We were contacted the week prior to ask was there any special requests we had and the lady told me that their goal was relaxation for us! At our arrival, we were greeted by the valet staff who unloaded our car and proceeded to welcome us. Inside the receptionist greeted us and had us headed to our rooms within 10 minutes. The rooms are NOT splendid. Baths are VERY small and ocean views aren't EXCELLENT . It IS an old hotel that has been VERY nicely remodeled. But we were there for the beach! The food and waitstaff at the pool grill and bar were both amazing (and the beach staff is happy to serve you at your beach chair) Finally as we headed home they offered and iced down our cooler and the valet staff offered us water for our drive. If back in Jacksonville, we will DEF consider a stay at One Ocean!!

Was a nice place but the electricity was out so I had to walk to my room on the sixth Floor for the first few hours. 16 dollar parking fee that I wasn't aware of. Once the power came on in the evening it was a very pleasant experience.

Excellent location, room, and service. Staff is friendly, and the building is intuitive and functional.

I was here on a work conference and the day we got there the A/C for our rooms got struck by lightning, which I understand can happen, what I don't understand is that the hotel didn't offer anything to compensate for the two nights without A/C. Additionally the staff didn't inform me that they were going to put a $150 holding fee on my credit card (they said they were going to post a holding fee just not the amount). So that felt like a lack of transparency and clarity of communication. Other than that the cleaning staff are great and most everyone is kind and courteous. Overall a nice place to stay. This experience wasn't great this time because of the above reasons.

So beware that an ocean view room doesn't mean that. It means you'll see it from a side if your looking out your window down the coast line. Also note that there is a $20 per night valet charge, or you could park your self in the few public spots around the hotel. Oh, don't forget that $25 RESORT FEE for water and snacks in your room. So make sure you drink and eat them, because you'll be charged for them.

Over all I was very disappointed with this place. It does have nice decor and is in a good locations, but it's not a resort, it's a hotel on the beach.

FYI- skip the price resturant in the hotel and go across the street where the food is very good and priced well.

Our stay at One Ocean was short but it was memorable and it far exceeded my expectations. My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and when I told Nikk (who was at the front desk) he was so accommodating and gave us a generous upgrade. He's one of the nicest hotel staff I've ever met! When we got to our room, I was so ecstatic because we got the ocean view! It was like heaven! Although, we couldn't go to the beach because of the weather, we still enjoyed the ocean from our balcony. The valet, John Serna, he was very nice and always ready to lend a hand. The valet service was very efficient!
Spotlight on housekeeping manager, Dearlyn Phelps who was so hospitable and charming! She is the epitome of warm hospitality! She definitely made our stay very comfortable and memorable!
I highly recommend this resort not only for the gorgeous hotel and wonderful staff but also because the location is awesome! Lots of nice restaurants and shops and the beach is right by the hotel. You can practically roll out of bed to the beach! We will defintiely be back....

I come here every year for a conference. The beach is great. Good spot for a morning run. The hotel is close to tons of eating options. The staff has been very accommodating as well

At the end of Atlantic Blvd. It is clean, every one is sweet, attentive and available to help you. The beach is pristine. Chairs and umbrellas available for rent.

One Ocean Spa and staff (honorable mention to nail techs Tina and Veronica) are amazingly awesome! I have tried other spas and they pale in comparison. All of my treatments have been top notch! The atmosphere and friendly smiles are just icing on the cake...I'm a repeat customer (post hurricane and all) because of your EXCELLENCE!

I went to the spa and had a wonderful massage by Sandra, and then a pedicure by Veronica. Veronica does a magnificent job. The spa director Beverly Fox-Crismond was very accommodating and helpful as usual. Love her.

I love this place! Outside of the epic view the scallops are to die for just absolutely delicious

Set up a couple's massage for a friend and myself. The waiting area and hot tub were nice albeit small. But in the massage the therapists asked my friend and me if there were any areas they should focus on, hers being her neck and traps area, mine being my lower back and legs. Halfway through the massage the therapists asked us both if the pressure was okay to which we both responded, "no much more pressure and specifically in the areas we discussed before the massage began." I am not sure why they asked us anything about our preferences because they did not pay any extra attention to our troubled areas nor did they increase the pressure when they were asked to. On top of all of it, I was forced to tip $50 for this unsatisfactory massage. I would not have tipped at all had it been up to me. And if you are forcing a tip, why not just make it part of the cost of the service instead of gratuity? The massage therapists did not deserve gratuity. I have much better service at an Asian parlor.

Great hotel, honestly amazing service and the staff are incredibly attentive.

Our One Ocean wedding experience was totally awesome. The venue is beach glamorous. We did a brunch theme and the scenery is the fanciest around. Megan G. is incredible to work with and so accommodating. I highly recommend staying in a suite to get ready. Our guests loved the veranda ceremony with a modern strings band and ocean view. The food is phenomenal!!! Everyone loved the oysters, grouper, omelet station and most of the moist chocolate bundt. I went with fancy full bunches of blue orchids and that looked fantastic in the ballroom! If you want a day of luxury - have your wedding here. You will get incredible photos on the winding staircase as well! I have too many amazing things to fit in this description! Spend the money and you will never forget your day!

had a great time here, the people were awesome, laid back and professional. the rooms were nice and the pool was great. i for sure would stay here again. i can only imagine how much better it would have been if things were in full effect. the spa,gift shop, gym and bar would have been the icing on the cake. but its understandable with everything going on. i will be back though. thank you one ocean for a great time during this difficult time. you are greatly appreciated..

This hotel was beautiful, clean and offered great service. Loved the interior design and the heated beach terrace.

The whole staff was very curtious and very attentive. We where there for my husband 40 th birthday and they were wonderful. I like to Especially thank Ms. Brianna for being so delightful. We are going to be coming back soon.

Recently stayed at One Ocean as a staycation and change of scenery. It was just what we needed. Clean, friendly staff with an amazing ocean view balcony room. The spa was amazing with it too have an ocean from view while having our services performed. Highly recommend for your next get-away..

My mother and grandmother and I went to the spa here for mothers day and we loved it! I had a massage and it was wonderful and the complimentary amenities made the visit even better!

Who would not love this place??? One Ocean Resort & Spa is absolutely amazing. I like how they have chairs and umbrellas for you while at the beach. The decor is so nice. You can go to the spa or have dinner then walk out to the pool or take a walk along the beach. Great spot for a wedding or birthday party.

Definitely not a place I can recommend. We stayed here for our anniversary and the experience was far below our expectations. It started at check in when our bags were loaded on a cart which we were assured would be right up. 40 minutes or so later I went back down to find our bags still sitting in the same spot next to the check in counter. I was then told I couldn't take the cart up myself and it was finally taken upstairs. Our room stayed uncomfortably hot that night and the next day after some debate the thermostat was replaced. This turned into a problem because it was stuck on 64 degrees when we got back to the room that night. The parking situation is bad and is an additional $29 per day. They parked our white vehicle under a palm tree the first day and pulled it up with the outside filthy from whatever was falling from the tree. The guy then said he could dust it off with a dry towel. The room was extremely small and the bathroom was even smaller. The description stated partial ocean view ,however, our view was a boarded up abandoned house, unless you sat at the old school motel 6 desk and looked out the window. The facilities and service don't match the price and there was nothing resort like about it. The manager at check out did adjust the cost for us due to the issues we had but I still wanted to do this review to warn other people considering staying here. Our Anniversary weekend wasn't what we wanted it to be due to what happened during our stay.

My experience was with Sandra today for the body treatment of an Ocean Polish and Marine Detox Wrap. All I have to say is she was awesome!!! I felt extremely relaxed and comfortable with everything she had done. She was firm and smooth with her technique. I was overall pleased and that speaks volume coming from me!!! Thank you for a great start on my Birthday!!!!!

Great rooms and service. The amenities were wonderful and couldn't beat the location.

If I could rate it no starts I would. Not a good first impression to Jacksonville, after a very long car ride there was no one at the front desk at all. No one around the entire lobby area about 20 minutes I was waiting to check in to my room. Sun had set and all before I walked to my car to call the office. No answer after 6 times. So I requested a refund but no.. non refundable and no customer service at all . This also happened to be about the only resort Jacksonville Florida offers that looked

My daughter surprised my wife and I with a pre paid night. Nice surprise when my card was hit with a $53.00 bill. When I called, I was told it was inappropriately billed to me and not my daughter. They offered to transfer the charges and I told them it was a poor system that put a damper on a gift and they were not going to bill my daughter. Poor business model. The stay was nice, but the surprise a week later sucks royally...

What can I say, but fabulous! Like most resorts, there are additional costs with that being said it was worth it to me! The service is terrific from the time I got there, Grant helped me with getting everything up to the room, Kaytee who is a rockstar leader at the front desk and will go above and beyond to make your stay memorable and amazing! Then there are the staff by the pool, the waitstaff, and guest services like Mohammed and Ava, or Mona (sorry I wish I could remember the correct names and all of them). Bottom line, just go here! One Ocean in Atlantic Beach part of Jacksonville, Floridaand It's just so relaxing and a worthwhile stay! Thanks One Ocean Team!
