Really wish there was a 4.5 button. There were a few miscues And some examples of exceptional service. Fairly typical business Hotel. Nice people and nice location and great price on hot wire.

All staff were wonderful, from walking in the front door, to check in to check out. Room was nice and clean, with a lovely view. My bill was different than what I was emailed with my booking confirmation so ask for detailed bill before you leave. Hopefully they send me the itemized bill I have requested.
Don't use the ATM as we had to deal with getting shorted $60 from the ATM withdraw so we are still waiting to find out how that is getting resolved.
The Omni is always sure to treat you like royalty. I would highly recommend any Omni property to anyone that wants the utmost in customer service and cleanliness.
Friendly staff, good food and drinks, beautiful large rooms, great location.
Nice rooms. Stayed in corner king suite. Room was large enough for 2 adults and 3 childeren under 10. Not the largest suite but adequate in size. Stayed 2 nights. Staff was very nice. Had an emergency midday and had to leave on third day and they did not charge me for the night. Very accomodating.
I had a great rate for a property on Magnificent mile. The service is very good and the location can't be beat. The hotel is clean and well maintained, but feels a little dated - although you can also call it charming :-)
Solid hotel experience. However, the building and rooms are rather old. There was also mold in our shower, but other rooms may not have this problem. Be warned
We had a wonderful time staying at the Omni Chicago. All the staff were very polite. We will be back!
The hotel is not a 4 star hotel. It is very dated. The location is fantastic and the hotel staff were friendly.
Comfortable room, good location, friendly, helpful staff
Our family loved staying at the Omni! More room for us to move around, plus they have a pool!
Beautiful! Great location, wonderful employees. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.
Best location for out-of-town visitors. This is an all-suite hotel, which makes it ideal for families. The staff is fantastic. We were there to celebrate my daughter's birthday with her friends. Kelly at the front desk sent a dessert and the kindest note to our room. The rooms are spotless and spacious, if not a tiny bit dated. This isn't such a big deal. The only thing we didn't love about our room was the view of the building next door.
The customer service is horrible. The reservations team is rude and unhelpful. I booked a room saw a lower rate and called. The original person told me to go find the reservations policy online. I called back and the next person "helped" me cancel the more expensive reservation. She kept the higher rated room. I called back the day before my stay and they told me if I didn't know the exact time of the call they couldn't help me and she wouldn't look for calls in a 4 hour range. I stayed on the phone with a manager for almost an hour to pretty much be told "oh well." I asked for an additional manager or the email for reservations. She said well I am the manager. I said well there has to be someone I can speak with. She said well I'm not sure. Finally offered to transfer me to the hotel manager. She claimed she was transferring me to a manager for the hotel but she couldn't do anything. I was on hold for 4 minutes and BOOM the reservation manager gets on the phone updated the reservation cost (which she could have just offered to do or offered to transfer me to the hotel manager because she couldn't do anything). Transparency and genuinely being able to help means so much in customer service especially at an alleged 4 star hotel! I would have appreciated a "ma'am I can't do that here let me contact someone at the hotel and see if they can help you." And the check in/check our time is crazy 4p-11a. Who wants to deal with that! Not worth the room rates. It was ridiculous!!!!!!
The hotel is good and located in an excellent area. It can be a bit tough if you are driving your own car in, but definitely great for visiting the city.
Very nice hotel in Windy City! Restaurant service little slow.
The rooms were small with a worn out bed to sleep on. The TV signal went out every time it rained. The breakfast buffet was $26 a person. 15% taxes on top of room fees. The front desk is on the 3rd floor along with the main elevators. That s right you get an elevator ride up to the floor where your next elevator ride awaits.
I stayed at the Omni at the end of March. In the first room I received, the bathroom door was broken. I requested a new room and it was smaller and unclean. The bed was not made and there were open water bottles all over the place. I requested a third room and it still was still smaller than the first room. The compensation I received was a free breakfast, which I do not think equals the ridiculousness I had to go through to get a decent hotel room at a place like the Omni.
Everything was good except the wifi would not connect to my tablet
This is a the second meeting we've hosted at this hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful. The food is fine. Rooms are decent. I love having the extra space (suite) in my room when I'm on business. I can set up my office in my room and not feel cramped. Basically a good and consistent experience at the Omni.
Fantastic all-suite 4 star luxury hotel on Michigan Avenue. Fantastic customer service and culinary experience. The Art of Breakfast was superb and could not have asked for a better stay. The staff was attentive and quick to respond to every need. I will be back again!
This was my first time staying and I am so pleased that I will definitely return. The location was perfect for what we wanted to do and the staff were very accommodating to my kids. We had cookies and milk and goodie bags delivered to our room. The door staff helped secure taxis for us and helped with our luggage. I was very impressed
My wife and I were able to stay here for two nights while in Chicago. The registration desk is not on the ground level, and so they advise you to take an elevator to the third floor where you're welcomed by the front desk staff. Check in was a breeze and our room on the 10th floor was very nice and welcoming. A tray of snacks, as well as a stocked refrigerator was about to satisfy my cravings until I saw the prices on those little things. $7.50 for a bottle of water? I had better be drinking the tears of Odin for that price. Bed was comfortable, but the pillows left a lot to be desired, as they were so soft that even with two on top of each other, as soon as you laid your head down, your head is engulfed in marshmallow on both sides. The Omni is located right off of the main strip (miracle mile?) and is easily within walking distance of so many things. I was very happy with the bathroom and shower pressure, and the basic wifi was sufficient enough for me to get a few tips of food and attractions without using my data plan.
Great location on the magnificent Mile. The rooms look amazing.
Noisiest hotel I've ever stayed at. There seems to be an ambulance or police car passing ever half hour and you can hear the water in the pipes and noises from the elevator constantly.
Service is generally good, but inconsistent - sometimes pillows would go missing from my room after housekeeping cleaned up. Oh, and speaking of the pillows, they're very thin.
Loved the dining though and the view was great.
Very spacious room. Ideal location. Good experience overall. Got the American Girl Doll package and felt quite underwhelmed with the presentation of it.
Small rooms and the bar and restaurant was unavailable.
Great hotel, fantastic location, very helpful staff.
Went for drinks and appetizers at the bar on the 4th floor. Both were very good, service was great and nice atmosphere.
I love this facility, I wish we had a better arrival experience last weekend (2/16)
Staff was very welcoming and able to accommodate my early arrival. The breakfast buffet was amazing; tons of items to choose from, including gluten free pastries and perfectly ripened fruit. Room was spacious and had comfortable bedding and pillows. I'll definitely be returning to this Omni on my next trip to Chicago.
23rd floor great view and room service. Kind of annoyed that you have to take 2 elevators to exit.
A very nice hotel. Bed was a little small, but suite was very nice and clean. Got an excellent price from Priceline. Staff was friendly. The only bad part was the inconvenience of switching elevators at the 3rd floor.
We love it here! The rooms are big and very clean and the staff is so helpful and amazing
Good location of the hotel. easy to do web check-in.
Best of all was the bed and pillows
Interiors feel dated, however staff is super friendly, and the on site restaurant's food is well done.
The room was great for the price and location. Was there for the holidays so there were many family with kids about. Which can be a deterrent for some. Staff was friendly for the most part
The customer service & interaction is exceptional at the Omni Chicago! It is well located to the Mall & great restaurants! The corner rooms has great views but the TV is only viewable (somewhat) by one person, it has more room than the standard room also. Request a fridge & microwave when you book as it is not included with the room, which is weird since it is an all suite hotel(????). The rooms are very nice & the beds are uber comfortable. If you are a light sleeper ask about rooms on high floors to avoid to noise from nearby ambulance & fire station. Great hotel experience for pleasure or business!
we got a suite. nice large rooms with decent tvs. location is really close to michigan ave so easy access to a lot of different areas and a short walk to the loop. service is nice and the rooms are clean and updated.
Ricky at the lobby is the man! Very kind and informative!
Stayed overnight for our sons hockey tournament. Location was great! Most of the staff was helpful. Very disappointed in our corner suite! Very disappointed in the way the staff responded to us when asking for an upgrade, which we were more than happy to pay for. Sofa beds are horrible! Not to mention dirty. Felt like the staff was annoyed when we asked for pillows and blankets which were not in our room. Shower backed up so your better off taking a bath in the tiny tub. Just an overall bad stay. Unfortunately not at all worth the money we spent. Unfortunately I doubt we stay here again and highly recommend to others to shop around beforehand. Left wondering what happened to customer service.
Disappointed
Affordable, great staff, and hot girls as far as the eye can see 10/10 great hotel
We always enjoy our stay here. Make sure you join the Omni select to get free wifi and morning beverages delivered. Service is very good. Rooms are well maintained. Concierge is very helpful in arranging tours. Restaurant on-site is quite good. Overall a great place to stay on Magnificent Mile.
I love the Omni! The rooms are always clean and comfortable and the entire staff is friendly, professional, and very helpful. The only bummer was that I couldn't get points with their program because my travel gets booked through a 3rd party.
Terrible service. No greeting at the door at all. Room service is .... ouch
The hotel is beautiful and in a great location. Service was excellent, would definitely visit again.
Great hotel, very clean, soft beds and softer pillows.
Rooms were thoughtfully appointed. The location is perfect In the heart of downtown... Its a little close to NW Hospital (some sirens) but the windows in the rooms keep the noise to a minimum
You can't beat this hotel for comfort, location or service. All the rooms are 2 room suites and the staff is caring, responsive and professional. The best stay in Chicago.
Rooms were nice beds were comfortable lobby was great mini safe couch view was AMAZING Staff were Wonderful the rooms were as clean as soap there were 2 TVs that had a lot of good shows. There was a mini fridge that keeps drinks cold. If you cannot decide what hotel in Chicago to stay in STAY IN THE OMNI HOTEL, It is SUPER FANCY
Elegant, Art Deco vibes. Excellent, central location. Incredibly friendly staff. My only complaint is the outdated TV setup. No smart TVs = limited live and expensive on demand options. Not an issue if you don t plan to spend much time in your room. But still surprising given the price paid.
Awesome service, very friendly. The room was nice we had a twin room which had two beds. Everything is for sale in the room eg. Snacks, water, alcohol, and the wifi were not free for standard guests. Perfect location for experiencing Chicago. Middle of magnificent mile and they were able to hold on to our luggage after check out. Pool was nice. Kind of small, it only had one deepness, 3 foot 6 inches deep, it also had a hot tub which was nice. Overall 4 or of 5 would stay again.
Good sized rooms, location and price. Wifi is horrible and they have satellite tv with virtually no channels. If it rains, no tv. Would pick another hotel.
Check in on third floor instead of first was very weird. Rooms were nice
I stay here regularly and am always amazed at the friendliness and efficiency of the staff. The check in goes smoothly, rooms are spotless and comfortable. Every morning having a complimentary hot beverage delivered to my door makes me happy. Location is perfect. Highly recommend.
All of the staff are very friendly, attentive, and respond quickly. Hotel is clean and close to food, shopping, and public transportation
Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Excellent workout area. Good location on the magnificent mile.
Very clean and new everything. Upgraded to a mini suite for free. Their toiletries were very high quality and check in was a breeze
Great location - walk almost everywhere 10 min or less. Staff very friendly and helpful. 676 restaurant wonderful option without leaving hotel (food/drinks comparable to other establishments in area (price/quality). They should really push 676 more! Got great deal for off-season (late March).
Lots of renovations, central location in down town, and easy to get a cab.
The staff was very accommodating. The rooms and location are perfect
We really enjoyed our stay here!! Would totally stay again!! Service great and clean rooms!!! A++++ hotel!!
Everyone was absolutely wonderful friendly, looking to see what they could do to make our stay as nice as possible!
Outstanding, beautiful hotel and in a great location close to water tower place, Northwestern, and the lake
Great staff at check in. Friendly service throughout our entire stay.
A very classy hotel everything was nice and clean service was very good the doorman was most excellent he was so helpful he helped us avoid a construction delay by showing us an alternate route to the hospital that is what I like to see
It's the Omni. WHat more can you say. I had a great experience here and it is by far the nicest hotel I have stayed at in the windy city.
