Anthony Hamilton concert at State Farm arena was very enjoyable. Staff was very nice
Service and staff were Excellent
Food options were plentiful...be mindful food court closes at 6pm!
The rooms need an upgrade they could be better in keeping with the times but still comfortable and clean
Remember your key to go up the elevator for security purposes.
$45 a day parking
Wonderful experience. Friendly staff, comfortable room. Great place to stay in Atlanta.
Room was fair and clean. The valet parking was horrible. Totally disorganized and overpriced. Upon checking they never delivered our luggage until we called 3 times to ask for it. They would not allow you to use luggage carts unless they took your bags. I would not stay there again.
You are paying for a name. I have had better rooms at the Holiday Express for half the price
Beautiful place. Our room faced outside the downtown night view was stunning.
Good service. . nice place ... Touristy obviously .... Waaay too expensive ...$11 usd for 20oz beer
People at service desk were amazing, but room had a few stains and sticky areas on chairs
Would definitely book again though
Got what i wanted, now sending to Poland with love, "Atlanta"!
I booked this hotel as a birthday surprise for my husband. He was seeing a concert at the Tabernacle and this was very close. We live in Florida, so this is about an 8 hour drive and when my husband was on his way, I called the hotel and let them know this was for my husband's birthday and asked if there was anything special they could do. They were SO nice and told me they would work on something. My husband got there and they upgraded his room, which had a balcony with the most AMAZING views and also gave him complimentary breakfast tickets. Friendly staff, beautiful rooms and amazing views...would definitely stay here again and will look for Omni Hotels whenever we need a place to stay!
So many things to do in this place besides getting a room.
It's a large arena that host all kinds of events. If you have anxiety, be careful here
Impressive open lobby, CNN tour was fun and informative.
The hotel is great and the staff is awesome!
I will give 5 stars if it wasn t for the elevators, the wait for one was between 8-12 mins everyday of my 8 days stay. Close to most attractions in Atlanta, going to the Aquarium is a short 10mins walk. Restaurants are close by and they are right in front of the park where you can exercise on a safe area.
Very conveniently located for business. Connected to the Convention Center is a big plus. Quality of meals for Room Service needs improvement.
Walk there a couple times a week. Always a pleasure!
Great location near the Centennial Olympic Park. A short walk to World of Coca Cola and other sights. Large rooms, great bathroom and shower. Have to register for rewards scheme for WiFi but it is not much hassle. Likely to book here again in any future visits.
Amazing hotel and in a great location. Hop on the scooters and zip around town! That was a blast! Be sure to venture under the building to see the food court and other attractions.
Our room was entered while we were gone and $300 was stolen along with other miscellaneous items
Beautiful hotel. I was there for a conference but the staff was very friendly and the accommodations were top notch.
Stayed @ The Omni 12/15/12. The front desk manager, Gray, was extremely polite and professional. He advised us on some local eateries and put us in a room overlooking Olympic Park with a great view of the ATL skyline. The valets were quick and courteous. The room was very clean and cozy. The only minor problems we had were the TV box not working properly and having to be rebooted remotely, and we had some noisy neighbors at 12:30am. Other than that, our stay was ideal, and we'll definitely go back.
Mandatory hotel parking wrecked our car. They have been less than helpful. Accused us of scratching the back bumper of our own car. Please check you car before leaving. Atlanta PD was very helpful.
They get 3 starts because the hotel staff like front desk, concierge, maintenance, bell hops, valets were great but Housekeeping was a disappointment. I had a 5 night stay in a room with an amazing view but it was poorly kept. The room needed dusting, it had layers of dust on the furniture. The surfaces of the writing table and the bed stand had old dried food spills that I cleaned off with disinfecting wipes. The toilet base where it bolts to the floor had orange drips on the top and we all know what that means. I can go on and on. Housekeeping skipped my room on one of my days stay even after I called 4 times. I finally went down to the front desk to pick up towels. They were very apologetic and very nice and asked if I wanted the room cleaned. I said no because it was after 11pm by then. I was truly ready to go home after this hotel say!
Very impressed! I don t know where all of the bad reviews are coming from but so far everything has been great! Great room, great service! All of the staff have been extremely helpful and friendly! They even gave us a tour at 12 midnight because my 13 year old is impatient and couldn t wait till tomorrow
The Omni hotels are amazing. They have luxurious hotel rooms, as well as lobbies and miscellaneous rooms around the hotel. Anywhere you go inside the Omni Atlanta Hotel at CNN Center will give you a feel of richness and care that was put into the design of each room, and even recreational area. The pool overlooks the conference center and some streets, which was pretty interesting to see. The workout room has so many different machines, you won't miss any muscle group. These hotels also have a piano in each building. The North Tower has one near the front desk/valet concierge, and the CNN building has one near the front desk and bridge to the North Tower. You can play these pianos for free at any time (just don't mess around). The rooms are pretty nice, and have a great large TV. The beds have great comforters and there are many outlets in the room. The bathrooms look luxurious, for just about anyone's standards.
The only downside I have is that internet is not complimentary, and there is a small fee of $4.99 for 3mbps internet, then a larger 15mbps for $9.99/14.99 a night.
We were charged $45 for valet parking for one night. I have never been charged for valet. It has always come with the room. They should make it more clear during booking that you will be charged that much for this service which is the only hotel parking visible when you arrive.
In considering the many hotel options in this category and price point I expected much more from an Omni property. I found the hotel rooms to be very run down and outdated. The double mattress beds were very uncomfortable and hard. The desk chairs were worn down and sunk down to the wood when sat in, and the room furniture itself outdated and worn down. The carpet was worn and needed either cleaned or replaced. The internet service was simply OK and after many attempts to try and upgrade and pay for the Premium wifi I eventually gave up. The sliding door which led to a balcony did not lock at all which I found to be very unsecured particularly since access from the room next door could easily be made by a person with improper intent. The TV service was limited and actually was completely out of service for the entire first day. I was however grateful for the $100 food and beverage credit for the inconvenience which basically allowed breakfast for the three of us. I was also very surprised the bathrooms were not equipped with any type of bars near the bathtub or rubber mats in the bathtub. Two things I was very satisfied with was the hotel location and the breakfast buffet and dining room service.
Easy to get in and out of downtown, but didn t understand having two hotels named the exact same thing adjacent from each other.
They did a great job hosting multiple national events in one weekend.
So clean & sanitary. Plan to visit soon again. The ambience was pleasant & atmosphere spooled great care & concern.
Democratic convention was awesome! Stacey Abrams for Governor!
Stayed at the Omni for the convenience of attending a conference at the GWCC. Much about the Omni was inferior for a hotel that charged nearly $300/night. Will have to seriously weigh all the nearby options when deciding where to stay in the future. Can't recommend the Omni to others based on this recent stay. Would prefer to not mark any stars for this review, but had to select at least one star just to be able to post this review.
Very nice hotel. The convenience to State Farm, The Benz, and other attractions super.
Went for Momocon! Staff was sort of annoying (you don't need to yell at people to keep the line moving while the line is moving) but the center was clean and service was prompt.
Awesome location, great amenities, professional staff. Room service was quick and delicious, even at 1 AM. Was perfect for a concert night at Philips. Didn't have to fight the traffic getting out nor the weather. Just simply walked through the food court and took the elevator to our room. It was perfect! Valet parking is pricey and the elevators were slow/small. But those were the only complaints we had. Definitely recommend this hotel.
I'm the middle of everything and walking distance to almost anything you would want.
Rooms were very specious and the staff was extremely nice and helpful
Gorgeous hotel. Great location. Exceptionally friendly staff. Overall great experience.
Looks like they are in the middle of renovating. Will have to visit when they are finished.
Nice rooms. Very comfortable. Very large hotel. One can get lost.
Location is fabulous and front desk staff couldn t be nicer. Rooms are just okay. Room service was completely overwhelmed / nonexistent.
The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back to stay the next time we visit Atlanta.
Wonderful experience from staff in all departments. I was there for training and this hotel was in perfect walking distance from both Marta rail system and the AmericasMart. Awesome city view from NorthTower side of the hotel. Definitely coming there again and highly recommend it. Would give it a 5 star but base of sink faucet leaks water around the countertop when turned on and some areas of mold on the ceramic tile in the shower.
We checked in after 9 pm.It was an uneventful stay considering the check in time and just a night's stay. The location was the greatest asset ( interesting views- CNN location and the Aquarium.) The rooms are comfortable and big. This was my 3rd stay.I would love to go back.
Very nice room with a comfortable bed. The staff was helpful and were always ready to lend a hand. Have some cash with you for tips.
I was there for Momocon. The hotel is always nice and well kept. The staff are always helpful and friendly.
I would not stay at this hotel it is very dated not up to par internet is not free just nothing amazing with this hotel for the money that you're spending no microwaves in the room very very dated
Even with a lot of people around, we were still able to easily find food and a place to sit
Wonderful wonderful place. Getting into the drive is a hassle , but worth the stay
Great place to visit and somebody's always there to help
Excellent location, service is good. The elevators do not work properly and the room keys stop serving constantly
Wonderful service! Can't beat the location either!
Staff was great, very nice and helpful. Unfortunately, rooms are out dated (old stained carpeting looks horrible). Elevators have broken buttons and failing light bulbs. WiFi and TV had horrible connections and constantly lost signal, making it hard to get any work done on my trip (this really set me behind). Would really recommend another venue for a business conference's in the future.
Beautiful hotel. The rooms were nice and the rooftop heated pool, although small, was nice since no one was in it when we wanted to swim.
The room was clean and comfortable. The water pressure was great. It is a very large hotel with two towers, so if you get lost easily this is not the place for you. The valet service and bellmen we're on point. The stars of this place are the staff. I was treated as a special guest despite the fact that I booked through a third-party website. The building is walking distance to several major attractions in Atlanta.
Wish we could have gotten an upgrade like Ryan but I guess it's who is checking you in. She was very professional but not a person that makes for conversation. There was some type of water problem but we were moved instantly. It was our 1st anniversary being married and overall was a great experience. We will probably be back with the kids this time this weekend or the weekend after next
This complex is wonderful. If you are looking for amazing night lights and city view, you have to see it from the 12 floor Centennial Park side. Quite a beauty. This hotel has it all. The room was nice and comfortable. The staff was very attentive. We were there for our 20th Anniversary we got surprise wine and sweet tray in our room when we returned from dinner. Everyone was great. We made reservations to return in 2 months. Love our city.
I like the food court at CNN center because of the nice seating setup, vibrant energy of visitors, open and bright atrium and the numerous food choices. Relaxing atmosphere for a restorative lunch break.
Uncomfortable beds, dirty & old rooms. Only redeeming quality is the restaurant and bar.
The tour was very good! It also answers questions. It only takes about 30 minutes, so you may want to go along with other attractions.
This hotel has everything pools, restaurants, spa, food court. It's a big beautiful place.
I was there for meeting. The breakfast foods served were quite tasty.
