Very nice, classy hotel, but a little cold, no atm...

Very nice, classy hotel, but a little cold, no atmosphere
Very nice hotel, good location and excellent service! I would go back without hesitation.
Great location! For Times Square, Central Park, Grand Central etc. this is a great place to start your day.
There are some things that could be improved upon in the rooms. Size of the bathrooms, drawer space and no coffee maker. For the price of the room these could be better.
Really great staff, good sized rooms (by NYC hotel standards), & great location. Will definitely stay here again!
Good location, the service is not very good but in general it is a good hotel.
Wonderful hotel - within walking distance to Central Park, Times Square, Broadway, Metrol rail and the beautiful shops of 5th Ave. Service, comfort and cleanliness were all top notch and the facilities were great. Will definitely stay here again.
The room was clean and well look after by cleaning staff, one bellman was very helpful and friendly that works late evenings.
All other staff rude and unfriendly. Don't expect any customer service or warm welcome during your stay.
There is a cafe across the street but you will get creeped on (I couldn't go back my whole stay as I got creeped on so badly), there are a couple of breakfast options 5 minutes walk but I found it an awkward location for dining.
You have to request a mini fridge as they are not in each room
Concierge is rude and unhelpful, so avoid
Traffic is really loud, you will hear cars honking repeatedly all night as the windows aren't soundproof and it's it's on a busy road
All in all it was fine but overpriced for the experience and I wouldn't recommend it.
Great service. Decent rooms. Could use a few more amenities at the price point.
Amazing experience. Super friendly staff and amazing location & rooms :)
Impeccable service
Very friendly and attentive
Fantastic location close to Central Park, Times Square, Rockefeller Center and not too tough of a walk to Empire State Building. We had a great experience here from check-in through check-out. The folks who work the doors are awesome and always had great recommendations and made you feel like a priority. Shout out to Lenny specifically. I also had some post check-out issues that were handled timely and politely by Mr. Beltran which I appreciate on so many levels.
Omni Berkshire takes care of you from start to finish and even after if need be. We will be back.
Nice, modern and clean hotel. Decent lounge / bar for a few drinks and a bite in the evening. A bit over-priced for 4 star hotel, but better than the Waldorf
Great stay and experience at the hotel. The staff gave the best of assistance at my arrival, during my stay and my departure.
Very dissatisfying experience. The staff I had contact with was beyond rude.
I was accused of smoking and will be charged a cleaning fee. I DO NOT SMOKE!!!
They proceed to say the whole floor smells and have to deploy Ionizers to clean the air.
I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED SUCH A MISTREATMENT OF A CUSTOMER.
I feel sorry for non New Yorkers having to stay here.
STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE! I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
PS. TV's are outdated, Remote wouldn't let me change channels.
Staff was very nice, the room was perfect, and the amenities are great. Plus location is perfect.
Great location, clean room, friendly staffs.
Many independent cafes around. Steps to shops on fifth and central park. Enjoy our morning coffee walk to the park. The hotel is fairly clean and organized, nothing negative to point out; except we got stunk in the elevator once but hotel engineer got us out within five minutes.
I would stay here again, very decent hotel accommodation for your money.
Great location, updated rooms. Elevator is creepily old but you can't ask for much more from this hotel.
great hotel in a great locatio - combining work and pleasure
I Dropped someone there, and the curb side service was, and has always been handled well there.
Fantastic stay. Service was outstanding, the staff was first class all the way. I was well taken care of and very comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone coming to Midtown Manhattan. Excellent in every way.
Omni Berkshire
This is our second visit to this hotel and a different experience from the first.
Staff was friendly and efficient at check in. Our status with Omni is Black and has been for several years so perhaps our expectations are a bit high but a couple of the things we just take for granted were not there. We were not offered a room upgrade, we had to ask about the amenity that normally just shows up, and we had to ask for the door tags to get our complimentary morning beverages, again we are a bit spoiled by Omni with these perks and I would prefer to never have to request them.
We had multiple holds placed on our account that no one could explain.
Our room was right next to the elevator and we could hear all the conversations in the hallway, they were doing some kind of work on our floor and it was loud enough to wake us up in the morning.
Internet was spotty this and the TV kept freezing.
The hotel is in a very nice location, close to Rockefeller, and a reasonable walk to Central Park and lots of shopping. Our previous stay here a year ago was perfect, so I only would hope this was a fluke.
I am most impressed with the care and service of the people who work at the Omni Berkshire. I have frequented this hotel for many years and when I return each year the staff remembers me and the times I visited with my grandchildren.
They are so warm and inviting and make you feel like a welcomed guest in their home.
Awesome location. Great intimate service and love the select guest loyalty program perks.
We loved the location and the spacious rooms. Definitely returning in the future.
Great rooms, super clean and spacious. Close to everything. Amazing service, especially Lenny the Door Man. Every morning he greeted us with a smile and helpful suggestions for places to eat and sites we might enjoy. I was very happy with my stay at the Omni and will stay there again.
The staff at the Omni made this trip to NYC so much better then we could ever have imagined or pulled off ourselves. From beautiful and historic accommodations, to personal dinner recommendations and reservations made by staff, sound advice for navigating our trip to unexpected midnight desserts arriving at the door with a handwritten note from staff, this hotel
exceeded all expectations. I would recommend this hotel to anyone passing through the city.
Great hotel. Very clean, great hospitality, great service.
Nice hotel. Large rooms. Nice closets.
However, a billing mistake took too long to correct while checking out. A manager had to be involved to fix a simple double charge. Also, I received a note in the room for free coffee and a garment press, but I could not use it. I was told this was for "next time," which did not make sense.
Very clean. The citrus water in the lobby is a nice touch
AWFUL CHECK IN EXPERIENCE.....The Hotel said our room was NOT AVAILABLE.......................
EVEN THOUGH IT WAS PREPAID....then, to add gaul, assigned us probably the lowest rated room in the hotel. IN SOME 60 YEARS OF TRAVEL WORLD-WIDE....THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE.....DISGUSTING
Amazing Service and Great Hotel restaurant!!!! We stayed there for Thanksgiving eve 2017 and my husband and I were very impressed how attentive they were with their guests. The first night when we arrived, shortly after there was a knock on our door and surprised our kids with milk and chocolate chip cookies...The rooms are very nice and there were so many little detail touches that made our stay very comfortable and inviting. I will definitely consider staying there again maybe around Christmas, because the location is fantastic.
Service was ok but definitely an old-fashioned hotel
Nice location , very large rooms with a wonderful service!
Nice location, nice rooms, bit on the smaller side but it's NYC
Billed as a five star when we booked. I'd say it was a strong 3 star. Staff were lovely though. Needs a refurb.
Excellent location with friendly helpful staff. Clean comfortable, spacious rooms and offers real value for money. Highly recommend.
Never again do I book this hotel. When we wanted to check in at about 2.30pm, we were told that you have passed our two hotel rooms, which we booked and paid 6 months ago, to the united nations. They had informed Expedia, but it was not forwarded to us. The staff did not help us a bit, that would not be her, but our problem.
We would not book this hotel again, as there are other hotels with much nicer staff. After 5 hours we could check in another hotel.
Wonderful hotel. Well-kept, centrally located and spectacularly laid out.
I was not the one who made the reservation so I didn't know what to expect but when you have three people checking in and there is only one towel in the bathroom doesn't sound like they are on top of the game .... No amenities no fridge no microwave ... But the atmosphere was very friendly.
Very friendly and welcoming staff with great amenities. I had my room upgraded for free via Amex. Will definitely stay here again.
Such a classy hotel. The staff is wonderful. We won't stay anywhere else. Great Military discount. Omni is a great company.
Super attentive and professional staff. Excellent location to stay convenient to most of the city. Fo yourself a favor a eat at Bob's
Great hotel in a great location. Check in was not smooth.
Great hotel very well situated and extremely comfortable rooms
Rooms are a good size for Manhattan. Staff very helpful. The hotel will press two shirts for you free of charge every time you stay!
Met clients there for a business event. Small lobby, but was a good venue for winning deals
Nice rooms. The bed is a little harder than I like, but it's ok. The room is a great size, with a desk and nice view. There was a problem with the tub draining slowly, but it's not that bad.
I used to always stay here when I was visiting New York. The staff is super friendly and the rooms are very nice. I'd definitely recommend staying here!
Perfect location to almost anything. Staff was amazing!
Very friendly staff clean room great location under 5 mins walk to Rockefeller center and about 10 mins walk to central park. The deli opposite is great as well thanks for a great stay.
Great staff and clean rooms. Treated well ! Highly recommend trying Bob s steak and chop house!
For the price I expected more amenities, in and out of the room and I did not feel my room was clean.
great midtown location, friendly staff, fitness center was a bit crowded
This place is off the hook, if you ever want to visit NY and you're looking for a hotel, this is the place to be. Service was excellent, very friendly staff..
We have just returned home from a 5 day stay at the omni hotel, it was absolutely amazing, great staff, great location. Lovely clean spacious rooms. We loved it that much we will be returnimg next year
Good location but the rooms are in need to a facelift!
This hotel charged me an additional >300$ for no reason despite booking through HotelTonight which I then needed to dispute through the credit card company. Review your statements after staying here.
Great location, incredible breakfast, the rooms are slightly outdated, but clean!
Room was clean and very nice. Hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. Would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the city.
We booked this hotel through JetBlue Vacations and chose it for it's location in Midtown. Right at 52nd St between 5th Ave and Madison, you can't go wrong! Everyone we encountered at the hotel was great. Very friendly and personable. As we were leaving and sharing that we were returning to LA, everyone gave us their condolences over the Dodgers loss to Boston in the World Series (they could definitely feel our pain). The only reason for the reduced star is that for the price we expected a fancier room. I was travelling with my wife and daughter so we had to go with the 2 beds and they were very small. No room coffee maker was also a surprise for a high rated hotel. Other than that, the location and the staff definitely make this hotel a recommended choice for your stay in NYC.
The location is great, the hotel is currently going through renovations.
Love the omni, always and great place to stay for toy fair
We only had one hitch. We planned to stay for 3 days and asked to extend it to 5 days on arrival. We were told to come back the next day because at that point the 4th day was full. The next day our stay was extended. However, on the 4th our key did not work. requiring a trip back to front desk to get it fixed and then on the 5th day the same thing, a trip back to the front desk to get the key renewed. For two 86 year olds this was a lot of extra steps.
Nice room in a great location with friendly staff. Only stayed a night but given the price nothing extrodinary about the hotel. WiFi was $15 which cost them a star in my book. Will likely stay again given they were cheapest in class for the area.
Wonderful location for all first time visitors to the city!
