Trump Soho Hotel Review

Close to West Village, Chelsea, Greenwich Village. Unobstructed views of the city line.

Overpriced hotel for bad service, called the front desk for twenty minutes and no response. Stayed here on my wedding night and was extreamly disappointed with the way I was treated upon check out.

Not good compare to the other 5* hotels in other countries. front desk staff excellent. please get away from 11th floor as it is right above the kitchen and also double check your bills

The concierge was very accomidating. Love the pool and poolside restaurant! Rooms are beautiful and our view was spectacular!

Very pleasant. Room a lot larger than Soho hotels, and 2 sinks.

Modern hotel and rooms are more spacious than most NYC King rooms

Not a big fan of Trump. I think that most of his properties are too over the top. This hotel does have great service, but I would say the atmosphere is too stuffy. The location is very mediocre and the rooms are VERY over priced. The hotel, like many in the Trump portfolio, has been running into some issues. I wonder why...

I have booked this hotel for two weeks.
Positives:
Great location. Room was nice and clean and the bathroom was pretty big.
Negatives:
Front desk (reception) staff were not polite. Every time I approached them, they would not acknowledge me, being busy with their phones/computer, unless you call them out.
My room was on the 11th floor, and pretty much had no view, as my window was blocked by another tall building. Although I had booked a long term stay, and I asked for my room to be changed, the front desk staff refused to do so.
No shower facilities at the pool, which is pretty unhygienic.
Overall, this is a good hotel, but at this price, I would take my money elsewhere.

Luxurious hotel in the middle of SoHo. Handy to the subway and access to the hotel's SUV made getting around easy.

I've had a few business meetings here at Trump SoHo and it a great spot. The hotel is in a great location, close to everything you really want from a stay in NYC. Not my favorite hotel but definitely worth a try next time you are in the city. You will not be disappointed.

I stayed at this hotel for a 3 night work event. I enjoyed all aspects of this stay. Beautiful rooms and a wonderful staff. Rooms are amazing and the location is great as well.

Large hotel rooms, clean, friendly attentive staff

The lobby is pretty but the rooms are so small for the price. I expected a better experience but the even the staff seemed so disconnected from the customers. We couldnt get a map or decent recommendations for dinner outside of the hotel.

Quite possibly the rudest hotel front desk staff I've ever encountered in my life. Only after my departure did I find out that the hotel has a storied past. I would avoid this place.

There was so much deferred maintenance in our room that I can't imagine how the hotel thought it acceptable.

I don't want to go into details as it is still very unpleasant and gives me tremors, but suffice it to say, I dread visiting Manhattan now.

We carefully chose the hotel based on the AAA Five Diamond award. We are very, very surprised by the horrifying experience. It is as if they are a completely different hotel.

Very good service but the at the Room was very small . Very expensive place The view was extraordinary.

Great service. Rooms are nice . staff is pleasant and helpful. Bed mattress is very uncomfortable (soft and uneven).

the uber luxury hotel in downtown soho, quality and service are their forte. the pool bar on 7 is possibly the hottest trendiest place to sip a cocktail south of Bryant park - talk to Frank for a deal and enjoy

It s a shame that I can t show the pictures of my room here...He had the worst treatment ever in this hotel, our room was not clean at all, we had to wait until 5:30 pm to get the room cleaned.
The sheets and the robes were already used, we founded a hairs on the bath tube, all the furitute had the a lot of dust, we also found a trash back of the cofre machine.
Because we reserved through Jet luxury they told us they could not give us another room. They even gave us a late check out.

So no matter if you pay 600$ a night.

This hotel is fabulous with underpriced rooms in a beautiful location in south Manhattan with views that are extraordinary.

If one desires to be more south in NYC, this is an excellent spot. A short walk to Soho, Tribeca, Westside, and finance district.

Just a wonderful place to stay.

Now this place was amazing the service and the rooms set up great..beds are SUPER COMFORTABLE.
THE doormen are extremely helpful. One almost broke a ankle assisting us. Lol. Location is Great soho gem.

It is the best hotel in Soho. Awesome view from the rooms. And the lobby is great. It almost feels like a Boutique Hotel.

I loved it, the staff was so nice and tended to my every need. The room service was unbelievably perfect and its just so nice of a hotel.

I had dinner at the Mezzanine. I was one of the first guests for dinner. It was the slowest service I'd ever experienced. Every step of the way took ages. Then, when I finally got my burger, it was bland and unseasoned. They forgot to put dressing on my side salad. My server didn't check on me to ask if my food was ok. I had to ask the bartender for my check. I'm never coming back.

Great Hotel. Great location. Gabrielle at the front desk was so nice and she was so accommodating. Doormen were amazing. They really went above and beyond to make sure your every need was looked after. Merrick was wonderful! Rooms were excellent and clean. Turn down service was great they gave water bottles and fancy chocolates every night. Staff made you feel like you were a VIP. Highly recommend this hotel. . One of the best hotels I have visited in NY. Room service is 24hrs. Has a pool to help you cool down after a long day. Has a great view of Manhattan.

I love this hotel and have stayed here many times. The rooms are large and beautifully decorated. I also love the location that is next to excellent shopping and restaurants. It feels like home each time I go back.

I attend a business meeting. The staff was extremely helpful in setting up my laptop for my presentation. They had a very nice breakfast laid out for us and the meeting room was very nice. The hotel is very nice and i would like to go back to stay as a guest.

Just checked in but so far so good. The reception was very professional. Rooms look nice and plenty of plug ins for working professionals or people that just want to plug in a lot of electronics!

Do yourself a favor and don't stay here. The pictures that they have online are not at all reflective of what the rooms or the views are. Absolutely not worth the money at all. Shon at the front desk is the fakest personI have ever met, he was not at all friendly or helpful in any way. And all other employees look like they would rather be anywhere else in the world than working in this hotel. The only exception is Richard, he helped us with our bags and he was actually helpful.

Room is spacious in NYC standard. Next to a subway station and Traders Joe's. View is fantastic.

Hotel is phenomenal, great location with amazing views. Highlight of it all is the amazing concierge team, Eric and the whole team really helped make the stay even more special, would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in NYC, I will definitely be coming back!

Trump SoHo is the epitome of luxury hotel meets condo living. The rooms are modern and set up like a condo suite. The marble bathroom is chic and modern with a large tub by the window and a separate shower. This is definitely one of my favorite luxury hotels in downtown NYC. It is located in SoHo with many great boutiques, restaurants and bakeries nearby. The Dominique Ansel Bakery, inventor of the famous cronut, is just down the street. Live it up and enjoy your stay here!

Was there for business the day before Halloween. Bellhop was friendly. Lots of gorgeous women around.

Great hotel. Just as expected. Friendly staff and very clean. The surrounding neighborhood is nice too. My room creaked a bit, feels like a small earthquake. Like wind or the subway? But no biggie. 16th floor. I'll come again.

Service was terrible. I was told that it was busy because it was a holiday weekend. In my opinion, that does not excuse an iron taking an hour and a half to get to your room, or breakfast taking an hour and a half. If you cant handle the volume and need to sacrifice service becuase of it, simply dont overbook what you are capable of handling. Additionally, the menu prices in the room are not the same prices that they attempt to charge you upon delivery, so beware of this deceptive practice, and always double check. Simply put - 5 star price with a 1 star rating from me. I do not mind paying for quality service - in fact, i thoroughly enjoy it. This, however, was not quality service to say the least.

Beautiful room, location was very convenient, only complaint is the exorbitant prices for the minibar, but that is every hotel. Highly recommend the Trump soho

Trump SoHo is a fantastic hotel in a great neighborhood. The Spa is probably one of the best in NYC. The staff are professional and go out of their way to accommodate all needs.

Great location in the Soho area. Service was great, and the room was much bigger than expected considering it was a NYC hotel room. I would definitely stay there again.

I stayed here in August 2019 and loved it. It was very very clean. The room was bright and had a excellent view. The hotel lobby smelled super good and the staff were very generous. I had a wonderful time. I was looking to stay again this year, but since of Covid-19, my entire trip got cancelled.
