Good and speedy paper work but very long distance from landing places till passport desks

One of the best airports in world. Easy security checks and easy go emigration. Top class and friendly staffs all over. Keeps clean and neat always. Rest rooms available in large numbers. Superb lounges.

Beautiful and orderly place and has places for prayer and drinking water and has free baby strollers

Closed for visitors. If you waiting for some passinger should stay and wait outside airport building

New airport but the services are horrible. Web check in passengers still have to stand in the long que.
Counter staffs so rude to the people who are being send away on cancellation.

Very nice , clean, friendly staff. Mosque and ablution area is very neat and clean. Indoor smoking area. Toilets are very clean. Good atmosphere.

At departure time the plane was not even at the gate. Can happen. But they gave no notice at all to the passengers. Not at the screens, nor verbal. and that even though 6 personel are just loitering around.

This brand new international airport is really a very good and modern facility in Muscat. Compared to the old airport, this is leaps and bounds ahead in size, facilities and comfort.
According to an official the old facility is not functioning anymore and is not a part of the new one. 3 long arms of the building connected centrally buy the hub like space provide for the departure gates. A decent size of duty-free shopping area keeps the transit passengers busy.

I liked it a lot. Very friendly airport staff and security personnel. Shopping a bit on the boring side, I wish there were more local shops not just what you can get everywhere else.

Beatiful airport! You will not be lost if you have a transfer flight in this airport. The signage are big and so clear. I love the design inside the airport.

Overall good experience...One of the most impressive, efficient and clean airports in middle east , Newly Constructed International is extremely spacious,huge parking slot. Easy to access public transportation.

They dont upgrade this terminal because in few weeks maximum months they will get new Terminal really top! This one is working but feels little bit older. Toilets are not so nice. Dutty free is crowded. To the airplane even Oman Air planes You go with the bus. I am waiting for new terminal!

The elegant overall aesthetic of the airport including the seating is thankfully!! in keeping with the background desert landscape. It would have been better though to make more expansive use of natural lighting.
Downside: Oman Air immigration ground staff could be better organised and professional, Interestingly, those of the coast background were helpful, but the Arab female after saying "I'll get back to you , just wait over there" disappeared without informing her incoming colleague which delayed our 'processing' for over an hour! Then, there was a 35 minute wait for the taxi, at the taxi stand!-after completing security checks from the "business class" section. The hotel had great ambience and the staff were very genial . It would be a terrible shame if Israeli or Zionist influence was allowed into this charming oasis- it could so easily corrupt it.

Hello, please add to the map of the new Muscat International Airport instead of the old Muscat Airport

New airport is pretty large and offers an easy check in with so many counters.spacious and has many coffee shops and restaurants inside it.

Still needs improvement in assigning gate numbers for issued boarding passes.

There are many shops, and the location of the lounge is easy to understand. On the other hand, there is definitely a shortage of waiting places near the entrance gate, and I think it will be difficult to become a hub airport as it is. I would like to see people overflowing in the corridor without any particular troubles and think of improvements.

Had to say pretty well managed airport.also good looking too.not as compared to dubai but u can say its well made by its design.

Airport is very beautiful and staffs are very friendly and all cordinations are very professional especially Omani officers. Free wifi available WhatsApp calls are banned here, this is one of the main international airport in Oman. Overall experience is good.

Newly built, well designed and maintained. But the worst airport when it comes to immigration. No system. Lots of flights are landing and only 2 officers in the immigration desk. Stood for 3 long hours in the queue. Should change this procedure.

The new airport is quite big and has almost all the facilities needed.

Nice airport with good places for recreation. Nice coffee shops. Had less time for my transit so couldnt stay longer but enjoyed the stay there

It is one of the best airports i have been to. Lovely and comfortable seating for travelers. Clean bathrooms. It's a lavish airport. They have free wifi. Prayer hall and smoking zone..Excellent customer service..Everone will love to visit again..

An e-ticket is requested at check-in, but the Japanese version is refused.
Prepare e-ticket prints in English.

One of the nicest airports I visited was very nice with great services

Last year I was in Muscat and I was surprised by the ugliness of the airport. I returned this year because I made a stopover and I discovered (I did not know) that a new airport was inaugurated. Be guys this airport is really a beauty from all points of view. Very modern and full of shops of all kinds. The only flaw, many shops with the excuse of the coin you care, or with the exchange or with the rest. However it is very expensive, paid 23 4 pseudo cappuccini, eye.
