Huge exhibition centre, near Central London. Many famous exhibitions have been held here.
Its vast....lots of food places and space for the biggest of trade shows
For Ideal Home Show and London and Film Comic Con - Venue a bit of a walk from nearest tube stations (except Olympia on weekends) Cafes in venue a bit pricey for what they are, Crussh is the most reasonable, with Pizza Express attached at one of the exits. Can get a sandwich meal deal from the Tesco on the main road if budgets are tight. Venue is nice an airy with enough normal and accessible toilets for the crowds. It can get a bit confusing with the number of halls, crowds and stalls though.
Always have a good time at the Ideal Homes Show, great venue and the Olympia staff work tirelessly keeping housekeeping standards up.
Dated space a actually quite difficult for tube travel
I visited the Luxury Travel Fair in early November and in conjunction with that The Antiques Fair and the Spirit of Christmas fair too. Getting Olympia is not always easy - no direct tubes operate on week days unless its a bank holiday or the event is 'big' enough... On exiting the train station immediately opposite Olympia there was no visible signage to the Luxury Travel Fair, I eventually found it tucked neatly around the corner leading to the other side of the building. When I called into the organisers office to mention this and suggested it be put in a more visible position there was little enthusiasm from anyone to get up off their chairs to do anything about it and indeed it was in exactly the position several hrs later when I left the venue.
The Luxury Travel was interesting but to me had a surprisingly small number of exhibitors. Those I spoke to were helpful and eager to assist and hopefully I will be able to make use if the information I garnered from them.
The Antiques Fair was interesting to browse around - I wouldn't have gone there for just that event but it was interesting to see the art, sculptures, porcelain and a lot of jewellery.
Like Excel there needs to to be some control on the refreshment prices... far too high for a captured audience. Visitors can go out and re-enter, which is what I did, but exhibitors might not have time to do that so costly in-house refreshments are unreasonable at events like this.
Lots of space for conventions, could be better good options on though.
Big place for events and very organized. It was great at Infosec 2019
Helpful staff and large area for all their venue and well organized.
We go here for Walker stalker and lfcc, always a great experience
Huge exhibition venue. Nothing wrong with it. It's an antique aircraft hanger. All down to what's inside.
Open and airy venue. Lots of places to eat and drink inside
Great venue for a beer festival. Easy to navigate, clean and plentiful facilities
Great event venue with loads of transport links. We even managed to get parked locally (on a Sunday) for free! I've been here for various events over the years and they are always well organised and easy to navigate. My only criticism was that the event hall was very very hot!
Anyone interested in antiques would like this exhibition
A great exhibition venue in central London. I have been to a few events there now and is always amazed by the space and light. It s a very flexible space allowing it to be tailored to each event. Only down side is that all the cafes in the venue are fairly pricey.
Easy to locate exhibition centre. Check which entrance you need. Baron Street train station only 10 mins walk.
Visited for the Great British Beer Festival, the biggest pub in the world, so can only say this is a cavernous undercover space graced with the requisite amount of toilets. The beer festival naturally has every type of beer and food you can imagine.
Not impressed. don't get me wrong, I'm here as a carer and the staff are brilliant, but 2 wards needing somewhere to sit is just unavailable. there are posters saying we want to be a world class venue, but l not even getting the basics right is a pretty poor show.
I liked it saw the Fine Art Fair very good Olympia is good for exhibitions and events
Great conference venue. Very efficiently run. I only wish it opened earlier. Happily the cafes nearby are excellent retreats for early birds!
Was a long way to get there, but once you've arrived on the tube it's literally right by the station. Went there for a Japanese convention. Nice bright venue, was one BIG room and noticed the balcony going all around the edge. Lots of toilets, easy access and nice architecture. Wish we could've stayed a bit longer to explore some more.
Good event, but food out lets just 2, ticket price a little high for such a small show. Not a lot of stalls, not really happy that there was not much on offer.
Visited Ideal Home Show with a complementarity ticket. Only one house to look round. I only go to look round the houses & every year there are fewer. If it's the Ideal Home show surely there should be Ideal Homes shown!! When I used to go in the 70s there were 4 or 5. Sorry won't be going again.
Beautiful exhibition space with high ceiling and lots of natural light. 3 halls, but one is at the back and doesn't have natural light. Only downside is no drinking water in the restrooms and all traders are ridiculously expensive...
Great venue and easy to get to with good transport links
Great venue, tube just around the corner (when there s events on) so easy to get to
Over the years I have been to many exhibitions and events at Olympia London in Olympia Grand, Conference Centre, and Olympia West. Most recently I visited the Just V Show which was great. Lots of vegetarian and vegan foods and products including body care and options for those with allergies. As usual the layout of the exhibition was attractive and easy to manoeuvre. Olympia London always has a good range of quality snacks and meals for visitors. The venue is easily accessible by public transport and its always easy to get you badge when you prepay.
Great space for exhibition went to the Destination travel show, well organised. Space to wonder and food options
Really great events center in a prime location outside the Kensington Olympia station
Easy to get too and building easy to navigate. Polite staff on the doors.
I have been to this venue a couple of times now. Beautiful building lots of space on offer for event to use provided the event plans well. Never had any trouble finding the venue and once inside very easy to fine your way around and find all of the available amenities.
As I m interested in business, this venue is like a cinema to me every new event is like the first screening of a famous movie. Meeting people from all over the world with very unique events such as wine fair, halal festival...etc and most of them for free.
Great venue with good public transport links.
Be warned! Take your car at your own risk. Traffic can be horrendous after venue doors have closed.
Attended the Ideal Homes Xmas show. Very busy, not many food stalls. Quite hot, the other shows are better value. Toilets good.
The venue is adequate, but it depends on what site you are visiting
A lovely, huge venue. Facilities are nice. Food and drink is very expensive, and ATMs charge for use, but these things are (unfortunately) expected at such a place. As an event venue it is a great place to visit.
Once again really good place, loved the beer and the arena was massive. So much space.
It did the job. It was difficult to find an entrance, the atmosphere was odd and the staff at the entrance quite unfriendly and unwelcoming. I came for an event I'd paid in advance for. I won't come again. The NEC has a much nicer ambience.
These are the baby feeding facilities at Olympia. Either in a toilet which was dirty and had a wet floor or in a baby changing room. As the baby changing room was busy I had to sit on the floor to breastfeed my baby. Pretty awful facilities!
Great venue but scandalous food prices even for London
Great exhibition centre I like the ideal homes exhibition , it has loads of space and has restaurants and cafes, a cloack room so if you don't want to walk with your bag or jacket you can hand it in till you have finished, Great place to visit depending what you going to go and see
Enormous place, I have been there when it hosted the Walker Stalker:I had one of the best experience of my life
Regardless of the event, I always find the architecture of this place amazing as first time I saw it.
Great event Hall, attended the Great British Beer festival here and its well equipped lots of toilets so no queue.
Pleasant venue, ticketing (Knitting and Stitching Show) was a bit shambolic. Food was brutally overpriced of course. Venue staff were friendly and the location is handy for the train.
What can I say ? It s a building to hold shows in Very nice.
Great Venue. Went here for the Great British beer Festival. 5 stars every time.
Exhibition centre located not too far from Hammersmith. Good size and layout.
Busy place, could be better sign posted to the main entrance
Its an interesting space due to the events that happen in it, but I feel like it's often underutilised or not used creatively enough.
Annually we go to the Ideal Home Show Christmas Edition, it never disappoints!
Easy to get to by public transport. Well layed out. I've always enjoyed events here.
Great location for attending events such as The Cake & Bake Show with lots of space. Excellent travel routes via bus or underground located right across from Earls Court Underground station. Good disabled access with an area to drop off & collection.
Really fascinating and bright venue. Perfect place for IMATS :)
British home exhibition was rather poor will not waste my time going next year
Events venue near West Kensington. Came here for hyper Japan and the security system outside is really a joke. How could it take so long to get us inside if there s hardly anyone waiting. Other than that it s okay inside, not the biggest venue or greatest event. Also felt that the tickets were overpriced.
I went here for the 2017 Great British Beer Festival on Saturday 12th August. I was expecting in to be busy and too crowded due to it being a big event and it being a Saturday, however I was impressed that it wasn't. I was aware that the Olympia is big but I wasn't expecting it to be THAT big. So it didn't feel too crowded despite there being a lot of people at the event. I will definitely go back next year.
Good Venue and the ideal home show was great. Got some great ideas for the garden and the house.
Winter Art and Antiques Show - beautifully curated with elegant displays, yet friendly and unstuffy.
Great as the show is, we both believe the show needs a little zing and inspiration. The lady whom selected the companies certainly made some good choices but could have been a little more dynamic to push out the boat a little more. Some companies were selling the same items, one really wishes to make you feel you would love to have that in your own home. Sadly, if this continues Olympia might lose one of the best shows for home ideas.
Amazing place really good fun for all highly recommend
Love the show... my son start walking in Olympia London. It was heart melting moment for me n Mrs
It is a lovely bright place for such an old building.
Ideal home Christmas
Very easy to get in and out, well staffed. If you like Christmas decorations then you probably need to go here. If you don't then best avoided. Simple
Free tickets available all over the place so don't pay too much.
such a great venue for big event!! if only can provide faith room, would be more welcoming and accommodating...
Ideal Home Exhibition. Went specifically to look at living room furniture such as display units, matching tables etc but sadly there wasn't any. Lots for dining rooms. Also great if you want your eye photographed to hang on the wall. Lots of food and accessories. We did find lounge seating we liked. Would have preferred more furniture as it is getting harder and harder to find, not so easy to buy online.
We have been to The London Horse Show at Olympia for the past 10 years and it never disappoints.
As the new venue for the Classic Car show, expectations were high and as far as access, layout and the exhibits were concerned, it was great. Only problem was the lack of food and drink outlets. From what we have seen at previous shows, the refreshments are always expensive but here, they felt very dear. Some extra seating, at more of the outlets, would be useful.
Wonderful location for big events in West London. Don't try and get there by car. I do hope it is not redeveloped for housing!
Attended for The Great British Beer Festival. Huge hall ideal for this event. Well run and worth a visit.
Ideal home show is my favourite. We do go every year
Very good security and service supporting event that had very knowledgeable contacts
