Felt more like Singaporean/Malaysian food which I love. Yum.
Felt more like Singaporean/Malaysian food which I love. Yum.
Friendly staff. Good food. Some delicious vegetarian options. Dark restaurant.
Good location. Ambiance is great. The food is decent and the wait staff are great too.
The food isn't bad, but it's mediocre, and the prices are steep. I wouldn't recommend this place when there are so many better ones around.
Food is mediocre, nothing special, don't know what the hype is about.
Service was off the charts, thanks to Aaron. Had lamb korma, which was not the usual bits-in-sauce kind like Indian, but rather "reconstructed" as a whole lamb leg, a large carrot, a potato, herbs, garnish, and sauce. Sounds very boring but it was truly outstanding. I will definitely eat here again.
The room is so dark you can't read the menu and see your food. Food is good, a little bit too expensive.
An excellent thai restaurant that resembles fine dining experience but its not. Great food, fantastic ambience and especially during covid - they do have more than 6 feet distance between the tables.
Food is tasty, portion size decent but restaurant is a little bit on the expensive side( hence my comparison to fine dining- where you pay more than $100 yet come out feeling not complaining satiated )
Parking is behind the restaurant, so dont freak out if you can t find any on the street parking spots
The steak is too salty. Probably because I m not used to that much sauce on it... The dish seems expensive, but kind of worth it given the size of steak. Tried the other dishes that my friends ordered and they were very good. Will definitely go again and try different options on the menu
The food was incredible! My favorite was the (Roti?) Bread Dip. The bread was crunchy on the outside and flakey on the inside. The sauce, was the best part. It was so creamy and flavorful, ugh I could just buy a gallon of it. The chicken curry was also very good, the chicken was nice and tender and the sauce was amazing as well. Definitely coming back.
Great spread and wonderful taste. Amazingly fresh and love to dine again.
I had really crummy seating - right in front of the kitchen door. Food was delicious but sitting in a dark dining area and having flash bulbs of kitchen light assaulting you the whole time is not fun.
food was all right. Not enough flavor. Indonesian food doesn't have enough spice. The atmosphere was nice. Good crowd.
Food is very delicious and the place ambience is beautiful. Must check out.
LOVE this place. I go here aaaaall the time. Wonderful Asian fusion menu. Try their hangover-cure lemonade. *****
The food is quite delicious. Entrance is kinda awkward but it doesn't change the taste of the food. I would recommend to other friends.
Went here for the pre-fixed dinner menu for New Years! It was pretty decent it met my expectations for the most part
It was a bit noisy but that's because of the full-house. I enjoyed it and would consider coming back in the future
Very tasty food, nice atmosphere. Definitely a little noisy.
I had the salmon. It was just the right level of spiciness combined with some tanginess. The mango salsa was a great accompaniment. I enjoyed the overall experience and would come out.
This is the worst restaurant I have ever been to. Their service is horrible and the employees and staff are rude and extremely ignorant. They give preference only to walk-ins. The online orders have to keep waiting for hours and they look at us like we are not worthy of eating their food. This is the worst I have felt at any restaurant so far.
Awesome atmosphere. U can choose outdoor or lounge. Great appetizers, steak and ribs
Really nice ambience for a date night. Food was also nice. A bit overpriced though.
Amazing food and good service. I love coming here. Highly recommended!!
Checked out this place a few weeks ago with my wife and we will be coming back. Their food is simply amazing, they had a vast menu and the service was excellent.
Good Singaporean and Malay dishes. Friendly staff, and a good wine and beer selection.
Service was stellar, food came quickly and staff was on point. Thumbs up. Only downside was how loud and crowded it got
Chicken Pad Thai and Roti Prata were both great! The two sauces that came with the Roti Prata were perfect. The thai chili sauce that came with the pad thai was a nice touch as well given that I LOVE spicy food. The fast and outstanding service by Justin and the hostess was impeccable! My customers have repeatedly enjoyed Indo Restaurant's food for a number of years now and have never been disappointed. Mike, GM at Berbeda Place
Nice atmosphere, solid service, delicious food, reasonable prices. My meal took almost twice as long to come out as the others at my table, but our server did a good job of noticing without being asked and following up with the kitchen, so it really wasn't a big deal. I'd return if I'm in the area again.
Nice restaurant. Ambience is great. Foods was good.
Very interesting menu options and good presentation of plates. We plan to return. Had a nice time. Off street parking helps.
I took my family here twice for some spiciy asian food, and can't wait to come here again. The salt and pepper crab was delicious and really good price.
Get the roti prata appetiser -- flatbread with a yellow curry dip. The bread is absolutely sensational; buttery and flaky and chewy and just totally delicious. The rest of the menu is great too but this stuff is sublime and I've never had anything quite like it anywhere else in the world. Cannot recommend it enough.
Fantastic food and a great ambiance. Everything about this place is wonderful. The servers work very hard but I've noticed that during peak hours it can feel just a tad understaffed.
A trendy Indonesian restaurant with cocktails! I don't think I would come back to have a regular dinner here, but I would definitely come back for happy hour if I was in the area. It ends at 8pm and they have $5 cocktails AND appetizers. I loved the roti prata and the tuna tartare was good too. The entrees were all mediocre. I had the sea bass, the nasi goreng (coconut fried rice with crab for an extra $6), and sayur lodeh (seasonal veggies and tofu in a green curry sauce). Staff and ambiance was fine, but I wasn't wowed by anything.
Great range of fusion dishes. The cocktails are alright, and best of all the outdoor seating is great.
Went for a team lunch with collegues here once, the impressions were good. The decor is ok and food quality, taste and price are good. I would recommend this place to my friends
Excellent food and service.
I wish I had known when I made the reservation that they have a DJ on Sat nights even as early as 6:30 pm! It's quieter on the patio than indoors with the DJ, but because of the smoke from the wildfires and a fire on El Camino a few blocks away, I didn't want to sit outside. It was difficult to have a conversation because of the music.
I would expect that other nights would be quieter, so check ahead of time.
Didn't know about this place before our dinner there and was pleasantly surprised by the variety of food on the menu and how well all our dishes were prepared. The atmosphere was "hip", almost club like. Seemed like a popular and fun place for small group get-togethers.
Dinner outdoor on a warm summer evening with family
Excellent spot for delicious indonesian food. Excellent spot to spend time alone or talk business. I'll return with my friends. This place has a cool feel to it.
A great mix of asian cuisine along with a great bar
Lively, especially at night. Consistently good food (try the roti and the sea bass) and good service.
Very busy and popular, I just picked it off the web as I am dairy and gluten free right now . The food and service was great, the gluten free pita were the best I've ever had!
indonesian food and the setting here is super good. Dropped in on Tues. There was fast and courteous service.
Great food. There is room for improvement for service.
One of our favorite restaurants in Palo Alto. Great staff, service and Indonesia cusine.
Gorgeous layout and atmosphere, but the service was very slow and the food was uninspired. Not bad, but not good enough for a second visit.
Indo is a cool, peninsula hip, pan Asian place that is good for dates or business meetings. Food is good but venue is too large for my taste and gets too loud.
Great place to eat, waitress are very well trained and provides great service. One of my favorite places in Palo Alto for sure. Good for dinner or lunch
Food is good, drinks not so much. A very simple merlot wine is $25
Excellent Indonesian food. First time trying the place. Didn't go wrong with our choices of Papaya salad, Roti Canai and Garlic Noodles.
Indonesian food, so delicious. I was so full. This place has a cool feel to it. They have a lot of positive reviews for a reason.
Went here while I was in town on a trip, it's a great Asian-fusion style restaurant. I would recommend ordering 2-3 appetizers and 2-3 mains to share, family-style.
My favorite dish was the Roti Prata (served as a starter), the tuna tartar was great. We shared the Pan Seared Chilean Seabass as one of our mains and it did not disappoint.
The appetizer with curry was AMAZING the flat bread was cooked absolutely perfect. Friendly staff... Great atmosphere... All around great place to visit.
Nice and relaxing patio outside and nice decor inside. Plates are fabulous !
indonesian food here - very tasty. Got there near seven, it wasn't very crowded. There was fast and courteous service. The bill won't break you.
Great lunch menu: resonable prices (15 per meal), really good food for the price, and surprisingly large portions for being a "high-end" restaurant.
I had the salmon. It was delicious, and I was full after eating... which isn't always the case for fish at upscale eateries.
Great food & drinks! Staff was excellent. Decor and atmosphere was nice, but my only complaint was the feeling like I had to yell for my friends to hear me (it was packed on a Thursday). I would definitely recommend, but maybe better for 4 or less people per party.
We had a wedding lunch to attend here. The food was great, service was attentive, and the outdoor patio was spacious enough to accommodate everyone with ease.
Duck confit with pandan pancakes on the weekend brunch menu is delicious!!
Green veg curry was good. I wish if they had not put eggplant in it but something (anything) else would have worked. Vegetarian starter was also quite nicely cooked. Rice could have possibly be some other type as well.
They also have spaced seating arrangement (not cramped) with adequate heating units. Overall, a good experience dining here. Will want to come again sometime for sure!
A great place for a South East Asian fusion food. We visited for a party and everything we had there was awesome. Best part was our kids 2 and 6 also loved the food. The ambience, service and food all add up. The goreng tofu was simply the best tofu I have ever had!!
Happy hour is great food is decent, the roti is a must have. Servers, waiters, bartenders are all very friendly.
Excellent spot for quality indonesian food. got there about one, it wasn't busy. service is typically good. the place has a great atmosphere. food is like a restaurant in jacksonville i loved.
Went there for New Years Eve. The entrance is a bit confusing... you see the restaurant when on El Camino and but there is a locked gate facing El Camino. We initially thought it was shut... the entrance is on the side street. The place was quite crowded as it was New Years eve, so they setup outside seating. We were a party of about 25 but there were also other parties the same size or larger than ours. They had patio heaters but they were very ineffective where they were but after we complained they moved them closer to us and it was much better. The service manager was great, she gave us 2 expensive bottles of champagne to make up for the inconvenience!!
Anyway, we had a blast after that. The food was very good. We ordered satay chicken, rotis, calamari, poh pia. One of the roti was charred so they brought us another one. All of them were terrific. The wine selection was very good, we got couple bottles of the Mibrandt Malbec and the Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc - the wines were great but obviously don't compare the prices to retail prices :). Given the party we ordered almost one of everything on the menu. Almost every entree was good except maybe for one of the chicken dishes (forget the name now, had too much wine...). All of us had great fun and the service was good, no complaints. Would definitely recommend a visit.
Took a friend s recommendation by coming here - no regrets. Delicious food - will be coming back.
Good place with some interesting options. I loved the non-alcoholic turmeric drink and the bread appetizer.
