The service here was amazing. Our waitress explained to me how the lasagna is made to make sure I wasn't surprised when I got it. My cocktail was on point. The atmosphere is always enjoyable. It's always a good feeling when you bring new friends here and they enjoy it as much as you do.

Great food. Great service. We, 4 adults, made reservations for outside but realized with 3 grandkids 5 years to -6 months it is would be better inside. They accommodated us so graciously. Food was fantastic. Nick our server was amazing. We all had dinner with drinks and appetizers and it was $200. Too good to be true. Highly recommend.
This was one of my favorite restaurants during my visit to Arizona. Don't skip the mouthwatering lamb meatballs and bacon wrapped dates (loved the fresh bread and sauce with the meatballs). For entrees we shared the sea bass and sweet potato cannelloni. Both were delicious but I preferred the cannelloni-- the pasta had both wonderful flavor and texture. We were stuffed but had to try the house made gelato and the peanut butter pudding. I loved the dark chocolate gelato and the coconut- the espresso was just ok and didn't have the best texture. The peanut butter pudding was tasty but very rich and heavy.
Be sure to make a reservation as it can get quite crowded on weekends. We came a hoping to be seated a bit early and there was no space at the bar. Servers were quick and attentive. I was impressed by how quickly food came out even though it was so busy.
They microwave food. they did not prepare it fresh, all I would give them no star and I was very disappointed the staff was nice but she insisted the plates were really really extremely hot that it was coming out of the microwave it seems like it I noticed also the food is not that great some of it could be cooked days ahead.
A gorgeous restaurant with just the right ambiance to cover many occasions. Delicious food reasonably priced for the experience. Delicious bruschetta to start things off. Incredible appetizers, entrees, desserts complimented with a large wine and beer selection with delicious martini options so everyone is covered. Inside and outside tables available. Great staff, great food, great night
We really enjoy the location and the ambience of Olive and Ivy! The food is very good as well! I had the lamb gyro and the meat was very well seasoned and very tasty. It's not presented like a true gyro but more like a soft taco. I wish it would be more like a gyro but beggars can't be choosers. My wife had the Mediterranean salad and it has feta cheese and quinoa. We also had a couple of mimosas to top it off. Always enjoy going here and we highly recommend it to anyone who is visiting Scottsdale.
Very busy, recommend a reservation. Good food and drinks. Patio is lovely. They gave my friend a free dessert on her birthday, with a candle and written "Happy Birthday " on the plate. Would definitely go back.
They have a couple of salads that are killer! The salads are pretty much all I order when I go there. A little bit pricey but I guess considering it is in down town Snottsdale, they are reasonably priced.
Our party of 4 had a wonderful meal on Saturday. We dined on the Patio, and Erica was our server. She was exceptional in everything. GREAT service. Our meals we ALL outstanding as well. We will surely be back soon! Thank you Erica and team.
I've been to Olive and Ivy dozens of times on my visits to Scottsdale. It's a high energy bar/restaurant with great food and decor. Outdoor seating on the waterfront is terrific and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended.
My second visit to Olive and Ivy and again it didn't disappoint. The place is charming, the patio is one of the nicest spots to sit in Old Town Scottsdale and the staff are great. Excellent food and drink choices, a must visit.
Not vegan friendly. Our service was mediocre and it's very noisy. However, if your not vegan the food is really good also they were able to quickly put together a table of 10 for Sunday brunch. If you get the Mediterranean salad get the dressing on the side because it was a little over dressed.
Excellent Mediterranean eatery. Reasonable prices. The waiter indicated all dish's are prepared on site. The Gelato definitely tasted as if it was made on site, it was delicious. The Ravioli certainly tasted and presented itself as a More
Always a great place to dine. Good food, great ambiance and service. Reservations recommended, though not as busy as it was pre-covid. Covid protocols in effect.
One of my favorite restaurants in Old Town! The staff here are absolutely amazing, and I have never had a bad experience! Always friendly, kind, and willing to go above and beyond expectations to provide excellent service! Brandon, Calay, Nick, Amber, Zak, John, Meca, Jake, Stefan, Dan, Zane, Jeff - YOU GUYS ARE INCREDIBLE! Every time I walk in the door, you guys are like family! (Sorry to anyone I missed!) Been coming here for years and of course the food is always ABOVE & BEYOND just like the service!
All of my friends and family that I bring in always feel so welcomed and rave about the incredible service. Thank you all so much! Olive will always be a top pick for me and anyone visiting from out of town!
While the food at Olive and Ivy gets an unequivocal thumbs-up, I was very disappointed with its identity confusion... is it a restaurant or a nightclub
The festival-grade pounding beats pummeling the space from the bar's DJ will make you wish you came before he set up, or for lunch instead. Most frustrating, requests to lower the volume were met by a professional, but uncaring staff... their response was "sorry, we're not turning it down." The tables are uncomfortably close together - we might as well have been dining with our neighbors. We were able to hear them shouting over the music about their discomfort with the experience as well.
Music? Fine, pick something that's compatible with dining rather than raves, and play it quietly enough that we can talk to each other. And what happened to intimacy? Space out the tables a bit more. I won't be returning to Olive & Ivy unless they decide it's a restaurant and make an enjoyable dining experience.
Loved our food. We got apps to share, entrees and dessert. Everything was either good or excellent. Our dessert was amazing... we got the butterscotch cream cake. It reminded me a bit of Gooey butter cake. Our drinks were good also. (The sangria was our least favorite of the ones we ordered but still good!) Nice atmosphere. Good service. Will go back.
We dine almost weekly within The Marketplace as it is more convenient (no waiting) and the service is crazy good due to the times in the early afternoon. The people watching is pretty darn good too. Love the menu offerings as well. Surprisingly, the salads were sub par on this afternoon and we hesitated whether to bring this to the attention of the Staff behind the Counter. Wonderfully though, the Staffer was quite genuine with her response and within minutes a Manager appeared. It was Nathan Ward and sans the details here, he could not have been more professional, genuine and loaded with sincere emotional intelligence with respect to making sure O&I could assuage the issue. Aside from actualizing this, it was just another example of the continual talent who end up in Management positions at FRC's. We have been dining at FRC's since North opened in Kierland a decade+ ago. We have gravitated to a handful of FRC's varied concepts since then. And with the O&I Team on queue, we will continue to patronize this wonderful Business.
Nathan T was an excellent waiter. He knew the menu very well and helped our table of undecided patrons find the meal that matched our personal taste. The back deck is a great place to relax and get a drink as well.
Great food, great atmosphere, great service. My wife and I have been coming here about once a year for five years and are super impressed every time! They deserve five stars for sure!
I am celiac and this is not the place to go. After calling and asking about the GF options, the hostess told us they could accommodate most fished to be GF. After arriving and talking to our server this was not the case- salads & fish entrees were the only option. Cool place but do not recommend if celiac!
I guess it depends on what your looking for. For the price I don't agree with the quality of food. They said they were having a hard time in the back of the house. Service was great and they made up for the food. I can't say I will ever come back, I don't like raviolis that taste like they've been smothered in butter. I'm going to try and save them with some marinara and baking them!
Good food and service in a fun cool setting. A large place which has a great patio. Both the food and service were tops. Nice menu with a Mediterranean flare. The food was really quite good from start to finish, an open kitchen concept also. I had natural chicken which was great, a half caesar also good. A short rib flat bread started it off.
Service was spot on and efficient and friendly. Love that too. Good value.
The main restaurant offers terrific fare and drinks in an upscale, but unpretentious environment that is great for catching up with friends or a date night with your s.o. My only humble suggestion is to add a few more local beers and variety to the menu. The Marketplace nextdoor has quick bites, ice cream and drinks. Try the grilled cheese. You won't be disappointed. Staff is always very pleasant, too!
Olive & Ivy is my favorite Scottsdale restaurant. It has the perfect mix of atmosphere and delicious food. I recommend the Mediterranean salad and a glass of red sangria! Sit on the patio if you can!
Really great atmosphere, very good food, but soooooo slow and they weren't even that busy. $14 hamburger, on line lunch menu was not the same as in restaurant menu.
This was a great find for a business traveler in Scottsdale. I just decided to stop in and sit at the bar and get something to eat. Most people were just sitting at the tables, but the bar area is a great spot in the restaurant to dine, and I would suggest it. The only thing I didn't appreciate was that the bartender wasn't informative when it came to suggesting menu items. She really didn't guide you as a consumer, she just kind of tried to make you pick something and would explain it to you. I asked one of the waitresses that walked passed me what would she suggest since it was my first time. She suggested the sweet potato cannelloni. So I got a half order of the Mediterranean salad and the cannelloni. Both were excellent. The atmosphere is a moderately lively social one, so all could dine there with ease. They have a wonderful outside eating area as well. Overall I would give this place high marks, and I didn't get to have their breakfast which I hear is great!
Olive & Ivy is a favorite of mine. Always get great service. Tried a new cocktail - Amalfi Sunset. I often find cocktails too sweet, but this one is very good.
Olive and Ivy is my favorite restaurant in the East Valley. It s consistently delicious, the staff is wonderful and I love the ambiance especially outside dining. We eat there regularly (pre Covid) and of course when we were able to dine outside again this was the first place we wanted to go for dinner. I ve taken out from there as well and I ve never been disappointed. We take all our guests there and everyone always loves it. No complaints and only the highest praise from me.
Hip vibe without being too hip. A beautiful location. Good inventive food. Prices are reasonable considering the location. The Olive & Ivy Marketplace is a real find for a pastry and coffee in the morning.
