All about the setting! Extremely friendly and helpful staff as well.

First visit this weekend. Everything was great; service, food, patio, price. Will definitely return.

Very nice place in old Scottsdale. Food is good, I had a Rueben sandwich.

Spectacular atmosphere, killer food, a great wait staff. This was an all-around good experience. I recommend this for anyone who's on date night or just wants a good experience with friends.

One questionable experience originally dubbed a fluke inspired two separate visits to Olive and Ivy's Scottsdale location. The first, littered with poor etiquette, leaking ceiling appliances & lack of judgment pertaining to rate-of-plate changes. I'd like to elaborate on our first visit to Olive and Ivy. Located in vibrant Old Town Scottsdale, this venue attracted us due to its proximity to other (what was understood to be) cutting-edge locales. Think; garden southwest concept complete with Western fixtures, soft lighting & full-canopied patio + firepits.

The beginning of our experience with Olive & Ivy began on a sour note. Reservations made in advance were overlooked & dishonored as we stood at the hostess stand. Its ceilings, leaking residue from a neglected AC unit. Further lead away into the dining room, by staff looking for every excuse in the book not to seat us at our reserved table. Questionable service aside, Olive & Ivy did succeed in design concept. Gorgeous, open dining room layout complete with visible kitchen, as well as plentiful outdoor accommodations. Patio seating was selected during both visits at this location.

When dining at Olive & Ivy, pay mind to the fact that this venue requires consideration due to its questionably trained staff. Do not expect tactful or gracious accomodations, as there is a marked and evident lack of training. This was further affirmed when plates were taken from our table- utensil in hand. Unbelievable, further demonstrating a poor understanding of dining etiquette.

Selecting from each section of the menu list, our first order arrived incorrectly and was corrected within a reasonable time-frame. Arrival duration was moderate/fair for what was ordered and our table was tended to periodically in bouts. Quality of menu items to value ratio were unremarkable, listed at moderate/high-moderate for what was received. Both experiences at Olive and Ivy were unremarkable considering proximity to other cutting edge venues. Factoring service into this equation coupled with leaking ceiling appliances rendered unforgivable. 2/5 - service standards incongruent to surroundings, poor social etiquette, leaking ceiling, incorrect order.

Never disappointed. Went back last week with my friends.

Worst service ever! Sat down and no one came for a super long time and had to call them over. Unreal... Way better places to eat than this horrible place! Don't waste your time or money here! Way overrated!

Had a party of 9 for Mother s Day dinner and had a great experience! Food was amazing, the patio seating was so perfect and Chris, our waiter was attentive and entertaining. Wish I lived here so I could be a regular.

It s like Miami meets LA. Everything, I mean everything was spectacular.... From the food to the service to the ambiance... a must if you are in the area. And the lunch special, $25 for a salad, flatbread and bottle of wine, oh yeah, if I lived here I would eat here everyday. The desert was to die for too.

Nice place to bring a date, and or family when they come into town or if you're just living here in Arizona it's a great place just to hang out and eat close to other shops close to the water can't beat that what a lovely spot #Scottsdale

I love this restaurant specially the outdoor section in the back. It is quiet, sunny and beautiful in our cooler weather. Food always good and fresh. Service is excellent

Decent place to enjoy a good dinner with colleagues after a long day. Food was delicious, I had natural chicken with Yukon potato puree, chicken was soft, tender and juicy.

Place was very busy even at 9pm , service was great and waitress was very helpful in suggesting right tasty food.

Very average tasting food with a heavy hand for balsamic. The pricing is exaggerated for the quality of food and the atmosphere is just busy. I didn't feel comfortable here and it would be OK if the food made up for it but it didn't. It trys to hard to be too many things.

Highly recommend the sweet potato canneloni and add the sausage! I have to say I have never tasted anything better in my life!

Great food. There was a server mix up but we sat outside and met some random people that were so nice!

Was excited to come back.. have dinner and Gelato walk around enjoy being outside... but no. Food was good but we went to Gelato bar on a sat it was busy and there was no Gelato . Its like having a donut place and no donuts. Why even have Gelato open with one tablespoon left in each bin. Come on Olive and Ivy... it can be frozen for next day... promise someone will eat it if you make it.

Excellent! Masking and distancing a must; safety first. Really fresh and yummy salads, nice wine and very cold beer. Safe bet. Enjoy friends!

I truly loved this restaurant , beautiful ambiance and the staff were all very friendly .
The food was amazing and reasonably priced.
I would go back and I highly recommend this place.

Have always enjoyed your restaurant , even today... but today my meal did not arrive warm. A disappointment of course.

Awesome service, and even better food. I have come here for breakfast and dinner, and was wholly impressed everytime. They have the BEST breakfast sandwich here, it has egg, avocado, cheese and I think mayo; all on a croissant and it is delicious. Also for dinner I usually get the scallops or the ribeye, depending on what kind of food you want; although everything I have had on their menu is amazing and I have yet to try everything but definitely will as I keep coming back to Olive and Ivy.

I visited Olive & Ivy with a group of friends for dinner while in town and will come definitely return.

Nice atmosphere, not too pricey, and great seafood.

Had a fantastic Mediterranean shrimp salad as well as the best peach Bellini ever.

I have been to Olive & Ivy many times, it is always good. They have a great outdoor seating area. The happy hour has great selections for apps & drinks.

My family and I visited Olive and Ivy for brunch. The decor of the venue was fabulous and the ingredients for the food was fresh. My chopped salad was delicious and my wife's poached egg sandwich was light and flavorful. We are heading back soon to try their dinner menu.

Very nice, good food and good service. May be a bit noisy for some folks as lunch was quite busy. Had a reservation thru Open Table, got seated promptly.

Loved it. Nothing special about the Calamari. The Bruschettas are really really good. Tried the mushroom and a cheese bruschetta and both were good.

Pretty nice if the weather isn't too hot and you want to lounge around in the comfy outdoor seating. Food is acceptable but nothing blew me away.

Beautiful restaurant with nice ambiance and great location, but the food and drinks were a little overpriced for what we got. My $13 drink came with more ice than whiskey.

Great place and the outside is really nice. A little bit pricey but the food is delicious and the portions are generous. The pesto bread was really good too.

You can't go wrong with any of the dishes. My husband and I like to try a new dish every time we go there. Great service! Definitely recommend this place.

The food was wonderful and a great atmosphere. My only critique is they promised us a lounge couch when we made our reservation and then we were seated at a different table. But overall the experience was great

All very professional, open kitchen and good quality food. Excellent assortment of beers and wines.
The pinsa was not to my liking but only because it is very far from our Italian canons, otherwise a good place to spend a nice evening.
For a chat better outside because there is little soundproofing inside

The food is prepared in excellent manner, the seasonings, spices, flavors are all just right of blend that work so good together.
The servers that wait on you so attentive and courteous. The setting is so comfortable, depending on what you are needing. A restaurant that really knows how to serve their customer. One of my favorite and all worth the drive. Never disappointed.

This place is awesome if you want to go to lunch or dinner with a large group of people. They have an awesome great room for special occasions. Their food is awesome and wait staff are super friendly.

Enjoy one of the best patios in Scottsdale. The lunch menu is a little sparse, but pretty tasty. I usually go for dinner so the prices are more reasonable during the lunch menu. It was a birthday so we got a free dessert. The staff was pretty nice although our waiter was pretty persistent until we ordered.
