customer service is absolutely horrible. every request takes hours to complete, sometimes never. when I got locked out of my room and requested assistance, no one showed up for an hour. when I went to the front desk, no one had been sent to begin with and had to get it myself. when I requested another item and they said they will do it right away, no response for an hour. place itself is nice, just don't expect anything from hospitality

Very nice resort. We went to. Wedding there and the estate was very nice. It is a bit large so be prepared to walk around or drive between your village room and the main mansion grounds.

Bad restaurant experience. Food was mediocre but expensive. Views are undeniably beautiful. Waitress who was from another country was curt and unprofessional. She refused to let us open up our umbrella on the sunny terrace while other patrons had their umbrellas open. (I actually opened the umbrella when we first sat down and she ran over quickly to close it and scold us). We baked in the sun and was embarrassed by the poor treatment we received. It wasn t even windy at that time. It was so bad that we ended up eating dessert at the bar downstairs just to get out of the sun and hopefully find better treatment.
The Great Gatsby would have given OER five stars! The Crosby Mansion at Ocean Edge Resort exudes the elegance of a bygone era. Accommodations, dining, and water views are great.

Great location and great place to have vacation. You can see the high tide and low tide on the same day. The see goes back about 300 feet (about 100m) from the beach on low tide.

CAUTION The current Groupon ad shows the Resort and not where you will stay. Also a better name is the Bay Edge Resort since it is on Cape Cod Bay not the ocean. Guess the deal was too good to be true
Dated, sprawling resort that isn't nearly as nice as it looks at first.
Been waiting two and a half hours for the keys to our place and have barley heard anything.
Based on off-season room rates guess we should have expected off season service. Disappointed nonetheless based on a past stay. Both at registration (short staffed, waited over 5 minutes for staff to get off phone to check us in) and at Bayzo's Pub (the only resort restaurant open early October at 7pm. Very limited choices). Didn't seem as short staffed, but staff working couldn't handle a smallish crowd... maybe 20-30 people between tables and the bar. After 5 min a waitress said that from the high top table we were sitting at we should order from bar. Kiss of death. I wont go into detail, but after 10 more minutes we left to try our luck at a local tavern down the road.
Fun time, restaurant on the top floor is better than the one in the basement floor.

Nice place to be for a romantic New Years. Walls a bit thin (lotta bed knock and squeak action next door). Indoor pool and workout area good for resolutions. Rooms nicely decorated, the staff treats you with respect.
Attended my niece's wedding. Resort rooms we're great, well decorated and designed to feel luxurious and spacious. Wedding venues we're eclectic but worked well. The only complaint is not enough bartenders. Needed 1 or 2 more for dance party.
Absolutely amazing resort. Rooms were so spacious and comfortable. Good decor throughout the resort. Private beach made for an extremely relaxing stay. The ocean terrace restaurant was also a great experience being able eat while watching the ocean at sunset.
I work for a portable restroom company I was there picking up the toilet and the place was kind of dirty
My company had a 2-day offsite here and it was really great. Conference room setup was excellent. Food was great, particularly the variety of offerings to suit people with a variety of dietary requirements and preferences. Guest rooms were spacious and well maintained. The fitness center is fairly small but the treadmills and elliptical trainers are modern and well maintained. The indoor pool was clean and the water was a very comfortable temperature. The staff was super-friendly and accommodating. Overall an excellent experience.

This place was very beautiful and very well kept and clean. Everyone who worked there was very nice and accommodating. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. We definitely would recommend it, and will be returning.
I stayed in the Villages. The rooms looked nothing like it advertised. The room was very dirty and I paid extra for pond access which meant a dirty asphalt path that led to my door. Oh, thanks for the patio furniture so old and dirty you couldn t even use. The bathroom had sand everywhere and the shower head was full of mold. Gross!!!! The carpet was discussing and there were bugs everywhere. The furniture inside looked like it was purchased at a flea market and was in disrepair. I also was shocked to learn and was not informed until arrival that if you reserved in the villages you could not access the private beach or beach bar. Seriously this is why I booked the resort in the first place. I will never come back for that reason alone even though I received an email a week before the stay highlighted this as an activity. Honestly, I should have demanded a refund for the entire stay!!!!
FOOD POISONING RUDE MANAGEMENT!! Went here for 10yr anniversary, first night ate at the roof top restaurant and we got sick in the middle of the night. Let manager know and he said tough luck! Met other guests who got sick as well. Customer service his horrible, unfriendly staff which needs serious training in hospitality and dated rooms with dirt everywhere. Not worth the premium price they charge, find a better option around. Not recommend!
We had our wedding here, from start to finish, we were treated like Kings and queens.the staff are wonderful and so attentive, and clearly care about their work. It shows. The grounds are gorgeous. Atmosphere is awesome. the bars available are fun and open late. Very happy with our time there!

We stayed there over this past Labor Day weekend in the Villages which I must say was very nice and picturesque. The grounds were beautiful.
My concerns and disappointment stems from us staying there for 2 nights and housekeeping never coming to our villa to tidy up. I saw them in other villas and coming and going but they never made it to our villa. Secondly, when we arrived our refrigerator wasn't working. The villas have a full kitchen so we brought up some groceries which needed refrigeration so I immediately called the front desk. They sent someone right away and after swapping out a part and working on it for 45 mins, he got it working. What I didn't like was that he waited around for a tip from my boyfriend. We are generally great tippers but neither of us felt we should tip for something that should have been working from the beginning. The guy literally just stood there and wouldn't leave, to where my boyfriend had to thank him, shake his hand and usher him out the door. About two hours later the lukewarm fridge starting making humming noises which it continued to do off and on for the rest of our stay.
I must say again, the grounds were nice with many things to do but I'm a bit surprised at the lack of housekeeping and the forwardness of the technician.
Upon arriving at the beautiful mansion, my reservation was confirmed and I spent time at the lovely Arbor pool and bar, waiting for my suite and keys to be prepared. And after those came, I inspected my suite, in the Arbor neighborhood. It was not very large, but it accommodated all of my needs quite nicely. I spent time at the beach, a perfect white sand stretch of coastline, and had fun with my family in the warm yet refreshing water. And afterwards, I retreated to the pool. The condos are in close proximity, to an amazing seafood/fast food shack, JT's, where I had lunch. And to top today off, I had drinks on the luxurious mansion patio, a massive Roman styled extension on the main building. The service was excellent. All in all , I can't wait to start another day here. 5/5 stars.
Gorgeous rooms and grounds, lots of amenities, and lovely staff members!
Ocean Edge resort and golf club is one of our favorites spots down at the Cape. Their ocean terrace on a sunny day is unmatched for a casual drink venue in the area. The golf course is my particular favorite in Cape Cod and one of the best I've ever played. We will be returning at least once a season, probably more frequently.
If I could get married again I would have it here. Huge generous drinks, fantastic menu and the staff was very very accommodating.
Attended a wedding, the event coordinators were confused and directed the guests with conflicting information. There was no one greeting guests or telling them where things were occurring. The service was on the beach in the broiling sun and there was no provision for shade. At the reception, the food was unremarkable. This place thrives on the merits of the appearance of the property only.
The location is beautiful with beautiful views of the ocean. The rooms themselves are well equipped with a kitchen and space for activities. The customer service was great. They cleared up a problem with our room so quickly that it didn't even affect us.

I stayed here and attended my close friends wedding. The wedding was amazing. Beach ceremony that was perfect. Food delish. Service was good. Atmosphere was amazing. Accommodations were good, but very expensive. We looked into staying on the mansion side, but that was way over our budget. We had passes to their private beach even though we were staying in the villages since we were there for the wedding. The following day we went down on the beach. I loved this part. An attendant carried chair out that they provided and anchored an umbrella for us. The best part, we ordered drinks and lunch on the beach and had them on the beach. I would have given them a 4 star for the high price, but it was so nice. The 1st night there we had oysters at the terrace bar while the sunset. It was a great stay and my friends wedding was amazing.
The resort is beautiful and has a lot of amenities, including a beautiful golf course. The challenge is getting used to the ESL millennials that are obviously part of an exchange work program. They are socially awkward and not well coached in the art of service. Good value but strange.
From the moment we checked in everything was great. The condo we stayed in was clean, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Dinner at The Mansion was truly 5 stars! Thank you to Elena Peterson for helping us to extend our stay. Highly recommend everything about this resort.
We just returned and were unfortunately disappointed. Our lackluster experience started even before we got to the room. Our room wasn't ready yet so they said they would call on my on my cell phone shortly. 2 hours (and past check in time) later, I called them to find out the status. The reply "oh, no one called you? That has been ready for you.". Okay...
The next day we arrived at the indoor pool early (8:30) as our kids were excited to swim. We were informed by the girl working that there was a swim class from 9:15 to 10:30. No problem, we'd let them swim for half an hour and get them out in plenty of time before the class. Through back and forths with her it became apparent she didn't want ANY kids in there between now and the start of the class in 45 minutes and she wasn't particularly polite about it. She then proceeded to chat with another young worker (both appeared to be eastern european workers..Ukraine perhaps...?) The impression was not a lot of time was spent on the customer service side of things prior to them working there for the Summer.
There were other similar issues but the over all effect was that we were not inclined to go back there. It was not up to the resort standards the we were hoping for at close to $400 per night.
Decent rooms with kitchen and washer/dryer and shuttle service around the rest of the resort, but a long way to any other restaurants if you don't have your own car.
I never even got to stay there! Booked a stay and heard someone there was tested positive for covid. We tried to cancel reservations and they never even called back. Very dishonest and very rude not to even call back. They had better refund us.

Beautiful resort on the ocean. Private beach, swimming pool, delicious roof top restaurant and the rooms were very well appointed.
The resort is very nice, but also seemed very expensive. I did not award the 5th star because the price / performance ratio did not work out. The houses are nice and you can relax well, the breakfast was the best on my trip, but it is contrary to the booking not included in the price, so ask at the exact point. Pool is ok, the beach is gigantic, for dinner we are always driven out to the surrounding hamburger / Fischstaende. that was always very good !! Whalewatching should absolutely belong to your program !!!
The nicest resort on the Cape. The town is so quaint. A lovely New Englad town feel. The golf resort and restaurant in the Ocean Edge Village is great!
I would recommend booking directly with the hotel and not through a third party like Groupon. This way you have a choice as to where in the resort you would like to stay. Also be careful, there are quite a few unexpected hidden fees such as parking and wifi!!!!

The resort was huge and had a lot of beautiful features. We toured it for a potential wedding venue and while it wasn't quite our taste it certainly had a number of great possibilities for a wedding.
