We just returned and were unfortunately disappoint...
We just returned and were unfortunately disappointed. Our lackluster experience started even before we got to the room. Our room wasn't ready yet so they said they would call on my on my cell phone shortly. 2 hours (and past check in time) later, I called them to find out the status. The reply "oh, no one called you? That has been ready for you.". Okay...
The next day we arrived at the indoor pool early (8:30) as our kids were excited to swim. We were informed by the girl working that there was a swim class from 9:15 to 10:30. No problem, we'd let them swim for half an hour and get them out in plenty of time before the class. Through back and forths with her it became apparent she didn't want ANY kids in there between now and the start of the class in 45 minutes and she wasn't particularly polite about it. She then proceeded to chat with another young worker (both appeared to be eastern european workers..Ukraine perhaps...?) The impression was not a lot of time was spent on the customer service side of things prior to them working there for the Summer.
There were other similar issues but the over all effect was that we were not inclined to go back there. It was not up to the resort standards the we were hoping for at close to $400 per night.
