great venue for gigs, good layout and apart from queues, easy bar access whilst not missing the show.

Great gig with Little Steven and the Disciples of Soul

I was a bit sceptical about sitting in the balcony as from past experience I remember it being pretty far back from the stage, and on arrival my memory served correct! I was however converted throughout the course of the night! We saw Shinedown supported by Starset and Press to Meco and they did not dissapoint!! The venue itself is old fashioned and very rustic! Toilets could use a bit of a clean up and revamp and carpets at the bar areas are sticky...but all in all a great venue for music lovers!

Been to many raves in here over the years, always had a great night, bouncers can be a bit cheeky and toliets are small but is a cracking place for a rave nite

Skunk Anansie were fantastic! The sound engineering team did a great job.

Worst venue in Glasgow. If your going get tickets for upstairs seating cos downstairs is a fkn shambles.

The sounds not great and the drinks are expensive but the crowd's always up for it

The worst music venue in Glasgow. Dreadful sound quality and a lack in d urinals have ruined all but a handful of the 20+ concerts I've attended in this horrible shed. Avoid, unless your favourite band us foolish enough to play here

My wife and I went to see Skunk Anansie here on the 31 of August. It was an absolutely fantastic gig. Skin hasn't aged a bit and was as energetic as ever. Would definitely go see them again

Shocking treatment. They had oversold the gig and no seats were available. The stewards were shocking and merely shouted at us to get a seat.We couldn t find any!
We were standing at the side on the walkway watching after trying
everywhere but unable to find a seat. The main act had started then the same steward started shouting at us.
It was diabolical. Before we knew it we were surrounded by stewards.
No matter what we said it was obvious they wanted to throw us out. They fabricated all sort of silly reasons from 'you pointed at a colleague' to 'you wouldn't sit down'. There were no seats!
We were harassed and bullied. The stewards agenda was evidently to get us out. We were only polite and courtious but were not allowed to have our point of seat availability acknowledged. We had no chance.
Eventually we both felt sick of the abuse and left.

Showsec Security bullied us out the venue. I have never been so intimidated.

I will never be back at this venue.

Great venue for music, was here due to fire at O2 ABC which I prefer. Just had a soft drink which is reasonable priced. Good service at bar which you need when place is packed.

Texting is not an appropriate way of communicating between monitors and front of house for my in ears mix. Came away confused and broken. Lovely Scottish people though and a very quick load out I must say

Miz Cracker amazing only issue was the really really long wait time. But I can't help but give Miz Cracker 5 stars.

Great place for live music but by God it needs a facelift. 3quid a coke though

Usually queue outside on the cold, it's an old Venu not really designed for the amount of people it hosts for so there are long queues for the loo and getting in and out takes a while.

There is disabled access and seating area.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Great venue. Only thing for me is the times I've been here, when the artist/band/entertainment speak the sound system seems very distorted and it's really hard to hear what is being said clearly.

sound quality varies depending on where you stand. if it's busy yr not getting near a bar or toilet at any speed. and if you do reach the bar it's the usual fizzy lager on tap. nice building mind...

While all standing, there is three levels of height, so good viewing all round. If seating needed, contact the venue for benches that are available at front of each level.

I went to see Alexander Oneal /shalamar never got the chance to see Alexander O'neal as he came on at 10pm i had to go and catch my last bus home to Edinburgh 1030pm so very dissapointed why did shalamar come on @8-30 the guy playing the tunes was rubbish he played for over 1 hour

Old Dominion were fantastic but the venue is in dire need of some refurbishment. The smell from the toilets in the balcony bar was enough to make your eyes water. Disgusting.

Good size venue, slopes at back so good view wherever you are.

Security staff are not very nice inside especially when VIP manager tells the guy in charge we don't need a ticket as he's checked us in but security guard says we do and gets someone to open the booking office!

Another fab gig in the fab venue... intimate & just so typically glaswegian!

Alcohol sold without question. People passing out and throwing up. Drinking to excess and drinks spilt on myself and my dad. Floor soaking wet from spilt drinks etc and dangerous. Ladies toilets dirty and swimming in water etc.

Venue has clearly been around a long time. We'll managed by staff on bar and security team lay out etc didn't give best gig going experience but staff were excellent and tried their best

Never had a bad gig here. Always plenty bar staff on. Always served quickly. No complaints at all.

I find it a great size for a venue of music and for my tastes: rock/metal. Looks cool looking up and the sound has always been spot on

Great venue that could/should be awesome. This place has hosted some marvellous artists from a broad spectrum but the sound quality can be quite inconsistent. The lighting engineer was on point at The Pixies last night though, superb visuals! My chief gripe though is the unnecessary bathroom attendant. It's not a club yet this guy hands you paper towels in the tiny access corridor to the toilet and asks if you can smell the p*ssy. It's really not cool. Other than that, great!

Not even shabby. Currently, its like listening to a cheap stereo, that's fallen on your, neighbor's damp garage floor. Great, great shame... as the music is best that the human race has ever produced. X

Superb venue, with excellent acoustics and Atmosphere. Would highly recommend this venue.

Good venue for live music. Sound is good. Standing downstairs and seating upstairs. Drink can be a bit pricey. Overall I'd recommend it

Went to see stone temple pilots. Great gig and love this venue.

The show was brilliant however everything else was a bit messy. After the pre show which cost a lot we were told we would be able to access the smoking area in roughly half an hour over an hour later we finally had access after the main show had started. Not acceptable

Get up really close to the performers. Bar is expansive though.
