Didn't like the confiscation of food and not having be able to get everything back, even though we told then everything that we had. However as I'm deeply disappointed in staff handling, the show we went to was great, the sound was good apart from sudden mic accidents and some of the staff were friendly.
Overall don't bother bringing food or drinks to this place, you will lose it.

Pit Staff amazing, need more signs outside about bag having to be checked in and priority open before main not at same time because take longer with priority letting you in. But lovely security and the way the venue is laid out makes this a great place to go.

Avoid this venue AT ALL COSTS! Never had an experiance like this in my life the place was a joke, majority of the bouncers thought they were in a WWE royal rumble match i was personally attacked because woman that were clearly sh*ging them said something to then and I was pulled in the back cloak room and attacked. I understand resonable force is allowed but 3 men attacking a young 18 year old girl to the ground confusses me and twisting my arm right up my back when i wasent resisting godknows! My first and last time in this dump! it looks clatty anyway should have trusted my instincts people do youselfs a favour and dont risk it.

Superb venue for live music. Not a huge venue (capacity of around 2000-2500) but great acoustics and clear views of the stage. This gives the gig a more intimate feel and gets you more involved with the performance than is sometimes the case at larger venues. Plenty bars inside the hall, all with a good view of the stage, so you don't miss a minute of the show. My only complaint would be the need for more and larger toilet facilities as the male one, that I used at the back of the hall, could only accommodate 3 people at a time. As a result there was always large queues so a strong bladder is required.

Ok venue as sound was good and set out meant decent view of bands. Downside was the tiny toilets which meant queues and the extortionate rip off prices for drink ( all O2 venues seem to have rip off prices) although service at the bar was quick and staff decent.
Also long queues outside to get in which meant missing a support band.

Great venue and great atmosphere. Never felt too busy or crowded despite (Skunk Anansie) being a sold out gig. Personally, I think this venue is v good acoustically too. Within easy reach of the city centre.

Whilst Nick Offerman was superb the venue wasnt good. Balcony seats were far too narrow, the bloke next to me was almost sat in my lap! Venue started warm but by the end of the 90 minutes it was sweltering.
I'd think twice about going to see anything there again to be honest.

Probably one of the best venues in Glasgow for a gig, the O2 is located a short walk away from Glasgow central station and a subway station. The venue has great acoustics and looks incredible. The standing area is more fun but the seated seats offer a good view too. They host a wide variety of music on a daily basis.

A grubby little venue space inside a beautiful art deco building. The place is tired looking & isn't wearing well. I would love to see it restored to its former glory.
There's 3 tiers in the standing area on the ground floor so finding a decent spot to see the stage isn't usually a problem, even if you're short.
The venue looks a bit sad these days & the atmosphere at some recent gigs could only be described as 'flat' - it's a real pity because I remember seeing some amazing bands there.
