The O2 was amazing I was there with my daughter Gigi to see Rod Stewart. The atmosphere was electric.
The O2 was amazing I was there with my daughter Gigi to see Rod Stewart. The atmosphere was electric.
Shopping center in O2 is nice, cool place to pop in especially when there are organize markets in square between O2 and North Grenwich station.
If you have never been, expect the unexpected. The O2 arena is much more than just a simple arena. There is an assortment of restaurants and shops throughout the outer ring of the arena. You can spend many hours here before your concert.
Depending on who your see but overall a really good place, looking forward to the next concert
Spectacular and amazing site. Not as historical as the other sites of London, but offers a new point of view. I entered inside the dome for a concert. It is so huge ! Has several shopping boutiques inside and restaurants. This dome offers many possibilities, including walking over the dome! A Must see place !
Good outlet store choices with some food and drink places. Worth visiting in the evening
Great concert with the exception of Eric Clapton and van morrison who had no interest in entertaining the audience!! particularly Clapton who just stood there doing his standard blues repeture!! Look at
me and how great I am on the guitar!!
Fantastic place for events. Big modern gallery with shopping centre.
Slippery outside. New shopping area, can do good finds there. Movie theatre and loads of good restaurants.
Every choice of food you want. Easy to get to and great venue to watch live acts.
Loved shopping in the outlet and with them being discounted stores you get more for your money... nice added extra to the 02 :-)
Fantastic place for food, drink and big concerts and events. Lots of variety should be something for everyone
Good atmosphere, plenty of places to eat and drink, good transport links.
Good selection of restaurants and bars, some shops and a cinema al available if not there solely for a gig or show. Transport links are pretty decent and there s ample parking on site (be warned it is pricey, especially on event days) overall it feels safe and looks well maintained.
Didn't realise how many more shops there were at the Icon, and as they were all outlet stores, the prices were lower than it would be in the regular stores. Got some really good deals, especially at the Lindy and Hotel Chocolat stores!
Clean environment. Mind opening view. Staffs very well behaved.
Impressive auditorium where every seat and standing position has a good view, spoiled by woeful organisation. New security checks leave 15min-long queues in the retail lobby where they are more crowded together and therefore more vulnerable to attack than in the auditorium itself.
The dot matrix sign telling punters how to prepare for security checks is out of synch with what the security staff ask, causing argument and further delay.
And the bars are staffed by people who have been poorly trained. That's not their fault; it's a management failure. Drinks run out, tills crash, prices are higher than the Dome's summit.
I recommend that you (a) come to the O2 only if you really want to see the act you're booking and you can't see them elsewhere (b) you arrive 20min earlier than you intended to clear security.
Review based on visit Saturday 30 Nov 2019.
It was my first time to the O2 for a show and it was amazing. I absolutely loved it. Me and my partner went with some friends to see The Hugh Jackman show and I really enjoyed it. The queue to get in was a bit long so try to get there a bit earlier. And the queue to get into the train station after a show was long too. But that's normal with the amount of people that fit in there. There are also restaurants and bars and a small shopping mall upstairs. Really good.
Ask you to go too early. Once through security you are on your seat for at least an hour. They then let loads of people come in late carrying drinks and food a interfering with the warm up acts for shows. Pretty drab really.
Could not fault the facilities, professionalism of the staff here or anything else, really impressed
Great venue. Can get very crowded when a gig is on. My tip would be to use the TFL carpark by the jubilee line entrance as cheaper than event parking generally
Good for entertainment n food but always crowded.. not for couple n quite evening
Great venue well organised considering the 18000 people capacity. Partnership with AXS a bit annoying as their app doesn't always deliver, leaving you minutes away from your show wondering if you will gain access. The 02 as a venue has a great food hall with plenty of restaurants to go to , make sure you go before or straight after... That is if you are quick because 18000 people leaving such a venue is quite an impressive sight!
Went bowling here with family/friends for a welcome/birthday party! The ambiance of the place is amazing and there are nearly endless opportunities to choose from. All the way from bowling through cinema, shopping and dining out. A great place to spend time with your loved ones and/or friends and relax! Highly recommended!
Great place for shopping now together with the cinema and events are always good. Just a shame that parking is absolutely astronomical!
visited here to attend the boxing.
place is huge!
loads of good food places to eat. security is top notch getting in. drinks are expensive but this is to be expected with the venue. comfy seats :) level 4 is very very steep as pointed out on the website
Easy access by public transport, plenty of restaurants to choose from, very well organised events venue.
Alice cooper average at best should have been a smaller venue but enjoyed the o2
Jimmy's best value and excellent choice
Parking expensive but still a good night out with friends
The O2..... It's a very spacious mall...had a great experience especially French fries n burger in Five Guys...it's just yummy n customer service was nailed...guys who r serving are happy go lucky & I'm sure five guys will make you visit again n again... A part from this....lot many coffee shops... restaurants...& I found this pic as epic
....in the mall TV's since decades....& the other pic was from on top of air cable.... fantastic view of London eye....the shard..London bridge etc...one must visit...cheers
Indigo at the O2 is a great venue for music as long as you don't want to drink! They could have done with more bar staff, it took 20 minutes to get served
Mama Mia the party was really well organised. The venue looked just like a taverna with a central fountain & Starlights in the ceiling. The food was better than expected & plenty of it. The entertainment was brilliant. Despite the high ticket price it was an excellent experience.
Brilliant venue let down by the price of drinks inside the arena, the slowness of service there and the very limited range. Apart from that, excellent.
The choices available are incredible, both for shopping and eating. The shows are always top notch
Amazing, security friendly, helpful . Frankie n Bennies great food n drink. Brilliant Venue.
The O2 is an arena like no other. Lots of things to do in and around the arena.
Was easy enough to get there by the Underground and leaving after a show wasn't that bad in terms of human gridlock.
Great site, good array of shopping and eateries. We had a lovely thai meal, few beers, went shopping, deposited our bags for free then went to see Alter Bridge all without walking halfway across the world like some shopping outlets.
Great place to visit on a rainy day take in a show ,why not visit nearby bourgh market at the same visit.
Good acoustics and seating arrangements. But seats are a bit small upstairs..
Easy to get to from our hotel. Lots of places to eat. Although it holds thousands of people, you don't seem to be that far from the stage. Lots of friendly staff members to ask. Leaving after the concert was very easy and well organised. Would definitely recommend this place.
Attended the performance by Rita Ora, superb show. Staff as on previous visits are friendly, helpful and professional. Extra thanks to the assistant in the main merchandise shop, who willingly exchanged the t-shirts I'd bought elsewhere in the complex, for bigger sizes, which weren't available at the other outlets.
The venus cam pack one hell of an atmosphere. The cheaper seats are not for the faint hearted given the height and lack of rails. The artists visual impact was fantastic in that he managed to get so many people united. Drinks prices were terrible but an excellent open space and a good location for a good musical act
Nice venue but the bars are a joke. They need more staff and people who have worked on a bar before. Pretty poor compared to other large venues that have drinks ready poured and serve quickly. I waited about 25 minutes for a beer.
Went for a meal at Jimmys. Nice place to explore a variety of cuisines. Crowded on show days, but night night out
Could be better. There's only one main exit so distance is far
Easy parking, everywhere was clean and our boys really enjoyed Kicktown and Trampolining.
Great place to hang out lots of things to keep busy for a few hours
Visited O2 for a concert. The venue is gigantic and seats that are at the back are quite far from the stage. I was at the 104 section and the view was good, but would prefer slightly closer to the stage. My recommendation would be to aim for seats that are on lower levels. The highest levels are really high and far from the stage.
The sound was good, no problems there.
In terms of when to come, if you have a standing concert ticket, then come just before doors open to get a good place.
Also the merch stores outside of the venue run out of popular sized quickly. So better go through the security into the arena as soon as possible. There is some merch there as well.
There is a roof covering almost the whole path from the North Greenwich tube station to the arena, and it's really close.
Overall, would definitely recommend
Fantastic venue. So much to see and do with great shops to boot.
Can be confusing to find on google maps but if you just follow the signs it's much easier to get to. Huge place. Lots to do, bowling, trampoline, arcade, cinema, plenty of food but not that many halal options around as you would think
I attended the Hillsong youth conference here and it was spectacular. The atmosphere and staff are wonderful no matter which part of the O2 you are in. Clean toilets and excellent food choices available
As usual an amazing venue for a full on concert. Tonight Muse were at their finest. Glad we booked seats on the Deck in the VIP area. Gave a great view of the whole end to end stage.
Serene atmosphere, nice ambience and good people. Well located and easy access especially with the proximity to the train station. Red bus terminus is also close by.
Awesome place to be, bars, restaurants, bowling alleys, coffee shops, the cable car, you can even climb up on the O2, I mainly go there to see a movie at Cineworld cinema
The O2 is a magnificent venue for both music and sport. I saw the end of year tennis championship and with the added bonus of getting to watch Federer vs. Djokovic. The only downside is that I live on the other side of london but small inconvenience really!
Wow! It's totally changed for the better with the rest of it now open with new shops. This is perhaps the most perfect spot in East London for everything - live shows, gigs, cinema, food and shopping. Watch out for the parking especially More
Really nice atmosphere. Nice place to eat. Some outlet shops to browse and cable cars also really nice to experience
Took my kids for the first time, they luved it!! Disney on ice was amazing, the staff were all friendly & helpful. My only small moan was that I had my disabled mother with me & she struggled with how far to walk all the entrances were, I asked if there was any help available for her or a short cut to be told there wasnt. We came out to see another disabled lady coming out of a short cut while my mum struggled!! Excellent otherwise!!
I absolutely loved it at the o2 it was my first ever visit.there is so much to see&it looks stunning inside.the stairway is awesome it shines so brightly.there are plenty of places to eat&drink also plenty of clothing stores to spend your money I was mesmerized by it all.I always wondered what it was like and now i know I am so pleased i went there.I will be sure to go again on my next visit to london and i highly recommend it to all visitors
Great wheelchair access great service very friendly
Attended C2C at the O2 on Sunday and had a lot of fun, the arena is very impressive with plenty of options for food and entertainment, staff were friendly and helpful and the arenas close proximity to the tube station makes travelling from the centre of London a breeze! (a very affordable breeze at that)
Massive place with an excellent WOW factor! It's a good place to go with the family.
Good venue but poor hotel options nearby, preferred Wembley Stadium as a venue by some way. But then again there are good food options before the show. All in all good, but not perfect.
Always a great venue for a night out. Beware that the cheap seats are *really* high & far away. Take full advantage of Priority privileges if you are on o2 (worth getting a cheap SIM to pop in just for the queue jumping & discount drinks)
Great Gig, well organised- drinks expensive compared to other o2 venues
Cool venue for the really big events. There's also Indigo for the smaller acts. The Dome climb is an awesome activity to do. Not for people with handbags and flip flops!!
Still London's premier concert venue, full stop. Saw a brilliant performance by Kiss, the sort of show that does justice to the arena. Great sight lines, easy to get in and out of and the staff are friendly and well drilled. Plenty of places to eat and drink in the complex.
There for the Taylor/ Progeis fight. Very friendly staff, great venue, good view, very clean. Grabbed a burger in Byrons outside in the food court. Again , good quality and price. If they run everything this well, well worth a visit.
Great venue just small seats! Had a lovely time watching the ATP finals
The staff here were excellent. They took care of everyone getting to their seats and made sure disabled people were looked after. The shops upstairs are all expensive chains. There are no restaurants upstairs, only down. Worth paying extra money to get good seats, due to height of building.
Grate place to visit. Super atmosphere. I have really wonderful evening.
Nice location easy access plenty choices to grab a bite
Amazing Backstreet Boy come back tour best concert ever...still getting goose bumps. Love it love it.
Great venue but parking prices for events OUTRAGEOUS
Great show Strickly. We found the website very confusing concerning parking. My husband has a disabled badge. It said the car park was full so when we arrived we went to carpark 4,told to go to 2 where I explained we had a blue badge. It turned out the disabled parking wasn't full they keep spaces for people turning up on the day. Very cold in the O2, food and drinks very expensive.
was there for Muse concert and it was undescribable.
I quiet amazed by venue and also of course by Muse.
Its a real concert venue with enormous capacity, high tech systems, great acoustic, easy entrance, kind security and bar staffs.
All music lovers should experience this venue on their favourite music style with a concert.
Fabulous venue with great shopping and wonderful bars and places to eat.
Love the new designer outlet here. And the new candle shop selling yankie candles is fab tastoc. Something for everyone.
Beautiful place. Very entertaining, nearby cinema and restaurants.. Lots of areas to walk. Close to the Emirates line for the cable car.
Lots of places to eat and shop. Great if you're going to see a show or just want to browse the shops and eat
Truly intresting place to visit, usually a plave for meetups, concerts and events but there is also restaurants and pubs, caffees and other things aswell.
The dome also has roof access and outside is quite beautiful with strong colourful lighting from different advertisement screens.
To get over canal to the dome take the cable cars, its quite a few and costs around the same as a buss ticket maybe lower
I took my wife up to the O2, it was such a great experience. I can definitely recommend it.
Beautiful to its presence; a place of dignity come to your destiny once never seen before. An American, a strange encounter, a world of its own with great atmosphere a place to visit the views overlooking streams of joys and food never tasted like Mexican dreams. A wonderful lighted rich music moulded by a great sighs of places to relax, fond with the architecture of simplicity; a lifetime pleasure seeks it's routes of new builds across the realms of the other side of a unseen city. If only many knew some great places around its surroundings the international community would seek it's pleasure and create a vibrant and colourful flavour. A window untouched grattle by the winds of a day out, a rating I must agree with many more improvements under construction.
Went to watch the ATP tennis tournament. Almost fully booked, so could only buy seats at the top end. As I am a tall man, the seats there were very uncomfortable. They were very narrow and no leg room. I spent hours squashed up. The show itself was nice, it would've been a 5 star if it weren't for the seats.
Fantastic night out, great dining restaurants and outlet shops available. Venue was good, massive queues for toilets only problem.
Superb, exciting and fabulous place to visit and see
Love London
The O2 itself is just a venue, what makes it good are the acts that perform there. Last night my wife and I saw 'Florence and The Machine' as my birthday present. Florence is amazing, her voice is simply brilliant and not matched or bettered by many other artists, the show and atmosphere was incredible and I can't wait to see her live again.
Fab place, good food great show by the script.
Take the piss though on parking
O2 Indigo is an amazing place for live music, acoustics superb and top class artists.
Brilliant place to grab a bite to eat and a show. On the expensive side though.
