After Cevicheria, my husband and I wanted to test O Talho.
Cuisine totally different from the first but just as good! I recommend the picanha with its fine fries for the dish.
Very friendly and attentive team.

Bread and extras were nice, but delivered without asking and then that wonderful surprise (not!!) on seeing the extra costs for all the little bites is a pretty poor experience.

The sliders were excellent and the little wings with were delightful (the service and these were only reason for 3 stars and almost 4 stars, but you cannot rate a steak restaurant on it starters alone)

The steak was the biggest disappointment, which considering the restaurant, is why it is getting only 3 stars. Looking at all the amazing meat in the reception and to be served such a thin steak was so disappointing. To be fair, it was seasoned beautifully although a little overcooked for my liking (was more medium than medium rare) but again, was probably because of the thickness...or should I say "thinness" of it

A wonderful evening! The ambience is exceptional, the team very professional, polite and accommodating. The food is fantastic, the wines excellent. We will definitely come back.

Steak tartar is wonderful! Butcher's burger is equally good. Talho and Cevicheria wines are great options.

Restaurant Nothing recommendable, there are thousands of restaurants in Lisbon better than this one and if you consider the quality / price it is deeply disappointing.

When we enter, we smell the unpleasant corpse odor, the last thing you want when you have a meal. Additionally, we are faced with unfriendly and unprofessional service. When we go to "repast" they are faced with a tartar steak, which should be impeccable, poorly seasoned and badly seasoned. As for the service, it is little cared for and we almost have to beg the attention of employees. The dessert list is sparse and revolves around the banana ... What an unusual choice. Finally, the coffee is more like washing water than coffee spoons. Anyway ... Experience not to repeat, never again!

Great food and service! Tenderloin, Vietnamese spring rolls and the Burger were particular standouts!

I had been trying for a long time and it was a huge disappointment. We had reservation, arrived on time and had to wait 40min for table. We ordered the medium-bad meat and it came bad-bad. The knives didn't cut (something I don't understand or even conceive in a meat restaurant). In the end we asked to take the leftover meat (practically half of the most expensive dish on the list) and were told it was not possible because there were no containers for the purpose ... strange when at the entrance has butcher service out. This with a care that left something to be desired ...

Exceptional meat and refined and creative cuisine. Everything was delicious from cocktail to dessert. The prices are high (because the restaurant is quite chic, gastro / bistronomic). To test absolutely if you want to make you happy.

Although it is a very friendly place and has a very pleasant atmosphere, I thought that the value you pay does not correspond in the least to the quality of the dishes. I ate a Uruguayan steak and it was nothing special ... the best of all was the farofa ... I tried the Tartar steak that stood out from other dishes, but nothing more.

Very cool and modern take on Portuguese cuisine. I ordered the Pork belly and was surprised by the short size. They must have trimmed it down quite a bit. Nevertheless, the food was delicious, a bit on the salty side, but very nice. A little too expensive, but if your looky for a great wine list, it's the right place.

I confess that the expectations were high but they were low. I was expecting better service (a lot of inexperienced people) and a truly chef's kitchen. It is unacceptable for a restaurant that claims to be a chef to serve frozen french fries. I really don't recommend it.

I was at Talho in April 2017 and really enjoy the chef's tasting menu and service, returned November 2018. This place is gone way down, no longer offering the chef's tasting menu, the service was horrible with one of the bus boy's having a terrible body odor, certainly of my list in Lisboa

With so much of a hamburger restaurant, the ranking of the best burger in Lisbon is unavoidable and although the butcher has many more dishes, the burger is really the best in the city and its surroundings! The meat quality is stupendous, juicy, very tasty! Best of all, we can always buy meat at the butcher shop and take it home.

I loved to eat at the Talho on Rua Carlos Testa they served me willingly and I felt at home, from time to time I noticed that the number of employees and those who are working has diminished, note that they are tired and under great stress because there are so many people to be served and there are only 2 people attending to all. The food took a long time to arrive, make it as it was !! A pleasant and stress-free environment, you just need to put more people to work. It discourages me to come back whenever I think about eating there.

This criticism is not with the quality of the food or the service, because unfortunately I didn't have the opportunity to try it.
I tried to make a reservation for Saturday at dinner for 7 people and they indicated that as we were 7 it was not much use, not because the restaurant was already full but because we would "spoil" a place.
I understand that this kind of attitude does not match the image and the quality that is intended for the restaurant.

Did not like.
Five people at dinner, two of the dishes were cold. They tried to solve the problem, but instead of replacing the cold grilled meat, they heated it up and brought the same meat to the table. The meat, which was no longer tender, as it was heated, became dry. Inadmissible in any restaurant, much less with these prices.
Weak in the variety of appetizers. They only had Port, Madeira and Gin.

A pleasant surprise for a Sunday dinner out with my sweetheart. In a neighborhood that I don't usually go to in Lisbon cosy atmosphere in a comfortable space with careful service and an above the average food!

The food is very delicious, delicious. But it is extremely expensive, and does not offer anything new if you are used to the rich Spanish food. Lisbon is becoming impossible in prices.

It is unfortunate that the staff do not follow the chefs great personality. The front of house staff ruin my 15th wedding anniversary. When I made the reservation the chef happened to be at the desk and he mentioned that they would make it special. We were sat in the middle of the room next to the service station. I asked to move to another table against a wall as I have a difficulty with hearing sitting in the middle. Basically told me that is the only table or another in the middle. Even though there were clearly 2 other tables against the wall.

The service the rest of the night was not much better. The staff either do not like to speak in English or are stuck up. No one had a genuine smile or care. The standoff of the staff made me not want to sit and enjoy my night. All I ordered was a main course. Forget about ordering a nice bottle of champagne an appetizer or dessert.
