O'Hare Hilton Hotel Review

It was a late night check-in thanks to a missed United Airlines flight. Check-in was fast, and efficient. We received all the info we needed to know in the few.minutes is took the attendent to get us registered. Where to eat. Closest Bars. Check-out time. In the morning, showered, after a stressless night in a beautiful, roomy, room we.heased.down to get some breakfast. The restaurant was large and spacious. Service.was much slower than expected, and the portions were.small.considering the price

Valet guy drove in reverse on one way drive in front of the hotel(that's a traffic violation) when I saw him I stopped so we don't collide. Started to curse me out, walked up to my car(continued cursing) and spite on me! After police came the manager that the cameras in that area are not working.

Room was way too pricey for what I got but it was comfortable.

Service was great. Only went to the sports bar but it was smaller than expected for the size of the hotel. Also the hours for full menu service ended earlier than anticipated for such a prominent and busy location.

Staff was great from the front desk to the restaurant. I would definitely be back!

Nice enough but ageing. Bedding not comparable to other hotels. Uber can't pick up here.

This was my first time being inside of a Hilton's Hotel. I have to stay in Chicago because they was no flights going to the city of my destination. Due to that my Airline decided to accommodate me in the hotel. I was not impress with a hotel and it's old charm as you may call. They say they gave me a king size bed and it look more like a queen size with twin size pillows. And not only that getting into bed I was about to turn off the lamp and there was a little Roach walking through lamp shade. Of course had to kill it and flush it. did not sleep well hope in the night. After this experience I would not recommend any airport hotels.

By chance it took 12 hours to transfer to South America, and I thought that it was awkward at the lounge, so I used this hotel.
It is true that the airport is old and the charge is high just because it is directly connected to the airport, but in the case of me, I used day use instead of staying.
It was $ 130 for use from 9 to 18 o'clock.
It was great for healing the fatigue of a long trip and getting ready for the next flight.

As flights such as ANA and JAL will arrive at Terminal 5, let's go to Terminal 2 where the hotel is located by a free shuttle bus (surviving monorail between terminals around September 2019).

There are also outlets nearby, so if you feel like it's good to take a shower and refresh before going out to play.

Complimentary stay from missed flight change. Short overnight stay, very helpful staff as my first time in Chicago.

This hotel is so convenient when you have an early flight out the next morning. Rooms are clean but nothing special. Parking is $75.00! I parked in the airport parking within walking distance for $40.00. Room service is outrageous but I guess they all are. I canceled my order & went to one of their restaurants and got the same meal I ordered for half the cost. Convenient is my main stay for this hotel.

The location was great! Super easy to get to terminals in the morning. Great food service to the room. Clean rooms, great beds. Couldn't have asked for better. I will book again on my next flight out of ohare

Gas Light Restaurant always impresses me with their food. Some true Prohibition cocktails would be nice though...

Very convenient for business meeting. Everyone flew in and walks to hotel right from their terminal. Food for meetings is expensive; wanted to charge us $50 for a dozen donuts. Crazy! Brought in Krispy Kremes on our own.

Great experience with wonderful customer service from everyone I interacted with. Prices are too high at the restaurant and bar. Very classy helpful people. Great amenities. Perfect stay. Very thankful. Well done Hilton!

Location is super convenient, food options are limited and expensive. Room was adequate, clean and sufficient for a traveler whose flight was canceled. Competitive rates given the brand and location.

It was a nice enough area but I would like a sit down cafe in there. Honestly I went over there because I did not want to wait for my shuttle at the bus center.

AVOID AT ALL COST. Stayed here twice because of delayed flights. They don't care about you. The location is prime, so they do not worry about running out of business. Any feedback is not welcomed.

Good stay if you need to be at the airport. I booked a last minute room for a delayed flight causing me to need to stay overnight. It was a little bit pricey but I booked as I walked over there and it is attached to the airport therefore a close walk. My room was clean and large. It was a little bit noisy as people are understandably coming and going at all times. However if you ever need to stay at Chicago Ohare this is your place!!

The rooms are tired and in need of updating, particularly for the price I paid. Convenient, yes. Staff is friendly.

The rooms are ok, nothing spectacular but the are really close to the airport and a CTA station so you can go downtown really easy

Average for a Hilton. I was asked to pay $40 for a microwave. To circumvent this astronomical fee, I offered to just meet someone in the lobby to have my special meal heated. I was told this was a liability? As a diabetic I felt my needs were not understood or respected.

my husband and staff were there on a business trip this past weekend and came home with bed bug bites. Don't stay here!!

I used the Hilton one day for a day stay. The rate was reasonable, the room clean but the front desk clerk was more than adamant that I couldn't check in any earlier than the day rate covered (about 8 hours) and exactly what time I had to be out. I also find that the room service trays are left in the hallway too long and sometimes the housekeepers aren't conscious of the noise made when you allow the door to slam against the dead bolt/door frame after entering/exiting while cleaning to access the cleaning cart. I've stayed here at least 5 times and my experience differs each time.

Love the hotel as it is convenient to the airport especially for early morning flights. I recommend requesting a digital key to go straight to room as the front desk can have long lines during busy times.

It is right across the ohare airport bus/shuttle Center. You can literally walk across to the hotel and no hotel shuttle is needed. Highly recommend for convenience factor. Great location and very efficient especially those flying from the Pacific time zone to get rest asap,as half a day is lost flying to Chicago because of the time zone difference.

The airport Hilton is very convenient. It is an easily walkable distance from terminal B and there is an enclosed walkway when the weather is bad. Restaurant is a bit pricey for me. The bar prices are a tad better. You can tell it is an older building because of some of the doors or a few fixtures here and there. Otherwise it is clean and comfortable. The staff has been friendly and helpful.

The place is conveniently located across the airport. It is always good to know you have a place to stay that's comfortable esp after a long travel. The staff is friendly and rooms are a decent-size. The price is too expensive, though.

Called to make a reservation for 9/23. The rep instead made the reservation for the day we called. Then I got charged $200 (a full nights stay)for a no show. I understand it is partly my fault for not checking the reservation confirmation in my email but honestly you had me checking in 5 min after we called I wouldn't have even had time. considering your employee made the mistake the least they could do would be to offer a refund considering we never even stayed in the hotel. A no show fee I would understand and would pay and understand why but they charged me a full night. It's really awesome how Hilton takes advantage of every dollar during an epidemic while a lot of us are out of work. They must really be hurting financially. I'll never book a reservation at this hotel again and recommend to everyone staying overnight at the airport that it would be worth it to just take an Uber to a more accommodating hotel that isn't just trying to take from regular people we had to cancel our trip because of covid and now I have to find a way to dig myself out of a $200 hole. Awesome. Great service.

2 beds in room 3023, very clean. However, they did not give us a key to the mini bar, and the only place to get a drink, even water, was in the airport. Very expensive!

The only hotel within walking distance from the terminal building. The building has a lot of history and the equipment is not the latest, but it is recommended because it saves travel time for flights such as departures and arrivals at midnight and early morning. Since it is connected to the hotel by an underpass, you can move without getting wet even in the rain.

The hotel was amazing and the staff were fantastic and really helpful.

Pool is extra $ like 27$ and is not open late. 5$ tax on a soda at the restaurant. You're paying a bunch for a room but also having to pay for food and drink like you're in the airport. Pay extra for the flight to avoid staying here.

Room was dusty, bathtub had mildew around it. No water or soda in refrigerator, Asked for the menu for dinner, never received it. Dirt around the bottom of toliet. Peeling paint in room and bathroom. Bed clean, towels clean, trash cans clean, toiletries present, blow dryer present. Lounger needs refurbishing. No phone book or menu? Carpet clean, curtains clean, pictures needed wiping, refrigerator was clean, just empty. Did not like waiting to go to my room, would have had to pay 75.00 to go to my room early. Food in kiosk in front of elevators good. Owner needs customer service skills.

Pros: nice, courteous staff-reception, right next to terminal, spacious room, easy access to city, not walking distance but transportation easy to come by.

Cons: for local and vicinity, its priced more, didn't get my wake up call but I had back up, didn't like shower stall, was weak stream, a pet peeve of mine, liquor, the little deli in lobby? Expect 30-50 dollars for the pint size bottles; get water! Hydrate.

Connected to Chicago O'Hare and located right over the blue line CTA. Very convenient, and very clean hotel

Just very average for the price. A little thing that bothered me was the lack of water bottles in the room. Staff was good!

Our stay was short, but lovely. They have a very nice staff but their rooms are smaller than other Hiltons we've been to.

I like the proximity to the airport; if you have a short night you can walk to it. There's actually a tunnel that connects the hotel to the airport. The beds are comfortable as are the rooms. There's a really nice gym here too. My only beef is it's expensive. I don't know about the cost per night (since my company puts us up here), but the restaurant seemed pricey, and I did request a mini fridge (I often pack my own food when I'm away from home for multiple days), and was told it was a $25 rental fee, where most places we stay are little to no cost. So that was surprising. So overall, not bad for a quick night.

I use the "Park N' Fly" option at this and several other hotels around O'Hare. This is ALWAYS a great and cheaper alternative to parking at O'Hare. They offer shuttle buses to and from the hotel and O'Hare.
Try it, you will become hooked!

It is a great hotel and the perfect option for early morning flights. Instead of rushing to the airport, just spend the night and walk over.

No refrigerator, no microwave, bring non perishables if you want food before boarding. Room service starts at 40$. Friendly staff, clean room, loud elevators if located near them you can hear them in the room all night. Inexpensive to stay in if booked a few weeks on advance at least. Wifi cuts off often and do not send any personal information through it, you will be spammed within a couple of hours if you do. Data isn't safe but that should be a given at any public wifi. Overall it was worth the stay and got to our gate quickly from there.

Very nice spot, excellent services to the airport. Rooms are average, the bathroom in my room needed repair, paint peeling from ceiling over shower. Rooms were clean. Beds confortable.

The only renovated part of this hotel was the lobby. The hallways took get to your room seem a little dated with scuff marks on the walls. The ice machine on our floor was broken and we had to go to one on a different floor to get ice. If you bring your car and decide to park it with them the only way you can have in and out parking is if you valet your car $60. If you park it yourself its $35 but you have don't have in and out. I don't see this as a four star hotel, maybe just 3.

Extremely outdated. No Free Parking. 80 to park. No Free breakfast, rooms not clean. Rude and unfriendly staff. Avoid this hotel if possible. I would have rather stayed at a motel.

Welcoming staff, nice and elegant rooms with very comfortable bed, central location at the airport with easy access through lower level hallways

Had to stay one night due to a cancelled flight. The only negative was the extremely long check in. The speedy check out made it better. Rooms are small, at least they are if you go cheap like I did. The market on the first floor makes airport prices look like a clearance sale.
Room was clean and staff was friendly. Not bad for last minute.

The Hilton at the Chicaho O'Hare Airport is a great stay when your flight gets canceled for the night! It's so incredibly nice to not even have to go outside to get from the airport to the hotel. They have a nice restaurant and bar for dinner also. Clean rooms and friendly staff. I would recommend it and stay again.

Staff is professional and friendly. Very convenient to stay here the day before a flight out of ORD.
