If you go to the 9/11 Museum then you must take the time to cross the street and stop in O'Hara's. This Irish Pub not only has delicious burgers, sandwiches, and Guinness Beer, but it also serves as a memorial to all of those that lost their lives on 9/11. Covering the walls of O'Hara's are embroidered patches that represent every police station, fire station, military and paramedic unit that came to help. It is quite spectacular seeing how people from all over the country came to the rescue during this tragic event.

It's been a few years since we visited, but I still have very fond memories. The staff was amazing, the food - awesome! They have a scrap book surrounding 9-11 that you have to look through. So surreal. While we were there, we got to see a first responder put his patch on the wall. I can't wait to trek across the country and visit again!!

We accidentally found this place, and it is amazing: quite and friendly. What else customers are looking for?!!)))
Our bartender( Deann) and Jimmy ( I assume bar back) were very attentive! We weren't sure which beer we were going to drink, and Deann was very helpful with her suggestions and her friendly attitude! And Jimmy were very helpful as well and very kind. I'm thrilled to discover this place in he middle of the city, and definitely will be back!
Thank you, for such good service!
Best wishes,

Samantha is totally kick ass. I called at 1:20am due to a massive French Onion Soup crave and she is a FOS foodie too. She put together TWO HUGE soups 2 Go. Go see her, she's legit!!!!
Thank you!!!!!

Outstanding food and outstanding service. Fish and chips, burger, and salad - thumbs way up from the whole family. Their support for first responders is evident as emblems from around the world are displayed on all the walls. Staff was incredibly accommodating. Kid friendly. I highly recommend this place.

The service was lacking. All of the servers were running around. There were no assigned tables. We only had one napkin and needed ranch and mayo. We were forced to eat without it because no one ever checked on our table. The food was good but without the necessary condiments it was just ok . Very disappointing because it could have been great!

Worst pub ever.

Worst pub ever.

We stepped in to get a drink before visiting the 9/11 memorial. Two sodas for $4. When we asked for a refill on our sodas, they threw away our existing glasses, and put two fresh ones up, and then told us it was $5. When we asked again about the refills, THEN they told us there were no free refills. Hey, I have no problem with a no refill policy. I do have a problem with not stating that, putting up 'new' drinks and then trying to charge us more! We walked out. Worst pub ever.

Great friendly staff. Close to our hotel which was really convenient, after visiting the 9/11 memorial we changed clothes and went back for a bite to eat. Cheeseburgers were amazing. I got the bronx, my mom got the tenhouse and both were great.

Amazing food and atmosphere. Even on a Monday night this place is packed. The servers were nice and the food was delicious. I recommend the Reuben. Is a sandwich that is phenomenal. This place is great to spend a chill night and not break the bank.

This place is great. Always feels like home. No matter if it's a quick beer and burger or a great pork chop with all the fixings and a fine scotch, they got ya covered. I always make sure I stop here when in NYC.

Everything has amazing pub with a crazy story related to the 9/11.
Very nice decor, all the walls are covered with "patch" of different fire stations in NY, and came this graft full of police patch, firefighter etc from all over the country! The food is good and the prices are right.

We were visiting the 9/11 Memorial and wanted to grab some quick food and drinks. Not much to look at on the outside, but the inside had a great atmosphere and tribute to first responders and 9/11. Our server was very knowledgeable on local beers and super attentive. All of the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. You can tell they are a great team. The food was amazing and quick. The beer was so refreshing and reasonably priced. One of our favorite places in NY so far!!

Love their food!!
Thank you for displaying all the patches of all the First Responders from all around the United States and other countries who helped in the 9/11 recovery. I salute you, the First Responders, and all those who contributed to helping us recover. Paul M., Master Sergeant, US Army.

This place is a an incredible pub, awesome food and the staff are top notch. We stayed for about 5 hours one night. Ask to see the book. To see what these guys have gone through since 9/11 and the "decorations" around the whole place is an incredible thing with deep meaning. I cannot recommend this place highly enough

Excellent pub with a lot of American pride featuring FD, PD, and military patches throughout the restaurant. Great big burgers, BLT, draft beers, and very friendly, efficient service. This was the Irish pub experience I was seeking in NYC.
