Stopped by there with my wife on our first night in NYC. Great spot. The bartender Paul brought out his photo album and showed us some shots of the destruction and damage that the 9/11 attacks had on the bar and the area overall. Very powerful stuff. Great fish and chips. Thanks for a wonderful time

Stopped in for a quick bite before our 9/11 Memorial ticket time and was so happy my husband selected this place! The owner greeted us and grabbed stools for our children while we waited about 20-30 minutes for a table. He and his staff are by far the best I have seen since being in NYC. They were friendly and efficient. The food was hot and the beers were cold. I normally don t take the time to review but if you are in the area and want to have some great food in an awesome atmosphere and have actual friendly interactions with the staff this is your place!! Oh and the story of this place is incredible. Ask the staff to see their photo book from 9/11. We will be back every time we come to NYC!!

The pastrami in the Ruben sandwich I ordered was so tough, I couldn't chew it. Ended up taking half the meat off. It was awful. Only one of us in my party actually liked their food I was there with four other people I was traveling with for business and the bar tender about had a fit when we asked for separate checks (before ordering). Skip this restaurant, there are plenty of others close by.

What can you say about this place? Hallowed ground neighborhood joint that first responders and true NY crowds come hang out for a beer, watch the game, connect and take a load off after a busy day. It has magic and mystique - great sense of local culture.

For a few times I got stuck in the city because of work or snowstorms I would go to O Hara s and order myself a martini before heading up to the hotel. The pub at the right place and right time. What else can you ask for.
