Go to the upper bar on weekday afternoons and hang out with Sean and the locals - he's awesome! This is a great, local pub that has a family vibe. The staff really gets to know you and they're all great people. The beauty of this place is how it evolves from touristy during the day, sprinkled with a few regulars, to construction workers and firemen with a handful of office workers. Check out all the police and fire department patches on the wall from all the first responders who helped after 9/11. If you're from out of town, ask to see their 9/11 scrapbook. Margaret is the sweetest and absolute best waitress straight off the boat from Ireland and everyone will take care of you. It can get a little packed, but it's worth it. Lots of locals and tourists. Good appetizers, burgers wraps and other typical bar food. $4 Coors/Bud Lights all day every day. They can also pour a perfect pint of Guinness.

The athmosphere in this pub is very intense due to the location near 9/11, it's history from that time and not in the least hundreds of police and firefighters patches covering the walls. But you can get also friendly service, good food and a nice variety of beers there!

If you're looking through Google Maps for a bar to check out, search no more--this is it. Eric and Steve were phenomenal bartenders. Paul was down to earth, genuine and so helpful. You'll be so happy that you stopped by. The history of this place and it's people alone is worth coming to check out.

Great place! Bartenders, waiters, waitresses are all fantastic. Food is tasty. Prices are reasonable. Atmosphere cannot be topped. Every time I am in this part of NYC, I stop in here for something to eat and a Guinness...or three! Fantastic little joint. Cannot say enough great things about it!

I have eaten here several times and I have to admit for it being a bar the food is amazing. The bar on the inside is not very big, so if you want to grab a bar stool or get a table make sure you go early. This place is very popular and gets crowded quick.

Stopped here yesterday which is just a couple days after they were able to reopen from COVID closure and spirits were high with that fight attitude. As we sat my wife and two kids and I this guy who was a partner or something came to our table, made us feel like family and share their 9/11 book with as they were at the heart of it all. Thank you so much. We will always come back. If you are in the area there is no better place to support. He really made the visit. Thanks again

I feel proud to be an American when I visit this place. Awesome display of first responder badges, emblems, gear, etc. Great location and service! I like to sit at the bar and strike up conversations with both locals and folks from all of the world. Cold Beer and Great Food! Be sure to check out the photo album when you visit!

Pub food...really bad. Kevin was at the bar when we went and he was horrible. Ignored us often. Plus there was a girl that was at the bar that was obviously overservered and he offered her more drinks.
Why?! Not going back!

First, not a lot of nice places in the area to eat, open on Sunday (?!) so we chose this one based on rating and location. Tight place and we got the tiniest table, barely as wide as a laptop, because it was only 2 of us. Points for beer, menu mostly burgers. I ve been to Ireland and love their restaurants !! Irish restaurant without fish and chips, not Irish enough...we settled for burgers, so not in our diet list, nor was anything close to a good salad or soup. We ve been unfortunate to sit near some guests that used word f**** way to frequent, and the bartender wasn t doing a thing to discourage it. If you re looking for atmosphere, that is on the menu. Half an hour later, burgers not in. Be ready to wait. Burgers too dry, quantity not quality. We left a very undeserved tip, 10% , hint hint to the waiter that tips are earned not a right. I had to ask him where is our food, never stopped by to ask what we need...also, we could have used some recommendation regarding the food options.

One of the best bars I ve been to in the city. Every staff member I encountered was incredibly friendly, courteous, and just generally awesome. I sat at the bar because it was packed (which is unsurprising considering the quality of food and service), but still felt constantly attended to and cared for. My boyfriend and I each ordered different entrees and have the other half so I got two dishes in one meal. I ordered one of the specials, the barbecue chicken wrap, and was blown away- there was a perfect amount of (delicious!) sauce, chicken, cheese, and bacon. My boyfriend ordered the steak sandwich and I was just as thrilled with that, especially since it came on a poppy seed roll and not just some Italian bread like most bars serve it. The fries were a little lacking in salt, but the provided salt and pepper shaker allowed us to salt it up to our liking which is in my opinion better than being stuck with too salty fries anyway. My drink was also made deliciously and was a reasonable price given it s location in the city, especially since it s right next to the WTC memorial. Though the bartender had never made a dirty Shirley, he was super willing to learn to make one and double checked to make sure I was satisfied with it. (Side note: if you ve never had one, a dirty Shirley is a Shirley temple with the clear liquor of your choice added- I think vodka or rum works best with the grenadine). Overall everything consumed was delicious, the service was through the roof, and the atmosphere was awesome. I didn t get to look through all of the walls for a badge from my vfd, but I definitely plan on going back to find out if we have one somewhere and if not give them one. 100/10 would and will recommend to all friends and family, just a fantastic experience. Thank you O Hara s for such a great lunch!

Poor service and over-cooked, bland food. 10/10 would not recommend.
Shepherd's pie- $17 worth of unseasoned ground beef, box mashed potatoes, and what seemed to be canned corn, peas and carrots. Glad it was a small portion because what I did eat made my iron stomach turn.
NY Strip steak- $19 of overcooked and under seasoned mess with box mashed potatoes and freezer section veggies.

Awesome Irish bar, great food with excellent prices. Paul one of the owners took the time to sit down with us and share some great stories, we got some excellent shirts also. We definitely will be back and reccomend anyone visiting the memorial to stop by. We were from NC, TN and NJ

Not the seafood place we thought but a bar. They had rueben on the menu but no cornbeef. We expected too much to expect they would cook my wife's veggie burger on a seperate grill. The lemonade was weak. The service was eh. Probably would not go back
