Great place to have a couple of drinks and watch some sports. Everyone is great!!
Love it whoop whoop! Try the Coney Island or Brooklyn Lager!
Good people, great food, reasonable prices that's a complete winning experience in my book!
Good cozy place, sports bar in front and tables all around. Enjoyed the feel but the Shepard's Pie was just okay, not amazing.
My son and I went here a few times. We were here visiting colleges. We loved it each and every time. The service was fantastic and the food is good. The patches on the wall were amazing. The bar staff was super friendly. If you go here ask them to see the scrapbook. It s heartbreaking and amazing at the same time.
Best pub around. Great food! Excellent people. Great atmosphere.. and the beer tastes delicious. If you come, and you're a cop/firefighter/ems/military, bring a patch!! It's loved here.
Loved the vibe. Service was excellent! Food was good too...
Excellent, good service, good prices. You can eat, or have a drink at the bars.
Classic Irish pub. They made a really good zero proof Marguerita. Spinach salad was good too.
I'd never heard of O'Hara's until my uncle suggested we stop in here after visiting the 9/11 memorial. The staff was so friendly, the food was amazing, and I think I could spend a whole day in there just looking at all of the stickers and patches sent in by different police and fire departments from around the world. Plus it's super close to the subway so we didn't have to walk too far after filling our bellies up on bar food I cannot recommend this place enough, I'd say it's a must-do when you visit the 9/11 memorial.
Nice little spot to have a drink. They have a couple of scrap books of 9/11. Their walls are decorated with patches from police and fire departments from around the world.
Local survivor of the attacks. The photos of how he stayed after 9/11 freezes your blood.
Still it has regained its picturesque touch of Irish pub. Very tasty burgers and good beer.
Great food, very helpful and friendly staff. The atmosphere is VERA AMERICA also because it is frequented by locals. Local in the immediate vicinity of the places of September 11. Super recommended
Right by the World Trade Power, this is a great Irish Pub! I sat at the bar and tried the Coney Island Beer, along with tuna on a cranberry walnut salad. I highly recommend it, if you happen to be in the area!
Food available to 3 in the morning great crowd always
Spent the summer in New York and went to O'Haras most nights after work, couldn't recommend this spot enough to anyone. Best staff I encountered by far, all the workers greeted us at the door when we walked in and treated us like their friends. Drink prices are very reasonable and the food is quite nice while enjoying a few beers. Tony was our bartender for most of it and we got to know him very well. I'll definitely be coming back again in the future.
Cool place! Amazing walls full of first responder badges from all over the world.
Cracking food, cracking atmosphere and staff that are polite and friendly. We will return one day
was just there on Sunday night, on my way to Connecticut to pick up a fire truck. Friendly and great service. Wish I could remember the craft beer I had, overall a great place and a wonderful tribute to all public safety personnel.
So glad we came across this place after touring the 911Memorial Museum. So much history in O Hara s- you can feel it when you walk in. Very attentive staff and the best hamburger!
A fire fighters bar- food was delivered fast but was just average. Bar tenders were friendly. The selection of bottle beer is hit and miss. Sometimes they just don't have a certain kind. I wont say it. 'Authentic" i had fish and chips. But it was decent.
Worth a quick visit.
Brilliant place right next to World Trade Centre. Pop in for a pint
The service was great along with the food. Excellent place to eat after touring the 911 museum and freedom tower.
Fantastic little pub! Good hot food and large selection of refreshments to choose from.
Pre and post 9/11 bar just steps from the World Trade Center. All of the walls are covered with shoulder patches from police, fire, and EMT's from all over America. Really great place and a great connection to the WTC tragedy. Go, and have a couple of beers and remember.
Great atmosphere. Warm, cozy and great place for a drink in cold day
Great place Great time and the ower really really nice makes u feel right at home
Nice decor with the huge collection of police and fire department shoulder patches, food is served bland and very hot, but that s the good part of this review. Now for the bad: the drinks here SUCK. I ordered a Maker s Mark Old Fashioned which was served to me in a double shot glass, orange, cherry were not muddled. My girlfriend ordered a top shelf margarita and was pleased with the first one served to her. At the end of dinner, she asked for another top shelf margarita and it came out bitter. We then noticed that there was a new female bartender working behind the bar, whereas before it was a male. Drink inconsistencies suck. But, the server never asked me if I would like another drink, let alone followed up to see if we liked our drinks or not... I asked for a check, was charged $31 for sub par drinks, no effort to see if they could make another to my satisfaction, or deduct it from the bill. Customer service SUCKS here.
I had an awesome burger called 10 house it was so good highly recommend
Great drinks. Bartender was fantastic. Food average.
Used to go to this place all the time when I still worked downtown. Would go for drinks with the boys and a quick game of Golden Tee. Place got messed up pretty bad on 9/11, and when it opened up again it restored just a little piece of normalcy back for those of us who'd worked and lived in that area. I love this place. Hope it is there for a hundred years.
Great atmosphere. Amazing History. When stopping by WTC, it's a must stop for a good Irish bar experience. See the different fire Dept patches from all over the world.
The atmosphere in this pub is just amazing. I ordered the Reuben . It certainly lived up to my expectations and the list of draft brew is spot on. This establishment is a must do if you re in need of a beer after a long day.
Wow what a bar. We loved every minute being in here, the staff are really friendly the food was fab and the atmosphere amazing. If you get a chance ask to see one of their 9/11 books - as they're right round the corner from WTC, they have their own tributes and it explains why there are so many police / fire etc badges in there. Will deff be back!
Totally awesome!!! Wr are from Memphis and loved it
Delicious food (recommend stew or pie), delicious beer, friendly service
Kudos to you O'Hara's for your commitment, support of fire and police agencies, I don't think I have every seen so many patches in one place. I can't say I loved the food so much (it's a bar after all). The environment is festive and of course there is a great selection of adult beverages. Go, have fun and while your there raise a pint in support of all the men and women keeping communities safe.
Sensational. VIP service and being a police officer felt at home ...
A beer and shots kinda place with some good pub grub as well. The walls are plastered with service patches from mainly fireys and the police force. The bar tenders are legends, especially Uncle Dave. The pub played a big role in 9/11, ask to see the photo album.
Best bar/restaurant in lower Manhattan/ fun people work there and fun people hang out there!!! Food is excellent, servers were GREAT, atmosphere was very chill
One of the best pubs I have been to, love the decoration and the place where is situated. The owner is always behind the bar and he is such a cool guy
Great place, delicious food, good beer and great attention.
Great burger, friendly atmosphere. Perfect lunch spot near the 9/11 memorial.
The owners are wonderful people. Great place for a late night snack.
This bar feels almost like home. I've been there just a handful of times but it's one of my favourite pubs I've been to, almost anywhere in the world. Prices are what you'd expect, food has great flavour and the staff is almost second to none.
Stopped in for a drink after the Observatory. Good atmosphere
If you are looking for a quality burger near 9/11 Memorial, you must come here. The food is good but what you will experience inside is unforgettable. A shine to police and firefighters. Their walls stood between their patrons and the crumbling towers. Now these same walls are emblazoned with patches. Something every NYC visitor should experience.
Always a great dive bar! Also am homage to those emergency personnel who helped after 9/11.
Love this place. Went here for the first time today and it was super. Great pub feeling, friendly staff and good food. I would've tipped more if the cash register hadn't made the decision for me.^^ Might go there again tomorrow.
Great food, classic Irish pub fare, very reasonably priced!
The atmosphere is cool and chill! Our waitress was pleasant and the food was great! LOVE the cider beer!! Highly recommend for a break time on your visit!
My family and I always stop by O' Hara's for lunch and drinks when we are Downtown NYC. The food and drinks are very good. Reasonably priced too. Wait staff is friendly. Thousands of emergency service patches cover the walls. There is a photo album filled with photos from the WTC site which you can view.
Gotta love this place. The owner is a great guy. The bar tenders and wait staff are in their toes. Its got alot of history pertaining to 9/11... i highly recommend this place for great food and good times
Wouldn't put on my baseball game that I wanted and my Reuben sandwich was terrible. The rest of my party's food was good
Good pub food, good hospitality and nice atmosphere. Well done O'Hara's.
Happening hang out place - the place is decorated with badges of different state police and first responders- which I think is a great and innovative idea.
It has a feel of local cozy beer place to catch up with friends and grab few drinks.
No complaints with the service as well.
Very good. Nice place, good food, very cheaper and good guys and girls.
