My son and I went here a few times. We were here visiting colleges. We loved it each and every time. The service was fantastic and the food is good. The patches on the wall were amazing. The bar staff was super friendly. If you go here ask them to see the scrapbook. It s heartbreaking and amazing at the same time.

Good

I'd never heard of O'Hara's until my uncle suggested we stop in here after visiting the 9/11 memorial. The staff was so friendly, the food was amazing, and I think I could spend a whole day in there just looking at all of the stickers and patches sent in by different police and fire departments from around the world. Plus it's super close to the subway so we didn't have to walk too far after filling our bellies up on bar food I cannot recommend this place enough, I'd say it's a must-do when you visit the 9/11 memorial.

Great food, very helpful and friendly staff. The atmosphere is VERA AMERICA also because it is frequented by locals. Local in the immediate vicinity of the places of September 11. Super recommended

Right by the World Trade Power, this is a great Irish Pub! I sat at the bar and tried the Coney Island Beer, along with tuna on a cranberry walnut salad. I highly recommend it, if you happen to be in the area!

Spent the summer in New York and went to O'Haras most nights after work, couldn't recommend this spot enough to anyone. Best staff I encountered by far, all the workers greeted us at the door when we walked in and treated us like their friends. Drink prices are very reasonable and the food is quite nice while enjoying a few beers. Tony was our bartender for most of it and we got to know him very well. I'll definitely be coming back again in the future.

was just there on Sunday night, on my way to Connecticut to pick up a fire truck. Friendly and great service. Wish I could remember the craft beer I had, overall a great place and a wonderful tribute to all public safety personnel.

A fire fighters bar- food was delivered fast but was just average. Bar tenders were friendly. The selection of bottle beer is hit and miss. Sometimes they just don't have a certain kind. I wont say it. 'Authentic" i had fish and chips. But it was decent.
Worth a quick visit.

Pre and post 9/11 bar just steps from the World Trade Center. All of the walls are covered with shoulder patches from police, fire, and EMT's from all over America. Really great place and a great connection to the WTC tragedy. Go, and have a couple of beers and remember.

Nice decor with the huge collection of police and fire department shoulder patches, food is served bland and very hot, but that s the good part of this review. Now for the bad: the drinks here SUCK. I ordered a Maker s Mark Old Fashioned which was served to me in a double shot glass, orange, cherry were not muddled. My girlfriend ordered a top shelf margarita and was pleased with the first one served to her. At the end of dinner, she asked for another top shelf margarita and it came out bitter. We then noticed that there was a new female bartender working behind the bar, whereas before it was a male. Drink inconsistencies suck. But, the server never asked me if I would like another drink, let alone followed up to see if we liked our drinks or not... I asked for a check, was charged $31 for sub par drinks, no effort to see if they could make another to my satisfaction, or deduct it from the bill. Customer service SUCKS here.

Used to go to this place all the time when I still worked downtown. Would go for drinks with the boys and a quick game of Golden Tee. Place got messed up pretty bad on 9/11, and when it opened up again it restored just a little piece of normalcy back for those of us who'd worked and lived in that area. I love this place. Hope it is there for a hundred years.

The atmosphere in this pub is just amazing. I ordered the Reuben . It certainly lived up to my expectations and the list of draft brew is spot on. This establishment is a must do if you re in need of a beer after a long day.

Wow what a bar. We loved every minute being in here, the staff are really friendly the food was fab and the atmosphere amazing. If you get a chance ask to see one of their 9/11 books - as they're right round the corner from WTC, they have their own tributes and it explains why there are so many police / fire etc badges in there. Will deff be back!

Kudos to you O'Hara's for your commitment, support of fire and police agencies, I don't think I have every seen so many patches in one place. I can't say I loved the food so much (it's a bar after all). The environment is festive and of course there is a great selection of adult beverages. Go, have fun and while your there raise a pint in support of all the men and women keeping communities safe.

A beer and shots kinda place with some good pub grub as well. The walls are plastered with service patches from mainly fireys and the police force. The bar tenders are legends, especially Uncle Dave. The pub played a big role in 9/11, ask to see the photo album.

This bar feels almost like home. I've been there just a handful of times but it's one of my favourite pubs I've been to, almost anywhere in the world. Prices are what you'd expect, food has great flavour and the staff is almost second to none.

If you are looking for a quality burger near 9/11 Memorial, you must come here. The food is good but what you will experience inside is unforgettable. A shine to police and firefighters. Their walls stood between their patrons and the crumbling towers. Now these same walls are emblazoned with patches. Something every NYC visitor should experience.

Love this place. Went here for the first time today and it was super. Great pub feeling, friendly staff and good food. I would've tipped more if the cash register hadn't made the decision for me.^^ Might go there again tomorrow.

My family and I always stop by O' Hara's for lunch and drinks when we are Downtown NYC. The food and drinks are very good. Reasonably priced too. Wait staff is friendly. Thousands of emergency service patches cover the walls. There is a photo album filled with photos from the WTC site which you can view.

Happening hang out place - the place is decorated with badges of different state police and first responders- which I think is a great and innovative idea.
It has a feel of local cozy beer place to catch up with friends and grab few drinks.
No complaints with the service as well.
