Good editions and books. Small, but for its niche 5ka.

Like Korea, there is no university on campus. I have a building by college.

For the tourist or a visiting NYU family member, the bookstore provides an incredible variety of merchandise emblazoned with the NYU logo, from beanies to shot glasses. There is also a selection of books that are not textbooks, though I would recommend that if you are looking for those you go to a store that focuses on them rather than on promoting its brand. For the student, I strongly advise that you look into other sources for your textbooks, because, unfortunately, textbooks here are as prohibitively expensive as they are at any college bookstore. Don't be afraid of ebooks and PDFs, they cost less and you can take them anywhere.

This store is very convenient fircnyu students as well as other peoplea.
They have almost all the student related stuff.
And very beautiful cloths for girls and boy.
Staff is very nice and helpful.
All the aisles are clean and shelves are well stocked.
They have computer shop also inside to help the students to solve their problem.

If you're not a student or graduate, the place probably would not have much to offer you.

Pretty cool, The store is always clean and the staff is very nice. The Security Guard was very helpful and the products were of good quality.

Listen, NYU branding is expensive AF, lol! But beyond this, everyone at the store was so helpful! I couldn't decide on a couple of sweaters, so people at the store had a whole conversation with me right before closing hahaha. I still ended up making the wrong decision, so I'll be going back for another purchase . Not only were employees so helpful, the clientele are so attractive! I struck up such a random conversation with a cute af guy about what he should get his friends when they come to visit. Anyway, (besides the prices lol) I really like the bookstore.

*OH THERE'S ALSO MORE STUFF THAN JUST CLOTHING AT THE BOOKSTORE, but lol I only came for a sweater today hahaha.

No one cared enough to even offer to help me and I was in there for a good 15 minutes

Extremely rude and unhelpful employees, not student friendly.

A good spot for getting a nice present to a teenage son! Or for yourself if you like a good and intelligent read.

I am a big fan of the updated bookstore. The store is pretty much the same as last year, but it s much more aesthetically appealing, and they optimized the cash register area, which makes the line much more streamlined. The area where the books are displayed is still really organized and everything, and the service is still pretty friendly and helpful!

The place to go for all NYU branded things (and books of course)

There is a small Apple Shop in the bookstore, where you can get a 5% student discount. We sell clothes and school materials, and there is a NYU health center in the same building. When you go to the health center with Google Maps, you will be guided through the entrance to the ambulance. Don't believe Google Maps.

I would say that it is foremost an NYU memorabilia store, which also sells books. It runs great discounts on books from time to time and sells a large variety of clothing in the NYU colors. There is also some tech in the back of the store where you can buy Apple and Google products as well as some other gadgets.

A wonderful shop for everyone who absolutely needs souvenirs from the university

Service is lackluster and items are vastly overpriced. I don't expect too much of a college bookstore but it seems they could do better with the amount of business they get coming in.

I luv this place. Overpriced but my son is now an alum, so that makes up for the prices in my book.

Forget the history. Forget Ferlinghetti, Ginsberg, Kerouac, Talese. Forget the wet dream of a poetry floor, the activist fliers by the stairs, the feeling that you're standing in a cathedral cramped into a chimney

College bookstore, souvenirs, and they buy used text books

Great place to purchase books, tee shirts, and hats! Friendly staff with excellent customer service.

Only one dressing room that is guarded like Fort Knox. No restroom. When parents spend the money for NYU, they need a restroom.

Not to mention stationery and laboratory tools that students need, there are also many products for tourists such as T-shirts and mugs from New York University!

Pet friendly!!! I was in disbelief that NYU Bookstore allowed me to go in with my two corgis. My wife and I are NYU alumni and were so proud to walk in there and buy swag for ourselves and for our pups with them there with us! Love this spot!

Visited for Alumni Weekend. Nice store & layout (it's a new store) but very high prices. Floor staff was helpful and friendly, but the counter staff was downright hostile when it came to honoring an advertised alumni discount. The cashier I had held up the line to argue with the manager as he was telling her how to honor it. Later I saw that she'd removed the discount from one of my items. The amount wasn't enough to go back and fight over, but enough to make me wait a very long time before I shop there again.

A bookstore run by New York Dagger. Like any university bookstore, half the books are sold for students, while the rest sell clothes and souvenirs. The price of clothes is very high because it reflects the insane tuition fees of New York University. Besides, the design of most clothes is ambiguous.

The staff was very helpful. Way overpriced, but expect that at any college bookstore.

Lots of NYU clothing, text books, paper, pens, notebook supplies and student paraphernalia available with many cashiers at check out. There are sales items, too, mostly in the NYU purple.

Good shop for NYU swag, however it had quite a pitiful computer section for a campus book store at such a large school.

NYU in general feels like a rip off, and their merch is unbelievably expensive

Attended this school and loved the bookstore. It's been renovated twice in which the first renovation accommodated a mini Apple store and second to house Think coffee. There is a great selection of books and nicknacks for the commemoration of NYU students and alumni. I would take a look if you're a current student. Try to rent as much as you can instead of outright buy as things can get expensive. Furthermore, the benefit to buying text from the bookstore is the print out due to class number in the back. For science classes such as s orgo and bio there are packages put together which saves time.

I wouldn't buy office supplies here because it's expensive and you don't get points back as a student and staples is nearby. The Mac store is cool because you can easily purchase necessary tech here and as a student you can get a payment plan for hardware.

The security is pretty hit or miss as sometimes they check your bag before leaving and some don't care. I prefer them to check and sign like they used to as it shows great attention to the possibility for theft.

Overall good bookstore compared to other schools I've been to. Obviously in part due to money.

I need to purchase something for class, but I want to make sure that it s in stock before I take the 45 minute train downtown. I ve tried calling a number of times but no one picks up any of the extensions. Customer service could be greatly improved. The selection, however, is good.

An extraordinary university in every respect! NYU offers so much in the form of the highest quality education, an incredible student body, an abundance of fantastic opportunities to study abroad, brilliant professors who care about their students and are leaders in the respective fields, a fabulous campus setting, all set in the middle of Greenwich Village. There is truly no other university like it in the world! Student life is awesome and fun. Lastly, it will open up a bewildering number of job opportunities upon graduation. We love NYU!!

The renovations were definitely an improvement! The placement of some products is odd and the racks are somewhat close together. But less cramped than previously. They have a lot of options, but they could spin some of their marketing in a different direction.

The NYU bookstore is very similar to any other college bookstore. You can find textbooks, college clothes, and other staples of college life. It's a little expensive, but worth a visit if in New York.
