Good location, tons of parking nearby. Lots of events to go see all year, and recently priced. Seats are comfy and you have great views from all over the venue. Bathrooms are plentiful, clean, and located both top and bottom floors. The seats are comfy, and somewhat roomy for a theater. Tons of food options close by to make a good evening of the visit! Might need a jacket inside as the AC seemed to be on and it was January, could have been a fluke.

This review is based on watching the touring production of Rent 2019. The Lied Center's auditorium is large and spacious. I'm not sure if there is a bad seat in the house, mine was very nice. Plenty of leg room and could see everything without obstruction.

The issues I encountered were the lack of theatre discipline by the center. People were on their phones, talking, using their flashlights and flashes. At no point did any usher make any comments or chastise the attendees for ruining the experience for everyone else. In fact they helped by using their own flashlights to blind the audience members. In addition, the tickets stated that latecomers would not be able to enter at any time and would have to wait for appropriate pauses. However, the distractions caused by people shuffling in at all manner of time was incredibly annoying. So if you'd like to see a touring Broadway production, I'd recommend you go somewhere else.

Be prepared for harassment and verbal abuse from fellow viewers. Be prepared for you and your family to be removed from your seats and be placed at the back of the theater, if you do not meet the high-brow ideals. Not a place for Midwesterners who work hard for their money, save for tickets, and make going a real cherished memory.

I have been attending performances at the Lied Center for as long as I can remember and have always had a 100% positive experience.

Recently I have been shown even more reason to appreciate it.

Besides the gorgeous acoustics, elegant style, and ease of access. The people have shown me such kindness.

I attended the Lincoln Symphony Orchestra's performance of Antonin Dvorak's New World Symphony. At the time I was the 2016-2017 Miss Czech-Slovak US Queen, and attended in my kroj (Czech/Slovak dress)

Maestro Polochick was doing a pre-concert talk in the commons area, and when he saw me he pulled me up in front of everyone and had me speak on behalf of the cultural preservation of the Czech and Slovak cultures, particularly through music.

After this many staff members came up to me and expressed their deep appreciation, and I simply wanted to turn it around and express my thanks to them.

Fantastic! I was here seeing Natalie McMaster and it was a good show and good atmosphere. Staff are very helpful. Theu have a concessions and alcohol areas, plus you are offered a pillow for your chair, on your way into the amphitheater, to either sit on or lean back against. Prices for snacks and drinks aren't too bad.

Lincoln's Showplace for the arts!! A wonderful venue to experience a variety of concerts, plays, comedy shows, lectures and dance programs. Come see what you know and like, and also get tickets to experiment and try a new kind of event. Excellent offerings for kids and families, too are presented frequently. Look out for periodic 'flash dales' where tickets are deeply discounted. Beautiful auditorium, tasty concessions, superb sound system - the Lied is the place to enjoy a great evening out!!

Brilliant lighting, set and the stage is very spacey. I came here to watch the Phantom of the Opera with my cast and and crew for One Act. The actors put on a beautiful show. I loved everything about this experience and would watch it a thousand times over. Thank you for such an amazing performace.

The space is quite large and it sounds like a performance should sound in the house. The lobby and auditorium is kept clean however the hallways outside the auditorium have an oddly low ceiling and are a little narrow. It's not really a problem though.

I believe I can offer a unique perspective. Even though I have watched NUMEROUS shows at this facility, I have performed at this venue multiple times as well. The backstage dressing rooms are fantastic-- they are equipped with mirrors, sinks, restrooms, etc. There's even a green room! Regarding the stage, it is not huge, but certainly a good size, especially from the audience's perspective.

From the audience's perspective, most of the productions are wonderful. Great sound quality, acoustics, lighting, effects, and talent! The ushers are kind and courteous. There are pillows to borrow (free of charge) when viewing the performance. There is also an observation room at the back of the theatre. Concessions are sold, and usually some sort of "keepsake" boutique item is sold as well. There is a coat/bag check-in (optional) as well. Often times, there is a discount code for tickets that can grant you up to 50% off, without being a Season Pass holder-- and yes, you can purchase individual tickets. :)

I highly recommend the Lied Center if you are a prospective ticket buyer! Trust me, you will not regret your decision.

Going to see Phantom of The Opera with one of my childhood best friends this weekend, and could not be more excited! Hope to see you there.
