Novotel Zürich Airport Review

Due to Corona the was no breakfast buffet, housekeeping down to the minimum, only on request if absolutely necessary they will come and clean the room. Empty minibar and everyone of the staff in masks. I'm sure after Corona it will get a better rating but for now this is all I can give it. damn corona!

Water in shower was not hot, tea coffee not topped up properly either day even after asking, I expect more given the price charged

Very bad experience. Light in the bathroom does not work and despite the complaint we do nothing. TV does not work. PAYING extra bed of very poor quality. This is not a Novotel

Good quality hotel for a reasonable price. Family friendly, nice staff. Fantastic breakfast, though you need to pay for it - however for Zurich standards it is definitely worth to buy it. You can do it during online reservation. Perfect location: few minutes to the airport, tram station next to the hotel directly to the city center. You can buy passes at the hotel front desk. Highly recommend.

Telephone registration was already problematic. Check in was very reserved. Shower in the room was just on the edge of the reasonable. Parking fees I found almost usury. Breakfast buffet was almost unprepared for the big onslaught.

Contemporary place,decent breakfast spreads,located close to the airport.but has skeletal staff,very poor room service and house keeping.we paid a nominal amount to be dropped to the airport by the hotel van,and the driver left us stranded one level below in the arrival section with a hell lot of luggage!for a accor group of hotel ,really bad service!!

reception demanded at extra service charge of chf 2 so i could chf 8 to go to the vending machine. but i do not need additional service charges. bought good and healthy Ramseier only :). the young gentleman from asia was friendly.

A few minutes from the airport, a clean hotel with spacious and quiet rooms. I was there one night, they let me find a Swiss chocolate in the room. Rich European breakfast.

Great and friendly service, love shuttle bus! Nice rooms m, only one complaint small portions of food and very expensive- but that's Switzerland;)

Close to the airport, clean, helpful front desk. Ideal business hotel

A good option to stay on a shirt business trip. The advantage is that they offer pick-up and drops to and from from the airport at regular intervals.
There's a tram and bus station in walking distance which can take you to the city center without hassle.
Their rooms, though a bit small, are reasonably furnished and well maintained.
Breakfast is a decent spread in the mornings.

I came on the morning...they told me your not allowed to enter to your room till 2:00pm..although the room was free.the receptionist said (its impossible)

Was there to eat and drink.
Staff super polite and endeavored for the well-being of the guests.

Loved the hotel from checkin to checkout. Everything was perfect. Lovely staff, Clean rooms, Good breakfast. Reception helped us book our tours for Mount Titlis and Rhine Falls.

Location is at prime location... Just a few foots, say a less than ten.. To catch tram... But hotel not at par standard of Novotel .. Being from India... Indian Novotel hotels are having premium and rich look than this hotel

Great hotel located very near to the Zurich airport. Their buffet breakfast is really nice both spread and taste wise.

Perfect. Great service from the front desk. Very clean. Excellent breakfast and next to the train station.

This is a sad disappointing hotel. My flight was canceled and I was sent here. The vouchers from swiss provide a "dinner" of pasta sitting in a hot water buffet tray and salad. Even if you wanted to order food and pay for it for yourself-- there isn't anything to eat apart from a "tart-like pizza"; yuky sandwiches; or a plate of cold cuts. And there is nothing around this very odd location.

The young women that sit at the front desk are surly and condescending to people who would have never been standing in this hotel if they were not sent my swiss air. One of them pointed her red polished fingernails at me-- telling me dinner was at 8 (she needs to learn her numbers in English). Dinner was at 6. Dinner was very sad pasta with mystery red sauce. Word to the wise AVOID THIS HOTEL AND IF SWISS AIR TRIES TO SEND YOU HERE REFUSE. I will send a version of this to swiss air and I will also post on lonely planet and trip advisor and frommers more broadly. No company should be allowed to run such a crappy operation.

The hotel has the best years behind it. Rooms are old and seemingly furnished in the nineties. The bath and sink are dirty and rundown. The rating here on Google does not reflect the reality. Not recommendable.

Good hotel near to Zurich airport. We can reach airport in 5-10mins of time.

Dear Owner, thank you for your reply. "4"stars instead of" 5"were bacause my room walls were covered a lot with black strips, so they looked very dirty (I don't think that suit to 4 stars hotel). But the service and food in the hotel were on a good level.

Very good breakfast layout.very helpful reception. Nice dinner menu I included indian cuisine.

Room was OK, when showering in the morning unfortunately only cold water. Breakfast buffet was quite manageable. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Forced stay due to the storm. Relaxed atmosphere, good food and friendly staff.

Spent here one night between our flights. The hotel is only 10 minutes away (by car) from airport. The room is basic but there is everything you need including drinking water and coffee/tea pot. Extremely clean! Quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Very nice staff. Gave problems with the room card. Staff solved it very quickly and professionally.

Very convenient.. breakfast spread is nothing great

Only one elevator was working. Rest were out of order on all 4 days. Guests had to queue up for the lift to go many times up and down till their turn came. I had to wait for 4 or 5 times for the lift to come and go and then one of us went by stairs and 3 of us squeezed in three times with other protesting guests to come down while checking out. Extremely frustrating.

Average hotel and rooms compared to a 4 star hotel.Indian hotels are much better than it .The staff is also not that helpful and is rude.

No proper response, very rude behaviour. One of the worst hotel have visited. Staff should trained enough to how to speak customer. Very very bad experience

At the end it turned out to be ok. at first, we were not treated as Accor Members. Things were unclear, such as parking and breakfast, Finally, the next day thing took a turn to the better.

My advice: If you have a loyalty program, treat your customers accordingly

This is one of the best hotels! However, the website says they have a pool, but that's a lie

Bad smell coming from drain in sink in the bathroom, corridors were very run down looking.

Marvellous,all facilities and a highly professional n courteous behavior.Room size big enough and superbly done.

When I was leaving for the day, I noted to the front desk folks that the coffee machine did not work and requested for 2 days that someone please brew a cup in my room while I was out and to leave the full cup there for when I returned from work. They wrote down my room number 204 but did not do this. Therefore I had no morning coffee which is disappointing. Please be kind and appreciative of your staff so that they would do so in turn to travelers and would follow through when a problem is noted.

In the summer, the outdoor Gourmet Bar has a great atmosphere. It's casual elegant and very friendly. On most days the menu is what you would expect from an international hotel (club sandwiches, spaghetti, and some trendy meals like Ahi Tuna Bowl). There's tables, lounge areas, big screen tv's, and cool music.

The outstanding feature, however, is the Tuesday and Thursday barbeques. For CHF 33.00 you get a really high quality all you can eat grill party. There's a good salad bar, and yummy sword fish, shrimp, chicken, pork steaks, beef, and baked potatoes. Oh - and a half liter beer is included in the price too.

What more could you want? 4

The hotel is located close to the airport but tends to have a lot of transit tourists by the bus load and can get noisy
