Formerly name is Hill Resort.good hotel and
good located.
Near Mandalay hill and nice place for rest silently.
Spa Wonderful, the most beautiful I have ever seen in my life
The largest hotel in Mandalay is owned by Thai people.
goo one
nice pool
I spent 1 hour in front of this hotel, after a long train journey from Bagan at night, I was tired and enjoyed a watermelon with the taxi driver next to me hahaha
One of the nicest places in Mandalay, and definitely worth the price. Resort with a spa, fitness, pool bar and open-air restaurant and theatre, all in great architecture style. The rooms are a little outdated what concerns the furniture, but all more than compensated by the ambience of the resort.
beautiful place ,here we are relaxing by the pool .excellent service and very helpful staff , specially Mr Chitsanupongthorn
The best hotel in Mandalay. The service is good and the food are good too. Beautiful place because of garden. The best thing is SPA included. I love this hotel.
Near Mandalay hill and have great view from hotel room.
Comfortable hotel, large, clean restaurant, food for being in Burma is very spicy.
Comfortable room, comfortable bed, but the bathroom is small, the bathtub is with the shower, it has nowhere to hold when it is in the bath, slippery, it does not have a washbasin with the toilet.
Mercure Hotel can improve bathroom conditions.
This wont be the five star experience you are looking for. Regardless the pretentiousness of the staff the rooms are very old and in extreme need of renovation. There is a nice pool area but without a bar only a few tables that are full of mosquitos. So the bar is inside where from 8 pm to 11.30 pm there is everyday a band playing wich after a full day of sightseeing its the last thing you want.
I hope they will renovate!
5 stars hotel near Mandalay hill, with pool and 3 restaurants.High price.
Breakfast is very delicious and Swimming pool is very clean.
Great tourist hotel at the foot of Mandalay Hill. Try not to eat at the hotel restaurants though. They are horribly overpriced.
Typical hotel of this category and chain (Arcor Group). It lacks the individual charm. That's why only four points
The hotel is brilliant and room is awesome but the song at downstair too loud, I can't sleep well but it is OK.
The room is not big, the building materials and facilities are old! But the breakfast restaurant, the back garden, and the spa gardens all have a Burmese royal style, which is worth seeing!
Good hotel for the price you are paying. But service levels of the staff needs an updating : service at the lobby bar is slow, service at the buffet breakfast is sub par - the buffet closed about fifteen minutes past while we were still there having our breakfast, and the staff s way of telling us that the buffet was already closed was by standing beside our table. Two feet away. Literally. Spooking us to leave. Rooms are old and dreary. Toilet and bath none the better. The hotel needs a renovation soon.
Comfortable hotel, beautiful pool but the rooms deserve a technical upgrade to the bathrooms and electricity.
Mandalay Hill Resort Hotel, situated at the foot of Mandalay Hill, is one of the leading hotels in Mandalay and will return to the AccorHotels fold as Mercure Mandalay Hill Resort Hotel. In addition, a new hotel, the Mandalay Hill MGallery by Sofitel, will be built to adjoin to the Mercure Mandalay Hill Resort, while Centrepoint Grand Hotel Yangon will be rebranded as Pullman Yangon Centrepoint.
Today s announcement represents a significant partnership with AccorHotels and combines the expertise of a truly global hospitality company with strong local market expertise.
Myanmar is one of the most sought-after destinations in Southeast Asia since lifting of sanctions, said Lertsak Nopburanand, director of LP Holding Co.,Ltd.
The Mandalay Hill Resort opened in 1995 under Accor s global brand Novotel. After EU sanctions were imposed in 2002, Accor relinquished both Novotel Mandalay and Sofitel Project Yangon.
Such a lovely, heavenly place! The atmosphere is great, the breakfast is exquisite, the garden is like paradise. Make sure you check out the garden around the spa, it's a real adventure and it feels like a dream if you explore it!
Located at the foot of Mandalay Hill, very spacious hotel. Spa, swimming pool, souvenir shop, cafe and bakery, restaurant, fitness center, tourist service counter, all facilities you can think of and needed.
That Mercure Mandalay Hill Resort was a welcome sight after a big day of sightseeing including transferring from our previous accomodation.
Very nice hotel with attentive staff, but very, very small rooms. Also you can hear the neighbor room and the flushing of the rooms in the floor above a clear.
Rooms a bit aged but great class/style and service.
Fancy place for Mandalay but comes with rolling blackouts. Old building with renovations makes this an interesting place to stay.
Nice hotel but problem with the elevators because there are only 2 for 200 rooms
Nice hotel with the guy room director very nice guy and sew sew tun at the restaurant is very good serves
Great house. Great service and a fantastic pool area.
Majestic structure but old ... bathroom without shower ... first time traveling ...
Excellent. Breakfast is terrific and very tasty and delicious
Just one bad thing about it is the juice
The fruit is wonderful, both papya and mango are very tasty
The staff is very friendly and helpful
Swimmingpool is great and so is the fitness
Good room, good atmosphere, beautiful view, staff have to get good service.
Really nice and beautiful hotel. Amazing spa a d swimming pool. Good food.

Very nice and friendly staff. bar with live music available at night. Good location
Great hotel with nice swimming pool and sport clubs. But pricey.
Good location, room and staff.
poor internet speed.
Big, secluded swimming pool with poor bar allows you some peace. Room is a bit dated, and WIFI doesn't work well. Service is fine. Often long wait when booking Grab rides (car or motorbike). Decent breakfast spread. Bar live singing band is not so good.
Very nice hotel at the bottom of Mandalay hill. Very close to the old downtown area
Well run international hotel with fantastic service
The view is quite good up there. Unfortunately, very touristy, most tourists avoid the climb and let off high driving. With luck, you can enjoy a beautiful sunset over the Irrawaddy!

Nice hotel and great staffs. One thing I would request they improve immediately is the amount of mosquitos in the lobby, bar and restaurant downstairs. If you can prevent it then have mosquitoes spray near by for the guest to use.
It is at the top of the hill its views are impressive the room is very beautiful
really nice compound and view. all are in best services.
I moved to Mercury because Hilton had some water issues. Hotel is a little aged but well managed. Must try the massage. Highly recommended.
Nice Pool and within walking distance of Mandalay Hill and many other attractions.
Good service. Big hotel. Too much cement floor around the pool.
Beautiful common areas and friendly staff. Prices at the restaurant aren't too bad given it's exclusive nature.
Great breakfast and great pool & outdoor area. Room only average.
