Great hotel, just know that the hotel is not within walking distance of the center. I was mistaken about that. Furthermore, friendly service and neat rooms. It is strange that you as a guest have to pay for parking your car.

I'm better used to Novotel. In itself great rooms and breakfast. Shuttle bus somewhat disappointing, only there and full. Half an hour walk to the city (boring route too). Breakfast fine. I think paying for parking is a bit unnecessary. Building somewhat dated. For a visit to the city where you think that the hotel is part of the experience, I would recommend looking a little more towards the center.
Very good as a Hotel both in terms of tranquility and the availability of staff and rooms. Games room for children with x boxes for older children. Only note to make the costs of very high additional services such as breakfast and parking. For links to the center there are buses or you rent the bikes means very common and used in the Netherlands.
We had a nice upgrade room (free of charge) with a separate toilet! Nice bathroom. The breakfast was good and sufficient. Checked in on Sunday. Because the restaurant is closed on Sundays, we have had the food delivered by Thuisbezorgd.nl. The reception was not a problem. Walking to the center was 20 min. Took a taxi on the way back for 9.50. This company has special rates for Novotel guests. We will certainly return again
Overnight the car was broken into in the hotel parking lot and the bike stolen, as with several other guests.ok can happen in Maastricht But there is not even a camera surveillance on the part of the hotel which leaves quite a few things about the attitude of the hotel management in relation to the security of the guests and their belongings, so if you arrive by car, the rooms no longer correspond to the Novotel standard.
I have mixed feelings about this hotel. It doesn't seem like a 4 star and seems understaffed. It is simple and has lovely garden with a small pool. I requested a new mattress on my second night as the form felt worn out and I was caving in. I suffered shoulder and backpain the next morning. Reception said they would replace the mattress, not sure if the did but I slept well that night. So I believe something good happened. After breakfast I asked one waiter if he had a banana so that I can give to my son later. Unfortunately the kitchen had none. Before leaving I ordered lunch, however it delayed, my son 2yrs kept crying for choco pops cereals, seated outside pointing to breakfast buffet still displayed. So I went inside, I asked the a gentleman if it was possible to take some choco pops for my son. He said it wasn't possible. I told my son, he cried a while then was fine. The morning buffet was satisfactory, with a lot in variety, the lunch and pizza was also to a happy standard. All in all I had a lovely time and would recommend this place to anyone
Great hotel. 15 minutes from the station. Free delivery service to the station and center. Excellent breakfast and very friendly staff at the reception. Clean room with comfortable beds, safe etc. The only point of attention is that during dinner the staff must remove the dirty plates etc. from the tables.
Hotel just outside the center. Ideal for a short stay with the family. The rooms are not overly large, but Maastricht is also too nice to stay in your hotel room. The breakfast buffet is good. There are many places outside where you can sit and lie down. The outdoor swimming pool is fine. Snacks and drinks from the restaurant can also be ordered at the swimming pool. The hotel is very close to the A2 tunnel. This makes it ideal for a stopover.
Great Hotel. Very friendly and accurate staff. Clean tidy rooms. View of a garden that looks dirty and poorly maintained. Food is great. Nice shuttle bus to the center. 33 minutes walk. Strange that parking has to be paid with a hefty amount and that it is 10 meters down the street for free.
Room was clean but a bit out of date. Mattress should be changed. Staff at the bar and front desk very sympathic. Food at the restaurant was rather good. As a pet owner I recommend
Just a good hotel our little man of 2 loved it, a swimming pool, children's corner, playground the rooms practically furnished, breakfast was good, friendly staff, good beds, tea made in the room, always first check whether the kettle is clean ( lime) this was spotlessly clean really super 2 points: very soft pillows and note the bus does go to the center but not back !! Furthermore, top notch
In particular, this hotel is rated unsatisfactory for price / quality. 150 euros per night. I have already slept in much cheaper hotels where it was simply much better. If you ask this price then I expect a little more. Especially the noise in the rooms is ENORMOUSLY disturbing. I could almost follow the conversations of my neighbors. Ok there were renovations and that must of course also be done, but then they can give the guests as compensation because if you are drilled out of bed by a drill at 9 am I can expect something for inconveniences. Just a big poster size sorry is not enough for sure if you want to radiate class. In short, a hotel that urgently needs to look in its own bosom because location is not an asset (on the ring road of Maastricht), rooms are clean but nothing more, .... The staff is friendly though, so these people cannot do anything about it. This is policy.
In the hottest period of the summer stayed here. Hotel room with air conditioning! The AC could remain even if you were not in the room. A small fridge in the room, welcoming, a bottle of water was in and there was enough space to put something in itself to keep cool. Friendly staff. Overall a great place to take the heat, it was 38 degrees outside, to survive!
Very good hotel. Staff always friendly and available. Room faithful to the standard of the mark. A special congratulations to the quality of the restaurant.
Very, very friendly staff, clean and tidy. Flat screen TV, sound box etc. but some criticisms: - unfortunately it was very loud. The hotel is indeed traffic-calmed and from cars is nothing to hear but the hotel itself is incredibly poorly insulated. You can hear every toilet flush, shower, door of the neighbors and the extremely loud and especially from 06:00 clock in the morning on a Sunday (and public holiday). So if you are looking for a hotel for a relaxing holiday should possibly bring earplugs! For meetings or activities where you get up very early anyway no problem. - There is a free shuttle to the city. Attention! Early booking otherwise always full and the shuttle does not return. Here you can change to a cooperating taxi company (8.50 ). - Those who like to reach their destination on foot should be aware that the hotel is not directly in the city center of Maastricht, but 2.5 km outside. If you like running but no problem!
The hotel is very good but the city tax kills you, it cannot be that they charge you 4.73, it is more expensive than Paris. I don't know what these Dutch are. It is seen that they do not want tourists. They charge you to put the car anywhere even in the outskirts of the city. It seems to me that they realized that charging the highway is very cheap but when it comes to parking the car, you have to leave it somewhere, and wherever you want to put it, they plug in a little machine there to charge you, but even in small towns they charged me 4.63 per hour.
Everyone is nice and helpful. Rooms are well kept. Food is great with a pretty good variety. Hotel is in walking distance of train station and center of town or you can take their shuttle.
Although it is with pool but in the handicapped accessible room was no raised toilet and the room was not so adapted. We lacked a cupboard. There was something to hang but for two persons too small. Would not book there.
A hotel like you don't see that often anymore. Good service, friendly service, nice room, air conditioning (rare in Dutch hotels!), Good restaurant, shuttle bus to the city. Worth repeating!
We enjoyed it great starting point to Maastricht to explore room was neat and good had breakfast and were very satisfied delicious and good selection the bar was very pleasant to switch off me as a smoker has only a pleasant place to smoke was missing than the door go especially in the evening when the weather was not so good and the front desk could be a bit more attentive even if you just pass as a plus point I see the shuttle service to centrum at the unfortunately only sunday to noon drives but there is also a good regulation with a local taxi company
Very welcome, spacious room.ideale for a couple with 2 children. The friendly staff, and the breakfast is to die for! There is something for everyone. Very well located, 20 min walk to the center. 100% order
Everything was almost perfect. Very long in the restaurant the first evening, much faster the second. Very good room, gargantuan breakfast. The welcome was perfect and they take the time to help you. Iris, many thanks for your help on the way out.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, we had issues with our evening meal with very slow service to the point where we had to leave before our desserts, fortunately the staff were understanding and sent them as room service. Had to pay for parking, even though the barrier was up and it is nowhere near anything, so not sure why this is.
Good hotel for a night. Great rooms and good breakfast. Service at the bar left something to be desired. The ministry that ran there did not look up or down and said nothing to us
Actually quite expensive for what you get for it, even despite a superior room booking you have to pay a parking fee and it takes a long time to check in A bit dull hotel while I used to be quite satisfied with it No, I prefer to use Vaeshartelt again, which is alive and parking is free and you will have your room pass
A weekend away in Corona time together, not the best period for a best experience, but we can only say that all the staff show a great commitment, are friendly and helpful. Everything has been thought of with regard to protection against covid-19, but the rooms are also beautiful, modern and complete. After the first night I had a tiny problem with a sound, after reporting we were nicely offered another room! We used the breakfast service and dinner during the weekend. Everything in accordance with the rules for a safe breakfast and dinner! Good quality and delicious food!
The only downside is paid parking for hotel guests, we do not fully understand that.
Thank you for your hospitality! Stay healthy everyone
In itself was a good hotel. But there were some points that I was not happy about. The TV went out every 4 minutes. Cooling did not work and the breakfast was not that special.
Breakfast is basic where you can only serve once because of covid. Parking your car at the hotel costs 8 euros per night (ridiculous). Do not come here with more than 2 people, because then the rest have to sleep on a folding seat which sleeps ridiculously badly, you can feel the metal parts in your back and the pillows will hurt your neck. Even the 'superior' room is just too small for 2 adults and 2 young children. I haven't come back since, 100m further is a Van Der Valk Hotel, I know which one to choose next time.
Mediocre... not very expensive but much less luxurious than expected for the price. Still, not bad just not as good as hoped for. Bed was really not very good at all.
This hotel is decent and the breakfast is decent to good too. The room I stayed in was fine too but nothing special and nothing that could justify that price that I paid for. The room was quite got and I couldn't fully open the windows to let some air in. And when I looked at the thermostat, it was already on the lowest point making me believe it didn't work, but I didn't call or check with the staff to be sure since it was at 3am. The fruits they served for breakfast was actually very good and they deserve many compliments for that. They also had some sausages which tasted better than most. The bed was also very comfortable but the blankets weren't that of a good quality. Overall I would say that the hotel is decent but not for the price I had to pay, which was around 170 a day. If it's was 60 euros a day I would give it 5 stars. The price quality ratio needs improvement
