My mother at 95 was hospitalized following a fracture of the femur and treated with positive results. The nursing staff proved to be polite and prepared, unfortunately (perhaps due to lack of staff) especially in the evening the calls were answered after several minutes. Another sore point is the monotonous eating and sometimes not cooked as it should be, in addition to the TV in the non-functioning rooms.

Maternity ward, gynecology: staff very helpful and prepared. Courteous and very good doctors. The building is beautiful, new and comfortable. Performance expectations are fairly well organized.
At the spinal unit there is a nurse who acts like a doctor. He goes to the sick and says that the recovery is not subjective but objective, that they will have to stay very hospitalized and this does not help the psychological state of the patients !!!!! Shame on you!
Definitely a department of excellence .... Old building but recently renovated properly. The only flaw is that the TV plays badly which would help to pass the time waiting for the interventions and in the hospitalization but it is a bit uncomfortable because it is paid and you have to go to the ground floor to the totem pole.
I was treated for osteomyelitis post surgery fracture of the tibia with application of means of synthesis. I was afraid of not being able to walk anymore due to the bad infection. Thanks to the infinite professionalism and humanity of Dr. Sangiovanni who removed the infected plaque and placed an external fixator, that I have worn for about six months, today I am better and gradually I am starting to walk again even if with a bit of effort. Really thank you for the great and simple humanity and competence of Dr. Sangiovanni of the Coordinator Mrs. Guarino and of all the components of the nurses department and so kind and competent observers. An example of how much excellence in Italian health is unfortunately only in some regions. Thanks to all Raffaello Bitonte.
The switchboard operator hung up. For the next 7 IMMEDIATELY attempts he let it ring. At eighth someone else passed me, 10 minutes waiting with classical music, who knows how many more will pass before someone answers (IF he answers) !!
Endless waiting times ... doctors on WhatsApp laughing and joking .. courtesy 0 ... the answer they gave me why being on the internet instead of looking at a patient ??? was :: and but, they are waiting the x-ray of the patient who had entered ... be ashamed ... I had accompanied my husband (transferred from another hospital outside tuscany, tt ready x-rays and atac, analysis) he had three pelvis and shoulder fractures (he wanted to come near home)) ) but the dear doctors of careggi nn had time to look at an x-ray already made and for them three fractures nn was a serious situation ... we left after a wait of almost 3 hours ... and tt the other patients to complain .. a star only for the name that bears this structure for the rest nn I have more words..we went to another hospital not even the time to arrive and my husband already had hospitalization ... anyway thanks I always have a great respect for those save lives ....
