Incredibly pushy sales team. I imagined these kinds of sales tactics were gone a decade ago. Persistent in attempts to scaremonger potential clients into signing over with misleading pitches such as a 120% increase in energy bills post Brexit" Advice to the business owner sack your training team and advise your staff to not chase the sale but chase the service. You will most defiantly not be getting my business.

Bradley Okeeffe deals with our energy accounts and makes sure all is correct. at first i thought i had a problem which i then got full confirmation all was correct and he explained everything nice and clear. i would advise on using him.

Always on hand to guide me through the intricacies of Power renewals and explain them in layman's terms. Not a bad bloke either! Sick of my company getting nuisance calls from these people. We've asked to be removed from their call list several times and told them in no uncertain terms that we're not interested in their services, but they are still cold calling at least once a week. This is harrassment!

we at Wetherells have used northern gas & power for our recent gas & electric. Anthony Lydon is our new account manager and we've been impressed by the ease in which our accounts have been done.

Constant sales calls even though I have asked to be removed from their database and I subscribe to TPS. Just reported them.

It's very valuable to have a team that takes all the time and effort out of looking securing the next energy contract, it really does free up a lot of my time that can be spent taking care of other jobs. They don't spam you with calls but they do keep in touch to make sure that there are no problems, and to advise on what the best options are. Craig Boyes and Michael Gates have gone above and beyond to fix an issue that we had at literally the eleventh hour, and it's been great to have one less thing to worry about.

Incredibly unprofessional, scaremongering people into signing contacts. Most of the 5* are from employees.

Consistently targeting the charity I represent with their underhand selling techniques. This despite having been repeatedly told we are not interested and that we wish for them to stop contacting us.

Have now reported them to OFGEM.

Staff attitude also leaves a lot to be desired.

Five months on from this post, NGP continue to harass our charity with aggressive sales techniques, lies and misinformation. This despite written assurances from them that it would stop immediately.

Please ignore all the fake reviews from people employed by NGP (nearly all these reviews made by people/fake companies that have only ever reviewed NGP and nothing else) and see these crooks for the scum that they are.

Get you to sign a conttact then you have no help or back up with problems unless you are willimg to sign into a longer contract

Jon Dent was very patient and understanding and answered all of our queries.

Nuisance company. Have been calling upto 3 times a day every day cold calling. We tell them every time we do not want there services and we are on the telephone preference service. Yet they keep calling even after complain!! They have been reported.

Nasty aggressive sales people. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR TIME.

Northern gas and power consultancy really helped my husband and I during a very problematic time we had been having with Npower. Our out of contract tariffs were huge and completely out of control. Our NGP representative Ahssan was instrumental in helping us come to a fair and manageable agreement with Npower as well as negotiating our move to a new company recommended by him. I don t know what we would have done had I not heard about NGP. They truly care about their customers and do the very best for them! Thank you so much NGP.

Do not use this company! They come across as nice and friendly but it's all a scam. They tell you they are getting you the "best rates" but then they put a huge uplift in the contract and dont tell you. My business went bust. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Easy to work with - only suggestion is perhaps making sure their CRM is up to date as I received a call after signing a contract as a new opportunity even though we were already a customer.

We dealt with Darren Ward in regards to our renewals, he was very helpful and helped us procure the best deal, we would highly recommend him and would use him again.

Energy Review
Bradley O'K and Chris A assisted the College in the tender process for the Energy contracts and made the whole process easier and hopefully a smooth transition will take place at the end of our current contract.
The College will make a substantial saving on its gas and electricity contracts and also with some additional meters readers and usage analysis as part of the service the College will hopefully benefit from reduced usage making it more sustainable. Both Bradley and Chris were very helpful when we were negotiating prices and suppliers across our sites.

I have used David Pycroft at Northern Gas and Power for both our gas and electric renewals now. David has done an amazing job at finding me brilliant contracts for both utilities and is a fountain of knowledge, always giving excellent explanations behind supply trends reinforcing my confidence in him and the company, NGP.

I receive lots of calls from utility supply companies hoping to mange the contracts for my business. I'm always suspicious of working with companies like this having had poor experiences in the past, but Ryan (my dedicated account manager) struck me as honest from the start. It was clear that he had my best interests in mind and patiently understood my needs.

Bradley O'keeffe has taken care of our accounts since 2017 now and does monthly meter reads for us aswell as taken care of all energy matters across our sites. i recommend him and ngp

Yasmin Hoganson worked very hard on our behalf to secure the provision of suitable smart meter by our new electricity suppliers. When we switched over our old meter was not connecting with the new providers and at first they were not willing to replace it. Yasmin tirelessly and diplomatically kept on the case for over 3 months until we finally got the result that we so desperately needed as a smart meter is vital when running a business efficiently.

As a business owner, dealing with electricity contracts and renewals can be extremely Daunting, one can easily find themselves confused and full of anxiety When making these decisions. Working with Faraz at Northern gas and power the process was made hassle free, and it was comforting knowing that in the ever changing business landscape that there is still a company who actively looks out for the best interests of its customers. My contract was signed and set up within a few days and I received a great deal which several other companies could not match. I fully recommend anyone in the hospitality industry to work with Northern gas and power, espevially with individuals like Faraz who are a big asset to their company.

Joel was very polite and friendly although he was obviously new as he had to refer me to a more experienced sales person. I felt Jake was a little pushy at first however he did take the time to explain things that I was concerned about. It was obvious to me that a " script " is used when training this sales team; just the right amount of first name used, little comments about the weather and how busy we all are etc. Felt it was laid on a little too thickly however I did sign the contracts so it can't have put me off too much!

H S Richards are only a small company in comparison to many people whom they must deal with on a day to day basis, but feel as though we were treated just as importantly throughout the process. Would have no issues in recommending their services.

I have been dealing with Richard Crichton for electricity contracts and have no issues. He says what he does and does what he says. Can't ask for better customer service than that. Maintain that and we will be happy to continue our relationship, which will be a comfort after our previous broker experiences.

A professional, prompt and efficient business to deal with

After dealing with energy companies directly for quite some time and having little success with brokers, NGP have been able to secure us excellent rates with providers. We are pleased to have had the opportunity to deal with the excellent combination of Gavin Taylor and Anthony Price who were honest, responsive and helpful at all points. We are hoping that ongoing account and bill monitoring by NGP will reduce the hassle involved in billing issues and identify issues early.
