People are nice, mostly... Service is top shelf. Rooms are adequate. Had no heat in November.

I would love to work there after I attended as a patient. I was impressed by the fast paced action, and the fact that they do listen and identify what is truly an emergency. Very friendly, and seem like a great workplace!!

Just had my 3rd baby last month March. I will keep saying it, what's good is good! LIJ is the best hospital in NYC . I had all my 3 kids here. I believe the hospital has perfect and selected caregivers. Very professional, competent, extremely caring nurses and Doctors. My appreciation goes to my GYN, Dr Allen Toles, Dr Valerie Altman and her colleague, and the nurses that took wonderful care after my post partum @ the hospital. I say THANK YOU AND KEEP IT UP.

Unfare at the Emergency I was so sick and I am afraid they have discrimination

One of the worst hospitals emergencies service ever. My wife is pregnant about 6 week and she is been put into high risk pregnancies. She was having severe pain I mentioned to the emergency department that she is on high risk. Doctor came and told us we will do blood test and ultrasound and in the mean time we will give her something for the pain. They kept us on hold for about 4 hours with no pain killers. I went back and forth to the nurse for painkillers but they were making taking us seriously. Long story short I left wife my wife from the emergency with the IV in her hand. That's how bad we were been treated.

Today I used the parking service and I stole approximately 8 dollars in coins that I always keep in my car for the necessary thing !!!! They all stole them! They did not leave me anything! the figure is not important, the matter is more in depth, the hospital seemed very good but it can not be that your service staff has those tricks of stealing coins! Please, if you are going to use the parking service, do not leave anything of value and check your car well before leaving!

It was worst experience with my pregnant wife .my waif are suffering her abdominal pain . We was there 8 PM But 2 am we haven t see the doctor. At the I came out from the hospital to the other hospitals

Absolutely horrible. I wish I could give le as stars but cant. Their billing practices should be illegal, they demand payment at time of service and then bill you months later for the same visit. Theaten with collections. The costumer service will point blank lye to you and tell you it is corrected when they know it's not. Since northwell took over it has gone completely down hill. Anybody leaving a positive review either works there or is probably lying

HORRIBLE , HORRIBLE hospital!!! Words alone can't honestly say how horrible this hospital is . The staff including the doctors , nurses are very inconsiderate , heartless and unreliable. I had my surgery there and I can't say in words what I have experienced let alone the inhumanity. I had to undergo surgery and had no choice since my surgeon was only affiliated with this hospital ( which also defines the horrible surgeons they have as well ) . I am writing this review for people to open their eyes and think twice of going to Long Island Jewish Hospital for their medical necessities . I also felt their was a huge sense of anti -semitism there which made me sick to my stomach . It is like they have picked up I staff from the streets with zero qualification. I've never been so disappointed. It's a shame. Worst hospital I have ever been too!!!

The worst HOSPITAL EVER. WAITING TIME IN THE EMERGENCY ROOM IS 3 hr. And you ask them after 3 hrs they tell you another hr. How is this the ER when a patient with a high BP of 223 has to wait 3 hrs. INSANE. PLEASE IF YOU DONT WANT TO DIE DONT COME TO THIS HOSPITAL. STAFF IS UNPROFESSIONAL. RUDE NO SENSE OF ANYTHING AND NEVER A DOCTOR ON SITE. ALWAYS SHORT OF DOCTORS.

Gave birth to my 1st child here in January. Most nurses were nice but would disappear for hours. We would get woken up constantly throughout the night by staff. The billing department is the most unorganized and so unprofessional. The day I was being discharged a lady came in and told me I needed to pay my deductible. I made the payment and they still have not returned my numerous calls to speak to a supervisor because my deductible thru my insurance was paid with other medical bills. I've recieved bills but everytime I call I get the run around that they are still going back and forth with my insurance and my account is on hold. I've requested a refund numerous times as I'm not working and they are refusing to give me my money back. I get a different answer everytime I speak to someone. I'm on the verge of getting a lawyer to manage this situation because no one is giving me an answer. I wish I never came to this hospital. I've received better care at wyckoff hospital but this place came highly recommended. This hospital is the worst!

My wife is 22 weeks pregnant. She fills unwell today. I take her lij emergency. Me and my sick wife 6 hours waiting here still they saying we are bottom list. I don t know what is emergency? What there service.?

This was hands down the worst hospital I have ever been to in my whole 20 years of existence. I sat in the waiting room for 3 hours just to be put in a group room. I stayed for a total of 6 hours and left with no answers! I came with a cough and a headache and all I got was a stupid x ray and I needle in my arm. There were no doctors just nurses taking guesses! I got stabbed up a whole bunch of times and my IV started bleeding! DO NOT COME HERE!!

Absolutely horrible place to go for care. I recently spent almost 12 hours there in the ER after a fainting episode during chemo. I asked for water 8 times and finally got some after my eighth request. Was left out in the hall only to wait. Was told that I was to be admitted to the tele unit all the while with no monitor until approximately 4:30 pm after being there since approximately 8:30 AM! I called the Director of Emergency Medicines office and was told by Ashley I would receive a call back. Alas just like that day in the ER no action or call. You folks need to drop back and seriously assess your work load and/or your staffing requirements as your present plan is atrociously sub standard. I spoke to numerous folks including my insurance company and my lawyer as to assess my options for a lawsuit and my impending bills which I am so sure will not take as long as the ER wait for nought. I highly recommend you don't go here unless you like being pushed in a hallway and being forgot about.

I've been sitting here for three hours in the emergency room crying my eyes out at the obvious pain that I am in I have work in 2 hrs and have been here since 10:30 pm this is the most horrific experience of my life not only have I been sitting here in pain for three hours but I have to sit here and watch as the entire staff blankly dismiss any type of pain I am in. Not only that there were two people who arrived here after me and yet they were seen and I was not. I implore you, your company and your emotive staff Long Island Jewish hospital. Please at least PRETEND to care about the patients that walk through your these doors.

BE AWARE ! AVOID THAT PLACE, THEY WILL SCREW YOU! I was visiting the area and took my 1 year old daughter to the URGENT CARE because she had a mild fever that wouldn't break. I got two bills that amounted to about $700. I do have insurance, I have a low deductible plan with United Healthcare through work. I contacted Long Island Jewish and was told that the $700 was a discounted bill. Apparently, if you simply walk through the doors of the URGENT CARE you get charged $800 without even seeing a Dr. and then you get charged separately for the physician. This is OBSCENE! In my case, because of my insurance coverage, the "facility fee" was reduced from $800 to $400. Mind you, I did NOT to to an emergency room, $800 is the FACILITY FEE once you walk in the door and give your name. Apparently the FACILITY FEE for the ER is over $2,000.

My daughter wasn't even diagnosed properly. That happened when we got home and went to her pediatrician.

This Northwell Health is a good example of the GREED that's pervasive with some healthcare providers, they are a perfect example of what's wrong with the healthcare system.

The Drs there nearly killed my uncle with not only botched surgery but even more botched emergency surgery during a simple arthroscopic kidney procedure. I just hope he survives this butchery and desires to live again.

I got my C section done here because I thought it was the best of the best. However, the doctors did not even offer my husband to cut umbilical cord, some of the nurses were so aggressive with the needles and to top it all when I was leaving the hospital I wasn t even offered a wheel chair nor was I even seen by nurse with my departure

Omg, I arrived from out of state to go see my poor uncle and he looked so dirty and smelly. His hair was so greasy. The room was dirty and so was the lounge area. Big dirty bandaid on the floor with some trash. But the entrance looks like a million dollars. They make sure that looks clean. Not careing for the place for my first visit there..

My grandfather was admitted to the hospital for esophageal cancer surgery on 8/18/20. He needed to be hospitalized for a week after the operation. He was well taken care of during this period. I am especially grateful for the professionalism of Siobhan Mccann RN SCCU. Her energy and patience made me feel relieved knowing he was in good hands.

It's very sad how I seen this place treat us like it's all about business/insurance money and nothing else, I have been in and out of here with my 80 year old dad for a few months and this last time my dad was here for 3 weeks and 1 day, between those 3 weeks I also delivered a baby in the same hospital for which I was hospitalized for 4 days! I'm sure in those 3 weeks between my dad and I they got over 200k out of our insurance. My dad only speaks Spanish and is a very educated and kind individual, to whom the service was awful, all they did for the first 2 weeks was drug him up with pain killers, the staff didn't have recorded on file many things, like when was his last super catheter replaced, he didn't get showered by anyone on the 1st week, his room was very dirty when I would visit, his urine bag wouldn't get drained or cleaned from blood clots which would make his UTI worst. I had to start speaking to the nurse manager on the 5th FL and tell them how serious I was about my dad's health in order for them to start actually doing studies to try to help my dad and not just keep him there on pain medication, also after a week of been there, staff would call me to ask me why was my dad admitted to the hospital? , really? You are the doctors and medical professionals why are you asking me this after a week of him being there?, it's ridiculous how many patients each nurse and doctor has, how could they possibly really focus on my dad, doctors would walk in and not know anything about my dad, doctors wouldn't know when we're the MRIS happening, yet they would postpone my dad everytime, they also didn't know many other things, so sad what the abuse, what a guinea pig my father was to this place, I have some pictures of the way the room looked, wish I can make this go viral, in my 30 years of life I have never signed on to a website to give complains, but this is a must..... it's someone's life not merchandise from a retail store like we got treated, as far as my delivery, the staff in the nursery were very unfriendly not a smile, the PCA would walk in the room sign her hourly signature sheet and not ask if I needed anything, however the other PCA was great, she helped me shower after my c section and more, God bless her and one of the nurses too.

hands down the worst place to bring someone when they need medical attention waited 14 hours in the emergency department and so far 2 days in a room waiting to take tests bring your loved ones anywhere else

Terrible follow up. I went in for fever and extreme exhaustion no flu. They took me in for TB isolated me after 3 days when the test came back negative to TB they spat me out and released me with any proper follow up. I m disgusted. Why is this hospital suppose to me so amazing. When I have called for the tests results that were not back when I checked out. I have been on the phone for 1.5 hour and then line get disconnected. What kind of a crazy place is this. They did what they wanted to for department of health and Tb guidelines and did nothing for me. Shame on you even the next endo appointment that I m suppose to see ina week is 4 weeks out. Messed up. Be ware of this please !!

Do not give birth here. If you do, make sure you always have someone competent to advocate on behalf of you. Thank god, my husband was there with me or medical staff would have put me in a wheel chair while I was trying to alert them that the baby was coming. He had to get stern with them and tell them not to put me in the wheel chair more than once because the baby was coming. Then they decided to check me. You would think, after having me sit waiting for 25 minutes in the admissions room where you are checked and hooked up to machines to check the contractions, they would check the machines to see the contractions were happening very close together. What's the point of hooking me up to the machines? Is it just to rack up a hospital bill? And most importantly, you would think before putting any pregnant woman having contractions in a wheel chair and it being clearly visible that her water just broke, they would check her to see if crowning was happening. After this wheelchair ordeal, they decided to wheel me on the same bed to the delivery room and during this time they kept telling me to hold the baby in?!? I am as confused as you are right now, how do you hold a baby in?

There were some staff who were excellent, such as the Nurses who care for you after the baby is delivered. The PCAs are horrible end have an attitude. One told me at 1am in the morning, after she came to pick my baby up for a test and she brought him back, that it was not her responsibility to change a dirty diaper. You mean to tell me, the PCA could not change my baby, instead she had him stay in poop the entire time she had him. I had my baby with me during my entire stay, he was never in the nursery. (I wouldn't be surprised if there are nursery charges on my bill for the entire stay because I was told that is what they do.)
I wish I chose another hospital. Service is not as it used to be. I decided on this hospital because service was excellent in 2013 when I gave birth to my first. I couldn't wait to leave. There is so much more I could say. Never again.

Professional Nurses. Caring and skilled in their practice

I came here once to the ER a long time ago and it was amazing but now its soooo horrible in the ER. They did a lot of testing and even though I had chills, a fever, headache, and nauseated they had no diagnosis for me but one of the viral infections in the world... You can tell some of there nurses and doctors are new and unexperienced. Took them forever to give me something for the fever. They gave me a covid test and shoved it so far and hard down my nose that it hit the back wall and bent!!! Yes it bent! Thats not normal as I had the test done twice already before my surgery and that same day at another doctor. Then they left all these plug in stickers on my chest and side and as well took the IV needle out of my arm so recklessly and didn't even put pressure on it so I bled fully through the cotton where I had to have them change it. And the best yet the resident doctor saying "this happens..." ummm no it doesn't it only happens if you don't do it properly. This place is getting worse and worse.

Your Cardiologist Nisha Pillai was on National News in India Advising women - to stay away from temples during menstrualtion - She said it causes Endometriosis. I seriously worry about her patients.

Was approved for surgery 3 weeks ago not one person from personal has gotten back to me it s a very nice hospital but when I cal them they tell me to hold on they are on a personal phone call on there cell phone the only true professional woman there was Chantelle

I was there over night the whole visit was great the only thing I was confused with was when I was being moved from the recovery room to my room the oneeeee person not even a nurse moved me all by myself and my sister even asked aren't you going to get help he said of I do this all the time.My sister later went to the head nurse from the recovery room and ask her is this normal, she acted dumb to the whole thing and said she will talk to the nurses upstairs. I just left cause hey what about down here he moved her from here first. like I said the besides that one thing the staff was great

My mom fell in her apt. & I rqstd LIJ. Since mom has been here, all she keeps saying how much so loves the employees & hospital.

If I could give no star I would've, my dad got admitted here 3 months ago, someone went into his room and stole his glasses as they took him to do a procedure after the procedure they then transferred him to another floor and left his jacket it took an hour to get it back as I had to go to the room he was in and ask a nurse to check the new patients stuff (which they had) to retrieve it all the while still searching for his glasses. We filled out a report and was told after the fact that they would reimburse us for a replacement glasses (his previous glasses was name brand as is the jacket) to date we have not received any reimbursement for the glasses. I sent an email to the lady who was incharge of the case a month ago who said they will send a check for the invoice from the eye glass store within 7-10 days, maybe I can't count but its been more than 30 days. Worse hospital and really the food has no taste at all.

So bad service. Im here for my preagnency pain 6 hours waiting still they saying me im at bottom list. I don t know when I see the doctor.

The worst hospital 10 years ago I had a cesarean section and the anesthesiologist hurt a nerve in my spine that almost left me paralyzed and when I told them I would take him to court they threatened to take my baby away and they forced me to sign papers not to sue them . They are monsters.

The people I saw in this hospital should not come especially to see that my family suffered from the unprofessional service of nurses and nursing staff. Many nurses are very unprofessional. I am very disappointed. The quality of the nursing staff is very bad. I regret that my father came here to see a doctor. .

Only to be in severe pain, be transferred to This hospital from Urgent Care with a serious health scare ...only to wait in pain for 4hrs...
What is the point! Someone will die in the waiting room while the nurses and PA's talk about how long they've been at the hospital, laughing, and joking!! Don't Go heree unless you want to DIE!

It's funny that the start of the comment section ask's what I liked about LIJ. The answer is nothing, my mother went into the gyn clinic on the third floor for an appointment. They told her she needed to go to the emergency room for high blood pressure (Yes you read that right, their reasoning was high blood pressure). After waiting for 4 hours she was not seen at all but was told she needed to stay to see the Dr. I finally told her they can't legally hold her without reason or being seen (because she wasn't in a room or hooked up to any monitors). She told them she wanted to leave and go see a specialist about the issue within the next few days to which the nurses told her that she shouldn't leave and needed to wait another two hours to see a Dr. about the emergency.... I'm still trying to figure out how you classify something an emergency and then expect them to wait 6 hours to be seen for said emergency. I nor anyone in my family will ever be going back to this hospital. I'm beyond pissed with what they call service. The hospital should seriously reconsider how their emergency room is operated. And for the record she had a 4:30 appointment at the gyn got their at 3:50 was not seen till 5:30, she was wheeled down to the emergency room at 5:45, and finally left at 10 after they told her she had to wait another 2 hours.

Great service except for a few disorderly attiudes.

The ER is as useless as it gets. What is the point of having an Emergency Room if you re going to make patients wait 3+ hours? Even if they have severe issues? I had to ask the front desk every hour when I ll be getting called whereas people who came after me got called before me. What kind of a facility is this if you can t control your ER well? They made me, someone with food poisoning, wait 3+ hours. Made me more sick than I already was. Never coming here again.

I recently had a knee replacement surgery in this hospital. My heart is filled with gratitude for the staff of the hospital who work tirelessly and trying to meet all the needs of the patient and keeping them comfortable. God bless LIJ. God bless Dr Vijay Rasquinha and his team.

I have been here for 6 hours and waiting on an xray result for 2 hours and counting..I used the restroom and there was 3 dirty gowns hanging on the stall doors in the "results waiting room" and garbage all over the floor.. I have never been more disgusted in my life. Every nurse I have come across has a nasty attitude and doesn't want to hear a word you say. I would never in my life come back to this hospital.

Do yourself a favor and never go here! Find another medical facility! They will make sure they get your information twice to charge you twice and still not give u the medical attention you need! Stay away

This hospital has more then earned it's reputation as one of the best. I was brought there after suddenly becoming violently ill at work and was promptly seen (despite it being crowded) in the ER by Dr. Doug Isaacs, who was an absolute ace of a doctor who also works for the FDNY. He even gave me his number and said to reach out if I had any issues. I was also seen by Dr. Konrad Krupinksi, a senior attending who has been doing this for a very long time (he was one of the doctors who saw John Lennon the night he was shot). Both of them explained everything that was happening to me (little did I know that I was one step away from the ICU and being put on a ventilator), as well as the plan of action in detail. I spent 2 days in CSSU undergoing treatment, where Dr. Kang and her nurses were fantastic, attentive, knowledgable, and compassionate. I can't say a single bad thing about this hospital. I trusted them with my life and they delivered.

The nurses that took care of me after I had an emergency C-section with my daughter were fantastic! Wonder Woman Wendy and Amazing Andrea were extremely caring and attentive to all my needs and both had a great sense of humor which helped me get through a tough night. All the staff that helped with my deliver were nice but those two really stepped it up some notches Thanks Ladies

Great hospital, saved my sisters life! I m very appriciative to this hospital as well as the nurses and doctors in the children s ER!

I am a registered nurse and my mother was mis-diagnosed at this hospital today 6/26/18. I brought her to the hospital for elevated blood pressure but she was treated for general headache without a cause and given tylenol.

When I asked why the won't run a blood work for her I was told that there were no indications for that and yet her blood pressure was being monitored. Than I was told that if half the bill was not paid my mother would not be released to go home. I feel her patient's rights was infringed on. Her complaints were not taken seriously and I would not recommend this hospital to my worst enemy.

The doctors that treated me at the emergency room were very professional and attentive to my issues. The nurses and medical techs were very caring and made good communication of what they were doing. I have never seen medical staff so professional, and this was in the emergency room. I am very satisfied with the services they provided. Thank you very much for you help and your care.

Man what a difference a decade makes ..I came to this hospital 10 years ago for a horrible motorcycle accident, the staff THEN was superb ..courteous..attentive..fast paced ..aimed to care and please with patient care and back then I had crappy insurance. Fast forward to today . I came in by ambulance (which is another joke of a story ) NYFD shame on you guys for sending out people who seem to care less about "getting there" anyhow ,I digress.. LIJ today I came in for chest , back ,head and neck pain . Everyone sauntered around left me in pain for hours but the billing dept vultures came to call twice in half that time . Tried to give me a CAT scan AND an X-ray for the same thing ! The female staffers were all attitude and catty ,and non communicative..my girlfriend came by for moral support and she was treated badly ..guess what she wasnt feeling well and had to be committed..she asked for someone to come pick her up and the first question asked was "Do you have Id and insurance ??! WOW !! Notvare you ok , what's wrong? Etc.. SMFH WOW people WOW ! I was told I needed to stay but I high tailed it out of there, but not before billing showed up again, demanding co-payment for service ,I cant believe this place the administration here needs to be fired from top to bottom. And the need to restaff the nursing staff as well !! This place is a hot mess !! STAY AWAY !!

LIJ Medical Center is an amazing hospital. They have some of the best doctors in NY. All my encounters with staff has alwaus been cordial and helpful. Their campus is beautiful and relatively recently updated.

This place is the bewt. The nurses who work there take care of me, bring me food, and help me when I an sick. I would like to visit it anytime. Today, I am here for an electrocardiogram because of pain in my stomach.

Horrible!!! Absolutely the most horrible and dirty emergency room ive ever been in. I arrived at 150pm and did not leave until 11pm. I was only given tylenol once. I was in extreme pain going through an ectopic pregnancy. I was placed in results waiting for hours two RN were passing me every few minutes not once did they even notice me. After three hours of sitting there i asked a rn for some tylenol she said she will check if i could get it and i never saw her again. My husband found another rn and told her i needed help she came to me and asked in a horrible attitude AND HOW CAN I HELP YOU! I again said i would like tylenol she said she would check with doc i also never saw her again. The horrible treatment did not end there i never thought professional doctors and nurses that took an oath to help the sick would treat a patient so horribly.

I wish i could give no stars...they shift you in like cattle. Made my poor husband wait while he had morphine in him in the most uncomfortable chairs, in these cubical's that looked like i was in an airport hanger while waiting four hours for results. he was hunched over till passed midnight until they said they were admitting him to run further testing, I said ok well at least you get a room and sleep...HA i was in a room with 20 other people and not attended to yet again. a diabetic, in pain. There website is false, shows this amazing hospital and rooms.the ER is suppose to be great. I have a picture of my husband curled up on a chair in a ball with the time stamp off how long we were waited. to shoved into another cubby hole. and no mention of this on the fabulous website shame on you.

I would never recommend this hospital for any patient that requires critical care! Lack of compassion and knowledge. You have one attending physician for each patient, which they send attendees to deliver news about the patients status. Doctors, residents, attendees and RN s lack the care and compassion for their patients and I pray to god that I will get justice for my mother enduring negligence and incompetency from Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Now that my mother is in her final moments I pray to god other patients do not suffer the same treatments as my mother did. This is unacceptable!!!!

My daughter was brought to LIJ children s hospital from another hospital. The care from the ambulance was amazing, the doctors are so caring and smart. The physicians and nurses work as a team to manage care and the best part is the parent is included and a values part of the team.

I will be filing my own personal complaint against staff person at front desk at Ambulatory Care unit. I will be sending my complaint to proper hospital authorities. Absolutely terrible

I went to the emergency dept of Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Administration service is very greedy like to take sign in paper. Doctor Service is very poor. I think service quality is very bad. I am not satisfied to stay 4 hours, no treatment I got. If any body wants to go over their, think it.

A slight wait when you get admitted. Staff is great. Good beside manners.

Doctor Romeo was exceptionally excellent. My daughter had an extraction on feb and everything went very well.

The best Drs the nicest staff and nurses not to mentioned how impecable the cleanness is. Everything Exceptional.

Have been here with my aunt since early this morning. She is here for surgery. The care she is recieving is unbelievable. I can not say enough good things about it from the doctors to the staff. I am very impressed with it all.

This hospital is one of the greatest hospitals out I came I came in for asthma treatment EMT at / treated me they spotted the mistake right away they treated me and then put me on the test program for breathing and heart problems they asked me to be one of their test subjects and awkward physical therapy the other people breathing and heart palpitations they brought the equipment to my house wrong up giving me oxygen a rollator a device to monitor my oxygen saturation and my blood pressure then they turned around and gave me a social worker I was paid for all of this when the program was over they are still helping me the team that texted me and the social worker are still assisting me it's 100% 10 * Hospital it's out of the way but it's worth every minute that you spend there they are kind considerate is sociable they listen to you and accept some of your agreements they think out of the box their use both Medical and holistic healing methods if you're looking for a fine medical staff this is a place to go

ANOTHER TERRIBLE "NYC HOSPITAL" BE PREPARED TO WASTE YOUR ENTIRE DAY JUST WAITING TO RECEIVE MEDIOCRE HEALTHCARE. LAZY, INCOMPETENT, NEGLIGENT SCUM. LITERALLY TAKES HOURS BEYOND HOURS WITH AN EMPTY ER JUST FOR THEM TO TAKE A LOOK AT YOU. NYC HOSPITALS AND ESPECIALLY THIS ONE ARE AT A CRISIS LEVEL FOR TOLERABLE HEALTHCARE. HAVE FUN PASSING BECAUSE YOU WONT RECEIVE IMMEDIATE MEDICAL ATTENTION EVEN IF YOU NEED IT. ABSOLUTE TRASH.

I usually come to the children s department of this hospital. They are very good, but I had a bad experience with their Neurosurgery department. My mother had a tumor on her head and PCP referred her to a Neurosurgeon immediately. I made an appointment with their Neurosurgery department providing the referral letter from PCP and insurance name and number. They gave me an appointment, but on the day of appointment, the receptionist said that they don t accept the insurance plan. When anyone checks the eligibility of a patient s insurance with insurance number, she/ he also sees what type of plan the patient has. But the receptionist lady said you did not mention your plan type. I understand it s my fault also that I didn t tell that but they should also ask about that. Patients go to hospital for cure and care. The attitude, receptionist showed us, is like we don t have the soap you want, try next door shop . At least a good caring face could soften your heart when you are so tensed your beloved one. No accountability!! It was not just a flu symptoms, it was a brain tumor case.

I have a complaint against ABM Parking Service provided by LIJ North Hospital. The incident happened on 6/9/18 where the valet mistakenly left my car key inside, locking the door. The valet admitted fault and called Richard Pittman to open my car, damaging door panel, door frame, and body frame of my car. ABM Parking Service was negligent and now refusing to compensate my loss. Never , never valet park in this hospital.
