Well done. A very nice experience exhibition. There is a lot to see and try out for the children.
All texts are in Danish, German and English. The tours are also in German.
Some problem, therefore only 4 stars, there is a 2.75% fee for foreign credit cards, and I do not mean the bank fee for payments in the non-euro area, which are added on top. I find that very bad for an institution that lives from tourism.

It may be the biggest, but it is disappointing how little there is to see in so much space. It was over quickly and we would never have left unless it was on the road during the holidays. That party was enough to touch the crabs and starfish. The blue planet has much more to offer.

Not cheap, but really nicely done. They have specialized in the wildlife of the Baltic and North Seas. Is right on the doorstep and makes sense. The huge pool with the sunfish is really impressive.

A lot of advertising for nothing. Little pool and little variety of species and animals.
After all, there is a sweet playground for children.
The main attraction "the sunfish" is unfortunately also relatively small. The pools are all very dark and not decorated. The pool of the seals in the outside area was completely dirty.
For 20 entry = NOT RECOMMENDED

Definitely a most do if you are in the area.

The aquarium does a great job with very cool sea tanks as well as a great virtual fish simulator for the kids to play.

They also have animators to talk about the fish. However, everything was done in Danish which could make it hard for some.

Very nice "aquarium", which of course is known above all for the sunfish. During the summer holidays you could get in for half the price, which was a really great offer, as I don't find it that cheap otherwise. There is ample parking space and an outdoor playground. If you like, you can also watch the seal feeding at noon. Fish fans get a lot to see here.

In any case, you should visit the Oceaneum, if you are holidaying nearby. The different aquariums are very beautiful and you get a nice overview of the inhabitants of the North Sea. The highlight is and remains the huge aquarium in which the moonfish draw their circles. You just have to experience it once.
Too bad that the moderation takes place exclusively in Danish, but so sympathetic, that you still like listening and snapping a few words that you can understand.

The seals in the outdoor area are also wonderful to watch. In the Glsstunnel there is often interaction with one of the animals, probably a younger seal, who obviously enjoys playing with children on the disc. Very cute.

Good picture illustrations of the different fish in the aquariums so you know what you are looking at and at the same time text is available if you want to know more. Very child-friendly and are you not so good at reading yet or have an adult reading up for one is also screens most places that in several languages can tell one about the different fish etc. There is room for free play inside and so there also a huge playground outside.

I did not like it that much. No real tour. At the seal feeding you could understand nothing, because the speaker was aligned to the other side. Then only in Danish, of course one is Denmark, but the Lord has spoken without a dot and a comma. Since few sentences German or English would certainly not wrong. Generally better signage where what is. Highlight the large pool, but more smaller would be great.

A fun, educational and immersive experience of the Nordic garden and wildlife.
There are lots of activities, experiences and sea animals to explore (mostly aimed at children.)
Covid-19 time can make it a bit slow and difficult in terms of distance to others, but it is temporary and I thought people were good at taking into account.
I have been coming here since I was a child every few years and I will come here again in the future.

A super aquarium and two sequences of meals given to animals, the first to seals outside and the second to fish in the large aquarium.
Visited on a Sunday morning in September, not many people and great experience.

We stayed here for the second time in two years and it never gets boring.
Nice, helpful staff (as everywhere in Denmark), nice restaurant, but also places for picnicking, outdoors and covered. Great playground for the little ones. All in all, a visit worthwhile.

An experience to try.

Fantastic big lumpfish.
Is both above and "below" the water.
Can get really close to the sea animals.
Really nice .... Just to see.
