For being in a tourist location, the food really was good, not too pricey, fast and courteous service, our server and the manager were very friendly.

Love this spot. Great crew, awesome BLT & Sweet views. Thanks for taking care of us tonight
The carnitas tacos were well worth the price. 2 tacos is more than one person's can really finish, and the carnitas is flavorful and not dry. I would absolutely get them again.
We got a decent meal here. I really wanted the pork belly sliders but they were out of pork belly. Ended up getting a pulled pork taco and a mahi mahi Taco. Both were ok...the garlic fries were really good though.
For all the who-ha about it, it was cold & bland. Take a pass. Garlic fries came wrong, then resent with bacon ketchup, did not feel like correcting the waitress who indicated it was "bacon ketchup" when asked not the "garlic aioli" on the menu. Mac & cheese inedible. Pork... meh.
Perfect location and a fun (small but adequate) craft beer selection.
I really enjoyed the sausage party sandwich but my chicken sandwich the next time I went was dry and boring it needed some coleslaw or something in it
Me and my boyfriend ordered the carnitas fries (I forget the actual name)... But they were delicious! I highly recommend
Such a cool spot to have an adult beverage right on San Diego Bay!
This place is awesome. It's all outdoor seating right on the water. There is a full bar and the food is delicious. Just 1 5 minute walk from west side downtown. The steak sandwich is spicy and amazing. As for beer, they have 4 or 5 on tap. When I was there last I had the Hess Brewing Solis.
The fish tacos were okay, my husband ordered a chicken sandwich or something and they brought him chicken tenders, then the bartender refused to get us a cup of water for our toddler even though we were sitting there eating. Maybe a misunderstanding but I felt it was extremely rude.
Great food but the alcohol they only fill half way. That's with ice already inside.
I had the blackened Mahi Mahi taco. Reasonable price for the amount of food, but was a little bland.
Carnitas tacos were mediocre (meat rather dry) as well as the chips and guac. Guac didn't have much flavor. On the positive side, great views and chill atmosphere which I enjoy.
Cool place, downtown San Diego, awesome area to relax, enjoy the views, drink some cold beer and simply be in the moment. Highly recommend! Cheers!
Have the pulled pork sandwich. It's absolutely awesome.
Food was okay. We had the carnitas tacos and fish tacos. We also ordered the fries (not good) and bacon ketchup (awful). Then we watched the cook eating, putting his hands in his mouth, while using the same hands to prepare customers' food. Yes, it was gross.
Loved this place! I've been to the location in North Park too and their great. This one is really open, right on the water. We went at night when it was a little chilly but they had heaters. Great food! Highly recommend the carnitas tacos and the seasoned french fries with bacon ketchup. I saw that they also have dessert here but we were too full. Employees were super friendly too!
Great food, awesome views, good beer, what more do you want?
Everything was fresh. All of the carnitas items are delicious. The fish tacos were disgusting.
Great food and friendly staff!
Carnitas are the best I've had!
Great brunch meun, and as alway the pull pork plate here is delicious, but dont take my word for it. Go try it for yourself
Fantastic place for a Margarita. Just ask them for a little extra Agave so it's not so sour
Had a great tasting burger with fries. First time tasting a bacon ketchup....boy was it good. Great meal....by the water and people watching place...oh and they have a bar. Cool little place. Will be returning.
A great spot!! Location, service and food were incredible!!!!! Cheers
Good breakfast food. Would recommend. Slow service even when there was no line. Staff was indifferent and not very friendly. If you ignore those two items you will be fine.
The food wasn t good at all.carnitas tasted like Cardboard, the beer I ordered still had chili on the glass from the previous drink that had been served in it. The cashier that helped me (Daniel) was rude and made fun of a part of my personal appearance which is something I don t appreciate, I asked to speak to a manager and I did but I still wanted to take the time to do this review to make sure that people are aware of this employee s behavior.
Great place for food. Their iced and hot tea is pretty bad but then again you shouldn't be going there for that. Haha great carnitas hands down, tender and tasty.
This is an outdoor bar. It was busy, but we had no trouble getting served quickly. There was a audio do until 10:00 played a lot of great oldies.
Very rich food and with a direct view of the bay, watching the cruises that arrive and depart at every moment
This place is very casual and is at the base of the Broadway Terminal. Seating is available in the shade at the side at communal tables or tables for 4. There is some limited table service but you are also able to order at the window where you receive a buzzer and they bring your food to you when it is ready. Both options make it super convenient. We shared a sandwich that was huge and quite delicious. We were very pleased with our lunch and will certainly be back!
Good food, nice bar tender. Not a tourist trap but on the water. Reasonable food prices but beers are $8 and margaritas $12
Just moved to the area and stopped here for Friday night dinner Expensive across the board for serving size and quality of drinks. Paying for location and view primarily. Won't be back.
Great location! I still love going to the original spot in North Park but you can't beat eating the pork belly app while looking out at the Harbor. Definitely a must-eat when visiting San Diego!
Great food on the broadwalk, the chilaquiles burrito is on point and the carnita tacos wow.
Tasty food is about right for the price, staff usually goes above and beyond
Quick lunch spot to go to. With delicious fish tacos. The menu has a nice variety to pick from. Can't beat the location! Beautiful views of the water.
Great food, big portions. Unbeatable location with relaxing setting and frequent live music.
This is for the California burrito, the meat was so hard you couldn t even chew it, it was like rubber/fake meat. Honestly seemed like the cheapest quality you could buy or the worst cook, preheated the meat that had already been cooked. I don t understand how this place remains open after trying this one item. Prime location gone to waste. Don t serve food if you can t make it right. It was almost $12.00 and a total rip off of course.
This place is perfect! The flavors are are exceptional in their food. The fries are also a must as they're seasoned and come with bacon ketchup which is amazing! The location combined with the views and many seating options make this place so amazing! They have heaters for when it's chilly, and if your cold just ask them to turn them on:) I recommend this place for when your anywhere near the waterfront!
Nice little place to stop and eat next to the San Diego Bay. Nice employees and outdoor atmosphere. Had the breakfast quesadilla and it was pretty good!
Fantastic food...try it if you're down by the water. Service was excellent.
Great atmosphere and setting. Seating is very limited but the food makes up for it pretty well. Bartenders are great at crafting a cocktail.
Really good food. Fun place to be on the pier. Really good views. If you want something fun to do go here. It does get busy but there is a lot of staff. Walk up no parking close by. Full bar.
Great service. Great bloody Mary's! Great Carnitas. Not as good as mine but good.
Carnitas' Snack Shack is perched perfectly on the Oceanfront at the Harbor. It's open-air and right in the middle of everything. The service is good, friendly and fast. They have a short menu of decent, simple food and a full bar. If you have to ask the price, you can't afford it. I enjoyed a local craft beer for less than $9 on one stop. Location..
It was fine. I wasn't impressed by their fish tacos. While there was a good portion of fish. It seemed overcooked and under seasoned.
I love this place. I first went to their establishment up north and thought the food was excellent. Having this right near the embarcadero just gives it an extra amount of cool - weather and vibe. The only knock that I will give it, which is understandable, is that during lunch it can be a lengthy wait for your food. The wait feels expected but it feels a little longer than needed. I've tried a little over half of the menu and nothing has disappointed.
Massive, delicious tacos and good beer with a gorgeous view of the harbor and a wonderful breeze... what is not to love.
It's a tourist spot and a bit expensive but nice view
We stopped in for drinks they are a little expensive did not have any food but the location and atmosphere was very nice.
This is kinda a tourist trap destination. The food isn't anything special and honestly the carnitas is very dry and lacking in flavor.
Great low key out door location with tasty food and good beers!!
Nice little place to eat in the courtyard at the casino
Very rich, it is a Mexican dish and tastes authentic, I went to eat twice there, good location, friendly staff, reasonable prices. I would have liked more desserts.
Good food, good service, good drinks, what more could you ask for?
Tasty food and in a good spot. I've stopped by a few times but always after a beer festival or cruise on Port Pavilion. Food is good with average prices. No real issues.
Holy cow...I mean pig! Best price I've tasted in a long long while
Steak sandwich and burgers were on point. Especially the steak sandwich. But don't order the seasoned fries. Those were a huge letdown. Not even average fries, they were just plain bad and their "bacon ketchup" didn't taste good either. I'll still give it a 4 overall rating because of how amazing their sandwiches are, and that's saying something.
Great place to grab a bite before going on a boat tour
