A very cool museum where you can see sea creatures from all around the North Sea. They have a very huge aquarium with loads of different species pf fishes, sharks and just about anything you can find in the North Sea. They have live shows, which are in Danish. However, after the show you can go talk to the staff in english and ask them whatever is on your mind. I really enjoyed my visit here, and I'm sure you will enjoy it aswell!

I could give this place 5 stars just for the Sun fish. Those things are amazing. But luckily the rest of the place was just as awesome. The exhibits were informative and the animals seemed to be well taken care off.

The place is really worth a visit. Many things to try for kids both inside and out. But also a great experience as an adult. However, the cafe was too crowded for us so we ate out in the city.

Very nicely designed. Large aquariums.

Very nicely designed. Large aquariums.
Many species of fish in the North Sea.
In between screens with informative and interactive films -> easy to use for children.
Feeding sunfish is a real experience.
Seal feeding with information about these animals.
Outside area very nice with play opportunities for children.
Food a bit expensive but good and a relatively large selection.
Were there about 4 hours. Overall recommendable

Cool to see when the lumpfish got food and also the seals. If the weather is good, it is a lovely environment for families with children because there is a lot to do for the children.

Should you have seen. Well done. Highlights are the feeding of the seals and of course the sunfish. The offered guide is also recommended.
Much is signposted in German and the lectures are also German-speaking.
The restaurants had closed early during our visit or were not open at all.
Clear recommendation from us.

In these Corona times, it is strange that you have to look for alcohol in several places as it is not always available. This is especially the case where there are touch surfaces where children can touch screens, etc. It is simply not a good idea to go on a treasure hunt afterwards to find hand alcohol.

There are no employees who remind you to keep your distance, so you often go on top of each other in large groups. In the area around the large aquarium there is room for many people and the same is true in the area by the interactive screens, but here people sit close or stand in the hallways so you end up standing still in large groups. It simply does not work and there should be employees who inform about keeping distance, etc.

The oceanarium itself is fine for kids, but the price of 175 for adults is something over the top for the content there is. The feeding of the seals must be said to be the greatest disappointment. 3 employees throwing dead fish out to 5 seals while one talks about seals in the wild and why you should keep your distance. It's all fine, but the sound system means that you only hear half and the feeding itself is boring as they just stand and throw half fish in the water from the same place, so you feel but stretch your neck to look down into the other end of the basin.

All in all, the trip is ok for children, but the price is way too high ift

Unfortunately not much to see about the price. Too few aquariums.
In addition, 2 coffee machines out of 3 were broken, one charged DKK 28 for a cup of coffee in which only milk came out.

Would not recommend this place. So rather a walk in the Kattegat Center.

Unfortunately very small.

No big sharks - only cat sharks
The only highlight is the big moonfish pool.

There was everything all too many people. There should be restrictions on how many people are being shut in - unfortunately it destroys the experience.
Didn't reach all the way before we decided to go home.

The entrance fees are relatively high, but the Oceanarium also has much to offer. The feeding show of the lunar fishes was my personal highlight, but here it would be nice if they had held at least one lecture a day for the tourists in English.
