Very interesting. Descriptions in Danish, English ...
Very interesting. Descriptions in Danish, English and German. So you get along.
And the seals are soooo cute.

And the seals are soooo cute.
The oceanarium is beautifully decorated, everything is very interesting and informative, and, most importantly, it is an interactive opportunity, especially for children, to learn the exciting world of the underwater inhabitants of the North Sea.
Great aquarium with many local fish species. The moonfish are especially great.
Great aquarium with seal feeding and fish feeding by a diver in the aquarium. The absolute highlight is the sunfish.
Great place for the little ones where they can see and learn a lot.
Very interesting. You learn a lot about the North Sea and its inhabitants
Very interesting here, but I find it a bit expensive.
The site has much to offer, also for more than three hours of experiences.
Very instructive, lots of information in three languages. You should take your time.
As always a fantastic experience. My daughter of 4 loved and come there and the new show was a big hit. We will definitely be back as always
It's a really great aquarium with different tanks. These are very large, which makes the Oceanarium very special. Admission is normal for Danish standards and well worth the money. I don't understand why so many people complain here.
Great, great, great. Much interactive. The sunfish in the giant aquarium is fascinating
We had a really nice and educational day with the family with children of 3.7 and 8. Definitely worth a visit!
Great place to learn about the North See and its population.
Mega place, you have to go if you go to DK. A very impressive aquarium. Super staff super nice.
Wow.
Super aquarium.
Always happy.
A great place to see the underwater life of marine fauna
Absolute gavel, respect! Alone to see the Glumpfisk worth the entrance fee! Very nice and there is much to discover!
Especially with small children a very nice trip. The biggest attraction is the sunfish. Very impressive.
The largest Ozeaneum in Northern Europe is always worth a visit.
Absolutely amazing experiences, good employees who had time to tell and talk.
It's simply too expensive, the entrance is too expensive as far as you can and what you can see.
Very impressive and informative. We enjoyed the visit very much. Highly recommended ... not just for children!
Very many good initiatives in relation to COVID19. Lots of selections, hand alcohol dispensers and speaker peaks
= what one can and must expect from such an established place has been done. The only minus in that context is that the planned receivables persist and are presented over the speakers. It gathers unnecessarily many people. We happened to be outside and clumsy up the facility when the seals had to be fed. Super presentation of the two animal keepers, but these could have benefited the audience from keeping their distance. When the audience incredibly cannot figure it out for themselves, they must step in with the greatest overview. Incidentally, fine relationships with families with babies, lots of changing options. We come here once or twice a year and look forward to returning in 2021.
Our daughter only has to give four stars as the big lumpfish has died since our last visit.
I live in Saarland and not in Flensburg dan it would be good but so full off
Beautiful large aquarium, with grandstand, space to "just" sit and watch the sea creatures glide by.
Simulator and playground are very popular.
Some "old-fashioned" communication in the form of signs.
The food in the restaurant was pretty rehearsal. Fish'n'chips with homemade remoulade. Soft fritters, a far exceeded fish and remoulade without much taste.
Huge aquarium with the famous sunfish. Worth seeing with children.
Nice oceanarium. However, a bit small for my taste (for the fact that it is the largest in Northern Europe). The sunfish was of course absolutely great and very impressive.
Overall, the exhibition is kept quite simple. The exhibition is not informative enough for anglers and marine experts; very general information (at least that is given in German) is given. If you have no idea about the area, the aquarium is completely sufficient :) There is a lot to discover, especially for children.
Very interesting for young and old. Many very nicely and expertly explained information about fishing, fishing, the North Sea, etc. Not only the sunfish are an attraction. Too bad for all non-Danish-speaking visitors, that in the certainly interesting shows (especially when feeding the sunfish) at least subtitles on the screens in a "understandable" language go through, so you know roughly what's going on there.
The absolute coolest place in Hirtshals and surroundings, both for children and adults
There is a spectacular aquarium, different from those I have seen in other countries. It is so great that the fish are distributed as if they were in the sea. It's worth visiting.
A great place for the whole family. Many smaller and one giant aquarium that can be admired from several levels. There are a lot of different species of fish in it. Additional attractions include a sealarium, many interactive games for children, a storm simulator on the cutter and a gastronomic offer. There is also a large souvenir shop. Convenient access and a spacious parking lot. Being in this region of Denmark is really worth a visit.
Lovely place. Surprisingly little people for being in Week 8.
Only minus was the glasses over the seal passage which were green with algae.
Otherwise good space and nice staff.
A very attractive place, especially for children, full of curiosities, multimedia games and knowledge about the North Sea. A fish feeding show in a large aquarium and a seal feeding show are must-see of the tour program.
Nice aquarium, probably better outdoor space in summer
Aplenty varieties of fish, loads of information. The central pool is 2-3 storeys high and has a large sunfish, along with other varieties. They provide an informative booklet as well. Kids would love this place. Reserve an entire day, if you wanna make the best out of it.
great place, especially the lumpfish was a great experience. Ate a lovely lunch, reasonable prices. A place that is highly recommended, all worth the money
Great expo, lots of North Sea fish and other sea life on display. Nice, informative sections detailing how all life at sea is connected
Modest. There are only 3 large aquariums: one at the entrance, the largest with sunfish and small sharks (very nice) and one outside with seals. Otherwise it is not very good, there is a lot of space but badly used. Suitable for families with children, given the large amounts of space and playgrounds.
They pride themselves on being the largest aquarium in northern Europe, perhaps for the safe capacity, but as the quantity and quality of the aquariums leave something to be desired.
High price.
Unfortunately I was disappointed.
Nice big aquarium with many activities for children .... Explanations and terms in German
This was a somewhat disappointing experience. The aquarium doesn't seem to be ready for such a big amount of people visiting and the orientation within the building is difficult; we left soon as it was overcrowded. I would recommend a visit outside of the peak season, which will probably be much more enjoyable. The aquarium is targeted at families with small children and there are some nice activities for them.
Give yourself a go and be curious. Then it can only be an exciting and bold experience
Great aquarium for adults, but also for children very interesting and educational
The North Sea Oceanarium in Hirtshals is highly recommended. It is worth his entrance fee. my expectations were exceeded. Also for children a lot is offered here. Absolute recommendation for the whole family.
Great place, the boy almost had to be taken out with power
A great insight into the underwater world of the North Sea.
I visited the Oceanarium on a Wednesday with my oldest grandson of 3 years. We especially enjoyed the lumpfish, the seabed and the stirring pool
Very good family experience with a lot to see and make five stars from here
Really a cozy place when you have small people. Junior was completely away in all the fine fish and seals.
There was a lot to see and do here. A must visit when you are over. Utilize some hours here.
Very nice always worth a visit you have to take one day to take everything up
Really great exhibition and nice staff. A real recommendation!
A nice and well kept place. Nice Oceanarium for / for adults and children. The cafeteria was also very good with a good chance of being fed up. Nice place for many people. P-spaces fine.
Super accomplished! Feeding the animals was the icing on the cake with very dedicated animal keepers! Can definitely be recommended!
A great cozy place to come. Every time we discover new things. Very friendly staff.
The only thing that worth the price is the big tank with a lot of fish. Otherwise nothing amazing too much writing and little fish, kids said I want to see more colors
Good place, but expensive if you do not have a discount coupon from a vacation rental site
Even if you have been there several times, it is always nice again.
Would get more stars if the entrance fee wasn't that high.
It is a unique experience - you can see all kinds of fish and there is also feeding.
However, after max. 3 hours with everything.
Is more of a half day excursion destination for Denmark vacationers :)
All in all, very satisfied.
The prices in the souvenirs shop could be a little cheaper, but the selection is quite satisfactory.
Toilets were very hygienic and the staff also spoke German.
Maybe come back again :)
