It was nicely set up and very neat. The front desk staff was very friendly. We thought it was a little bigger. Nevertheless a nice experience.

We are not absolutely convinced. The number of monitors far exceeds the number of aquariums. Surely the Oceanarium is special with the sunfish, but otherwise? Well! For the entrance fees of 180 DKK for adults are already high.

Not cheap but worth the price! But the sunfish are so spectacular that it's worth it! There is a lot to do for children, catch crabs, feed sharks, caress plaice and look for amber is one of the highlights.

Really good museum where you get close to the wildlife in the sea. Good museum for the whole family.

What a great aquarium! The 3 moonfish are really a reason to go in here. The prices are okay, as you can spend a whole day here!

Very informative presentation on the topic North Sea, impressive aquarium with a giant moonfish and many employment opportunities for children.
Almost everywhere you also get information in German (if with info videos only with subtitles).
Also issues like fishing are honestly presented and you do not feel that you are trying to present anything beautified.

Too bad that the feedings were not accompanied in English. So only the native speakers at this point had an additional information opportunity.

Mensie Oceanarium right in the port, near the ferry terminal for Norway-Kristiansand. Very well-educated and information-equipped, information in three languages, promotional material and other similar facilities in Denmark. Also adapted to children of different ages. Possibility of refreshment, large barrier-free parking.

A hit for both children and adults. Edutainment in high class. Lots of live animals and interactive exhibits. Reasonable prices in the cafe.

It's a great place for both children and adults, a place to experience and learn.
Personally I'm facinated by the Sunfish (Mola Mola) and find great pleasure seeing it swimming in their biggest tank.
I love this place and visit it every time I'm nearby.
The one thing that could knock them down from a 5 star rating is that the feedings are only spoken in Danish. However, they do have their own smartphone app with English and German information, which lets them keep their fifth star.

A memorable way to spend at least four hours. Make sure to be around when the seals and the fish in the huge ocean view aquarium are fed (11am and 1pm respectively when we were there during September).

German handicap card is also valid here. Super friendly and clean .. Wheelchair, buggy or trolley you can borrow on site

The games they have introduced many places makes it a good and exciting experience beyond simply looking at fish through glass.

I was allowed to spend my birthday in the Oceanarium and spend the night there with my family and friends.

Super nice ocenarium. Lots of fish species to see. But what mainly occurs in the North Sea. Is a bit small. So in two hours you will be ready.

A very large aquarium, however, you have to pay 30 DKK for a reference work on the fish if you want to know anything about them.

Great place with many different fish species. Easy to find the different parts of the aquarium where the animals were. Missed a little more seal show. Good eating opportunities. Fun to feed the fish in the big aquarium.

The big pool is overwhelming! There are also many small and large pools and stations to explore. All explanations are available in addition to Danish in English and German. After the visit, I can better understand and introduce the diverse life in the North Sea. The visit was absolutely worth it.

Lovely atmosphere. It does not take a whole day to visit, but there are a nice amount of children's activities. If you have an annual card for a zoo, there is a 50% discount on the entrance fee.

Very nice there the 4.5 million liter pool is more than impressive. There is something for all ages to see, experience and marvel at. We found it much better than a sealife. The visit is definitely worth it. Even the fries were huge. There are playgrounds, grayling and much more. You should plan at least three hours or more

A large and nice place with lots of fish, sharks, and mashing activities for kids. Out there they have some braces one of them called Tyra as a my favorite seal.

Was a very nice experience for us. Parking is free. For my 5 year old son an unforgettable experience.

Wonderfull staff inside the oceanarium, that informs about the exhibit and tells in details about different parts of the exhibit, and their background. Well informed guides about the times of the feedings. Wonderfull playground outside the building. Rich exhibition with whale skeletons and video documentation. Longer written information could be transformed to electronic/interactive boards, that are more intuitive to use, and compact all the information. The restaurant should make sure that the menu is visible and easy to find by the entrance.

Really worth the money with lots of fish etc. To see and there were also many activities for children.

Very nice and interesting Oceanarium. Especially for children it is a real experience. In addition to the sea animals is provided for the fun (including petting, playground, amber search, crab fishing, all kinds of electronic games, game stations, expedition pass with subsequent diploma). You can bring your own food and eat in one of the designated places or you can use the restaurant of the Oceanarium. The offer in the restaurant is extensive and has reasonable prices. Ample parking is available. We always come back.

Great place and lots of nice fish to watch! Had the weather been better we would probably have spent more time outside, because there were several places where the children could have fun. Just okay prices for both food, drinks and ice.

Comprehensive. You can quickly spend a few hours. The moonfish and seals were highlights.
