JK 5 star it was lit
Our visit yesterday, Saturday, June 27 was not what we were expecting from America s Largest Waterpark . As mentioned in other reviews, there are ALOT of attractions that are closed right now. Per one of the workers, apparently there is an issue with some of the interns/workers getting here from Turkey so they are severely understaffed. However, don t count this park out because I do think it s every bit deserving of being 5 stars - on a normal day where they don t have extreme circumstances to work around.
Cons
- there was no lazy river and only one wave pool (may just be a temporary thing)
- only 60-75% of the park open (subject to change I m sure & my estimates may be way off)
-some food establishments weren t open
-the prepaid meal plan has selected different options for different places to eat & I only saw signage once we had already waited in line that only one option was available for Jonny Rockets
Pros
-the capacity is lower so shorter lines
-they were cleaning the rafts between each riding party which I thought was commendable
-the rides we did get to enjoy were a lot of fun :)
-Funnel cakes were delicious
-Milkshakes were considered a drink w/ the meal combo with no additional charge
-Jonny Rocket staff was great as well as the funnel cake stand staff
This was our first visit to the park, so it was disappointing but I do understand that nobody asked for COVID-19 to happen and this is the world we live in now.
I personally think your sign outside should note what rides are CLOSED instead of open because that was confusing. Most people expect most if not all the rides to be open when they come to a park.
My final & only real complaints are:
1. a lot of workers don t seem to know answers to questions. (Some were obviously being trained, which is understandable) Upon leaving the park I inquired with a worker at the gate about upgrading to a season pass as we live close enough this would be a better option to get the most bang for our buck as things open back up . She acted like we were bothering her and was not helpful at all and basically just said she didn t know if we could upgrade our tickets to a season pass.
2. (This May fall under a tip for future readers) the black asphalt throughout the park is SO painful to walk on. Especially leading up to the black anaconda ride. (I may also be a pansy, but holy moly did it hurt to walk on it!) HINT: bring water shoes
Fun, clean. Employees seem to hate their jobs, not all, but most never even cracked a smile. Definitely not your "Disney " customer service experience.
We were supposed to get free tickets for booking our hotel but they neglected to inform our hotel they were closed. Had we known, we would of hooked elsewhere.
Poor treatment by 2 staff then when we spoke to a manager he said he was the food manager so he couldn't help us. He told us to look around for a manager or go to customer services. I will never let another group talk me into coming here. I can't wait to go home and talk about this!
The place is huge! Lots of choices for water fun! A day is not enough! I like it that the changing rooms are clean. Bring slippers on a hot day as the ground could get really hot.
No longer the place to go in the Dells... 20 bucks for parking! Give me a break
Lots of walking and waiting in lines like a normal theme park. Worth a trip fun for the kids. They have tables outside the park so you can pack your cooler and have a picnic. Overall a good day with the family.
It s definitely not the biggest America water park.
Awesome fun place, but several of the rides were closed cause of this COVID.
It wasn't as crowded as I anticipated for July 5th, but we still didnt get a seat almost anywhere we went in the park. My 4 year old had the time of her life so I guess that's really all the matters
Terrible ... DONT come here. Only 3 rides are open leading to HUGE CROWDED LINES FOR FOOD AND RIDES.
Fun place. But the locker rental is ridiculously expensive..
Huge, clean, lots to do and safe. Staff everywhere, especially lifeguards, were incredibly kind and helpful.
No doubt one of most craziest and exhilarating Water Parks in America. Long lineups are the only problems, being a very popular waterpark that is.
The wave pool was awesome and I recommend this place to anybody that way that's in Wisconsin Dells
Was looking between Noah's Ark and Mt. Olympus, to take my family to, but it looks like Mt. Olyomus won the vote. These reviews tell a lot about this particular water park hopefully in a couple years it will be better if not sooner.
Great place to spend a hot summer. Water, water everywhere. From the meek to wild. They have it all
Enjoyed the park...however, we did not see a tenth of what you have. We had no way of knowing being first time customers. I am so disappointed in that fact. And oh my lord, the cost of food there is OUTRAGEOUS! A brat and pop for $9.?? (and some change.) There is one thing of trying to make money but to take advantage of your customers in this way is just outrageous. No wonder why we have to save and save and save to go on vacations! I would rather be a business that is cost effective so I can have repeat customers often.
It has been a wonderful time! We all enjoyed it so far. Food and drink is expensive. But, we are making memories.
I loved this place as a kid 30 years ago. I bought season tickets for 8 people this week and drove 1000 miles from Oklahoma with my kids and now TWO days in a row they close at 4pm.
Yesterday "OK", 66 degrees was the excuse
TODAY it's 72 degrees and they want to close at 4pm for no reason (PHOTO ATTACHED WITH DATE FOR PROOF.)
The management wants to have a meeting supposedly at 830am and makes the decision. There's weather storm apps that showed that the Dells cleared up by 11am. I just went to Mount Olympus and they are open, (PHOTO ATTACHED.)
I'm now going to go to their park and see what they offer for the first time in my life. let's see if Noahs park mgmt responds to my post and care to WIN me back and change my 1 STAR.
They keep deleting my photo with the date and temp as proof. Funny you can't respond to me with apology or a offer but you can keep deleting weather picture everytime I repost.
Amazing place for slides and fun in the sun. Just dont be a lifeguard.
Best waterpark in the USA. Kids loved coming here compared to ANY other waterpark. Employees are friendly and helpful and seem to actually enjoy their jobs. Go in August they give 2nd day free.
Wow! Great place! Had an amazing time with the family me 35 my wife 33 and my kids 11 and 12 all had a blast!
Save your money and stay in Wilderness Resort and use the water parks there. The lines at NA were ridiculous, they have multiple rides where there could be 2 or more slides active, but instead they don't operate the "extra" rides and let you wait for 30-50 minutes to go down some pretty generic water rafting slides. Food was expensive and a lot of the paving in the park could be replaced (wear aqua socks if you have them). Pluses were that the staff was pretty friendly and helpful, and the Black Anaconda was a really fun family ride. Not worth the money.
Love all the slides
Raja didnt open until late afternoon :/
Had a blast. We love the flash flood. Raja is so scary but fun. Love the big kaukana wave pool. It lasts for 10 mins. Wave after wave. It is so much fun.they have life jackets for everybody to use. It was so cold that we could6stY for entire time. But that's mother nature. Had a nice picnic afterwards on top in general parking area.
Wonderful time. No long lines today and the weather was 84 degrees.
A lot of the good rides were down. When asking about them lifegaurds seemed very rude.
Always a fun place. We open and close it one a year
And keep coming back
Great time! Lines not too long and staff very helpful! Haven't been to Noah's ark in a long time but it's so much bigger and very clean!
Even though checking was really nice, the water was insanely cold. Check water and weather day before coming. Other than that, it wasn't bad. Not much to do when your older, so I would have younger kids come and do it.
Kids had a great time we paid a little more for cabana it was worth it, you tell the servers what time you want lunch and they will bring it right to the cabana and the lockers are right there beside it to lock up valuables we enjoyed the lazy river, and our wait staff was very kind.
The price is over rated. Then you have to pay an extra $20 for parking. You have to wait 30 mins or more for any rides and that includes the lazy river. There is no organization with staff. I just figured this place would be working like swell oil machine but none of the staff was friendly. And had to wait for tubes most of the time. The best deal of the park was paying for a $20 cup to get free refills.
Black anaconda was the best ride there! Alcohol is expensive. Tadpole bay is awesome for the kids and the water is warmer if it's not the best day. We went when it was overcast and never had to wait in line, but most of the side shops were closed. Park closes at 7.
They charged more because of holiday weekend. The wave pool and some slides were closed. I felt like i got ripped off
This was the first water park my family and I went to. We got there at 945 am they open at 10 am on the dot. We didn't mind waiting. The rides were super fun. The Point of No Return and The Scorpion are a must! The only thing I'd say get there early to find lounge chairs and there really wasn't a pool that you can just swim in unless you go to the big wave ride. If you have little ones or even middle school aged watch them good or hope you get an inner tube because those waves are powerful. We stayed for 7 hours
It was lots of fun and there was rides the whole family could enjoy
Such a fun place and the exchange students that work for them are very nice. They have an awesome crew. Every year they do great. They keep the park clean on the pricey side. Later times in the park go through rides faster, less lines.
It was ok for a first-time but i will not pay again to waste my cash or time in this rides again...
Our family had a great time! But please bring a picnic, the food is outrageously priced! Bring a water bottle and refill in park. Bring soap for shower. Towels NOT provided, bring! Parking is now up to $20 general, $25 preferred! The time to go is during the week, didn't seem quite as busy. Still have to wait in lines but not as bad. Towards closing time lines are slim to none. Stay at a hotel that has free passes . The rides are fun and family friendly :)
Great time! A family favorite for over 20 years! Bring back the Plunge!
Fantastic park.... Lots to do and lots of walking. There is something for the whole family!
Love this place. Every time I come to the Dells, I always suggest family and friends check it out. I prefer the cleanliness of Noah s Ark over Mt. Olympus anyday.
The only negative is 1) the, in my opinion, strange park layout, and 2) the parking situations. But those two are forgivable considering the amount of fun you can have just from swimming in the Wave Pool.
Overall, would definitely suggest coming here at least once. If you re on the fence of Noah s Ark vs Mt. Olympus.. go to Noah s Ark. It won t disappoint.
A large part of it seemed in disrepair. The large wave pool is very strong and they should be more strict about who can use it. It has a nice area for the little kids, but overall we didn't love it.
Rides are great... staff is rude.. but the rides are fun and facilities are clean
Nice place to have fun, everything really clean definitely I will come back again
So so so fun! This place was a blast! Could use some more rafts in the wave pools, and the food is outrageously priced, but the slides and rides are fantastic.
Long waiting time. Super expensive lockers. Parking should be free
Had a great time with the kid, will definitely be going back!!
Had a blast with the family. Food was ehh okay but everything else went great
Great park, lots to do, water is freezing, but refreshing.
It was food experience, rides are ok not that great. My best was scorpion tail. Wave pools were really busy. The food is awesome. The parking sucks, we chose cheaper option. U can pick 20 for parking and park your car closer. Some rides were really busy like 1:30 wait.
I like the international lifeguards way better then the local trash
The park has many rides and one can easily spend 3 hrs at the park on a Sunday. It was not crowded on a Sunday and it could be because it was 60 degrees.
They take great care to Make sure that you have a safe fun experience. I've been going since I was a tot. great rides less busy than discount parks with hotels attached & reasonably close parking. In terms of cost even though they now charge $20 parking it's still a better bet than most other places including 6 flags. Ticket prices are cheap $39 if you buy in advance and you are stupid if you dont buy a season pass and plan to come up more than 2x. Come get your water slide on! I'm 42 and still get excited like I did when I was a kid. Same great place but amazing new rides!
