Zeer kundig en aardig personeel. Blij dat ik er was

Vriendelijk warm open en eerlijk vorige keer hadden ze ook gelijk met de baarmoeder eierstokken eruit opereren uiteindelijk is dit in het umcg geopereerd geen kans op recidieven en over een halfjaar weer komen scan gevraagd en kwam dit eruit nergens geen last van , ik heb linkerlong stukjes laten verwijderen ,en de rechter zit dus nog 4 cm en uitzaaiingen boven kwab en links maar dat is verwijderd ,

moet nog wel op bezoek komen AVL

dit keer voor de longen omdat umcg mij stadium 4 heeft gegeven .

we gaan van de nieuwste technieken uit

dat ik nog lang samen met mijn kinderen van het leven kan genieten .

Wat de uitkomsten zijn ze zijn erg vriendelijk gastvrij maken ook tijd voor je en dat is belangrijk zeker als je in een moeilijke periode/tijd zit .

Ziekenhuizen zijn nooit leuk om heen te moeten gaan, maar wat dit gebouw prettig maakt is de grote open hal en de vele zitjes en banken en de horeca. Dat maakt zo'n bezoek een stuk lichter! En er is ook kunst te zien!

I have been walking around AVL for some years with oncological complaints.
In 2014 for the first time after a second opinion came to Dokter Verdwaal and received treatment for a Hipec operation which was very difficult.
I felt I was in good hands here and things were going up fairly well.
Until suddenly Doctor Verwaal left this hospital because he did not agree with the policy.
Shortly afterwards I got a top doctor NL doctor Matse.
Very involved in everything, so completely top notch, but that suddenly went away and probably for the same reason as Verwaal.
After that it really went downhill there.
You just have to beg for an appointment or CT scan.
I really feel let down by that hospital.
I don't know where I stand now and the planning there is too sad for words.
Someone in my circle of acquaintances works there and he himself says that it is a mess there without structure, so that explains it
I have the idea that it is just a chemical factory now and that income must be earned with expensive coffee and sky-high parking costs.
I am desperate at the moment and they do not want me there anymore, I think because I do not yield enough.
Folks, don't go to this hospital pretending to be one of the better hospitals because everything is very bad there.

Excellent hospital with very skilled doctors and nurses. Not for nothing the predicate one of the best cancer hospitals in the world.
A beautiful entrance with beautiful flower boxes exudes calm. The restaurant that has been renovated now looks beautiful and is a good place to come to yourself.

Great hospital with fantastic staff. And of course the best expertise in the field of cancer. I have been a patient since 1978. In addition to professional knowledge, all other processes also run very well. I am glad I was hit with such a fantastic hospital.

The elite amongst cancer hospitals. It's not my favorite place to be. But if you have cancer AVL is the best place to get help.

We are not satisfied with the AVL !!! Was so glad we could go there, thought to have ended up in the best oncology hospital. Nothing is less true. Very poor communication. No one available for urgent questions. Results last too long. Wrong information about operation planning.

I was never admitted, but my 90-year-old father was. He was and is being helped tremendously throughout the process. He also had nothing to complain about during the recording. In the departments there are restaurants where the patients can sit, enjoy the view and order what they want. I only have experience with the outpatient clinic. Huge amounts of patients are being helped. Due to the good organization you do not notice much. It is very nice that you see how many spouts there are per doctor in the waiting room. It is a good hospital, with a lot of attention for the patient. In between you can enjoy the flowers outside or to the roof terrace.

Waarom is het NKI AVL zo goed.

Kijk maar naar de Performance Indicators die er tpe doen.
Snijvlakken etc

Ziekenhuis en het Research Instituut onder een dak.
Researchers komen uit de hele wereld om in het NKI te werken .
Kijk hoe vaak ze geciteerd worden.

Het AVL staat voor een grote uitdaging.
Ik heb het Ziekenhuis in de afgelopen 15 jaar een geweldige groei zien doormaken.

Inmiddels is het aantal OK 's verdubbeld tot 13.
De arbeidsmoraal van de specialisten en Het verplegend personeel is bijzonder hoog.

Veel specialisten werken van 0800 tot 2000 en kpmen in Het week-end nog even naar het Ziekenhuis.
Hun werk is hum hun hobby.

De jongere lichting artsen zit er iets anders in.

Mij beste maatje kreeg in 2010 diagnose longkanker een speciaal soort opereren is de kans op overleven nul er werd gezegd je hebt nog maar een jaar inmiddels is het 2020 en hij leeft nog steeds en sterker als ooit gaat niet naar het ziekenhuis en leeft bij de dag zoals die zegt God bepaalt
Hij gebruikt speed is Niet verslaafd hij rookt
Maar zet op dit moment de zo genaamde
wetenschap wel voor paal
Speed maakt de kanker kapot hoe simpel kan het wezen zegt u het maar !!!

Ik ben heel erg blij dat de artsen, doctoren, chirurgen en verplegend personeel
mij heel goed behandeld hebben. Ik was in uitstekende handen. Ik heb het overleefd!
Mijn dank jegens alle ziekenhuismedewerkers is heel erg groot!

If you come here as a patient, you will be received very kindly. A "warm" reception for the people who are already struggling at that time. Caring treatments. Staff, doctors, nurses and all those volunteers are ready for the patient. And luckily nowadays more and more patients are leaving this hospital. Yes, unfortunately, a patient still leaves the hospital forever. But luckily the doctors succeed more and more in research by giving people with cancer a future. Wat een FANTASTICH ziekenhuis echt geweldig en dan te bedenken dat mijn arts mij naar R.dam het Erasmus had willen sturen. Aan mijn nooit never niet, je wordt hier top geholpen alles is voor mij dan zeer zeker naar wens ik ben absoluut een tevreden mens.

It is not possible to get sick, especially if you are told that you have a whopper. When I heard that, my world collapsed. But I can say that for the best possible treatment you need to be at and in the AVL. All employees there are very involved and their ultimate goal is to work with you as a sick person on the best possible remedy.

Almost immediately after the information request, a response was made by telephone. With limited but not too little information. An example for any attitude that should serve as an example for all hospitals.

Fast and expert diagnoses. Very progressive in therapeutic advice.

At AVL SEE YOU SEE REALLY AS MAN AND AS PERSON. NOT AS A PATIENT, AS WITH ALL OTHER HOSPITALS IN THE HAGUE

Terribly arrogant staff! Wasted pissedly on my deadly father because the ambulance staff of the hospital from Leiden had brought him over an hour late, as if he had influence on that as a patient ... Then they asked him what he came to do !! A communication between two mopping organizations of the third garniture! Just before the intervention, the arrogant surgeon cynically told my father that he is a very expensive patient. The best man had not smoked, drank, and exercised a lot of sport, and paid high health insurance premiums throughout his life. He became accused of himself as if it were his own fault that he had become ill. Then the operation was doused by the arrogant surgeon, and my father was put without supervision with grunting pain for two hours in the hallway where he could wait for the ambulance that almost brought him to Rotterdam instead of to Leiden. From me there is NO CENT more to organizations like kwf, and my mother immediately stopped voluntarily collecting for this organization, which she has done over 20 years. Confidence in the white coats is completely ashamed by many doctors after many wrongdoing!

Came in as a day patient for a quick procedure. I had had an intake interview but between the interview and the procedure, there was a development in my condition of which I needed to inform the hospital. I struggled to get through and get some advice and, after seven calls, I finally managed to speak to someone. On the day of the procedure, everything went quickly, perhaps too quickly even, without anyone explaining to me what was going to happen next. Most of the time was spent in some sort of prep and recovery space with groggy patients wheeled in and out of the room in their beds, and the nursing staff joking whether they had the right name for each. When it was time for me to leave, I was going to be picked up by a friend who was not allowed to stop in the pick up zone by a guy supervising the zone and I had to make my way on my own which had been absolutely forbidden by the staff. All in all, everyone was friendly (except the guy at the parking zone), but I had the impression that the staff was had some sort of a target for the number of patients they could process as quickly as they could and I was left with questions about my procedure.

Great hospital with involved and sweet staff. You are always taken seriously and all your questions are dealt with extensively. Even if you sometimes lower your courage, they will make you come out of the pit again. Chapeau !!

Nothing but praise for the hospital staff, but that parking garage is a drama. Traffic jam if you want to go in, traffic jam when you leave and very expensive. It is detrimental to the good reputation of the hospital.

The best hospital in the Netherlands if you need to be treated for cancer. Fast, very knowledgeable, warm and human.

Deskundig. Klantvriendelijk. Communicatief. Gericht op heel Nederland door hun specialisatie op kankers. Dat betekent reizen als je niet uit Amsterdam of omgeving komt. Het AVL houdt rekening met het feit dat je reist, oa door een aantal afspraken op 1 dag te plannen, indien mogelijk. Ze doen daar echt hun best voor.
Ook werken ze eventueel samen met je arts in de regio en kun je deelbehandeling in je regio krijgen in overleg.
Ze zijn flexibel en mensgericht: je kunt altijd bellen met je vragen en wordt dezelfde dag teruggebeld/ je hebt een vast contactpersoon/ bij problemen kun je vaak dezelfde of volgende dag al komen.



Mijn keus is gebaseerd op hun grondigheid en grote deskundigheid en mogelijkheid tot het krijgen van de nieuwste, soms experimentele behandelingen. De plezierige respectvolle sfeer en goede begeleiding en bejegening is voor mij een bonus.

Tip: Er is een hostel aan verbonden voor t geval jij en familie moeten overnachten.
Met je zorgverzekering kun je overleg plegen over vergoeding van deze kosten. Ook reiskosten/ taxivervoer ivm behandeling zijn te declareren bij de zorgverzekeraar: overleg wel eerst even. Andere reiskosten af te trekken via de belastingen.

Bij vragen over second opinion of overstappen naar het AVL, kun je bellen en je krijgt een deskundige klantenservice die je vragen onderzoekt door de betreffende afdeling te bellen en die je adviseert met oog voor voor-en nadelen van overstappen.
Je kunt alleen overstappen als je nog een behandeling moet ondergaan!! Dus wacht niet te lang, informeren kan altijd.
Het voordeel van het overstappen was voor mij: grondiger controles, sneller plek voor de behandeling, en de actieve inzet van nieuwe behandelmethoden/ en meedoen aan experimenten om de behandelingen tegen kanker vooruit te helpen.

Kanker...liever niet. Maar voor behandeling of second opinion kan ik dit iedereen aanraden...als je dan toch kanker hebt.

Een goede ontvangst en goed geholpen door de verpleegkundige.

Kom er niet graag. Maar er werken zeer kundige artsen.
