Nissan Downtown Toronto Review

Took our Nissan in for and oil change and some recall warranty work. Other were completed on time as stated. They provided me a ride to work when I dropped off my car.

Purchased my 2016 rogue from Downtown Nissan 2 days before. It was a good experience & we are very satisfied & happy about the type of service we received. Our sales rep was Nimesh, and he was very helpful & knowledgeable explaining us the details about the car & the services, he helped us through out when we were there. Will definitely recommend this place for people who are looking for new automobile purchases..

Fiza made our first car purchase a very pleasant, stress free, easy experience. She and Omar walked us through the entire process like a breeze. From the reception to the car delivery, my family and I felt welcome and cared for. My service receptionist talked me out of taking my winter tires off on the weekend of the last ice rain. Instead she rescheduled me for the next weekend, and gave me a free interior and exterior wash. I feel like she actually cared?! and totally handled it so I didn't feel it was inconvenient.

I normally do not write reviews as I don t generally take the time out for it. This I am writing because of the great service I received at Nissan Downtown. I was in the market for a 370z, but in the beginning was not sure if I was going to get it or some sporty sedan and ended up looking at quite a few manufacturers and dealerships, some of the German brands for sporty sedans and also quite a few Nissan dealerships and other dealers selling Nissan 370z. At Nissan downtown, Colin showed me a few 370z options and tried his best to work out a deal for me but I wanted to still shop around and he was very patient. His service was exceptional in answering questions I would have from time to time, and unlike a lot of the other dealerships, he was really willing to work with me around my requirements, unlike a lot of other dealerships who are pushy. Finally, Colin worked out a really great deal for me, got the exact car and color that I wanted and it has been a great experience. I would highly recommend him if you are visiting Nissan Downtown!

This is an awesome service dealership. They service my car so well and they treat my car like it's their own! Tisha is an amazing service adviser...Tisha and I go back many years and she has never let me down even once. I had a little issue recently with my car and she needed to take it for a week while they waited for a part, and Tisha put me in a loaner vehicle and bent over backwards to make sure I was taken care of. Lenny, Greg, and Alex are really great as well...the whole team is good to know and always service with a smile. Highly recommend.

Fiza, Vlad, and Dave made the process of leasing my car very easy. They were knowledgeable and efficient at what they did. I was able to drive the car out of the dealership in less than a week which was crucial because I needed a car for work asap. Have bought 2 cars from them. First time buying the experience with my versa not was great. Sales girl the great. Very helpful and knowledgeable about the car. However when I went todo the service with them. Horrible. You never get what the sales person promises you. We go over that fact. And bought our next suv with them. Now first time back in for service same thing. Great sales guy. By never get what your told. Also they never explain anything thoroughly. We where looking now to buy another suv with them. But the I m tired of being told one thing at the time of sale and being told something else when I got to service it. They have now just lost a customer after buying 2 cars from them in 2 years. The sales person was awesome at the time of sale and the service manager is always really nice and helpful. But I feel like I m being lied to when being told things from the sales team and then not getting what I m told at service time. Also they currently have a free car cleaning detail kit when you book your appointment online. Witch I did and did not receive anything. Also I got to my appointment 10 mins early. And still had to wait over 2.5 hours for a simple oil change. Not impressed. I must say tho they are super friendly staff and the receptionists always make sure your being help and offer you drinks. They are always on top of things and make looking for a car a nice experience. Some other dealerships you can be looking at a car before anyone even says hello. While the receptionist are staring at dresses for sale on there phones it watching Snapchat.

Victor is a very well informed person to deal with. I had some questions and concerns about leasing a car and eventually got an offer I couldn't refuse.. I'm in the process of getting my new car and Victor has ALWAYS been helpful at every step of the process. Thank you again, Victor and Nissan Downtown. My pleasure to deal with professionals!

There are many problems with Nissan Canada, and most of them are generated by their service department personnel. Poorest customer service was experienced at Downtown Nissan on Dec 11 at 8am when dealing with Lenny. Not only were they going to charge me for unnecessary work, Lenny failed to understand what I was saying, and in the end, didn't ever provide the basic service commitment expressed by Nissan Canada for my vehicle. Instead, I left disappointed in Downtown Nissan but more importantly, I strongly believe that they were attempting to rip me off. The first thing that went wrong is Lenny didn't listen or understand what I was saying (although I spoke clear english). Second, he quoted me a higher than expected price for the service maintenance, and when I spoke up about it, I was told that parts that are clearly on warranty (I've had the Rogue for 6 months only), I was told that there was a change of $40 to service those parts. Since the parts were malfunctioning in my opinion (and I never received information otherwise), Lenny agreed to do me a favour and had the service people look at the tire sensors. I think they deflated my tires in the process as my tires dropped several PSIs after the tire check. All in all, I would avoid Downtown Nissan and Scarborough Nissan's service departments are they do not have adequately trained personnel on hand. Their only interest is to gouge their customers for service work that isn't required.

Great crew, greet you with big smiles. Superior technical knowledge and care, Nimesh got us a great deal. Helped us the whole way. I am definitely recommending everyone to go here first!

A great warm service .. team were so attentive to my need and got me a pre owned rouge car that met the needs of my family . they were efficient with document and car detailing while also keeping me safe in their showroom . highly recommend

The Mechanics at this location are very respectful and professional. Had a few issues during the first service visit that required having to come back to the shop 2 more times. The mechanics were helpful and knowledgable however had a TERRIBLE experience with the Service Manager named Dan. Was going to purchase a New Altima within the next year and even asked a sales associate some questions on my first visit however because of the Service Manager I will never purchase another Nissan again.

Dan The Service Manager is extremely rude, condescending and unprofessional. I was an upset customer however the Service Manager was very quick to become angry. By the end of our talk in this office he was yelling, clapping his hands and insulted my knowledge. The Manager treats you as if you do not know what you are talking about. He did very little to fix the situation, if anything he escalated the situation and made things worse. I was finished being insulted and talked down to and stated that I wanted to take my business elsewhere. At this point The Service manager got even more angry and continued to raise his voice.

Mechanics at this location are great however due to the experience with the Service Manager I will no longer be taking my car to this location and will not consider Nissan in the future for my next vehicle.

Working with Nimesh was a dream. Dealt with him for the purchase of 2 cars now, and would highly recommend

- I was first impressed when I called nissan downtown to schedule a repair and I was asked for my car's VIN number; I was then informed of a recall item that required fixing at no cost.
- The nissan consultant, Lenny, was very personable, friendly, and knowledgeable. He recommended a sensible course of action to address the issue (the check engine light was on). My car's problem was properly diagnosed, fixed, washed, and delivered. It's responsiveness on the road was great afterwards! However, the check engine light came on again later in the day, I called nissan downtown to complain and Lenny scheduled an immediate check up on the car (at no cost) and discovered it was caused by a minor new issue. This new issue was fixed quickly and at no cost -> and the car got a second wash :)

Try to avoid this dealership. They dont deliver what they committed. The manager was rude and he doesn't listen to what happend to the customer. He thinks he is always right and doesn't apologize. I got stuck between their internal politics and left stranded.

I helped my elderly mother purchase a used vehicle. Nimesh was very nice, patient, thorough and transparent. He and the staff showed good professionalism and helped make the purchasing experience comfortable and enjoyable for her. Thank you to all.

Victor was great following up in a very timely fashion and never seeming to pressure us to make a decision. Overall a great experience and we love our new Rogue.

I recently bought a used truck from this location. When I test drove it, it had a low tire on the rear. I was told it would be taken care of.

I took the vehicle home only to have it go completely flat after 2 days.

I expressed my concern to the dealership who promised to take care of it. A week later still no phone call and even after a followup call they still did not fix the issue.

Customer lost for life. Don t trust their word unless it s in writing.

I just had the best experience purchasing car here. Ceci Cao was my sales associate and she was really great. It was my first time to purchase vehicle here. And I was impressed by all of service at Nissan Downtown. I love the 2016 Rouge, the best selling car in Nissan. I have been couple dealerships before this one, but Ceci's professional service made me stay with Nissan Downtown. I felt that she worked at getting me the best price possible, which is key.

I bought my new Nissan Maxima at Nissan Downtown. I would like to thank both Glen, who sold the new car to me, and Vlad who handled the delivery when I picked up the car yesterday. RIP OFF ARTISTS!!! I took my 2008 Nissan Rogue in for servicing because my "service engine soon" light came on. They did the inspection and came back with a laundry list report of all the things apparently wrong with my car that were coloured "red" on the report indicating they must be fixed urgently and made my car dangerous to drive. Grand total of their estimate... $3974!!! At the same time, my car was giving no indication there were issues while driving, aside from the light being on.

I did not complete any work with them and took it to another mechanic for a 2nd opinion. To my surprise, everything they labeled as urgent and dangerous to be fixed was not even broken and only one item needed to be repaired for a grand total of $540 all in.

How can a reputable business intentionally mislead a customer to this extreme? $4000 to $500 is not even in the ballpark! I would have been happy if the 2nd estimate was half of what they were charging, but 80% less? Simply put, this quote was fraud and should be criminal!

I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN and I will not recommend them to anyone.

I had planned to buy a Mazda CX5 or a Subaru, but decided to check out the Rogue, since the price was right. This dealership was SOOO much better than the Mazda and Subaru dealerships.Both the salesperson and the manager were responsive without being pushy. They were very professional and knowledgeable. It made the buying experience much less stressful than I expected.

I am extremely disappointed with the quality of service that I have received from Downtown Nissan. On July 9th of this year, I went into Nissan to try and find a new car for myself. When I got there, I had great service and was happy thus far. One pre-owned car caught my eye but the salesmen assured me that even though it was a pre-owned car, the tires were brand new. Hearing this, I decided to buy it and be on my way. It wasn't until a couple days had passed that I noticed the tires had cracks on them, which wouldn't be the case if the tires were "brand new" as claimed by the salesman. When I brought it back in however, the dealership told me they would get back to me with updates. This was 2 months ago. Now when I try to contact them, they won't answer me back. In my opinion, I feel like I was cheated. I felt like the salesman was only nice and helpful to me because he just wanted to make a sale and did not care about me.

Took my Altima in for 2 recalls and maintenance. All the staff were very friendly and clear with what was to be done and informing me of options. I didn't feel pressured to do anything unnecessary.
I will definitely be back to this location for my car needs.

I dropped off my car on Thursday at 1:30, expecting my car to be ready for Friday afternoon. Instead I received a call that the detailing service was not even started and that I may need to pick it up on Wednesday. My job requires that I need a car and to suggest that it will take till Wednesday is unacceptable. I already took a day off on Friday because of it and to expect me to take another day off is poor customer service. He then said that he can get it to me by Saturday and when I come in to pick up my car on Saturday , the car was clearly not detailed at all. The car still had dust and salt stains.

I am very disappointed by Nissan.

Finally I got my new Qashqai/Nissan Car. My decision to go for Nissan for the second time is due to my full satisfaction with my previous car, Sentra. I was lied to manny times ... check your bill of sale .. there is so manny lies and fees u dont hiden. Dont believe they will take your lease earlier without charging u like they offered me ... or give u winter mats ! U need to find for it ... it was embarrassing how i was played . Best experiences with Downtown Nissan and Infiniti sales and service. I have purchased my last 2 cars here (pre-owned) and have been very pleased both times. No high pressure sales, very transparent on pricing and cost. Buying and servicing a car does take a number of trips to the dealership so worth keeping in mind when shopping at lots outside of downtown. Great service from everyone I interacted with in sales (James, Leo and Glenn) and always top notch service in the service department with Natisha who works hard to give honest advice and doesn t push upsells or unnecessary services. Can t say enough good things about this dealership.

I am very happy with the overall services from this dealer. I found both the sales person and the manager helpful and welcoming. I am happy with the way they show me the car and its price. The negotiation was clear and open, they show me all the breakdown and possible rebates. Driving my new Altima those days, reminds me the great experience I had with Nissan Downtown Toronto. Firstly, everyone in the sales lounge are very kind and thoughtful for asking anything that you may need. I would like to mention Milo Chen the sale agent for my purchase. He introduced and explained a lot of details of a various model of vehicle that I may have interested in. Had great conversation with him and he answered all my questions and concerns. Most importantly, he did a great job on the offer of the new vehicle and saved me a lot of money! I would recommend to my friend who are interested in Nissan and of course Milo to be their sales agent.

Was just looking around for a new car, since our old CRV was falling apart. And the service and attention I received from Colin Diaz was absolutely AMAZING. That after a test ride and crunching numbers, my wife and I actually traded in our CRV and picked up a new Rogue. ( That we love ). To be honest, if Colin Diaz was not so detailed and comfortable to work with. We would not have jumped so fast. He is defiantly the man to talk to if you looking for any information or details/deals on a new/used Nissan. VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER!!

It wasn t my intention to roll into a new lease right now, but after answering a call from
Fiza at Downtown Nissan, with some hesitancy, I agreed to go in to check out my current car and to talk about some options of my current lease. This led to a very easy, seamless and quick transfer from my 2017 rogue to a 2020 kicks. Fiza was quick, efficient, worked within my criteria and got me into a great new car with all the bells and whistles. Bought my nissan there and definitely recommend it. Victor at sales, vlad at the delivery department and solman the manger went above and beyond to help me.

The first time I was there and they were all awesome, professional at work, and a good atmosphere, especially the gentleman in reception.

When you really need help they just ask you to wait. and if
you want to change your choice after you paid the deposit, just let they keep the money. You do not want to hear more than the manager say " do you want to meet in the court?"

I just recently bought and took delivery of a used 2018 Murano from Nissan Downtown. Originally the
sales process began when I found the car online by viewing the Nissan Downtown web site. I liked what I
saw and emailed the dealership with my contact and trade-in information. The reply was quick and after
some conversation, sales person Mikhael agreed to bring the vehicle to my home for a test drive. A
couple of days later my wife and I were introduced to the vehicle and without any pressure for time
drove it around and inspected it carefully. All questions were answered in an orderly manner. We needed
to think about it and told Mikhael we would be in touch and did so the next day making an appointment
to buy the Murano and for them to evaluate our car and offer a trade-in amount to seal the deal. Once
at the dealership, we went through a bit of negotiating between Mikhael and Ron the used car manager.
Eventually we came to terms with the trade-in value and sales purchase amount. Once this was settled,
we were introduced to Omar the finance manager who took his time and discussed the extended
protection plans that I was interested in acquiring. Once again no pressure. Everyone allowed us as much
time as we needed to come to a decision. I want to particularly thank Mikhael for his tireless efforts and
going beyond the call of duty to ensure that we were completely satisfied. If you ever need to buy a new
or used vehicle and want to be made to feel like you are his only customer, Mikhael is your go to sales
person . I also, would like to thank Ron who went out of his way in providing us a fair trade-in value and
also in providing some other items that were requested. On delivery, we were introduced to Vlad who
took us through the final sales documents and and inspection of the vehicle. Which, by the way was
spotless and detailed to like new condition.
If there is any criticism, it is only a minor one to do with the the extended protection plan that we
purchased. Rather than going through a lot of pages, I wish that there was a handy summary card or
cheat sheet providing a synopsis of what we had purchased. Over time we tend to forget what is that we
bought. Like I said, a minor criticism.
Being someone who hates buying cars, I would have to say that overall the process was very positive and
transparent. The entire staff at Nissan Downtown was terrific to deal with. I would purchase another
vehicle from this dealership.

Update!!!!!!!!
Already one year, they still didn't solve my problem and since I complain to head office, a leave truth on Google map. They are not response for their fault and lies anymore.

Two thing:
1) Delivered the car different from what their sales manager promised.
2) Reply slow, and the issue above did not get solved since February 2020.

Editing after purchasing another vehicle after our lease expired. This experience was much different than my previous purchase. They are extremely accommodating while they court your purchase, saying anything to get you to buy, including promises they didn't keep. Once you drive off the lot it's hard to get even a simple response email.

They didn't live up to previous expectations this time around. Disappointing.

The same day I was able to get a test drive of Qashqai. Victor answered all my questions about the car not only during an appointment but also when I was deciding and texted or called with additional questions. The car was delivered faster than promised. Generally, excellent service - I definitely recommend Nissan Downtown and advisor - Victor. Love my new Nissan Qashqai.

I recently purchased used 2016 Nissan Maxima Platinum from Nissan Downtown location and had an excellent experience. The staff here is very friendly and cheerful. I have dealt with Nimesh and Leo Kim who have been very professional, helpful, and provided me with personalized customer service. They have fulfilled all requests I made to them including bluffing the entire vehicle to remove paint swirls, scratches (normal to have with used black vehicle), removing stains from the interior leather, providing vehicle service history and Nissan CPO checklist (normally not part of the package), detailing the car couple times among other things. Both Nimesh and Leo were patient and upfront with my questions. They did pretty good job from start to pick-up date of the car.

The dealership also had great policies particularly over used vehicles including 30 days or 1,500 km vehicle exchange (better than Nissan Canada s CPO exchange policy) and 3 months/6,000 km peace-of-mind promise for remedying all mechanical defects should they arise.

I highly recommend buying a car from this dealership. This dealership definitely stands out from others. Kudos to this dealership and please keep up Nissan Downtown!

After visiting the nissan.ca website to determine the Nissan Pathfinder model and accessories I wanted I went to the Nissan Downtown website and left a message providing the Pathfinder details.
A short time later I received an email response from Nimesh, their internet sales manager. I confirmed with him the model, colour and accessories. He got back to me within the hour and said they had the car. Amazing.
Nimesh was prompt, courteous, knowledgable and extremely helpful. We completed the deal via a quick phone call and arranged for me to pick up the car as soon as new plates could be acquired the following day from MTO.
It was the most efficient, simple, and pleasurable car shopping experience I've ever had. I have nothing but praise for Nimesh and Nissan Downtown. Kudos!

After spending days looking for a car to buy, analyzing several reviews, and going to many dealerships where the only thing they care about is selling you whatever they have available no matter if it fits with your needs and if you really can afford it; I went to Nissan Downtown Toronto where I can say, I found what I needed, super friendly and very professional with customers especially from Oscar Solorzano, this guy took his time to go in details on my needs and gave me really helpful recommendations which I really appreciate. I didn't felt I like was in the pressure to buy something from him, I felt like I was with a friend giving me a great advice instead. I'm really happy with my experience at Nissan Downtown Toronto and especially for having someone like Oscar to help out in all my inquiries. If you go there ask for Oscar, he won't let you down!

I leased a 2016 Nissan Rogue SV FWD from downtown Nissan. I recently moved to Canada and did not have a Canadian credit history when I needed a car. So, I went to downtown Nissan and explained my situation. They were very welcoming and agreed to get our credit application approved anyway they can. My sales agent was Nimesh Kandy. He was very friendly and attentive. Nimesh always replied in a timely fashion and answered all of my inquiries. Sales manager Anson and finance manager Al helped us with getting our credit application approved through Nissan Canada Finance. Since, my work contract is for less than a year, I had to make a $3000 deposit and also a co-signer who is a permanent resident. Co-signer, although, does not hold the title or anything. Anson, Al, and Nimesh were very helpful and accommodating us throughout the process. The entire process took about a month. I am very impressed with their supportiveness during the entire process. It is a great comfort to find a team of professionals that are honestly interested in helping you. Not only my situation was complicated, I also got a really a good car deal from downtown Nissan. So I recommend to anyone who has a situation like me or otherwise, to go to downtown Nissan because Nimesh, Anson, Al, and the team is really professional and genuinely will help you to have a good deal.

It`s a nice dealership and People there are very friendly. I knew nothing about the cars, the salesperson David help me find what I need and presented the car (Rogue) in a very professional way. I like that car and I think I need to rethink the timing to buy the car.

Management are so lean toward staff abusing customers.
