My entire family loves this salon! Wonderful inviting atmosphere and the most professional stylists. Mary always goes above and beyond to make us happy! Would recommend to anyone!

I love NICO!! I have been going to Rae for years and followed her to Nico. Best. Choice. Ever. She is amazing at color and nails it every time. Make sure to book far in advance (something I am not good at). Rae books very quickly!

I haven't had my hair cut in over 4 years and I am so thankful I chose Nico Spalon. Kristin gave me an ombre and cut my hair and I couldn't be happier! I am so happy with how my hair turned out and I will definitely be back in the future :)

I have been following Rick Stache around Morgantown since he had his own salon in Suncrest. I have always had positive results with Rick as my stylist. Even better now that he is at Nico and I can enjoy all of the services that are available. I have had the air brush makeup several times, with miraculous results. Also, keratin has changed my hair styling life forever. With the keratin treatments and a quick flat iron in the morning I am ready for anything life throws my way. I also love the "front of the house" service at Nico and listening to Audra, Rachel and Whitney interact with their clients. I actually enjoy going there every 6 weeks or so which is saying a lot. Visiting a "salon" is not usually my idea of fun. If you are looking for a new stylist or new to Morgantown give Nico a try, they will not disappoint.

After many years, I finally found a stylist I love in Josh McCoy. His talent in cut and color far exceeds any one that I have been to in 40 years. Many stylists are great with straight hair; however, my daughter has curly hair. When many stylists have failed her with poor cuts, Josh excelled. Strangers stop her and ask her who does her hair, and ask me about my color. Not only is he great with women's cuts, he does a great job with my son's and my elementary school daughter's. If you are looking for a change in stylists due to a stagnant relationship or are new to the area, don't hesitate to make an appointment with Josh. Check out his instagram page (joshdidmyhair). Nico Spalon is a fantastic place. I got a cut and color from Makayla and it turned out perfectly! She listened to my concerns and absolutely transformed my hair. The other staff were friendly and helpful as well. I am so happy with my experience at Nico. I won't be going anywhere else to get my hair done. If I could leave more than 5 stars I would.

It was my first time at Nico Spalon. I felt at home as soon as I walked in the door. I checked in and was offered a beverage. Was greeted by my stylist Kristen a few minutes later. I had a Deva cut and style. This salon is one of few close to me that offer this dry cut on curly hair. I love it. My curls are much healthier and have bounced back since some of the weight was taken off. I will be going back for a color next. Highly recommended!

Bar none the best salon I've ever been to in my life. Have had my haircut by Rick, Audra, and Rachel. They were all extremely professional and I never left with anything less than a five star experience. I was so pleased that not only do I go there, but my sister, mom and old lady regularly visit as well. Top notch place with many talented stylists. I am a loyal Nico client - Rae is the best colorist out there, and is a true artist with hair. Nick and his staff are doing this RIGHT! The salon is so inviting, and everyone is very professional and friendly.

I have been going to Michelle Hamrick for over 3 years now for my waxing (brazilian) needs. She is wonderful!!! She does an excellent job and always makes me feel super comfortable. We chat like we've been great friends forever! I recommend anyone that is looking for someone to wax them for the first time or they want a change to go to Nico and see Michelle. You will not regret it! :)

This place is always a good choice. They have a very modern approach to hair! The building is beautiful and spacious, and they also offer drinks while you wait! I've been going to Josh for a while, and he is the best I've ever had. He is very knowledgeable about men's hair and always offers the best tips and recommendations for finding (or keeping) your look.

I've been to Nico Spalon twice now and have seen Ashley Cage both times. I even had a friend see her! I have been so pleased with the work she does and walk away happier than I walked in. This last time I asked for a beautiful shade of purple and she delivered! She made sure I was comfortable and made sure my hair was taken care of and done exactly how I envisioned it. She's super sweet and I'm not surprised, her and everyone else at Nico Spalon make me feel very welcomed. I find myself lucky to have found a wonderful hairstylist who I WILL be seeing anytime I need my hair done as long as I'm in Morgantown. I'd recommend this place above any other place I've been in Morgantown. Above and beyond.

Whitney Oliverio has been my stylist for many years now and always has done a fantastic job with my hair cuts and colors. She pampers me with coffee and flavored creamers. She has held me while I cried and supported me through scary times. She listens to me and gives great advice on new styles. She is always prompt with her appointments and greets me with the biggest hugs! Love her!

I have been going to NIco Hair Salon for about a year and a half now. Their staff is so friendly and professional. And their prices are reasonable for top quality cut and color services. I tried everywhere for the perfect color and no one could achieve it. I tried Reggis and Trilogy, and I would always leave very disappointed. But ZACH, hit the spot the first try! He transformed my hair into exactly what i wanted. I go to him every month for root touch up and a keratin treatment. Everyone is always asking who does my hair because it looks so fantastic! I don't see myself ever going to any other place!!!

Made an appointment online, was called that morning and told my stylist was running late and had to make it later that day. Got there when I was told to be there by the receptionist all to get a bitchy attitude from what I am assuming is the manager saying I was late and needed to reschedule because my stylist was washing someones hair. I did not even get an apology, just an eye roll. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

Best place to maintain or change your current hairstyle, cut and color. I like going in without a plan and just pictures of something I want to try with my cut or color. Whitney is amazing at creating a masterpiece and blending my style with the images I bring in.

I've been going to Nico Spalon for several years. Whitney is the best and a great colorist-she knows what questions to ask to make sure I get the color/tone that I want. She worked with me prior to my son's wedding to ensure my hair was the right length for the style I chose and she also did my make up for the wedding. She was amazing! I looked like myself (only better!) and my hair and make up lasted the entire day. Love it there-professional yet friendly from the time I walk in the door!

Josh is literally the stylist you have been dreaming of! Once I found him, I made a promise to myself to NEVER go to anyone else. I have recommended him to everyone I know! Not only is he the only person I let touch my hair, but he can give you exactly what you want within a few hours. He was the first stylist I TRULY felt comfortable with my hair. He is professional, personable, kind, honest, and works magic on your hair like you would never believe. I always leave feeling beautiful and confident because of Josh's magic hands!

My hairstylist Josh McCoy, is amazing, from his ability to listen, fix, color, and absolutely conquer every idea and appointment I have with him! I've have had bad experiences with different places before, so going into this place I was nervous, However, after one visit, now I go back trusting he will take the reigns and I will leave with a smile on my face and so happy with the quality of his work and how everything he does turns out great! I was very lucky when I was given the recommendation to go to Ashley Cage at NICO! I have been nothing but thrilled with her work and my experience at NICO Spalon! They are amazingly professional, always positive and friendly, and the environment/customer service is a cut above the rest. However, what I am most impressed with is their ability to give back to the community. I have seen their work at WVU Children's Hospital, Cuts for a Cause, and their generous donations to public schools in the area. They are awesome!

I love the atmosphere of Nico Salon! Everyone is very friendly and tentative to their customers and employees are very respected by the owner Nic Romanoli whom cuts my hair and does a fabulous job every time! All of the employees are very well talented from cutting hair to doing makeup and Mary Francis is the girl for that! Her work is absolutely breathtaking, not to mention she does fabulous job waxing eyebrows! I love this salon! Best in the Morgantown area for sure!

Josh is amazing!! He always has the PERFECT color for me! He reads my mind before I even explain what I am looking for! I have fine, thin hair and he works magic! Went to Nico for a keratin treatment. The Salon is beautiful, the people are friendly. The treatment, terrible. The results washed out within 3 weeks and I do not wash my hair daily. I have been receiving keratin treatments for the past 3 years and this has been the worst experience I have ever had. I wrote a note to complain and was offered to come in and fix it that day- even though in my note it stated I wouldn't be back in the area for another week or so- then crickets on my response to them What a disappointment since I recently moved and was looking for a full service salon. Would never recommend this place for anything. It is all show....

I had a hard time finding hair salons in Morgantown that I liked.... Until I found NICO! I saw Josh and LOVED what he did for my hair. He helped me find something new to do to my hair that I had not thought of. A little pricey but totally worth it!

If you want a terrible haircut for a crazy price, this is your place. I decided to give this place a try due to the good reviews and since I live so far from home being a college student I needed a new hair dresser. I went here with good intentions and went out hating my hair. I was very unsatisfied as the haircut I asked for was NOTHING like what I got. The layers were NOT consistent throughout my hair and there was about an inch different throughout my hair within only the top layer (which is supposed to be the same length). Therefore I went back to get it fixed by the same stylist and she STILL didn't fix it. I called in and went back three days later to a different stylist to have it fixed AGAIN and It still WAS NOT LAYING EVENELY OR CORRECTLY, IT LOOKED TERRIBLE. I thought maybe it was just me so I drove an hour and a half back to my hair stylist to get it fixed again. When she looked at the layers she laughed because it looked like a 5 year old did it. There was chunks missing in spots and then huge long pieces in my top layer that were as long as my botttom layer(this isn't supposed to be this way). I have THICK CURLY hair and was informed that they had the best stylist for my hair. However they did not. After paying 55$ for this haircut and it being that terrible. I definitely WOULD NOT recommend going to this salon. I asked for a simple hair cut and I ended up having to go somewhere else to fix it because they have five year olds cutting hair there. SERIOUSLY DON'T GO THERE.

I love Nicos!!! My stylist Rachel Harman is amazing!!! When I first started with her around 5 years ago my hair was unhealthy and badly damaged....now with Rachel's expert advice my hair is better and longer than it has ever been. I highly recommend Rachel or any of the amazing stylist at Nicos. It is a very welcoming environment and friendly staff. They will definitely take care of you.

Went to Zach and for a cut that was less than half an inch, long layers and some bangs cost me $60! I didn't even get that much taken off nor did I get a color. Way to much for a simple cut. Won't be going back there ever again!

I have naturally curly hair and have found a lot of hairstylist be intimidated by my curls but not Kristen! I went in for my first DevaCut and was beyond impressed. She took the time to explain the process to me and then patiently cut each curl one by one! We joked about starting my "hair journey" together and I could tell she was genuine about getting me to the healthy curls I need! The price of a DevaCut is higher but well worth it. I'm excited to have found a stylist that is dedicated to curls!

Loved my deva cut! Mary took a lot of time explaining the cut to me, how to style and care for my hair, and sent me home with samples of the products she used. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Staff was beyond friendly and the establishment is beautiful. The deva cut is $80 and well worth it. It was recommended I could wait 2-3 months between cuts, so IMO that's a bargain.

Josh is absolutely wonderful! He has helped my hair become so healthy over time which has been a task because my hair is so curly. 5 star review for Nico Spalon! I just had my first experience at Nico Spalon this past Saturday and I couldn't be more pleased. I decided to come here after seeing other great reviews. I just recently had a bad experience at another salon and was very hesitant about trying another. I asked the salon I went to before Nico's for subtle blonde highlights. I ended up with bleach blonde hair. I wanted to go back to brown immediately. I went to Nico's for a consultation this past Wednesday and Ross took great care of me. She took the time to listen to my concerns and put a lot of thought in how to get me to the color I wanted. I left there on Saturday with a huge smile in my face. She got my hair to look exactly how I wanted it! I don't plan on ever going anywhere else other than Nico Spalon! Thanks again Ross!

Nico Spalon is definitely the best hair salon in Morgantown. Rachel Harman has created my ongoing new looks for the last 7 years and has done a phenomenal job. I have the tendency to change things up a bit especially with different colors and highlights. And no matter what craziness I come up with my hair is always flawless. The salon is very clean and inviting and I feel the services are reasonably priced. I would highly recommend Nico Spalon & Rachel Harman to meet your hair styling needs!!

Joshua McCoy is awesome and creative. He is very well versed and very good with our entire family including our three year old son. My son was a little over one year old when Josh started cutting his hair and now he can't wait to go see Josh! My wife and I couldn't recommend a better stylist!

I love Nico Spalon! I started seeing Nick at Tonique when I was 15 years old. I am now 41, so I've been a fan of his work for more than half my life! Nick was the first stylist to actually give my naturally curly hair a "style." He gave me a cute bob with a part on the right. I've kept that same part throughout my life and all my hair styles, so I'm thankful I followed him to his new business, Nico Spalon.

I was scheduled with Whitney Cayton several years ago and have been her client ever since. Whitney is amazing...you should see what she has done to transform my hair! I get keratin treatments regularly, color and the cuts are awesome. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my hair! She does the perfect color for me and I have never once been displeased with the results. The front staff is so welcoming, the salon is beautiful and they carry high quality products. Best salon in Morgantown!! Professional and friendly staff, awesome stylists. I have been going to Audra for ~ 5 yrs now and she is, by far, the best stylist/color expert I have ever had. Audra also does a killer blowout. It amazes me how she can dry/style my [fine-textured] hair using nothing but a round brush and give it volume that lasts for days. She seriously should open her own blowout salon! :-)

I never write reviews, but I have been so impressed with my experience at Nico Spalon, and particularly Rachel Harman, that I had to leave a note. Rachel has done my hair for 9+ years and in all of those years, she has kept my many shades of blonde highlights looking beautiful. She will always find flattering shades to my fair skin whether I want warmer blonde for the summer or cooler tones for the winter. I've gone through several styles over the last 9 years, and I always receive compliments on my cuts and color. She has even done my updos, and they always turn out great and stay in place (unlike others done in Morgantown). Finally, not only is Rachel the best stylist I have ever used, she is also sweet as can be. I look forward to getting to chat at our appointments every couple months. Highly recommended.

Nico Salon is top notch with amazing stylists. Joshua McCoy is my personal preference and not just for myself, but my kids as well. He does an amazing job when you not only have a specific style/color in mind but when you're just up for a change, he does wonders! A huge plus is his experience with thick curly hair too!
