Unbelievably cool experience, Very thankful to have the opportunity to run into both Walter and Mike and have them be nice enough to take a picture with me. Very cool!

Not as many back issues as they used to have but they do have a lot of the new books and awesome View Askew stuff

They were filming for their show the day we came to shop & were very curtious in redirecting pedestrian traffic & answering questions on when the store would be open. The actors actually were gracious enough to take photos & sign autographs since we had to wait to enter during a filming break. They even helped me locate a comic book artist & wished me a happy birthday. VERY humble guys with fantastic fan report. Bonus...Starsky & Hutch car was right outside.

My 1st visit was 10yrs ago ... my most recent was Nov 2016 ... It is a true mecca for Kevin Smith, Tell'Em Steve Dave, & AMC Comic Book Men Faithful.

My son and I love this show. I like old Adam West Batman. I would run around in a cape as Dee Dee man. The Penguin is a clever idea for an arch villain. For the action figure to be called fat and red headed step child made me sad for the figure. I'd give the figure a good home. I have the boxed DVDs, so I can see Bang, Biff, and Smash pop up anytime I'm in the mood. I think that's one of the reasons I learned to read quickly. Just had to get that off my chest. Carry on. Visiting is on my bucket list.

I know it's a tourist stop. I know the focus is more about moving all the Kevin Smith merchandise. I'll always rate them 5 stars cause everytime I visit with my son he leaves with a smile on his face.

It's a unique comic book store. A lot of Kevin Smith, related Merch.

Lots of cool movie props from all of Kevin Smiths films but other than that just another disorganized comic book shop. I was expecting a little more to be honest but was still happy with my experience. Cool shirts and a few rare items but just lacking that wow factor.

Don't come here if you are actually looking to browse comics selection. You could do much better especially with NY right by. This place is much more a TV set than a comics shop.

I've been visiting Red Bank on and off for the past 10 years and Jay & Silent Bob's Secret Stash is a must visit when you are in town. The street it is on has been gentrified and it's a much more appealing shopping excursion now more than ever. The store is quiet as it is a comic book store but it is also like a museum. Are you a fan of Clerks? Jay and Silent Bob? Hockey? NJ? Jersey Girl? Calling all Kevin Smith fans. Pay your respects. There is no other comic book shop like this one.

I went with my husband and son, they are both big fans of the show, we were looking threw the racks and along came Walt from the back, both of them had their mouth wide open with shock.

Walt was so amazing we got pictures with him, It was the best time my son has ever had.

Very cool store. The prices are not overboard. The guys that work there are nice and helpful. This is good place to shop.

Not a big comic book fan, but it is a pretty cool place to go and take a peek. I've walked by a few times and they are recording a show of some kind in there. The coolest thing for me is that its a local place but is well known by so many because of their movies.

It's cool even if you are not a comic book fan. Lots of cool Kevin Smith movie merch and toys.

The best! Hi Kevin - I'm the girl who got hit be a car in the back alley. I was buying the signed Mall Rats script! :D

The way the place is decorated makes other comic book stores look like rundown flea markets. This place creates this great ambience when you first walk inside. You'll see nice comic book paintings on the wall, figurines on nice looking shelves, everything is well organized and not cramp up.

Unfortunately that's where it ends, everything is expensive, small selection of omnibus books and other collected books. It does have a good collection of trades, single issues, figurines and merchandise but mostly of Jay and silent Bob. The guy who works there is friendly but doesn't really offer his help unless you ask for it, he just keeps himself preoccupied behind the counter or talking to someone else who works there.

Exactly what you would expect. Lots of great comics and novelty.

Very helpful I call them when I think I have something worth something and all three times I have been helped with great help over the three different times I ve called them for advice on the worth of something, if you are in the state stop into the comic shop browse the comics or find out what collectible/comic you may have may be worth something, I defiantly would take a peek at what they have. The staff are still super helpful and you definitely should stop in or call.

We drove from Ohio the night before. We decided it would be cool to stop in since we were in New Jersey. We walked in and Mike and an associate we're watching TV. We literally walked past both of them No Hi. No what are you looking for? We look around for 10 min and still nothing. They were more in to watching the 80s game show. Honestly we should have walked out but promised our daughter something cool. Spent 40 ish bucks. I wish we didn't . The place was not all that . We were total fans of the show . Not now ! I really could have been a better experience if they seriously would have at least say hi or welcome in. They spent the time we were there yelling at the TV over the door we walked in.

Great homage to Kevin Smith and his movies. Staff from Comic Book men the show, actually work there. Michael was friendly.

Been in there a few times it's good and they have a descent selection of comics and if you are a fan of the jay and silent bob movies and stuff you can buy some of props used in them which is pretty cool

Great comic book shop! If you are a comic book fan or a Kevin Smith fan or a fan of Comic Book Men, this shop is for you. Obviously, lots of Comic book stuff and memorabilia but also a lot of Kevin Smith memorabilia as well. The coolest thing is you can find Mike or Walt (from Comic Book Men, Tell Em Steve Dave, Ming and Mike) working in the store. They are nice, genuine people and while I was there Mike was even nice enough to take a picture with me. Great shop! I can't wait to go back!

Staff is great, really friendly in my experience. They strike up conversations about anythingand everything. Love it here, especially the Kevin Smith memorabilia (super fan).

Very disappointed. I am a Huge Kevin Smith/ ViewAskew fan. I was in Atlantic City, decided to make the 1.5 hour or so drive from AC to Red Bank to check out the Secret Stash. I was so pumped! However, when I stepped inside the stash my excitement soon dissapeared. Mike, the dude from Comic Book Men was working. He was cold and angry. Didn't greet us upon entering. Seemed annoyed and angry at any potential prospect of carrying on a conversation. His demeanor and attitude killed my experience. I was happy to check out the Secret Stash, but Mike def killed my vibe.

Awesome place. Mike Zapcic was working the register when I went. He was really down to earth. Lots of cool stuff to see and prices weren't as high as I expected.

If you don't know Silent Bob, you should meet Sleven Spielberg

I would so love to come to this place when it's being filmed of their show Comic Book Men. Too bad I live all the way here in Arizona but it's fine. Maybe one day I'll fly to New Jersey to go there

Great experience for my husband who has been dying to go here for ages. Smaller than i expected. He even got to see Mike one of the cast members from the show.

Iconic Comic Book Shop! More of a tourist stop due to the celebrity status of Kevin Smith and Comic Book Men cult...visiting hear does always bring a smile to my face!

Cannot wait to plan my trip to see Mike, Ming, Robert Bruce and the rest.

As a ViewAskew nerd I was so hyped to be here. Even cool than it looks on tv and bigger than I expected. So much viewaskew merch, I was overwhelmed but happy. And a great selection of coics outaide this universe too! I also liked the high ceiling and bright lights.

I love the Secret Stash! Got some back issues I searched for years and couldn't find and got some unique items such as an autographed Spiderman/Deadpool signed by Brian Quinn of the Impractical Jokers. And of course some tee shirts, hats, stickers and signed Kevin Smith books. Plus the guys there are awesome everyday people.

Pretty cool if you're into the movies or just a comic book fan. The stock is kind of small but it's worth taking a look into if you're passing by and are a dweeb like me.

Fun place for a quick visit! Comics and memorabilia.

Always love coming here. It's got Jersey pride AND history balled up into one awesome comic shop. Part tourist trap, part geek paradise. Thumbs up!

The staff may be the best of any comic store I've ever been too. They talk to you instead of just giving a nod. The selection of items is beyond amazing (not to mention the awesome decor) EVERY time I've been there I've been blown away at how down to earth the guys in the store are despite being tv shows hosts.

Great comic book shop. Lots of regular items at any comic book store. Good selection of merch from Kevin Smith movies and the stores merch. Staff was great. Muke was really nice and funny. Cant wait to go back again.

We flew in from Canada just to see the shop, then we were so happy to see the Comic Book Men working the shop. They were so friendly and signed my poster plus I bought the Admiral Kirk action figure Autographed by William Shatner . (Aired in Episode 12 season 2).

Beautiful store. I was star struck when I saw that the cast of comic book men were still working there. I also picked up clerks 2 (signed) and got aqua man comics and an original issue of aqua man (#63) for $8.00!

It is as good as it looks on TV. Worth the drive, and the street its on is fantastic and has lots of great things.

Not just a noteable place due to Kevin Smith but a well staffed and appointed comic shop as well. Had a three issue run I was looking for and gave it to me for a good price.

Nice comic book store but with limited back issues. Good mix, don't get me wrong, but they did not have any of the 20 year old books from my list.
