Rachel Ware is the best! I can't speak on anyone else there, but Rachel Ware is amazing!!! I have followed her since I met her at the Beauty School. She is extremely sweet and super helpful. She goes out of her way to look up information to help my hair be the best it can be. She has no problem texting about new ideas you want to try on your hair, and she is very creative! Check her out!!!
I love this place! Joshua McCoy (he did my extensions pictured below) and Jessica Ross both do my hair and they are both amazing. I moved to Morgantown in August and have been seeing them ever since for extensions, cuts, and colors. They both always go above and beyond to make sure I love my hair. Whenever I had an issue with my extensions (not Josh's fault in any way) he worked me into his schedule ASAP to fix it quickly. I am incredibly picky but Josh and Ross always make me love my hair (which is really hard to do) and stay patient with me, lol. Definitely recommend this place and these stylists, 10/10.
I love Nico Spalon!! Josh McCoy has been doing my hair for almost 2 years. He's the best!! He is so gifted with color. My color is always PERFECT!! He makes suggestions that makes my hair look more beautiful than I could ever imagine. I'll never let anyone else touch my hair. He's also great to talk to and always makes me feel comfortable and welcome.
I had the most wonderful experience here than I've ever had in any other place. They treat you like family and it feels like you're home once you walk through the door. This was the first time I've ever been to Nico and I will definitely go back again! Zach H. was wonderful and has a great personality and he can color hair like it's nobody's business! I love going to Nico to have my hair done. Everyone there is so friendly and the coffee is delicious. Josh and Rick always do a fantastic job with my cut and color. Josh has given me some new ideas to try with my hair color and I love it!

I was visiting my daughter from out of town and as a treat we were going to have our hair done. I loved mine, she didn't like hers and was pretty upset. I called and spoke to the manager. He was the best -- wanted her to come back in so that he would have a chance to be sure that she left happy. She went back and was well taken care of and happy with the results. Hats off to Nico Spalon -- you've got our trust, respect, and business!

I am a student and I have been getting my haircut by Josh for over a year now. He has consistently given me the best haircuts I've ever gotten in Morgantown (20+ years). He's very friendly, easy to talk to, and great about working with you to make sure you get the haircut you want. Highly recommend!
Nico Spalon is THE best place to get anything done to your hair, and Josh McCoy is the best person to do it! He is extremely talented and well education on all hair types. I would definitely recommend making an appointment with him as soon as possible. He will make your hair perfect while also using the least damaging methods that he can to keep your hair healthy.
Nico Spalon is the best place to get your hair done in Morgantown!!! The atmosphere is relaxing,the staff and stylists are professional and friendly and up on current hair trends, and Nico has the best product selection in town. My stylist, Whitney Oliverio, is amazing! She is super friendly and accommodating and I always walk out of Nico looking fabulous. I am constantly changing things up with my color and she always knows just what I want done and makes it happen. Absolutely no one but Nico touches my hair!!!!
My favorite place to go in Morgantown. Staff is always friendly and hospitable. I also like the atmosphere, it's relaxing. It's more on the expensive side, but I normally just go for a bang trim and they are courteous enough to knock down the price. I always recommend this place.
Whitney at Nico Spalon is fantastic! I am such a baby about change and worry so much about cutting my hair and Whitney always has me leaving with a smile on my face! She always makes feel comfortable and does a fantastic job and makes sure I get exactly what I'm looking for.
I had a wonderful experiance at Nico's this past Tuesday. I had an appointment with Mckayla and she was awesome! She was very patient with me when trying to figure out exactly what kind of cut I wanted. The end result was exactly what I wanted. I will be coming back for sure.
I have been going to Nico for several years now and I couldn't imagine going anywhere else. Not only do I leave with my hair looking fabulous but I thoroughly enjoy the time that I spend when I am there. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the staff are all so friendly you feel like you are among old friends. I also take both of my children to Nico as well, so the fact that they are family friendly is just another added bonus!

As a women of color living in Morgantown I struggled with finding a hair salon, I was traveling out of state just to get my hair done, then I found Anthony, he was completely honest about what he knew about African American and felt comfortable with achieving the results I wanted. All I can say is he slayed it!!! I walked out swinging my hair like yes!! I highly recommend anyone of color to go to him. I am completely natural and he had me walking out like I just got a relaxer.

I have been going to Nico Spalon for 8 years. For all 8 years I have had the privilege of having Whitney cut and style my hair. She made me feel absolutely beautiful for my wedding day by creating the perfect look for me with both my hair and my makeup. She has also given my son his very first haircut and every one of them since. Nico Spalon is a relaxing environment, all of the staff is welcoming and I won't go anywhere else in Morgantown!!
I will never go to another place in Morgantown for my hair, as long as I'm living here. Unless Kristin (Reel) leaves, at which point I'll follow her to wherever she goes! I had an appointment with her this past weekend and she spent TWO HOURS with me total for a consultation, wash, cut, and style, and the end of that two hours went past their closing time! She made me feel entirely comfortable throughout the whole appointment because she's so knowledgeable about what she does, she's friendly, and she genuinely cares about her client's happiness with her work. She went over A to Z about what I wanted and prepared me for what to expect with maintenance, short term results, and long term results. Kristin made me feel so confident about what I wanted to do with my hair and then she worked her magic and my hair has never looked this great! I could not have gone to a better salon and been taken care of by a better stylist!
I absolutely love Josh at Nico!!! He is absolutely amazing color and color correction, but most importantly he LISTENS to his clients and does everything he can to get you the look your going for. Nico is such a beautiful salon and everyone that works there is always smiling and helpful. If you're looking for a salon that you'll never want to leave definitely give Nico a shot, and if you're looking for amazing hair you MUST give Josh a call!!! You will not be disappointed!
The facilities are very nice and staff are professional and friendly. I went in for an eyebrow wax and left with butchered eyebrows. They look terrible. I do not recommend visiting Nico for a brow wax. This was my first time at Nico and I will not be returning. I spent $15 for the wax and tipped $2 (VERY overpriced for a terrible wax).
Nic is the only person who cuts my hair. He does a wonderful job. All of the staff at Nico is very friendly and helpful.
Nico Spalon is the absolute BEST as is Josh McCoy!! He's been doing my hair around a year and NEVER disappoints!! He listens to what you want then makes it 10xs better than what you were even thinking it was going to be! He is always up to date on the latest hair trends and is Constantly evolving as a colorist and stylist! By far the best I've ever been to! And if your tight on time, he will work with you to get you scheduled in for last min emergencies!! Would recommend Josh to anyone who is looking for fabulous hair!!!
Nico was the first place that I trusted with my hair since I left NY for college at WVU. It is a fun and laid back atmosphere with incredibly educated and talented stylists. I recently started coloring my hair and love that stylist Jess Walker gives me a natural, shiny color. As a client for over 18 years, I love what they do to my hair-- I leave Nico looking fabulous and feeling thoroughly entertained.
The only person to touch my hair for almost a decade is Rachel. She always gives great tips, and the best cuts and color, and knows exactly what I want every single time. Nobody has ever done such a PHENOMENAL job with my crazy hair! If I could give her a 10 star rating, I would!!!
