Mark Smith is by far THE BEST mortgage specialist I have ever worked with, and I have worked in banking for years! Mark provided the most professional and thorough service anyone could have asked for. As a real estate investor, I do applications for mortgages, lines of credit and other loans all the time. But THIS was the best experience I have ever had. David Fisher was great. He worked to get me the best rate possible, kept in touch as markets went up and down and locked in the rate at the perfect time. However, the highlight of the whole experience was Janel Relevo. The hard part of any mortgage is gathering all of the documents necessary for the underwriters to accept and go forward with the loan. Janel gave me a checklist of everything I needed. Then as I sent the documents, she would open them, make sure the doc I sent was what she needed, made sure she could access the docs, and sent me a confirmation that she got it and everything was ok! Then as the days passed by, she sent me emails reminding me what was still outstanding. She always responded back immediately and kept us organized. If I ever sent the wrong document or she needed something different, she was knowledgeable enough to tell me why what I sent was lacking and told me instead what document I needed. There was never a time where I was confused or didn t know what to do next. She took it upon herself to make sure we stayed on schedule and closed on time. When something came up, she knew exactly what to do to work through it. She also starts working very early and works very late.
